These headphones do provide vastly superior sound quality to any of the other bluetooth headphones I've tried. This is understandable as there is almost a 0 difference between these and any other headset I've tried..
But that difference in price was more than worth it as I no longer feel as though I'm compromising sound quality and comfort.
Pros:
- I use them 7+ hours a day with little to no ear fatigue.
- Very clean sound with responsive bass. I listen mostly to electronic music with lots of bass and these do not leave me wanting. The difference between these and other headsets I've tried (some even wired) is huge.
- The battery easily lasts an entire work day without need for recharge. (the manual says the batteries will last ~17 hours of continual use and I don't doubt it)
- Replaceable battery! I haven't seen this in many bluetooth headsets. Although it is not designed such that the battery can be easily replaced, there are instructions in the manual should replacement become necessary.
- Pair with up to 8 bluetooth devices. Most headsets stop at 2 or 3.
- Easy to use controls. The control buttons are easily told apart by touch. (there's even a music folder navigation button for devices that support it)
- Effective PASSIVE noise cancellation. as in they're muffs. they just block out outside sound and block it well.
- Built-in mic of decent quality for voice calls.
- Works perfectly with my Samsung SPH-M620 (UpStage) cell phone.
though any cell phone with the A2DP and AVRCP bluetooth profiles should work fine.

Note to Mac users: OSX 10.4 does not natively support the A2DP bluetooth profile (though there is a hack to get it working) but 10.5 (Leopard) will, so you should be able to pair these to a mac running 10.5

I think Windows Vista does have built-in A2DP support. As long as your PC supports bluetooth, these should pair up just fine.

Cons:
- susceptible to interference from other electronic devices that operate in the 2.4Ghz wireless spectrum. (wireless internet, some wireless phones, and other bluetooth devices). Of course, no bluetooth headset is immune to this. There is no loss in sound quality, they may just cut out if interference is extreme.
- the fast forward/rewind switch is perhaps just a tad to easy to accidentally hit while going for the volume control.
- I'm getting a permanent groove in my hairdo.

If you're willing to drop a little extra, I believe these headphones will more than make up the difference.

I recently purchased a blue-tooth compatible pda phone. I know I had to immerse myself in the unit in order to fully use it. I ordered two headsets to use with my new phone, a Jawbone, and the Sony DRBT50's.

While the jawbone is probably one of the best of noise cancelling headsets out there, there's still occasional static and drop outs. I didn't really believe that A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) could really pass two channels of music to a pair of headsets without dropout and static.

I charged the units till the lights indicated full charge (about 2 hours) just like you have to do with any electronic before you play with it. The pairing was easy, exactly like every other blue-tooth pairing you've ever done. Next I put the headphone's on my head.

Let me tell you that while these units are comparatively large, they fold nicely and yet have some of the nicest and softest feeling padding around the cans I've ever felt. More like high end audiophile headphones then the usual blue tooth level consumer stuff. Adjust the fit, (stiff sliding shafts just like traditional headphones) and they felt comfortable enough to wear for hours.

I like the travel-ability of my Shure and Etymotic earbuds, they also sound great. I was often intrigued by the Bose (active) noise cancelling headphones but put off by the price and the generally flat reviews from serious music folks.

Next, I opened media player and hit play on one of my favorite songs. The sound was beautiful. Crisp highs, deep lows, and crystal clear. I ran through about 2 hours of music and couldn't find a song that wasn't truly impressive on these cans. I totally forgot about static and dropout, I never heard it once.

Finally, when getting ready for bed, I gave them a quick distance test. I set the player on my kitchen counter and walked about 20 feet to let the dogs out. Crystal clear all the way. I even stepped outside the door and the music played on. I had to walk an additional 8-10 feet outside before I got the music to start breaking up.

The DRBT50 controls are a bit hard to use until you get used to them. Next, back, volume up and down are the primary music controls. There's also a nice big button for use as a blue-tooth headset while on the phone. A small omnidirectional mice built nearly invisibly into the right can serves as a mic. While the phone call I placed with them was crystal clear, I felt that in loud conditions there might be quite a bit of noise for ht e person at the other end of the line to deal with.

If I lived in a place with a train commute, I'd get a blue-tooth 2 device and these cans. I've logged hundreds of thousands of miles with my ear buds, but my next trip, they'll stay home and these relatively compact (put your two fists together for a size approximation) yet beautiful sounding headphones will be with me.

I would recommend these unites to anybody. Most impressive wireless tech I've seen yet.

I got these headphones today and was surprised at how light they were.

Charged them fully in under 2 hours.

Held down the power button for 2 blinking lights, paired them with my Katana II (Sanyo 6650) and my XPS M1330.

Dialed my mom and she said she felt like she was on speaker, but no serious issues.

I didn't like the fact that the headphones were muting my own voice because they go around the ear...so I couldn't be too sure if she heard me well because I could barely hear my self.

The initial feeling of headphones on my ears were painful...but I just extended the reach...and that put less stress on my ears, ended up comfy enough.

Then I powered up my laptop and started watching a video clip.

The sound quality, I have to admit, is very good.

The problem is, the latency is a huge issue. Words do not match the lip movement. I have tried several clips and it's there...everywhere.

Couple of times the connection would break off for a second or two.

I got these headphones to watch movies on the laptop and listen to music, movies are unacceptable so these are going back.

I hope this review helps.

P.S. I don't foresee any issues with music playing (there are no lips to read)

P.P.S. The buttons are awkward, especially for volume. One has a small edged out dot, like on keyboards to increase volume, the decrease volume is plain smooth, hard to guess just by touch...

Works great for a small home owner. The dirt blaster nozzle really increases the spray power and takes things like concrete from grim to shine. The unit is very quiet to use and only runs when the handle is being depressed. Kärcher is well known for pressure washer, so don't be afraid to select this brand.

WOW............that'll be the first word I'll use to describe this album. KJ layed down some fresh hot beats that'll get stuck in your head and just make you wanna dance, rock out or just admire how amazing our God is. even if you're not a big rap/hip hop fan, there are still some songs that cater to different styles that might interest you. This is definatley KJ's best album yet, it is well worth your money!!!

KJ has done it again. I've been a big fan since the first release of 7th Ave and have seen his music change with Collaberations and Its Pronounced 52 to Behind the Music and Yearbook. This cd is a mix of the last 2 albums and 7th Ave (his best albums in my oppinion). It's more beat and street centered and less goofy and geared toward youth group kids. Don't get me wrong their are still a few goofy songs (KJ is a goof on all his albums) and a few songs dealing with growing up (and their should be) but for the most part the album is not like that. Also it's great to see KJ mixin it up again with Cross Movement (well Cross Movement Records actually) with Da Truth and JR and those tracks are Top 5 on this album along with Adventures Of Tweezy Man, which really kicks the album in gear and is my favorite. The story of Chris Carlino harkens back also to 7th Ave with its continues storyline being interjected every few tracks but what is better is you don't get the final piece of the story until you listen to the free downloadable mixtape. This Mixtape is for you and you can send it to a few friends for FREE! Personally I thought the Mixtape was better as a whole. Yes you get more tracks on the original cd and it is way longer but their are some cool tracks that are on the Mixtape that arent on the cd and the mixtape flows perfectly. If I had any real knock on this album and (no album is perfect)it was that most of the time the songs were to short either as a whole or the rap parts. In Short KJ does it again puting out a solid cd mixed with solid beats and solid lyrics about the Solid Rock, Jesus Christ. In my oppinion he is continuing with the third version of himself, Version1 7th Ave, Version2 Collaberations and Its Pronounced 52, and still Version3 Behind The Music, Yearbook, and Five-Two Television. Personally I like Version3 the best. Much respect to him in all that he's done and as a fellow 34 year old I hope he keeps on for a long time.

I bought the PYLE 19in Monitor/DVD combo to keep my kids entertained on long road trips. After we had it installed we found out the monitor didn't work so we sent it back (+ shipping we had to pay for) and got a new one. Got the 2nd one installed only to find out the DVD player wouldn't read any discs and put nasty scratches on the discs that we tried to play. My husband and I and the installation tech tried to contact PYLE several times and got no answer and no return calls or email responses so we returned the 2nd one (again, another + in shipping we had to pay for). Don't waste your money or your time with this product - it's a piece of junk! And after their lack of support, we'll never buy another PYLE product again.

I bought this July 6th 2010. I was leary of the size, quality & lack of any reviews on anything car video. I got it in @ 3 days in a box filled w/ packing, unmarred, & no issues with the monitor or dvd to this date. I will update.

After unboxing it all the way up until it was installed I thought it may be too big and would be too close for the kids. It fits perfectly between the headrests & right behind the overhead light in my Expedition. Kids absolutely love it, picture quality is great, and I can't wait to tailgate with it after I get an external antenna.

