The scenes being filmed were taking place at a party held at Winston’s Bar in Los Angeles, and for the shooting of the show, Audrina and her co-stars Lo Bosworth and Lauren Conrad had to enter the bar through the rear entrance. Oh, the life of a diva. Audrina is sporting here her signature look of long soft waves, and with a strapless top, this is a very sexy look for an evening out. And it’s easy too! This look is best achieved on second day hair so that your hair has a little bit of bend to it already. You want to start off by flipping your head over and misting the underneath with some hairspray. Take a 1 ¼” curling iron and wrap sections around the iron for about ten seconds. It is best to wrap hair rather than curl with the iron as this will ensure a tighter curl that will turn into a softer wave. Also, depending on whether you want waves or curls, pay attention to how long you hold the iron in. Longer iron times will give you a tighter curl, whereas shorter times holding the iron will give you a softer wave. After you have curled your entire head, break up the curls with your fingers, and smooth sections framing your face with a soft bristled brush. Spritz on some glossy spray to glam up the look even more.

This Pretty Woman was spotted attending the ‘Kit Kittredge: An American Girl’ premiere at the Ziegfield Theatre in New York recently. And by the looks of it, Julia has gone for a toned down look in black that she glammed up with some long soft waves to her hair. Julia Roberts IS one of those Holllywood starlets that was blessed with natural beauty, and so whether she is rocking the red carpet in Versace, or toned down in denim, she just always looks so beautiful. To achieve this soft pretty look, you want to first wash your hair with texturizing shampoo and conditioner. This will give it some flex and bend for styling later. Use a root lifting spray on your roots on towel dry hair, and then blow dry your hair with a medium sized round brush. You can train your hair to wave while blowdrying by wrapping sections of your hair around the brush, and rolling them under towards the face. Blast the heat on this section on your brush, and hold the brush for a few seconds as if it were a curling iron. This way, the hair forms around the cylinder, and when you take the brush out, you get very pretty, soft waves like Julia has here. You can spritz some hairspray on to hold, or some glossing serum on to add a smidge of shine to this casual look.

Lauren Conrad was spotted leaving the trendy Warren Tricomi hair salon on Melrose Avenue. Lauren was in getting fluffed and puffed for about two hours and came out looking…well, not that much different. I love these candid shots of the starlets coming out or going into the salon, it is about as close as we can get to a before and after. But Lauren doesn’t seem to be too much different, before or after. She has had her hair coiffed in her usual look, long, wavy, beautiful, and sectioned off a piece at the front for a half up half down do. There is nothing wrong with this look, and it’s always good to run into the salon for a maintenance clean up when you need some freshening up with your look and some cleaning up of the ends. In fact this look works for Lauren, and is probably why she keeps it as consistent as she does. To achieve this look, you want to run volumizing mousse over towel dried hair, and blow dry with a diffuser. Set your hair in large Velcro rollers to max out on the volume. As you take them out, curl each piece with a wide barrel curling iron to add a little more wave to your look. After you have finished curling, flip your head over and shake your waves out. Pinch a section at the front, as wide or as narrow as you like, and pin it at the back of your head. Here, Lauren has pinched one main section and pinned it at the back, but you can also go for her other bohemian look, and pin two separate sections on each side for a very ethereal finish.

What is it about this girl that she pulls off the Old Hollywood Glamor look so beautifully. It may have something to do with her perfect features and the natural air of elegance her face projects, but her hairstyle and beauty always match the old glam look as if it invented the look. This look is best achieved on chin to shoulder length hair, and curls you can achieve in many ways. You can go with hot rollers, pin curls, or a curling iron. For this, try using two out of three, and curl with your iron, and then use pin curls. Start with second day hair as well, as this will allow for more bend. Curl your hair with your iron in two inch sections into tight curls. After you release the curl, re curl it by hand, and pin it to your head with a bobby pin. Let the pin curls set for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, and then remove the pins. You will have a beautiful head of Old Hollywood curls done the Old Hollywood way. For an added touch of old glamour, add a big pretty rhinestone clip to pull back the side.

