Discover the history of Air France
EVER since reading the works of Antoine de Saint Exupéry I have had an interest in the world of early French aviation, more for the sheer adventure of it if anything.
So to see that Air France has made available online a number of films charting the history of aviation and the company itself means I'm going to have to find some time to watch them.
Air France La Saga has been launched to mark the Cannes Film Festival and brings together articles, photographs and documentary films about the airline, the destinations it serves and even film clips from where Air France plays a star role.
You are going to need a broadband connection to get the best out of the site as the films feature full sound and sections are very heavy on graphics.
But if you can access the site then drop in on the Aeropostale series of films, which are available in English as well, to learn more about the early days of flight in France.
