Of course you do!  Woooo-hooo!

For those of you who don’t know, I do a little thing around here on Sundays called Weekly Winners. (Click for a list of posts.) There’s even a tab at the top of the website that talks all about it.

And JUST now, I made some revisions to the page that lil’ ole tab takes you to, oh yes, I did.  So you lazy bones don’t have to click anywhere, I’ll just C&P right into this here window, mmm’kay?

Here ’tis:

Basic Rules:

  • on Sunday, post your favorite photos (that YOU shot) from the past week (Sunday - Saturday)
  • link to sarcasticmom.com in your post, and include one of the buttons on your sidebar
  • add the link for your post (NOT YOUR MAIN WEBSITE) in my post each week; leave a comment on my post
  • don’t link vulgar/pornographic/violent photos to my post (you will be deleted and banned if you do)
  • check out the posts of other participants and love on them.  Remember your Karma.

I’m feeling all warm and happy at the idea of giving you guys who play this game with me something back.  And that’s a GOOD thing, because this fackin’ PMS has been KILLIN’ me today!

    I’ve participated of the WW for 23 weeks in a row, without missing a single one. Many times, I was even the first to add my post to the “Linky Love” thing.

    I’ve been wondering why I wasn’t getting as many visits as I was paying to other sites, including this one. I guess the answer is right here. :-(

    I will still continue to participate, ignored and everything, because I just like the idea! :-)

    It is always fun.

    Gabriel–There have been multiple times when I click through Lotus’ site to yours and something weird would happen and it would shut down my browser. I may not have been the only one with that problem which might explain some of it. I was receiving about 25 click throughs from here per time I participated when I commented on everyone elses site if that helps.

    The prizes are a bonus! YEAH.

    Okay, I clearly need to say a few words here, after some of the comments and emails I’ve received regarding leaving people off the list.

    I NEVER judge the quality of anyone’s photos. I want to make that ABSOLUTELY CLEAR. I love EVERYONE’S photos. I have NEVER taken a professional quality photo in my LIFE, but I have always enjoyed taking them. It’s why I started doing Weekly Winners, and it wasn’t even a meme then! I only made it a meme when people kind of asked me to. And I have LOVED you guys joining in and sharing your favorites!

    But that is all they are supposed to be - YOUR favorites that you want to share. We are NOT competing for greatness! That is also why the prizes are being awarded based on PARTICIPATION and not based on any type of photo judgement.

    Also, I took great pains to make sure that everyone participating knew that they need to EMAIL ME a link to their page when they join in order to be added to the blogroll. Heck, the button I ask you to link on your blog links to the page that requests you to do that!

    The original blogroll itself, from which I pasted the lists you see on this post and in the REVISED version of the Weekly Winners tab, has a post on it ALSO asking you to let me know if you’re missing.

    So please, PLEASE do NOT take it personally if your URL is missing from the list. It means nothing other than that I am only one person with way too many tasks on her To Do list to chase everyone down.

    I sincerely apologize if anyone felt upset or left out b/c their link was not posted. It’s never my intention to make anyone feel that way. On the contrary, I LOVE building community online and I LOVE making friends, and I HATE the thought of hurting anyone!

    And I’m sorry if this sounds defensive, but it kind of is. Please take the time to read all the rules and requests of any meme you join, aight?

    I ALSO just realized that I need to clarify one more thing.

    That Blogroll is NOT going to be used to determine participation for prizes. I didn’t realize by including it on the weekly winners page that you guys would think that, but DOH! I get a FAIL.

    The only thing used to determine participation for prizes will be the Mr. Linky from each Weekly Winners Post.

    To your question if I like prizes, it all depends what it is, lol ! Since I discovered Weekly Winners I have always been very faithful and did my “duty” every sunday. The idea is nice !