FYI
*You will wanna keep the overhead light if possible because there is no door light just manual switches & it sets it back far enough when flipped down that it is not in the front seats vision.
*The bundle with the 2 IR headsets W/ transmitter is a good deal. You do not need the transmitter though as the Monitor already has one built. Reason I put this in is I did not read that on the box for some reason, until about 30 mins of trying to figure out how to wire in and mount (hide) the ugly transmitter did I finally notice it on the box (friend of mine read it & I felt stupid)
*There are no speakers on this unit you must use FM Modulator or Headsets

Installation
Here is what I did to install it if you are interested. I tried looking for something like this before I started but couldn't find anything anywhere. It was a fairly easy install and will save you a small bundle if you got some mechanical ability and a helping hand. Hope this helps.

Removed headliner, centered & riveted a metal mounting plate across 2 roof beams, used expanding foam on plate to reduce noise, robbed power from the overhead lights, cut small hole just right of mouting plate in headliner to drop power cord, reinstalled headliner & secured manufacturer mounting bracket to mounting plate. Here is my one complaint the screws to mount the montior to the bracket are too small. They should have screw studs attached to the mounting backet so you can nut it up, would have been a hell of a lot easier. I had a friend use 2 hole punches to center it and luckily I got one screw to finally catch. That was the hardest part of the hole project and really didnt need to be that difficult. Those little screws make me a little nervous so I'll eventually replace them bigger self tappers that go through the headliner to the mounting plate. It took me @ 6 hrs to complete and I couldn't be happier.

I have to admit i paid a little more than i would have liked and think it's something to be considered as this one leans toward the higher end, higher priced flip screen market. I made my decision after much research and a little constructive criticism...the main objective was to afford the flip screen once with no regrets or wishes.
Impeccable screen quality, very well built...the hinges roll smooth, very much like my laptop lid..this one allows for headphone use and stereo speaker sound around, the modulator and IR transmitter are awesome.
This was the best possible monitor i could find in this price range...it's everything i could expect and more, probably one you shouldn't miss.

This is nothing more than a re-release of many of the same badly remade TV themes from the mid-eighties albums entitled "Tee Vee Toons Presents..." series by TVT Records.

Many of these songs are replicated (horribly) with outdated keyboards and synthisizers. I find it sad that TV Guide would slap it's name on such a horrible compilation album such as this. For some unknown reason, companies that put together TV theme compilations think lovers of TV music won't care that they've included cheap remakes of there favorite theme songs!

If you can't get the original version, than don't put it on the album!

Another pet peeve, is that often times (like in here) they put the lesser popular version of the theme in as well. Example: They have the first season version of the Mary Tyler Moore theme "Love Is All Around". The arrangement and lyrics were different in this version than in the entire rest of the series. It's not the popular version.

People who put these together are not usually fans of TV themes and usually don't know what they are doing. Oh yeah, don't mix the long record version (usually not enough like the original to be recognizable) with the shorter TV versions!

Contrary to a previous review, many of these themes are remakes.
Just to name a few I Love Lucy, Dragnet, The Honeymooners, Alfred Hitchcock,Bewitched. But there are several that are original, such as Flinstones, Adams Family, Gilligans Island, Monkees, Brady Bunch, Six Feet under, and a few more. So this comp is touch and go. I have been collecting themes for 35 years, and I have never found a comp with ALL ORIGINAL THEMES.

tv guides 50 greatest themes is a nice package, what with its 50 card set included(i'm referring to the limited box edition) but to me fails in its failure to deliver what it advertises. alot of the early and mid period themes are NOT the original themes used on the tv shows and that is annoying to me. anyone over 35 who has ever seen the particular show the theme is for knows in 2 notes it is a modern rerecording. i don't care if the original themes sound quality isn't perfect, that original is what brings the memory back to the show. i'd like to know the reason these rerecorded "fake " themes are included here and secondly, why is this not stated anywhere here that many of these are not the original songs. i remember buying tvt's(the producer)tv theme albums in 1985 and having had the same letdown then as i do now. seventeen years later, steve gottlieb, the cd's producer, still can't find the original theme songs. if they can't get the rights, don't put them in here. how ridiculous is it to have someone other than batman & robin begin that theme. in my opinion , a full third to a half of the first 25 themes are not original , including i love lucy, dragnet, the andy griffith show, gilligan's island, batman, bewitched, hawaii five-o, mash, mission impossible and the honeymooners. i think tv guide should have monitored this a little better and only let tvt put in original themes. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Great deal from Amazon. (270 USD) with Amazon prime shipping. A lot cheaper compared with the other expensive ones in this tough economy.

Pros:

This one is a new version, March 2009 release.

1. In-Built Bluetooth works fine and plays music directly from Iphone without having to connect any wires to it. No hissing nor static noise in the back ground. Audio from Bluetooth is crystal clear.
2. Rear view camera(bought a 40 USD camera from Amazon and hooked it up by myself), DVD player, FM(16 presets), all works as advertised.
3. Cheaper (270 USD) when compared to Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD with Blue tooth which comes to atleast 420 USD.(with the steering wheel interface)
4. I got Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD (just for comparison) and this unit and tried both of them in my Honda Pilot to check how it works and did not see any difference in quality.
5. Bought a soldering Iron(15 USD) and soldered all the wires by myself. (saved 60 USD in installation charges).Instruction manual provided is more than sufficient to do it.
6. Prompt customer support via email when you register in their website.

I hope the quality of this product lasts for a long time.

Minor tweaks
------------
1. Connected the Dimmer to the parking brake to make the DVD play in the front panel as well.
2. Had to connect the rear view camera trigger wire to the back up light system.
3. Need to connect the rear view camera video output to the CAM input.

Cons:

1. 4 star rating because it does not have a steering wheel control Interface but to compensate for it they provide a wireless remote control.
2. Does not support SDHC or USB memory stick more than 2 GB.

BOTTOM LINE: If you have the money to buy one of the name brand 0 DVD/Bluetooth units, then buy one of those because their interface screen graphics are much nicer. If that's not an issue for you, or if spending over 0 for a head unit is, then consider this head unit.

This is my second review as the first unit came to me and turned on but did not play sound. Tech support was impossible to get ahold of the first time around. Props to Amazon for extremely speedy delivery of both the first and second replacement unit. Now, after receiving the replacement unit and installing it, the same problem occurred and it would not play sound. So I called tech support and surprisingly got right through this time. However the tech did not help and offered little support other than maybe there is a short in your vehicle or a blown fuse. After another hour of troubleshooting it myself I decided to swap the first unit's wiring harness with the new wiring harness. Problem solved! Turns out the issue with the first unit was a short somewhere in the wiring connector, which also affected the second unit because I originally left the first harness connected. Problem fixed by dumb luck and hours of frustration trying everything, not by tech support. For the speedy delivery of first & replacement unit, Amazon gets 5 stars. For lack of any help, Tech support gets 0/5 stars.

Contrary to what other reviews have said the unit DOES have a night time dimming function. Press and hold Mute button and the screen goes black. Perfect for night driving. When you want it back on to change a song or whatever, just simply tap the screen anywhere and it turns right back on. Furthermore the screen has contrast, color, brightness settings. You can turn the brightness almost completely off if you want to in about 2 seconds. tap screen, brings up display icons, tap Tools icon, tap Video icon, hold down Brightness adjustment. Simple.

Most everything can be done by remote, so if youre worried about safety of driving while changing songs, learn how to use the remote. Easy fix.

Interface graphics are cheesy like a 90s DOS program. Either get over it (I did considering this unit does everything it claims to, SD, USB, Auxilary, DVD/R, MP3, MP4, VCD, Bluetooth for hands free cell phone) or turn off the screen by holding the Mute button and use the remote or turn the screen back on to change songs or whatever and then shut it off.

Loading times are as advertised in other reviews, about 4-6 seconds for a video DVD, less for a CD. Switching sources take 2-4 seconds. Does seem like forever waiting 6 seconds for the DVD to load, but once it does load it skips scenes and/or tracks quickly.

The sound quality beats my old Aiwa top-of-line CD player (10 years ago), and rivals my previous Alpine & Kenwood head units. Also beats a previous Pioneer head unit I had for a few weeks in sound quality hands down, which is why I got rid of that one. I was skeptical buying a Boss brand head unit specifically because of sound quality, but I'm glad I bought it. Forget what some of the others have said, this thing beats any comparable <0 CD or DVD head unit on the market. Yes even a 0 Sony or JVC.

