The City of Henderson has developed The Department of Cultural Arts and Tourism to provide a broad range of cultural and artistic opportunities for the community through the sponsorship of concerts, performances, visual arts exhibits, festivals and civic events at various locations throughout the city of Henderson.The Henderson Pavilion, Henderson Convention Center, Henderson Amphiteatre and Henderson Events Plaza are all managed by the Department of Cultural Arts and Tourism.

Hawaiian Isle Luau

Address: 200 South Water StreetLake Las Vegas Resort and the Las Vegas Hawaiian Civic Club will feature the Hawaiian Isle Festival on October 20th and 21st at the beautiful Lake Las Vegas Resort. This year they have extended their festivities by including a welcome luau on Friday, October 19th, in the evening at the Henderson Events Plaza and Amphitheatre. The luau will open to the public at 7 p.m. where they will be serving an authentic Hawaiian menu. Luau meal tickets can be purchased at the event for $20 or advanced tickets can be purchased for $15 by calling 813-8120. Enjoy a great luau and stay for the wonderful entertainment.

The Da Vinci Experience

You will be able to view more than 60 working replicas of Leonardo da Vinci’s inventions. Many of them will be full scale size. Twenty five of these machines are hands on. Everyone including the kids will be able to touch and operate them. The exhibit will consist of three viewing galleries.
