Democratic Senator Tom Harkin takes a cheap shot at Rush Limbaugh on the floor of the United States Senate:
Majority Leader Reid also spent time condemning Limbaugh on the floor of the Senate today, calling Rush's remark "so beyond the pale of decency that it cannot be left alone," saying we need to "taking a stand against those who spew hate and impugn the integrity of our troops," and calling it a "irresponsible, hateful, and unpatriotic attack" on the troops.
Now go read the full transcript of Rush's original exchange about "phony soldiers" and decide for yourself whether Limbaugh was really impugning the integrity of all those soldiers who may have a different view on the war or whether the Democrats are blowing this controversy way out of proportion to try and score political points.
UPDATE: Here is Rush's response to Senator Reid.
