When it comes to crystals, I find that people generally fall into one of three distinct camps. First, we have the believers. Then those who adamantly don’t believe in them. And the third are those who couldn’t care less, one way or the other. I love a good customer crystal story and these 7 will enlighten us as to some of the benefits of interacting with these wonderful gifts from nature.

Apart from our online presence we also sell crystals at Fernvale Markets Qld on Sundays. One of the things we like about this is that we get to talk directly with the people who stop by. There are lots of people who have to stop and tell us all about their latest find while they were out fossicking. Or about the incredible find they made years ago. Or their latest buy. And of course, all about their latest experiences using crystals. The majority of these people are a delight to talk to. They’re sincere, polite, and you can tell that they have a love for what they do. We have had many great conversations.

Then there are those who have to let us know that they have the biggest whatever. Or how they found this giant rock, or were given this most incredible crystal. When I was young, I was taught that everyone has their story, even the dull and ignorant. So, we patiently listen, and look forward to the next customer so we can excuse ourselves. It seems most of them are hellbent on making sure we know that what they have is so much better than ours. I guess I just explained a fourth group, but I’m not exactly sure how to classify them.

Not everyone is into crystals.

We occasionally get a visit from a fundamentalist who likes to inform us that we are engaging in the devil’s work. As we don’t believe in the devil this never bothers us.

It’s always easy to pick those who aren’t into crystals. They have usually been dragged to our stall by someone who loves crystals, or they’re a passerby just looking to fill time, or looking out of curiosity. You can tell them straight away by their body language, or by their derogatory remarks. Usually something like ‘surely, you’re not going to waste money on rocks, are you? Or come on there’s still lots more to see yet’.

Some Positive Customer Crystal Stories.

Anyway, enough of the negative side, it’s the good stories I really want to share with you. Some of them, even I will admit seem a bit farfetched and even hard to believe. But I have no reason to disbelieve them. I should point out though that they are written in my words, as I remember them.

Sean’s Customer Crystal Story.

Sean told me that at the time of his story, he was out of work and two weeks from starting a new job. Or, as he said three weeks out from getting his hands on some decent money. His car was limping by. He knew he couldn’t afford the necessary repairs, but he had it keep it going. A friend told him he had a crystal in his car to keep it running smoothly. Sean had a Clear Quartz crystal generator in his bedroom. A gift from his grandmother.

One of his biggest problems was if his battery would see him through. Anyway, he taped the Clear Quartz to it. Whether it’s true or not, he swears that that is what got him through until he could afford a new one. Also, even though his car still ran rough, it seemed to run a lot smoother with the crystal. It is now properly tuned and serviced and running well, accompanied everywhere by its companion crystal, kept in the console.

Alison’s Customer Crystal Story.

Alison was having a hard time with her sister, and she was often antagonistic toward her. They were having a mild disagreement in front of our crystal stall at Fernvale. The sister walked off, leaving Alison a bit agitated. Alison suddenly spun around and asked if there was a crystal that would make her sister like her. As she did this, she also picked up a Rose Quartz heart. This was more of a reflex in the moment action, rather than consciously choosing a crystal.

‘Actually, that one would be perfect’, I replied, ‘and better yet, why not get two, one for each of you. Blow your breath over them, and imagine the two of you getting along, very peaceably, and ask the crystals to help you love each other’. To my surprise, she did so, right there and then. A little while later when her sister came looking for her, she gave her one of the Rose Quartz hearts.

Three months later Alison and her sister visited our stall arm in arm to buy some crystals. Alison caught my eye and mouthed Thank You. That was enough for me to see the crystals had done their trick.

The man and his son. Another Customer Crystal Story.

This story starts some years ago. The man would come up, pick a couple of crystals, pay and then leave. He never seemed happy. After a couple of years, a younger man started turning up with him. He would stand back, scowling, and usually make a comment like “I don’t know why you’re wasting your money”. The man would pick out a handful of crystals, smile, and pay. Sometimes he would ask the younger man to pay.