And Holly appeared with all of ‘The Girls Next Door’ and of course, Hugh Hefner. Despite the fact that rumors are circulating that Hef and the Holls are split, the couple were all smiles for the cameras and making a good face for the sake of the show. And of course, Holly is looking stunning as always. Yes, she’s a pretty girl, too bad not much of it is natural, but we can still aim for the same kind of gorgeous waves that she is striking here. This is a somewhat complicated endeavour, but as you can see, the final effect is well worth the time you put in. You want to wash and condition your hair with volumizing shampoo for starters, and as a an added trick, rinse your hair with cold water. Yes it will sting, but the cool water will build extra volume by sealing in the cuticle and locking in some extra shine. Add some amplifying mousse to towel dried hair and divide your hair into three sections – sides, back, and nape. Starting at the back, blow dry using a round brush, and when hair is completely dry, wrap large sections around your hair and blow hot air on it for about 10 seconds. Blast it with the cool setting for just as long to seal in that extra wave. As a final touch, you can use a wide barrel curling iron for additional wave and volume.

Yes, Kate Hudson arrived to her premiere in a stunning body hugging strapless dress and her gorgeous blonde locks in that quintessential signature wavy look that she pulls off so well. For starters, Kate’s beautiful hair always boils down to an amazing cut. Her medium length blonde hair is cut in piecey chunky layers that give her hair texture and movement. So if you like this look, this is the kind of cut you want to talk to your stylist about. To achieve the look that Kate has accomplished for her premiere, you will start with freshly washed towel dried hair. Run some thickening serum over your palms and then run your hands through your wet hair to distribute the product evenly. Blow dry your hair with a round brush from root to tips. Then use a 1 ½” curling iron and curls moving towards the back. Hold each curl in the iron for 15 seconds and then let the curl fall loosely. After you have curled your entire head, use some shine serum between the palms of your hands, and very lightly lift the waves in the direction you want them to go, but you want to avoid the scrunch, as this will crush your wave. Finish the look with some glossy spray to add a lasting all-night shine.

Here she has gone simple with the hairstyle, and opted for a sleek and polished look on her straight long, honey colored locks. The beauty to this look is that it is fresh, clean, and has plenty of movement. If you have long hair, you can achieve this look by starting off with freshly washed hair. Run some smoothing balm through your hair, but avoid smoothing product too close to the root or you will end up with some grease factor at the finish line. You will then blow-dry your hair with a vented brush from root to tip, as this vented brush will ensure you get some lift at your crown. Smooth a flat iron over your hair again from root to tips as an added finish to sleek out your locks. Some shining serum spritzed over your hair to finish, is all you need for a fresh, clean look with plenty of movement.

You want to start off with some volumizing spray or some volumizing mousse, that you will run through your hair to give you a little extra bend, and of course, enviable volume. Next you will use medium sized Velcro rollers and as you roll, roll your curls vertically, towards the back of your head. Run a blow dryer over the curls as they set, and this additional heat will hold your wave and volume. Take the rollers out, and then use a curling iron to curl sections away from the face and again, towards the back of your head. Finger brush the curls out gently and finish with extra hold hairspray.

But she is yet another girl that even with short punky locks, she seems to have a different look every day. If you have super short locks, you can achieve this particular look by applying some volumizing mousse to freshly washed hair, and then comb your hair against your head in the sleek manner that Pink has done here. For a contemporary edge, comb some larger pieces in front of your ears framing your face. Allow your hair to air dry and the style will set as you combed it. After it has dried, apply just a smidge of pomade to your comb, and then comb the style yet again to set the style even stronger. If you want to get a little punky and edge this look up for evening, tweak some shine wax on the ends for a sleek, contemporary look.

Blake is another one of those style icons that seems to handle her long hair just beautifully, and with her, it is all about versatility. One minute her blonde layers are sleek and straight, another unruly and wavy, and another minute she is bending the wave and rocking the curl like she is seen here for this formal event. To achieve this look, you are going to focus on the curl, and you want to incorporate a little messy unruly factor in this so don’t fuss too much about perfection. Start by washing your hair with texturizing shampoo and conditioner to inititally train it for some bend and movement. You will then spritz on some curl activating spray on your damp hair and create your part while it is wet. The key now is to let your hair air dry, so if you have longer locks, some time will be required. Blow drying to quicken things up is going to hamper your final curl, so stay away from this extra heat. One or two curling irons then is all you need, but it is your method of curling that will do the trick. You want to use alternating sizes of curling irons so that you don’t end up with uniform curls and you end up with this messy curly look. You will curl from the base of your hair and twist up, stopping just three inches from the roots of your hair. Use one size for one curl, then the next, and keep alternating. When you are finished curling your entire head, touch thee not your curls, and flip your head over and shake out your curls. This will give some separation and that quick messy look that is sexy, and elegant at the same time.