I have two 6.5" Lanzar MAXP64 subwoofers (not co-axial speakers) in my doors powered by this unit, and two Pioneer 4x6" co-axials in the stock rear pillars with Stinger SGJ91 300Hz bass blockers also powered by this unit and it sounds fantastic. Not breaking any records at the DB Drags, but the head unit puts out enough power for the MAXP64's to shake the mirrors, and with the bass blockers on the co-axials it does it VERY clearly. Very satisfied with the power and clarity with this head unit. I had originally planned to put an amp on the subs and add another pair of co-axials to be powered by the head unit, but I don't need to now because it already sounds great, any more power would be overkill for what I want my radio to do.

Other problems some of the 1* reviews have mentioned are, after experiencing my own problem, possibly caused by an easily replaceable faulty wiring harness. Like not working and having to turn the car on and off, sounds like it could be a similar harness issue like mine had. Then again, it could be a quality of build issue, I don't know for sure, but I'm skeptical after finding a problem first hand with the harness.

This unit is deeper than standard oem double-din radios, meaning stock radios, however this is common of most aftermarket double-din units. In my Silverado I had to remove part of a plastic bracket in the dash before it would fit. 2 minutes with a dremmel and problem solved. If you have a true double-din opening, this unit will fit, but MIGHT require some DIY ingenuity.

I looked for quite a while to find a reasonable priced double din chassis radio replacement for my work van. This unit had the most features for the cheapest price. It has performed fair. The interface is a little cheesy and it is slow to respond. I would like to reserve the deepest depths of hell for whoever put the auto re-memerize your radio station buttons on the main radio screen. A useless feature that is by no means created by or exclusive to Boss. Anyway, other than that the unit performs fair. It's slow to switch from usb to radio, or to bluetooth. Considering the price of around 0 it's OK, just OK. In retrospect I wish I had spend around 0 and installed a unit with a better interface and a little smoother operation.

I did have some wiring harness issues however the tech support at Boss was excellent. If you have a problem with the unit don't hesitate to call support. Check the depth on your dash first, this unit requires extra room if your using the RCA connections on the back for audio video out or camera video in.

In all, don't think your getting a 0+ unit for cheap. It's worth about 0. If you have reasonable expectations this unit will meet them.

It is really awesome for my ps3, i got it for my tablet but it requires a password to hook it up to a tablet and the directions don't say what the password is so i am very displeased. I would give it five stars if i could find out the password.

I was not aware, when I ordered this product, how incredibly SMALL this product is! I don't see the purpose of having a keyboard of this size. It's not big enough to use the touch type method and yet it is too big to use thumb entry. I, personally, can't see a good use of this product. Also, unlike the title included in the product description IT DOES NOT WORK WITH VIZIO 8 inch Tablet. I sent mine back.

It would be a great product if it was a full-size or near full-size keyboard.

This keyboard initially worked ok, though the keys are incredibly small and dificult to depress. Typing on it, I often made mistakes due to delays between depression and key response and integrity of the contact to actuallly type the letter. I was often 3 words ahead before the typing showed up. Slowing typing to the keyboard's capability helped and I adjusted. However, even though this keyboard is mainly kept flat when I'm not using it, only 6mo later I cannot type anything. It's like the keyboard has a mind of it's own typing keys I'm not depressing repeating keys at a rate of about 20 per second, erasing them as fast and repeating them again. I do not even have to touch the keyboard more than once for it to go on this rampage. Needless to say at this point it's completely useless. I leave for Thailand in 2 weeks and need a water proof keyboard. Now I have to get another one. Rediculous.

I'm not the most tech orintated person but this device works well for me. It was easy to connect and the speaker is clear to both myself and my audience. I like the fact that this device connects up to 2 phones at a given time. This is a great option when you and your spouse each have cell phones.

This is indeed a good product. It is highly recommended for persons who do not like or are uncomfortable with bluetooth headsets in their ears. The speaker is loud and clear however depending on which network the person calls me from one network has more clarity than the other. THE person on the receiving end can hear me very clear as if I am actually on my phone. No distinction can be made between speaking through the car kit and on the actually phone. It paired very easily with my blackberry 8900 and BLU phone. Once you leave your vehicle and are out of range, the speaker turns itself off. On returning to the car, once your phone's bluetooth is on and the speaker is turned on, it automatically connects with your phone. Lastly I have not charged the kit since i began using it almost a month ago and it hasnt lost charge and I talk alot on my phone. Very good product

Good unit and It's working well for past one week. It is much quiter compare to earlier models. Need the hose to be connected since my unit gave bucket full error when there was about 10% water in the bucket. Value product and love the unit. I tried many humidifiers and found that Danby is much better manufacturer.

Really QUIET, can't even hear the compressor turn on and off, all ya hear is the blower fan, real nice. Much better than my previous unit which only lasted 6 years a Dayton from Grainger. Also China made, ain't they all? For these type. It works great so far, dried out my basement in less than a day from not having one on for a week or so, after my previous one died, and it looks like it wasn't drying for a long time before. This Danby works great!
Only thing I don't understand is the non standard water drain fitting, my garden hose didn't screw onto it, like on all my previous units. The supplied hose is kinda short, so I had to relocate till I get an extension hose for it.
2 year Warranty! QUIET, ...the fan keeps running when it's plugged in and on, whether it's running compressor or not, odd? Maybe it keeps air circulating, but my last one turned off, but the one before that also kept fan running, so who knows which is better, I would think off saves a few penny in juice, but constant air flow in cellar keep stability air temp humidity? Lets see how long this lasts, it's GREAT so far QUIET, effective. Amazon had best price for this unit also, when you factor shipping and tax. Amazon always wins! My business. They always seem to have the item I am looking for, incredible

I ordered this Amazon Prime item on Tuesday night @ 11:30pm and received it on Thursday! Kudos to Amazon Prime... The item shipped in it's normal box and damage was a concern, but there was none. It was hooked up and running very quickly. Definately the quietest Dehumidifier I have ever had. The fan is the only noise it makes. It doesnt sound like an old refrigerator running like the old LG it replaced.

Within 12 hours it took my 1500 sq/ft basement from 57% humidity to 45% humidity. I would say that's a

I was so disappointed when Revlon discontinued my favorite long wear lip color, Color Stay Overtime Sheer, that decided to try the Outlast Double Lipshine. I was not disappointed, in fact, I like this better than the Colorstay Sheer. The consistency of the lip color is better, and it looks a bit more natural on than the Revlon. There was no flaking problem either, not even 10 hours later. Still looks just put on.

The gloss looks wonderful on, too, but I did not care for the short sponge applicator. The gloss lasts a long time, but does need to be reapplied once or twice during the day. I also like that the gloss is not goopy and shellac-like.

I chose the color, Glowing #300, to match my old Revlon color, Sheer Rosette. (It's a warm, but muted, medium rose color). There is a very slight frost to the Double Lip Shine which make the color appear more dimensional and less flat on the lip. I think it's more natural.

That 70's Show came out screaming at a point in my life when I needed it most. Eric Foreman and Donna Pinciotti, were my boyfriend, Terry and myself hanging out in the basement of his mom & dad's house with a variety of friends with personalities much like Michael Kelso, Steven Hyde, Jackie Berkhart, and Eric's naughty sister Laurie...Fez, however, did not exist but the rest of the first season was dead bang and more like a memory than a sit-com. In 1976, as the stage is set in season 1, I was 14 years old and seeing all the life-learning wacky, goofy experiences the characters live out is extremely humerous and more like a trip down memory lane. Like Hyde, there was always somebody around with " a whole big bag of love ". Without much more than Packman, pinball or foosball for entertainment, we had to change the channel on the tv by hand, too. The soundtrack of songs are true to the era, as well. I remember the drive-in theater, and my daughter, who is 20, only knows what a drive-in is from watching tv. These are just a few examples but now that it's the end of 2005 and as the characters grow and change, NOW I find myself relating more to Red & Kitty ( Eric's parents ) and/or Bob & Midge ( Donna's parents )!!! All I know is it's awsome to go back in time and experience the nostalgia and adolescent situations that bring back a time for me when things were so much simpler, the grass was greener and the sky so much more blue. With no disrespect intended for the rest of the season, which is so unexpected and fresh, I never fail to laugh no matter how many times I watch Season 1, disc 1, episodes 1 & 2, which are in my oppinion the VERY BEST of That 70's Show and the heart of what it was really like to grow up in the '70's! :)

I really enjoy this series. The entire cast is excellent and complements each other. This is one of the few series I look forward to, both new and reruns.

This first release of That 70s show on DVD contains all of the episodes of its first season. All 25 episodes are contained on 4 disks. It is full frame and list at 575 minutes.

Episodes:

1) That `70s Pilot - Red gives Eric the keys to the Vista Cruiser and tells him he can go anywhere but out of town but of course they go out of town.

2) Eric's Birthday - The last think Eric wants on his birthday is a party but he gets one anyway.

