Mentioning Osama
By Kleinheider Posted on June 19, 2008 at 2:31 pmThe Tennessee Republican Party cites the platform of the opposition party:
The Platform of the Democrat Party of 2000, published on August 15, 2000 (a year and almost a month before September 11, 2001) names Osama Bin Laden on page 47: “Whether terrorism is sponsored by a foreign nation or inspired by a single fanatic individual, such as Osama Bin Laden, Forward Engagement requires trying to disrupt terrorist networks, even before they are ready to attack.”
I don’t know whether this proves what the TNGOP would like it to prove, but it is interesting.

Too bad for them that Iraq has nothing to do with Bin Laden, and never has.
This is like the Memphis Tigers criticizing the Jayhawks’ free throw record.
Wow, the TNGOP isn’t even trying these days.
Ouch, Joe, that hurts! Oh, I don’t care about the TNGOP, but I am a Tiger fan!
