How to identify the before born baby is boy or girl?

The chromosomes of the sperm cells of the male determine whether the baby is a boy or a girl. The gender of the baby is determined by the chromosomes. They determine our body looks like and how it works. They are also the reason we resemble our parents. Usually, all of us having 23 pair of chromosomes. The 23 pair of chromosomes are different to males and females. The sperm cells are produced by male. The sperm cells could have either an "X" or a "Y" chromosome.

If a sperm with a "Y" chromosome fertilizes the egg, then the chromosome combination for the baby would be "XY" and the baby is a BOY. If a sperm with an "X" chromosome fertilizes the egg, then the chromosome combination for the girl would be "X" and the baby is a GIRL. Therefore, the gender of the baby is determined by the male. The male has two type of chromosomes which are "X" and "Y" but the female has only one type which is "X". Usually, babies are born healthy, but sometimes may be born with a disability.

Why some babies are disabled at birth?

There are so many causes of disabilities and cannot always be explained. We all know lack of oxygen at birth can cause dames to the brain. If the mother smokes or takes drug during pregnancy, it can have serious consequences because the drug reaches the blood circulation of the child via umbilical cord. Sometimes there may be genetic changes which may cause disabilities. For instance, a change in 21st chromosome, causes Down syndrome in the child. It is important to ensure that people with disabilities and are not discriminated against in our society.

How babies are born?

When a man and woman having sex, the erect penis of the male is inserted into the vagina of the female. The sperm cells of the male are ejaculated into the vagina of the female. About 300 million sperm cells are present in the woman's vagina. The sperms swim forward with the help of their tails to fertilize the egg cell within 12 to 24 hours. A single egg cell is enough to fertilize the egg cell.

A new life can start with the fusion of the sperm and the egg, which contains the genetic information of the father and the mother in equal parts. Here the egg divided into several parts in fallopian tube. It finally gets lodged in the mucous membrane of the uterus, a special hallow muscle. This has a good blood supply and provides the egg cell with nutrients. The baby develops in the woman's uterus for about 40 weeks, till it is developed to be born.

However, science explains, the nature was made by various process of tiny elements in so many circumstances through millions of years.

How do rainforests form? Where are rainforests?

Rainforests made by lot of rainfall. In our planet, the most rainforests located in South America. A wide area tropical rainforests are found in South America, Central America, Southeast Asia, and Central Africa. In these areas, the sun is always hottest causing water to evaporate and form rain clouds. The clouds turn to rain and raining lots over those lands, which helps the rainforests to flourish. Huge trees, gigantic animals, wild beasts, variety of mammals, reptiles, and insects are living in the tropical rainforests. Rainforest have more than 60% species than usual land.

Almost all plants need air, water, light, and nutrition to grow up. Green plants have adapted to collect the energy from photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is a complicated chemical process to produce the energy with in the plants itself. Therefore, the plants directly depend the sunlight, water, and air. That is why they are the first food producers in the world and they are the first in the food chain. Like plants, animals also need air, water, light, and nutrition to grow and survive in the world. Some animals depend plants for their food, while some others depend other animals to eat and survive. Therefore, they are next step in the food chain.

What is photosynthesis?

Photosynthesis is an energy making process used by plants and other organisms to convert the sunlight energy into chemical energy that can be used to fuel the organism's activities. The chloroplast inside the green leaves of plants is the 'workshop' where the photosynthesis takes place. Water is supplied to the leaves by the roots and carbon dioxide is absorbed from the air through tiny pores on the lower side of the leaf. Both these are broken down into the elements hydrogen, carbon, and oxygen with the help of chlorophyll and sunlight. Plants build 'glucose' from these elements and oxygen is released in the atmosphere as a by-product.

How do plants get food?

Green plants use water, nutrients, and a green matter in their leaves called 'chlorophyll' to produce their food. Normally water and nutrients are absorbed from the ground through their roots. Some plants. However, have developed other methods for obtaining water and nutrients. Many tree-dwelling plants make funnel shaped 'containers' with their leaves to catch water. Unlike animals, plants produce their own food and except for a few carnivorous plants, do not eat other organisms. Carnivorous plants use their digestive juices to convert the insects, caught in their folding or sticky traps, into nutrients.

We people always wanted to exchange our ideas and feelings to another one. Language is the key we can share our thoughts. In ancient times people wanted to move one place to another place for searching food and finding shelter for hiding themselves from dangerous animals and nature disasters. When people exchange their ideas through sounds. According to the climate conditions their sounds had changed place to place and group to group. Since humans lived on different places on the planet different languages almost developed simultaneously. The migration of people caused the local language to mix and become new languages.

For Example an English man from England pronouncing a word "come" differ from an English speaking man belong to United States. This is caused by climate and living conditions.

Today there are 6,909 living languages – one for every 1,013,200 people in the world. Many countries have more than one official language both English and their mother tongue or mother tongue and English. English is the worldwide recognized common language that enables people who speak mutually unintelligible language to communicate.

Why so many languages are difficult to learn?

Language is not an easy task to learn in very short period. When we born, our mother tongue's sounds, actions and behaviours are automatically accepted by our tongue, lips, throat and other organs of speech and we do not have shy to accept it. When we are growing, our organs of speech will grow. Once, our speech organs well prepared to speak our mother tongue, will not accept the new one very quickly. The organs of speech would shy to produce the sounds. This is only succeeded by continuous practice. But neighbour language is very easy to learn. Because the neighbours are very close to us and living conditions also similar to ours. For example an Indian who is speaking Hindi can easy to learn Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu etc. But he who can learn Chinese language, not easy to understand because, the language of the Chinese people whose cultures are totally different from India. In India hundreds of languages are spoken.
