It is the mission of St. Luke's to improve the health of the people in our region. This position contributes to this by planning, organizing, and implementing the recruitment strategies designed to meet the human resource goals and needs of St. Luke's Regional Medical Center.

This position is responsible for recruitment and selection of nursing personnel who have the necessary educational background and skills to enable them to provide quality patient care for the medical center patients in a manner that supports the mission, vision and values of St. Luke's.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Minimum of 3 years previous experience as a Nurse Recruiter in an organization of similar size and complexity required. Current PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with assigned client group managers to determine the most appropriate recruitment strategies to attract highly skilled employees.

Provide on-going support and guidance to assigned client groups in all aspects employment functions.

Plan and implement of cost effective recruitment plans, including advertising, career fairs, college recruiting, and national recruiting events.

Plan, coordinate, and participate in recruitment travel and career days.

Review applications and resumes, screen applicants, schedule and conduct interviews and refer qualified candidates for open positions.

Extend employment offers and negotiate the terms of employment to establish date of hire, wage, and moving allowance in accordance with personnel policies and procedures.