3) Streaking - President Ford comes to town and the boys decide to streak. Red is selected to ask the President a question.

4) Battle of the Sexists - Eric feels less that a man when he loses a game of basketball to Donna.

5) Eric's Burger Job - Eric gets a job at Fatso burger.

6) The Keg - Eric and Donna skip a day of school and find Hyde and Fes in the back seat of the car. While driving down the road they find a keg of beer.

7) That Disco Episode - Kitty teaches Hyde how to dance.

8) Drive In - Eric and Donna go to the drive-in.

9) Thanksgiving - Laurie comes home for Thanksgiving.

10) Sunday, Bloody Sunday - Red's mother comes for a Sunday visit and drives everyone crazy, except for Fes.

11) Eric's Buddy - Eric has a new friend and Kelso and Hyde can't stand it.

12) The Best Christmas Ever - Red give Eric to get a tree but he keeps the money and cuts down a tree from beside the road.

13) Ski Trip - The gang goes to Jackie's cabin for the weekend. Kelso is uninvited when Jackie finds out he was fooling around with Pam Macy. Kelso show up anyway.

14) Stolen Car - Eric scratches the car and Red takes away the keys. Kelso get a car from his cousin and they get arrested for having a stolen car.

15) That Wrestling Show - Kitty "forces" Eric and Red to become friends. So the gang, Red and Bob go to a wrestling show.

16) First Date - Eric and Donna have their first date. Donna gets drunk and Hyde show up and tells Donna how he feels about her.

17) The Pill - Jackie thinks she may be pregnant.

18) Career Day - The gang spends career day with their parents.

19) Prom Night - Eric gets a motel room for him and Donna but nothing happens. Hyde takes Jackie because Kelso is out with Pam Macy.

20) A New Hope - The boys go to see Star Wars. Kelso is so impressed that he even says no to sex with Jackie just to see it again.

21) Water Tower - The boy's paint a giant pot leaf on the water tower and Kelso falls off. After coming home Eric runs upstairs to get his mother, to look at Kelso arm, and finds his parents having sex.

22) Punk Chick - Hyde meets a girl and tries to convince him to go to New York.

23) Grandma's Dead - Eric is driving his grandmother home and she dies. We also get to meet Red's brother.

24) Hyde Moves In - Hyde moves in with the Foreman's.

25) The Good Son - Now that Hyde has moved in he has become the preferred son and Red's war buddy (Mitch Pileggi from the X-Files) returns and he turns out to be a swinger.

Frist, I would like to say that it is about time for "that 70's show" to be released on dvd. With seven seasons of "friends" and shows like, "all in the family", and "MASH" in second or third seasons, it's great to see a more recent show being realesed on dvd. I guess the producers have finally learned that people will pay for season to season of their favorite show's.

The show is terrific, the first season has great episodes like 'eric's first job', and 'the pill', and who could forget the pilot, pass it this way, puff puff give. Nothing like network television finally acknowledging bud smoking in prime time.

Even though I think the second and third seasons are the best; season one is a great start. Buy this dvd you will not be disappointed.

This headunit is a great value. It does everything it says. For the price you can't beat it. When I first ordered it I was kinda nervous; My biggest concern was picture quality. I expected it to be very pixeled because of the low price and lower name brand. But the picture is great! The only thing that this unit doesn't have that higher end units do is GPS. But you can purchase an upgraded model that does. I don't need it since I have GPS in my Droid-x. The installation was a breeze. For anyone with any experience, it was very self explanatory. The manual is horrible as others said because it is translated from another language but all the wires are very clearly marked. There is a safety feature on this unit so that you can't watch video while driving. I thought it defeated the purpose of buying this unit; since I wanted video for my pasengers to watch while I drive. But don't worry it is VERY easy to bypass. All you must do is connect the pink "parking brake" wire to ANY ground on your vehicle. I must mention that this is illegal in the US so therefore I'm not telling you to do it. By the way I found a crappier unit in walmart that didn't have all the features this one has and it was 0 more! So definitely a great buy in my opinion. Oh, 1 more thing. I was a lil nervous playing a dvd while driving because I'm in the process of redoing the suspension in the truck that I have this installed in. So the ride is VERY rough and bumpy right now. BUT, my DVD NEVER skipped so far. Not even once. Hope this helps! Thank you everyone else for your feedback I really appreciate it to help me make informed buying decisions.

Basically Pyle is one of your respected "Brand-X" manufacturers.
Compared to all the baseline models having these features, you're getting the same exact features and quality the major commercial name brands give you for 0+ more.

Good touch screen, good EQ options with a super bass mode and loudness control. More than ample ins and outs on the rear deck. Plenty of power but obviously outboard amps are a necessity these days. Great radio reception, I grab all my favorite city based radio stations just about anywhere I go which is from up to 50+ miles away. Remote has plenty of interface controls. Disc loading is fast, aux, USB/SD reading is instant and plays Divx the same it would off disc.
All your settings menus are incredibly thorough as well, lots of options to suit any of your needs.

My only complaint is to put the SD card in, you have to pop the face place off. Beyond that it's a really good baseline unit for the money. Much better than my Jensen bought a couple years earlier.

For the money it has thoroughly earned 5 stars.

Use the picture settings in my Review listed at the end and the Samsung un55d7000 will look awesome. First off I notice major black light bleed out of the box & even after tweaking the TV on my own until I found the right settings from a other users.

What I really like about this tv is that my playstation 3 is synced with the tv. My tv come's on when the playstation is turned on and I can control my ps3 with my Samsung remote nice feature. The tv is nice a thin not very heavy. The 2d to 3d conversion is total crap some stuff looks good but for the most part it's a BIG gimmick. Movies & stuff filmed in 3D look amazing sometimes it's a hit & miss. So far my favorite 3d movies are : ( Monsters Vs Aliens ) ( avatar ) ( Despicable me ) Resident evil looked like crap & I really didn't like monster house. I am hoping the studios will improve 3D filming and make live action films pop out more. I tried some playstation 3 games in 3d I like the idea but WoW it really makes your eyes hurt after awhile.

Setting up the tv was pretty easy I did found setting up the wireless on the Tv to be a real pain. I am pretty good with computers and wireless network it was still a pain. I have a netgear router and I was not able to link it with normal settings the tv kept saying my pass word was wrong password ended up doing the button method on my router and samsung tv. Right away the Tv found the router and no more issues.

Now for the calibration settings that will make your set look amazing and reduce the famous Samsung clouding issue and black light bleeding which I couldn't stand until this ! Make sure you have a hdmi 1.4 cable I did notice a issue with my old hdmi cable and the 1.4 cable solved the slow lag, any cheap one will do as long as it's 1.4

Make sure you select each color in the color space and enter them like above. These setting where produced from a computer calibration. You may need to add a little or less depending on your room. If you don't like the setting simple reset your picture but honestly you will notice a HUGE difference right away with just these settings.

I'm going to cut down to the chase.

The TV has so many good features (especially design) that are too many to list, thus, I will focus on the two things I have encountered that I know someone else might have experienced or will experience and are rather disappointing...but don't lose your hopes just yet!

1) Backlight bleeding - My TV came set up for 'store' usage mode, instead for 'home', which increases the bleeding drastically.
Changing to 'home' is quite challenging so you have to read the manual. After I changed the usage mode to 'home', it decreased considerably but was still noticeable.
I visited some forums, websites, and some even advised to put pressure on the screen with my fingers (until I see the screen changing colors), etc, but nothing seemed to work.
I decided to contact Samsung support and they advised me to change PICTURE MODE to 'STANDARD' and adjust the 'BACKLIGHT' to the value of '7'. The support guy/girl mentioned to leave this setting on for 3 weeks. After the three weeks, I should be able to change to any picture mode and to any value for the backlight. Finally, it was mentioned that if I did not see any changes, that a service ticket needs to be placed at this link (you will need to register your TV with Samsung): [...]
I made the change today 4/15/2011 so I will wright another review within 3 weeks to let you know the end results.

2) Sound stops working - I only have a PS3 and a DirecTV satellite box connected to the TV via HDMI cables (hight speed and 3D capable). I have noticed the TV produces no sound for like 1 second and then gradually comes back at a lower volume until it reaches the original volume. I have also noticed it only happens when the picture is set to 'STANDARD' and have only noticed it when the source is the DirecTV box.
I do not run the PS3 on standard mode so I can't compare, but I will do so and pay attention to the results.

In summary, I have to wait for the 3 weeks picture test, and also test the sound using the PS3 source on standard mode.

I know it's a hassle but for a TV that costs over 00, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get a "perfect" picture and normal working sound (although you would not expect to do this since you are paying a lot of money)

...And if you got this TV from Paul'sTV (whether by Amazon's reseller program or directly from them) expect to pay 15% restocking fee and 0 shipping if you plan to return it.

