Why Is It Taking So Long? Here’s Why! :)

Most, if not all, of you already know that I sold SWR to my good friend Liz Strauss not so long ago, and I promised to keep you posted on how things are going. Well I’m happy to report things are going good. I know we’re a bit late and haven’t updated SWR since some time, but don’t worry we’re getting there (redesign and all).
What’s Been Keeping Us Busy?
First, I’ve been very busy working on Freelance Folder and I’m sure Liz has been quite busy with Successful Blog too. But not only that, SOBCon08 is also right around the corner.
SOBCon?
Jason Falls recently interviewed Liz and asked about SOBCon. (by the way, for those of you who didn’t know, S.O.B. stands for ‘Successful and Outstanding Bloggers” :) )

So, chances are I’ll be at SOBCon this year again (see pictures of last year), having a nice time with fellow bloggers and friends. I’m sure Liz is hard at work preparing this event.
So that’s where we’re at, we’re both working quite a lot and Liz is preparing SOBCon08 (I wanna go!!), but don’t worry, we’ll have new stuff for you guyz real soon :)

Congratulations on the sale. I am a big fan of Liz and as soon as SOBcon is done and dusted, I know she will maintain the quality of the blog posts here.

I know what it’s like to have a lot of different projects going on. Some of my blogs haven’t been updated in, well- years! I try to get something updated every once in awhile, but sometimes you just have other priorities.
This is good stuff so you guys should come back soon!

I thought today that your design over at SWR is very eyecatching, stunning really! Great graphics really enhance any website or blog and project the mood of the writing platform. Although I admit I am a bit of a DIY artist myself but then I am trying to convey individual creativity. A good job well done, very pleasing presentation, Jon! :)
It’s been some time since I’ve popped over here. I look forward to seeing the developments that are in store for this blog.
