Alternative Rock, Rock, Videos

weezerWith the release of their new video, the American quartet managed to break no less than 5 Guinness world records. Troublemaker is the second single from the band’s latest release, The Red Album, which is already stirring up spirits.

An official from the Guinness World Records was there during the filming to see that everything is going acording to plan and the records are actually broken. But don’t think about anything classic, as few would even think about considering the records, which are as follows.

  • Largest Game of Dodgeball (50 people on each team, 100 total)
  • Most People in a Custard Pie Fight (120 people)
  • Most People Riding on a Skateboard (22 people)
  • Largest Air Guitar Ensemble (233 people)
  • Longest Guitar Hero World Tour Marathon (10 hours, 12 minutes, 54 seconds)
  • In addition to those, Weezer are also trying to get another one, as drummer Patrick Wilson played on what they call “The World’s Smallest Drum Kit”, and they’re trying to get this record too. The video premiered Monday, on yahoo, where it received great feedback.