Hope this helps and please post any questions/comments you may have, and I will try to answer them as soon as possible.

I just got the TV in today, and from I experience so far is that this TV is amazing.

Black level is great! One of the best I seen so far.

Internet connection is great on the TV. Very useful for watching Netflix.
The qwerty remotes that came with my TV is very useful for web browsing, but don't expect the browser to be like normal computer browser because it is very bad, slow, hard to navigate, and cumbersome.

For gaming, in my opinion, there is no lag if you turn off the picture enhancements options, and also turning on the game mode. I would say the lag on the TV would be probably somewhere between 30-50ms.

3D is great! I watched Shrek 3D, and it's just stunning. A major improvement from last year model. I probably will buy Tron 3D, and see it on the TV soon.

Cons: HDMI input is located on the side. Clouding & Flashlighting that can be seen in dark screen.

Update: After 2 weeks of having the TV I noticed some flash lighting / clouding that can be seen in pitch black room. Not a big deal at first, but overtime I am starting to be annoyed by it. I am thinking of getting it exchange for higher end model. Therefore I am rating the TV 3/5 stars. If would be a solid 5 stars if there is no flaw.

Update 2: Returned my set and bought 46" Sony HX929.

First of all right out of the package they look expensive. They do not look cheaply made and the matte black coloring and shape of these headphones is pleasing to the eye.

From the top down:

The headband is approximately two inches wide and covered even on the top with some type of soft to the touch material. The underside of the headband is very well padded and the padding extends almost down to the hinge where the earpieces are connected to the headpiece. The padding is nice and squishy, but not so much that you can feel the hardness underneath. The thickness of the padding is approximately 3/4 of an inch thick.

These earphones are very light, I've been wearing them all day with no neck fatigue, or headache from too much pressure around the ears.

The tension of the headband is enough to hold the earphones on my head, but they rest comfortably without pressure around my ears.

The hinges where the earpieces meet the body are made from some type of heavy duty, hard plastic(I don't know the technical name for it). The hinges are nice and thick. They look well made and able to take a lot of use.

The earpieces:

The shape is sort of an elongated oval. They are lined all the way around by padding that is approximately 3/4 of an inch thick, and one inch wide, and they're covered by the same velvety soft material as the headband padding. This padding feels wonderful against the skin. The padding that touches the skin is flattened to fit against the head better, giving these headphones excellent sound squelching qualities.

The inside of each earpiece is oval in shape and the inside depth is between 1/2 and inch and 3/4 of an inch. The inside wells that hold the speakers are covered with some type of soft fabric as well.
The holes under the fabric where the speakers are located are shifted slightly toward the back side of the ear pieces.

The outside housing is a some type of matte black high density plastic, and the R and L on each one is molded into the plastic rather than being painted on so that it won't rub off eventually.

The hinges:
Move smoothly and easily. There are two sets of them. One allows the earpieces to be rotated out when they're being worn, so outside noises or conversation can be heard without taking them completely off. They're made of matte black high density plastic also. They're nice and thick, and the part that attaches the earpieces to the headband meets the headband smoothly. If you didn't know the seam was there, you'd probably miss it. Each earpiece can be rotated out to the front approximately 180 degrees, and to the back considerably less.

The other set of hinges are the same color and material, and they fit sleekly against the earpieces in their own grooves, giving the earpieces a smooth appearance when on the head. There is nothing sticking out, and it's very aesthetic. When they're on the head the hinges and earpieces look like they're all one piece. I don't know who designed them, but whoever it is they're smart, LOL.

The Cord:

Runs from the left earpiece, and is not reinforced at the point it meets the earpiece. The cord is very long and has a nice thickness to it. It's not flimsy at all. If you don't need the length, I suggest tying it up with a zip it, or something similar, to keep it out of the way. I like the length personally. If you're like me and you forget you're wearing these headphones and get out of your chair to get something it doesn't pull everything off the shelf:D

The cord terminates in a 1/4 stereo plug, and is reinforced at the back end of the plug with a flexible metal spring that's approximately an inch long. The plug itself is textured for easy gripping.

If you're going to use these headphones for your: computer, tv, portable CD player or whatever. You're going to need to buy a 3.5 mm adapter because these headphones don't come with one in the box, like some of the other Audio Tecnica headphones.

But it's easy to find an adpater, and not much hassle. You can buy adapter kits. There is an adapter kit with four different sizes of adapters, right here on Amazon for 5.00 or so. Sound and audio stores should have them as well as electronics stores, I think even Wally World has them. Radio Shack has a kit that's a little different from the one here on Amazon, but it still has four different sized adapters. Just make sure you get a stereo to stereo adapter, not stereo to mono adapter.

Isolation:

These really do a good job. When I'm listening to music I don't hear anything else unless the sound is extremely loud.

The sound:

First things first. These are not for kids who wanna listen to all their hardcore screamo death metal at earsplitting volumes. These are not for people who have a 1000 watt sub in their car. These are not for people who take music casually.

These are for recording.

I don't claim to be an expert on what good headphones sound like. I've never had the money to try some 500 dollar audiophile phones. I am a very active musician; I run a studio in my bedroom and my bands practice room. I've been recording in my bedroom for about four years. I use Adobe Audition 2 as my main recording software.

The Audio-Technica ATH M40fs headphones are THE BEST headphones I have ever heard. I'm sure they're not the best in the world. They're just the best I've used, and I'm pretty sure they're the best for the price.

With these headphones I can hear subtleties and nuances that I never believed possible. I can hear breath noise on the flute intro to Yanni's Deliverance. I can hear the bass on Dreamgirl by Dave Matthews without it beng muddy. I can hear the rumbling lows on the intro to The Battle from the Chronicles of Narnia Soundtrack. These headphones are not bassy, nor are they harsh on the mids, they're not overly trebly either. They are very flat as far as I can tell. I love that I can hear all the different parts to music without any of them being over-emphasized.

The downfall to these phones is that they let you hear ALL of the flaws in your own music; it's kind of depressing. If you want to sound like an amazing pro musician just by buying a new pair of headphones...look elsewhere, if you want to hear your mistakes so you can improve, and don't wanna spend a month's paycheck...then these are for you.

The thing that mainly attracted me to these headphones was the frequency range which was wider than the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's that I originally wanted. On top of that, the price was 40 dollars lower; hard to pass up.

Another feature that makes these worth your while is the Field Replaceable parts. I don't know about you, but I don't have the money to buy a new set of headphones if my cable wears out.

These have pretty good isolation. They won't block as much sound as earplugs but they block enough to keep your sound pretty pure.

If you want to hear your music in a way that you never have then buy these headphones.

These headphones sound great.

Unfortunately, like some other headphones, these are not comfortable to wear for several hours at a time. There's not enough clearance between the center of the cups and the foam that goes around the ears, such that the center of the cups press on the outer ear lobes. This becomes painful after a while.

I've stretched the headphones apart several times. This helps but I shouldn't have to do this and I'm afraid that they might snap in two.

There is less than 1/2 inch of clearance for the ear lobes when they're on the head. I'd gladly pay an extra or for headphone manufacturers to not be so cheap with the amount of foam they put around the ears. The earphones could still be sealed against the head even if there were another inch of foam. This would make them so much more comfortable.

Update: I've had these headphones for three years now. Although I haven't used them much, the part of the cups that fit against the head are flaking and peeling off. I had a pair of Sonys with the same problem (low-quality material).

The bars could use a few more, yet smaller LED's for a more uniformed color. While adding an interesting look, most 50" style TV's will probably need more than 2 bars for the right "look", additionally the connectors are somewhat flimsy. Out of the box my connection to the power adapter is loose and the slightest vibration will cause it to lose power.

I love this product!!! Samsung has slammed it totally out of the park with the ES7500.... I think the picture quality is stellar, I don't see any of the bleeding/cloudyness etc that I hear people complain about. I did need to tweak the judder and blur reduction settings so movies didn't lose their depth of field, but overall this TV is amazing... I would highly recommend this to anyone! When I was at the store I looked at the ES8000 also, but honestly I couldn't see a difference in PQ... I guess the 8000 has micro uber dimming or something, but to me the 7500 has it all anyways, so I'm stoked....

Voice control is awesome, touch remote takes some getting used to, but is very cool, and the TV is sooo sexy... I'll try to take a picture or two and upload them for others to see...

Only bad note, the gesture control doesn't really work (but I didn't care about that feature)....oh that the whole thing with Amazon VOD still stinks, but hey I think this is the best TV you can buy for under 00....

