Round Valley Park
A few things here, I’m still struggling with smoking. I’ll get there, don’t you fret!
On the 8th, I went to a local park/preserve called Round Valley. Lately I’ve yerned for nature, and we have so much around us.
These are only a few, within a half an hour from where we live. We are really blessed!
Here are some photos I took while walking through Round Valley. It was so quiet that you could hear when the lizards scurried across the path. Woodpeckers caught my attention a number of times. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many in one area.
Here’s some pics from Round Valley via my Flickr:
Flickr has been known to slow down this site, so I’m hoping you can see these without the slow!
Love and Light! I’ll be posting more later!

What a lovely valley and how well you have capture the beautiful atmosphere. I just love pure nature and even if this landscape is very different from Norway, I just love it! Thanks for sharing.
Here is one example from my Flickr account.
Wishing you a lovely Sunday and a great week ahead

Beautiful pictures Monica! I love that lizard
It all looks so totally different but amazing! And a blue sky truly IS a blue sky there, or is that my imagination
Don’t be too hard on yourself! You asked about specific moments: when I know I’d be on the phone for a while I used to have them with me [not anymore]. I have a first in the evening just before dinner, so basically can go without all day… Hang in there!

Hi Mon,
Love the pics. Nature anywhere does it for me. Cute lizard by the way. The sky is just extraordinary. Wow! It does a person good to get away from civilization. :o)

Your pictures are beautiful - you always had the eye for capturing nature’s beauty.
You will know when it is your time to completely quit - baby steps will get you there.
Love you girl!

Love your pics, it didn’t slow down your site for me at all. So different than nature in the northeast US! Thanks for sharing!

@Tess: I used a UV filter, so it did bring through the blue in the sky pretty well. That is the blue I saw that day fer sure.
It’s like that today too!
