"South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are putting their weight behind a new run of the cult Canadian comedy "Kenny vs. Spenny."

Comedy Central has ordered 10 new episodes of "Kenny vs. Spenny," plus licensed 10 episodes from the show's library that haven't aired in the United States. Stone and Parker will serve as executive producers on the new episodes.

"Kenny vs. Spenny" finds its eponymous main characters -- childhood friends and series co-creators Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice -- engaged in wacky, disturbing, bizarre and funny competitions.

"'Kenny vs. Spenny' is a show that everyone can directly relate to," says Lauren Corrao, executive vice president for original programming and development at the network. "Who among us hasn't challenged someone to a staring contest or dared a friend to wear a dead octopus on their head longer than you can? Viewers in Canada have really taken to the on-going rivalry between Kenny and Spenny, taking sides and rooting for their favorite. When Matt Stone and Trey Parker wanted to be involved in bringing the show to Comedy Central, it was a collaboration we couldn't resist."

Stone and Parker add in a statement, "When we first saw 'Kenny vs. Spenny,' we thought it was really funny. And the fact that they are Canadian somehow makes it even funnier. Truthfully, the show isn't just funny, it's the most accurate examination of male friendships that we've ever seen."

The show has previously aired on GSN, though those episodes aired after the original Canadian premieres and were in a heavily censored form. The series will premiere on Comedy Central on Nov. 14, possibly in a late-night slot.

"Thank God for Comedy Central," Hotz cracks. "We were about to sign a deal with Al Jazeera."