3/23 Update.... I've added a photo for you to see... Its not the best, but I can you that unless you have the brightness blown out on the screen, there is no bleeding from the corners, which is the complaint I read about all the time.... maybe other folks like it brighter than me, but whatever, its an awesome screen!

3/25 Update.... Watched Tron 3d (or part of it).... WOW!!! The 3D on the Tv is as good or better than cinema 3d.... I only watched 20 minutes or so, but I did not feel eye strain setting in... in fact over time it felt like I was just watching my tv normally, like the 3d was supposed to be there all the time. On a sad note, I had to turn off the voice control, because the tv was taking commands from its own programming... :) it almost turned itself off while I was watching Amazing Race for some reason.... got all the way to the final "OK" before I scrambled for the remote and canceled.... maybe that needs some work still...but the picture quality is shockingly good.

i have owned this tv for 1 and 1/2 weeks now and i have to say i love it. the picture quality is unbelievable. i replaced a toshiba 52 inch 4 thousand dollar tv, which 4 years ago when bought was top of the line. i thought i was watching a great picture,which i was, but this tv puts it to shame. i agree with some of the reviews i have seen that say, the picture is so sharp that it almost looks like it was shot on video instead of film. looks awsome. i have had no problem with light bleeding in from the edges or any other picture problems at all. i have watched the tv in a totally dark room with a very dark image on the screen to test for light bleeding and none seen at all. the 3d looks amazing on movies and my ps3 video games,even the 2d to 3d conversion looks pretty good. blu-ray movies look unbelievable. even older tv shows shot in th 4:3 aspect ratio look very good on hi def channel and non hi-def channels. the tv seems to process these programs very well. the gesture control does need improvement. my room is fairly well lit and during set up it says it still does not have enough light, yet when i use the skype app, the camera looks very good and bright in the same lighting, so they need to work on this. the voice control works well with the smart remote but just to talk to tv without the remote it seems to struggle to hear me. not a big problem because i use the remote any way. to me it is just a feature to show off tech to your friends any way. also if you have your tv on and they say something on tv that sounds like a command it brings up the voice control menu. it has happened 4 times to me, so at this time i just have the voice control off. i was also surprised that the sound from the tv speakers sound as good as they do, being that the tv is so slim. but they actually sound very good. so based on picture quality and the 3d quality and tv styling (it looks so cool and slim) and the ability to upgrade with the evolution kit(in the future) i have to give 5 stars. hopefully in future updates they will be able to improve the voice and gesture controls. and if not, its still a great tv that i would highly recommend.

I've had the TV for a month now and I can't get over how great the picture quality is, both in 3D and 2D. Gesture control and Voice Control takes some time to get used to...it's not as sensitive as the Wii or like-devices. Other than the bells and whistles that you're basically paying for, there is one major drawback that I'm having a heck of a time fixing/figuring out (because Samsung customer support is convinced it's user-error; which it could very well be...but as a warning to others please read on): major networking issues.

I have it hooked up to my home network and all seems great in terms of playing vides/music/pictures via router, however, the TV's firmware wants to constantly update and stay connected, thus it automatically shuts off randomly and turns back on; no matter what input you have the TV on. A major annoyance. I unhooked it from my home network and all is fine now, just sucks that I can't enjoy one of the major reasons why I bought the TV. So be warned if you're buying this TV for not just the great picture but for the versatility of using it as an extension to your home network.

Mine came in Saturday the 18th so only one day later than promised. I'm OK with that. Spent the day playing around with it. I lead an enterprise mobility team and lab for a Fortune 500 company and have access to a lot of the bleeding edge technology coming from vendors these days (except Apple who doesn't share much).

I have to say this thing is excellent. It is big. It fits in one hand for me but being a musician I'm used to stretching my fingers and such so it was no biggie for me. I could see how someone with smaller hands might have trouble using it one handed. Even with my finger stretch I was worried about holding it just in one hand.
I live in an area where AT&T is just now rolling LTE and it isn't anywhere near me but I was getting close to 8Mb down and 1.5 Mb up yesterday in a few areas. The notification bar showed 4G but not 4GLTE so I'm assuming it is HSPA+. (???)
GPS is fantastic. Works like a charm. No problems with Wi-Fi at all and getting great speeds on it.

I really like the S Pen. So many have said "the stylus is dead". Well I have to say after using an iPad and iPad 2 with a capacitive pen and loving Penultimate to the point of no longer taking paper notes (until my work iPad bit the dust) I like taking notes electronically. I have tried every mainstream Android tablet out there in my lab or in stores with good pens and none are that great. Just not good. Until I tried the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet. It has a "stylus" type pen (digitizer) and an app (Notes Mobile ... man I wish they would release for all Android devices not just Lenovo and iOS) that is just out of this world. it got me back to thinking that a stylus is the way to go for accurate note taking and ultimately got me thinking about the Samsung Note.

All that to be said I am fairly impressed. The S Pen is very accurate in its capture of my writing and drawing. It is fast and smooth with not "catches" or "snags" in the writing. Very well done hardware wise. Software wise I am NOT impressed. The handwriting recognition is so Palm. :-) It is only about 50% accurate with my handwriting when trying my best. The Notes Mobile with Lenovo was probably 90% accurate with my WORST handwriting and it converted LIVE on the page as I was writing. It was FANTASTIC. Bottom line on the S Pen ... great hardware ... not so great software.

The screen. Oooohhhhh the screen. I am in love. Yes ... the screen is simply AMAZING. The color is great, the viewing angles are good. I have a Kindle Touch for reading as I've never found another device as light, comfortable, yet big enough to read (as I am a prolific reader). I would have to say the Samsung Note is pushing the envelope. If battery life is good enough to get me through a six hour flight (in airplane mode) or several days of average use then I'm sold and might not need the Kindle. The text with the Kindle app (and in general) is sharp and very easy to read. Video is just astounding.

Performance wise the device is very good. I know there were concerns that the performance of the AT&T (US) Snapdragon 1.5 GHz CPU wouldn't hold up to the 1.4 GHz Exynos that was in the non-US devices. I can't compare the two but the benchmarks I've seen online do show that difference. All I can say is that this is my third Android (had iPhones and WinMobile before that) and it outperforms anything else and has handled all of the 3D games and such I throw at it so unless you are going to be doing massive 3D rendering on this thing (HA) I wouldn't worry about it.

Sound is good. Being a musician I like to take a lot of music with me and the sound has been more than sufficient so far. I haven't tried recording on it yet with my audio interface for Android but let's hope it is quiet. I do like the music app that is included better than others I've used on both Android and iOS. I have am not a fan of bloatware but so far the apps have been useful. I wasn't a fan of TouchWiz when I first saw it on other devices but as other reviewers have state with the extra screen real-estate I think this implementation is nice. I'm VERY much looking forward to ICS on this device if AT&T doesn't take a year to get it to us. I think the "phablet", "phoblet" or "phone tablet" (whatever you want to call it) implementation is nice and ICS would probably work well on this form factor.

Overall build quality is good. Even the plastic back feels OK compared say to the Infuse. I've ordered an oleophobic screen protector that has good reviews with the S Pen and a "case" that goes over the back to protect it but that's it for now until I get used to it. Just want to protect it at this point. The buttons for volume and power / sleep feel nice and solid and comparable to other devices I've had and tested in my lab.

So overall it seems to be a fantastic device. This will be my main device now so we'll see how she holds up under heavy use and handling. Very... Read more

Design

It's a big phone for but if there's one thing you should be aware of, it's the back. The back can be slippery, I don't recommend letting people who aren't careful hold it or pick it up. My phone has already been dropped, on the back from a short distance to the ground.

The actual design of the phone is in my opinion is A+. The phone is pretty slim for such a big battery and screen size. The only physical button, the Power button is located on the right side. It's pretty much a giant Samsung Skyrocket with a stylus. It feels great in my hand(s) and I have normal sized hands. My personal preference for color is white.

Performance

I played with it for a few hours and screen is pretty responsive. I watched a netflix movies and 1080p films over wifi, which were beautiful. The processor seems to move just as fast the one in the skyrocket. There's no lag and handles everything well. South Florida should get 4g next month but HspA+ is enough. 5 to 8 down, 3 to 6 up.

Accessories to buy

I recommend getting a TPU hard gel case with a kickstand.(Not sure if the ones with the stands on amazon)
Leather case for your waist that goes through the belt.
Screen protector

Other thoughts on this phone

Many say you can't use this phone with one hand but why would I want to use it with one hand? (Outside of making a phone call) It better not be for texting and driving. This phone is great for web browsing, watching movies and have fun. This phone is a fun phone and stylus isn't bad.

If you think this phone is too big answer a call and use your ear, then go buy an In-hear Microphone or Bluetooth. I can't give personal experience about the battery life yet until I return my skyrocket. I can tell you that even with JuiceDefender(Battery saver) the skyrocket barely makes it through the the day. This should easily.

