DJ was actress' best friend for nine years
The "My Name Is Earl" actress is engaged to her longtime friend Eric Cubiche, reports "Extra."
"I got the ring this weekend ... [I'm] very happy," she says. "I knew he was going to surprise me and I didn't know when."
Pressly and her LA-based DJ fiancee had been friends for nearly a decade before they started dating last year. Despite their long acquaintance, they're not in any hurry to set a wedding date.
"Not even planning on a wedding," says Pressly.
Pressly, 29, recently an Emmy nomination for her supporting role on "Earl," which won Emmys for directing, writing, editing and casting. On the NBC sitcom, she plays Joy, the rather uncouth ex-wife to the title character (Jason Lee) and current wife of Darnell Turner (Eddie Steeples), a zealous Crab Shack employee.
