TTR 6 Star Chicken Jam

March 29-30 2008 / Mammoth, California

After a dense season of increasingly tense competition, it all came down to the 6-Star Chicken Jam at Mammoth Mountain, California. Who will be the women’s TTR world champ? The excitement began with the Halfpipe. Torah Bright made it second and and Kelly Clark took first.

Torah held on to her TTR-Tour Lead from the US Open and Clarks 1st place pipe performance moved her ahead of Jamie Anderson.

It all came down to the final event: The Slopestyle.

Pipe ruler Kelly isn’t really a fan of slopestlye. She ranked 12th. Torah did a little better, but still blew her 3rd and last run. She ended up being 7th.

Now it was Jamies turn. She sticked her tough and solid runs and won the slopestyle comp. But not only slopestyle but also the TTR tour! Congrats Jamie, the new TTR world camp 2008.

Absolut Spring Battle

March 31 2008 / Flachauwinkel, Austria

Bad weather pushed the Spring Battle back one day and when the sky cleared up, the riders saw some jaw dropping kickers.

Stefan Fankhauser became second with a BS 7 into a smooth BS rodeo.
Lars Oesterle won, showing a FS 7 off the first kicker and a BS 5 Mute over the gap.