Update*

Today I got to test battery without modifying any of the settings. 6 or 7 hours later I'm 25% with extremely heavy usage. This is with facebook, 2 emails pushing and heavy browsing.

Update 2
Battery will last the entire the day with normal useage despite the huge power hungry screen. I watched a few movies and NBA Games. The big 5.3 screen on this phone is just impressive. A few of my co-workers thought the phone was too big until I showed them a few videos. I also don't have any issues holding the phone with one hand.

I am a gadget geek and love to try new electronics. I have been using an iPhone since the 3GS came out, and no matter what phone I tried, I always went back within a few days- Backflip, Tilt, Blackberry Bold, HTC Inspire to name a few.
I ordered the Note from Amazon Wireless, as it was cheaper than AT&T. I haven't played with it as much as I'd like to (not a good idea to order a groovy new phone in the middle of finals), but am so far beyond impressed with it. I haven't even missed my iPhone.
Texting and emailing is much easier due to the size of the screen, and it only took a couple of days to get used to the larger size.
The speaker doesn't seem quite up to par with the iPhone, but is far superior to the Inspire. The screen is just plain beautiful, and the touch interface is outstanding. Setting it up with my ringtones, pictures and whatnot was a breeze, and the battery life has been great- two days between charges.
The internet is lightning fast and blows the iPhone internet out of the water- the Note is great for work or play.
I honestly didn't think I'd find a phone that could come close to the iPhone, I was wrong. Excellent job Samsung, I am impressed.

When we purchased the tv there were no reviews as it had not even hit the market. so we took a chance hoping new technology is always better than any old one. We had a budget of under 650$ and I had some basic requirements like a HD input and USB ports. We have been using the tv for a little less than 3 weeks now.

PROS
The tv is packed with intelligent technology like light sensor to match the lighting of the screen to that of the room for comfortable viewing and clear sound i guess to make the levels of dialogues stand out from background noise in movies.

The tv has a very quick refresh rate.. reduces the stress on the eyes if you are a TV surfer.

It is extremely simple to operate.. one would think that latest tech came with complicated controls.. but the remote and the control options put you at ease immediately.

There are two HD input slots for your cable box and your PS/Xbox etc..

CONS
Now this is a BIG one and has me upset to no end. The USB reads only music and pictures. It doesn't play movies etc. One of the main reasons for me to purchase the TV was that and it let me down.

So if you think you don't need the USB like I do, then you have no reason to shy away from this TV.

Amazingly clear picture quality. Not 'jumpy' at all. The colors are clear and vibrant. The sound is ok, but there is no audio output to allow connecting a sound bar or exterior speakers (at least that we have found), so we will be returning it. We have purchased a comparable Samsung model for the same price that does have audio output. Bummer. This is a spectacular TV for the size and price.

I really like this TV for around 0. It is fairly good looking from the front and sides meaning it bezel is small and its thickness is pretty low for a TV this cheap. This makes it come in at under 20 lbs for a 32 inch screen. The picture is great, and at 32" the 720p only becomes noticeable from 1080p at around 4 feet or closer. I have never been let down by the picture. For a bargain TV it has enough connections, 2 HDMI is the absolute minimum as the are used up with an Xbox and a sound system. I thought the sound performed well for a TV this size, but as I desired it to fill a 10x12 room I had to add a small sound system. I am slightly disappointed when comparing it to the LG 32CS460 32-Inch 720p 60 Hz LCD HDTV, which is the LCD version. Even though you step up to LED you get the exact same frame, meaning it is not thinner like most LEDs. I do feel the picture is a lot better though as the LED do a better job of generating light. (brighter whites and that sort of thing.

Pros:
+Physically attractive looking bargain TV
+Great picture for price

Cons:
-Not thinner than LCD model
-Underwhelming sound
-Bare minimum 2 HDMIs

This product arrived last week. I just now had time to open it up and install. The back plate and front plate are not aligned. I found this out after mounting to the wall. I made sure the back plate was level, which makes sense to most normal people. The product has a built in level, but it is pointless. There is no way to hold the mount to the wall and use the little built in bubble level and mark the holes - in so doing you have to collapse the mount which covers the mounting holes. One other issue is that the swing arm is out of alignment making it very difficult to extend the arm - the bolt catches on the back mounting plate and you have to pull with some amount of force to free it. I would assume it is this defect that causes the back plate and the front plate to be out of alignment. I contacted Amazon and requested a return authorization. I received the RA within a matter of minutes. The downside is that I have to pay for shipping to return the item. I have a feeling that the shipping price may be more than the item cost...if so I may just keep and post to Craigslist...assuming that someone is willing to take a defective product off my hands.

If you want a cheap TV Wall mount that is poorly built - then I highly recommend this product.

TV mount was the exact fit for a 42' make sure you have a 40 or lower. Also, the studs are for 16" most newer houses are 24"... so beware. You have to turn it around to make it work!!!!

Ordered and received within a week. This item works great. It is very heavy duty - I had doubts about the weight it could hold from the picture but it is certainly heavy duty. It fit perfectly on our Apex TV which is 40". It came with more screws etc than you will use - I guess for multiple configurations. I was seeing these wall mounts in local stores for 100 or more and this is a great value and quality item.

We ordered this for our 17 month old who slept in a fleece sleep sack all during the cooler months. We ordered this Aden + Anais slumber bag as a warm weather alternative since he loved being swaddled in the Aden + Anais blankets when he was much younger. Imagine our disappointment when both shoulder seams and the zipper separated on only the second night we used it. Within the week, we requested a refund, but we were never approved. It's cute, but for us, it was down the toilet. I expected better quality from Aden + Anais and will certainly think twice before ordering any of their products again. Blankets, good. Sleep sacks, horrible.

I really, really want to love these sleeping backs. They are soft, super cute, and very popular. However, the zipper issue is a BIG problem. After two washings and only a handful of wears (within one month of purchase), the zipper fell off this sleep sack. Huge safety problem given that it is intended to be used on babies. I have had many Aden + Anais products and I generally love their fabrics-- super soft and lovely. But the zippers on their sleep sacks are a safety concern. If you order this, check the zipper before and after EVERY use to make sure it is on safely and won't present a choking hazard for your child.

This review is a little long winded. Skip to the bottom for just the pros and cons. Or, keep reading to waste 10 minutes of your life.

Over the last 5 years, I have been using a 58" Panasonic Plasma TV. Not a bad TV, but not the greatest either. It was only 1080i, it got hot pretty fast (which made the room hot and the air condition kick on too often), and the dimensions were weird (I looked at entertainment centers that should fit a 60" TV, but the TV still wouldn't fit.). I felt an upgrade was in order.

I'll have to admit, shopping for a TV was pretty fun. A lot of work though. The research was overwhelming at times. Websites upon websites, magazines, books, different people's inputs, salesmen trying to sell you different things depending on which store you went to, etc. I narrowed it down to one of many Sony HDTVs or a Samsung C or D series. After narrowing it down to those 2 brands, it was a little easier. I went to about 4 different Fry's Electronics and 7 different Best Buys to check it out in different situations. After that, it came down to the UN55D8000 (boy, did I memorize those numbers). To make the decision easier, I was looking on Amazon, and to my amazement, they had it for 0 less that everyone else, plus free shipping. Score!

With the free shipping, it usually takes a little longer. I would say, from the time the order was placed, until it got to my front door, it took about 1.5 weeks. It came delivered from Home Direct, USA and had no issues with delivery. They were going to set up the TV, but I told them not to, since my entertainment center hadn't come in yet. I opened up the box, put the TV on a soft cloth (our bed's comforter) and installed the stand. Eight screws, piece of cake. I connected the Directv receiver and a PS3. There are a few settings you will set in the beginning when the TV turns on. Takes about 2 minutes, literally. After that, the fun begins! Going from 1080i to 1080p is a huge difference! I had a recording of Chuck on the DVR and it almost looked live. I also watched some regular satellite programming and even the non-HD channels looked amazing.

After wiping the drool off the floor, I wanted to check out the 3D part of the TV. I popped in the free copy of Shrek the 3rd in the PS3, put on the glasses and waited to be amazed. Aside from the amazing colors, it looked exactly like 2D! WTH?! Then, I remember reading somewhere that the PS3 does indeed play 3D movies, BUT with an upgrade. I waited about 30 minutes for the upgrade to finish. After that, loaded up the dvd again, and there was the movie with that funky 3D image. Hey wait, I have 3D glasses on, how come I see that. Oh, oops. Batteries need to be installed in the glasses. Finally! The 3D image was awesome! Seriously, watching TV in 3D is amazing. I can't wait `til there's more media in 3D. As it stands right now, the only real movies in 3D are either documentaries or cartoons, with the exception of a few regular movies (i.e. Resident Evil, Step Up 3, etc.)

