Google and Magellan are working together on the new Maestro Elite 5350+GPRS. The new device will let users view local business listings from Google while on the road. This is the first GPS device that lets users search for events, businesses and services according to the two companies.

The device will start around $1299 plus an unspecified monthly GPRS fee. The device uses the paid-monthly GPRS feature to take advantage of the new Google features — the likely reason people will decide to purchase this device over another.
