Surely Nobody Will Be Offending By the Use of White Supremacy In This Advertisement

Live Poker Magazine, a French title dedicated to the "sport," has this new ad, from agency DDB, to promote its brand. Reads the tagline: "Become the king of bluff."

Get it? Because the black guy with the 'fro managed to sneak his way in unnoticed to this KKK meeting?

We only took the one Introduction to Advertising class back in school, but we're pretty sure that the KKK is always one of those pesky little red flags that says "You've gone over the line."

    I like it.

It's nice to see someone pushing an intellectual boundary instead of a sexual one. If you think about it, the ad does make you think, gets you talking about the ad, and it will be easily called to mind.

As far as the racial tones of it – Americans are always promoting our “color blind” we should be as a society. So, let’s get “color bind” and see this for what it is – a witty print.

I think it's funny- that was my first reaction. It would have been just as funny to see a dorky white guy in a militant black group.
