Lucy was requested with a light red background. Light red is so not pink...which is what happens mixing white with red. Mixing a touch of yellow with red keeps the red still too dark even if not too orange. I mixed matte gel with the red to make a transparent red. If you've taken any class, are you doing anything you learned? 🌴 I'm playing with a self made palm tree stamp inside an old book. I love the vintage paper. Book contents are obsolete so I'm ok with altering its pages, lol. Book purchased in ❤️Oaxaca, Mexico during @lisasonora art retreat 🌴 I made the stamp for use on a large abstract painting. That painting is still in progress. 🌴 I make my own stamps & stencils so I have the unlimited rights of use.