I just set it up last night, so I can't give you a whole lot more information. But, even if I did have more time, I don't think I can give you the detailed specs that you might be looking for. I'm not an expert on home theater. Here's an overview of pros and cons:

PROS:
* The lack of a bigger bezel really does make a difference. Not only aesthetically, but in terms of functionality, too (better 3D viewing. It looks like you're looking thru a window.).
* Images are spectacular. Whether it be regular programming, HDTV programming, or Blu-Ray.
* Price on Amazon was very good!
* Delivery was pain-free.
* A lot of settings options, so you can set up the TV to your preference and the viewing scenario (i.e. movie, standard, etc.)
* 3D movie watching is stunning! I just wish Panasonic didn't have exclusive rights on Avatar.

CONS:
* SmartTV is a cool feature. But, not a necessity. I really doubt that I'll Facebook or Tweet from the TV.
* Audio isn't great, but it's adequate. I wasn't really expecting much from a flat screen TV.
* Did not come with the touch-screen remote as was supposed to be the case in the beginning of the year.
* Have to mail in the vouchers (or register online) in order to get the 3D glasses. True, you do get a 3D starter kit with this TV, which has the glasses, but those glasses are a little different and use batteries. Also, you have to send out to get the free copy of Shrek Forever and Megamind. I really shouldn't complain, though, since these are free.
* Needs a more detailed manual on how to use most of the features. The manual it comes with is thick, but it's just because it's the same thing in different languages.

I have been playing with this TV for one week, the image a color accuracy was great until I notice there is a white halo in the left and right side of the TV. After reading other users and expert reviews, seems like the screen uniformity problem is persistent.

I chat with Samsung representative and this is what they told me:

Visitor: left side (more intense) and right side (less intense), middle (center) looks fine

Dennis: Please set the TV to Standard or Movie picture mode and lower the backlight to 7.

Dennis: Yes, you can change the settings after two to three weeks.
Visitor: Ok, just to let you know, I will post this in Amazon ratings, if this is not a fix I will say so... Samsung doesn't say this to customer when sell the TV and this seems to be a problem with the design of the TV itself...
Dennis: These are the troubleshooting steps that we can try for this issue.
Dennis: We are not suggesting you to use the TV with these settings for ever.

I will try and let you know, although I'm considering returning it given this is a very pricey TV...

UPDATE: Here is an update on the troubleshooting suggested by Samsung on screen uniformity...

I don't see material improvement using the setting that Samsung's representative suggested, and honestly don't think it will make any difference (or at least I do not understand why would be better just changing the setting temporarily). I could wait another week but don't have more time to wait before having my window to return... so I have finally decided to return it since the white halo doesn't go away and this TV is just too expensive to have this type of problem... if this TV would be 00 or less, I would keep it for sure.

To be very balance in my review, still think the colors are great and the exterior design of the TV is the best I have ever seen, but it seems like this great exterior design is the one creating the screen uniformity due to the thin bezel...I have also notice two additional minor issues with this TV, motion blur issues on fast pace scenes and the remote control range which is relatively short (8 feet or so).

So I'm switching to a recently announced Samsung PND8000 which is supposed to be top rated plasma... same interface and remote control than the UND8000, I will write a review once I get the chance to play with it...

I wanted to give this TV a glowing review; after all, it has some of the latest LED technology, and the style is trend setting. After a week with this TV, I am less than satisfied with the 'Samsung Experience'. Let me get this off my chest first. Did you ever go to an event, like a county fair, early, when not all the rides and attractions were open? You're excited because it looks like it can be a lot of fun, but it's just a bit too early for the full experience. Well, that's the way I feel about this TV. First of all, the 3d glasses that are supposed to ship with this TV were not in the box. Instead, there is a voucher you may mail in, or go online to order (which I did). After a week and no response, I called to find out why the delay. I was told to read the voucher's fine print, which said there was a 10-12 week wait for the glasses. Not good. Secondly, I found an issue with the remote control unit, which is not a fun thing to have in your hand. It is sort of short and stubby, with two sides. One side has a QWERTY keyboard for text entry, and a touch-sensitive pointer. I find that the up, down, right, left controls do not work correctly with my unit, and called support to report this. They seemed very interested in the matter and told me they would call back in 45 minutes (after they set up a testing unit) for further info. There was no call back. Another reviewer mentioned the difficulty in pairing the remote with the TV, via Bluetooth. I also found this to be a problem and not consistently easy to do.

Samsung has incorporated a feature called Smart Hub into their 'Smart TV'. This is a portal that has Netflix, Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook, Pandora, a web browser, and several games and applications that are either free or paid for. The feature is nice and I look forward to seeing it develop. You need to register your TV and create an account, similar to an Apple ID, before you can purchase any of the apps. You would think you could do this from the TV, but you can't; you need to go online to do this. Not a big deal, but it was confusing. The Samsung website is not ready for prime time either. The discussion board is not yet running. One nice thing is the Live Help, which works VERY well. However, I was not able to get the level of help I needed.

Okay, enough with the gripes. This is one fine TV. It is very light, has a narrow profile and includes a nice, chrome-plated stand that lets you to rotate the TV about 30 degrees in either direction. A big factor for me was the thin bezel, which allowed me to fit a 46" set into my 43" wide cabinet. The TV has plenty of inputs, including some strange connectors that let you to connect component and composite video. I do have a non-HDMI DVD that uses the component connectors, and it worked well. The setup of the TV is not difficult if you have some experience with hookups, and I was able to get all the components and my receiver working in short order. As I mentioned above, I am not a big fan of the shape of the remote, and I am trying to duplicate most of the functionality in my Harmony universal remote.

One thing I did was hook up my TV to my iMac to show photos to my photo club. I was not expecting the quality to be better than my 27" iMac, but it was FAR better. The color was most natural in Movie mode, Warm 1 setting. The sharpness was uncanny. I saw no obtrusive artifacts on the screen and was pleased as punch at the jaw-dropping quality of my photo images (and so were the club members). The TV is connected to our UVERSE system, and the HD quality is very good. I have no measurement or calibration tools, but I have a fine eye for photography. The color balance, contrast, and sharpness are excellent. The only thing I need to get a handle on is the 'Film mode', which can turn watching Modern Family into a strange experience; it almost makes some programs look like they were videotaped like a soap opera. I leave this feature 'off' for the time being. Tonite we watched the 10 Commandments (1956), and the quality was incredible! I have yet to see any Blue Ray DVDs, as I haven't purchased a player yet. And, of course, I don't have the glasses for 3D. I do plan to update my review as these things change.
This TV merits at least a 4-star rating. I may add another depending on how things develop.

Update 6/8/2011
Finally received my 3d glasses from the 'Samsung Fulfillment Center'. They are active-shutter type glasses and come with standard USB cords to charge them. You can plug the cords into the back of the set and the glasses will recharge when the set is ON. We watched our first 3D movie together last night. The 3d effect was excellent and I could see no artifacts. The glasses fit over my lenses and were comfortable. They turn on automatically when they sense a 3d broadcast, which is nice.

Ok, Thing Works just fine. Good display. I got this for my DOD Gs600 dvr dash cam..

Only down fall is it comes with a power chord that plugs in and then has to be hard
wired into something for power. What I did was took an extra Car charger, usb kind, and spliced
it, connected it to the moniters power wires, plugged in the usb car charger, connected it to
the moniter and then the yellow and white chords to my dVR thing, and Bingo Bango, we got video..

Here's the deal, thirty bucks and a little creativity with no issues later. The screen in nice too!

or spend big bucks and have the same outcome.. thats all folks!!

I purchased this monitor along with a Koolertron Rear View License Plate Back Up Camera. Shortly after receiving these items I ordered an additional back up camera. Since the monitor has a 2-line in-feed I was going to use one camera on the back of my truck and another camera on the back of my pull-behind trailer. I installed the first camera and the monitor in my truck and they worked fine. However, after one day the camera stopped working.

When I received the 2nd camera I wired it into the monitor and discovered that line 1 no longer worked, but line 2 was working. Because I needed both lines working I ordered another monitor and camera and am in the process of returning the first monitor and camera.

I've now received those items and have both cameras installed and feeding into the new monitor. So far everything is working great! (knock on wood). I don't know what went wrong with the first install, but now they are all working and I love the picture quality! I'm always amazed how low priced after-market items are often better than the standard OEM items. The picture quality that I get with these two rear-view cameras and a monitor far exceed that that came standard in our Lexus RX-350.

Three stars simply because of the first failure but if the replacements keep working then it's 5 stars!
