I am quite disillusioned that this legal process has much of anything to do with authentic “justice”. I am sickened by this whole 13 yr experience to see the extent to which those with money can choose their “reality” and prosecute/silence/ignore/demean those that would threaten such twisted proclaimed “realities” with truth. There must be an end to this horrid tale and I do hope there is some ultimate justice for those that were harmed and that those who enabled and perpetrated the frauds will come to a moment of humility and humanity.

To be fair though, clearly from one perspective, he was a “Con Man” and Geri got royally conned. Does that angle provide sufficient legal basis for her to wash her hands of culpability? I have heard that Maria Shriver fought tooth and nail against womanizing allegations lodged against Arnold. Now that the truth will out, is she partially to “blame” too? These are fussy issues that make the legal world go round and I will not chime in from the side lines in a general way but in the context of the spectrum of human psychopathology, the “con” is clearly a manipulation of others to benefit the perpetrator. I think it is clear that GPD was skilled at this type of manipulation. There is case law precedent of annulments granted to women finding themselves the victim of con men. The troubling thing to me in this instance is the question of the pot calling the kettle black.

In the world of career options, I have a deep respect for those that create with their hands or design with their intellect. Manual labor, engineers, teachers, doctors, scientists architects all effect some change that has a demonstrable outcome. What is the product of multilevel marketing? is it just the multiplication of sales to support a manufacturing base and thus enhance the production and distribution of goods? If the items are authentically beneficial, then one can see the level of that benefit to mankind but if the items are “hype” and a type of sales “con”, I find the whole “down line” empirical scheme of MLM ethically questionable. GPD did too. He mocked Geri’s “pyramid scheme queen” role and position selling products “made of sawdust”. I don’t doubt that many of the products are good and useful based on the listed ingredients, so clearly his slander was hyperbole. Still, it seems to me that slick ads of glamourous couples by fine cars and homes with a “work from home” live the “American Dream”, “I Did, So Can You”, get rich quick messages aimed to lure folks of modest means into investing their life savings to buy massive amounts of product to become “distributors” and then recruit underlings is by definition an unsustainable business model and a type of a con. When attorneys manipulate legal codes in order to achieve self serving ends and white out portions of the facts of the case as well as rabidly invade the privacy of victims and violate the rights and well being of others, I find the practice of that type of “law” repugnant and a bit of a dressed up con. From the perspective then of the fuller facts of the matter regarding both the plaintiff and her legal team, my reflexively charitable point of view is greatly dampened. Still I do feel she should not have been cheated and there is some justice in the return of some assets.

So how to consider the case of the former Geri Cvitanovich-Dubie in seeking annulment of her marriage? Again, the convenient snap shot would be that she was an innocent duped woman and invoke case law of annulments even post mortem from the con-man.

This type of approach would seem viable except that Geri professed herself to be “calling the shots” and went to great lengths to silence the whistle blowers during GPD’s life including the receipt of a hundred page deposition from Bill Lyons in ~ 2003 laying out nearly the entire story to that point. Will the jury buy into the argument that GPD was a full throttle psychopath and she was no match for his potent brand of mind control? I think there is a spectrum of “psychopathic” behaviour inherent in the MLM world from the git go so I find this argument hollow, self serving and morally slippery. In the law of the jungle of multilevel marketing, I suppose the art of the “con” could be an advantage. GPD was good at that; he called it “creating reality” and was industrious in his efforts to support that world and to play the role of her brilliantly gifted and talented movie making spiritually enlightened husband. That myth was projected vigorously and those that dared challenge it were banished, ridiculed and demonized as mentaly imbalanced, jealous and/or insane.

Now that the new day has come, the victims that bravely spoke up and battled the fires of that Hellish mirage while it raged, should be thanked for their courage and fortitude. That would be one step towards authentic justice and enlightenment.

So to consider the “psychopath” argument from a lay perspective, a web Psychopath test is pasted at the end of the post. It strikes me as remarkably self serving that the legal team that mocked and silenced reports of his misdeeds during his life, now purport to competently conduct a psychological post-mortem on GPD. The very tactic, steeped in a revisionist denial of the enabling roles played by the plaintiff’s team, seems to smack of psychopathology. Even more troubling from a larger social perspective, many of the dangerous traits that define “psychopath”s appear to be over represented in the upper echelons of certain professions. The very name and behaviour of Personal Prosperity together with what I have read of the MLM world, as well as the million dollar law firm that appears to have done PP’s bidding (both to squelch reports of GPD’s misdeeds and now to plead for legal relief from the outcomes of GPD’s actions), could arguably indicate many of these traits. Specifically objectionable to me is the cruel and vicious abuse of power to manipulate the legal process and _legally compel_ sexual assault victims to recount details of rape or assault as a part (under oath and videotaped) of allowable “discovery” ostensibly for the benefit of the same plaintiff that had knowledge of these reports 10 years ago yet chose to ignore and silence them. If this is building up to public testimony in a trial, I find that as horrifying and damaging as sexual assault. It is beyond words that victims who have reconstructed their lives and marched on could be required to publicly testify and themselves as well as their families be destroyed in such a capricious fashion to appease the monolithic power driven hunt for money by the wealthy elite. I condemn such behaviour of evidence of obscene pyschopatholgy. So I specifically challenge the plaintiff and her legal team to consider their scores on the following:

10. Are they quick to blame others for their mistakes?
12. Do they have no qualms about sponging off others?
15. Do they have a belligerent, bullying manner?
17. Do they lack any ability to empathise with others?

So, back to GPD. I have worked very hard for 12 years to deconstruct the web of lies that I think ultimately cost him his life and find that man behind the curtain. Simple answers are usually wrong, I do not believe in cartoon pictures to convey the reality of a human being. I have no qualms at condemning misdeeds. After discovering his complex brain tumor scam and seeing through at least some of his other scams, I asked him why he would be so cruel and wondered as to the basis of his willingness to lie, manipulate, intimidate others, and physically hurt others. When I challenged him on this first told me his motto was “Live and let die”. I told him that was not at all in keeping with his claim to be living out the life of the Buddha or seeking enlightenment. He then said that I needed to have faith in his “plan” and that his targets were also dishonest greed-driven manipulators in the MLM pyramid scheme world. I admit that his answer surprised me. But again seeing the cruelty of the million dollar legal team assembled to prove that George Patrick Dubie was a full fledged psychopath, prompts me to challenge them to take this test honestly and see how they stack up.

18. Would you regard them as essentially irresponsible?

The good news is that there is now at least the appearance of a willingness to really hear it all and have it all. The only thing worth having is a true life. There is a dawn after that long night of fury. The wisdom of an uncompromising and unconditional love of the truth would likely cause the current cast of plaintiffs to wretch but until that point is reached this whole postured search for justice is a hollow equivalent spectacle of destruction.

Hmmm, _Now_ comes the ex Mrs. Dubie to ask for justice? Those thoroughly familiar with the facts of the case may be forgiven if this seems a self serving brand of justice. I went immensely out of my way to make clear all manner of nefarious activities of Mr. Dubie so long ago and for my troubles I was ground under the wheels of the Green/Cvitanovich Justice train. I busted Daniel on his brain tumor fraud and therever after kept careful records of whatever I could. Any man that would concoct such a cold cruel scheme was clearly up to more. I have walked through all those stories on this site. But Geri’s inaction and refusal to listen to the mounting voices of women brought her to this day. It would be somewhat honorable if she could actually apologize and make restitution to those who voices _she_