A couple of years later, they turn up together smiling and happy, and always engage us in conversation. The young man turned out to be the older man’s son. He told me that he and his father had been estranged, but circumstances brought them back together. At first, his dad was very angry and hard to get along with. Each visit to the market made him angry at his dad’s waste of money on coloured stones.

Now he smiles and laughs, as does his dad as he gathers up yet another handful of stones. The son pointed out to me that his dad has a huge box full of crystals. He doesn’t know what most of them are, but here’s the thing – They Make Him Happy, and it’s rubbed off on me.

The man told me the other day that his nephew is getting into crystals, so he sent him a big part of his collection. He hoped the boy would get as much pleasure from them as he received.

Don’s Customer Crystal Story. 

As Don tells it, he had overheard me talking about racing legend Peter Brock and his 1986 “Energy Polarizer”. It was a box of crystals held in a resin along the lines of “Orgone Energy”. These were attached to Brock’s HDT vehicles. In that same conversation, I mentioned that a small Clear Quartz generator or point attached to the fuel line could increase fuel consumption. Also, that I had crystals I kept in my console to protect my car and cause it to run smoother.

Don purchased a couple of Clear Quartz points and went home to place them in his car. Where I had taped a small crystal point, to my fuel line, facing in the direction of flow, Don glued his on with Sikaflex.

Here’s the best part of his story. For the previous five years, he kept a log of his fuel consumption. He continued this for the next twelve months, and that’s when he came by our market stall to tell me the story. “You were right’, he said, ‘over the last year, my fuel consumption improved by .87%, not a whole lot, but something’. ‘And I can’t prove this, but I’m sure it’s running better”.

He went on to say, “I can easily live with that, but one day I swear that another car that should have side-swiped me, somehow seemed to slide by without contact. Now, that I do find hard to live with!”

Gisela’s Customer Crystal Story.

Gisela made a somewhat flippant inquiry, asking if we had a crystal that could bring more money in. We discussed some options and she left with a couple of Citrine, Green Aventurine, Tiger Eye, and a Jade. She came by three months later and told me her story.

She had a coffee shop that when we met that first time, was just breaking even. When she bought the crystals, she did so with a “what have I got to lose attitude”. She put four, or one of each in her till and the other three in her purse. Her business improved a little at first, but not really that much. Then a new business moved into the empty building a couple of doors away from her shop. Most of the people from the new business started buying their coffee and lunch from her and that moved her into profit.

Her quandary is, was it the crystals or was it the new business that saved her day? Like me, she likes to believe the crystals attracted the new business and then directed their purchases to her. This is an important consideration when you know that another coffee shop, was located about the same distance in the opposite direction.

Jenni’s Customer Crystal Story.

Jenni was buying a smudge stick, when I asked if she had used them before. She said she hadn’t, but a friend had recommended she get one because her house had a horrible vibe. She explained how she had finally managed to get a rental after trying for some time. But after she moved in, the house started giving her and her kids the creeps. She also mentioned her son was having nightmares. Basically, she was stuck in a creepy house, as in her words, it was all she could afford and she doubted she could get anything else. Besides she had signed the lease.

Her friend had also suggested, as well as smudging, that she should put a Black Tourmaline grid in place. A Tourmaline in each corner of the house at ground level and one in each corner in the ceiling. Plus, a piece of Selenite on the ledge above each window and outside door. Also, a tray of Smokey Quartz tumbled stones in the middle of her family room.

I suggested a Mangano Calcite and a Smokey Quartz placed under his pillow for her son’s nightmares.

A few weeks later, Jenni dropped by to buy another smudge stick. This one she said was to help maintain the good vibe her house now had. She said it was like all the negative and creepy stuff just disappeared as she smudged and put the crystals in place. Her son is sleeping so much better and has had only one nightmare since he started sleeping with his stones.

Jakes’s Customer Crystal Story.

Jake was feeling very morose and withdrawn and he had good reasons for his depressive state. His girlfriend had left him the same week he lost his job, so we could understand his down-in-the-mouth attitude. To make matters worse, nearly a month later, he still hadn’t got a new job, despite many applications and interviews.

This was quite understandable, as we saw it because he had allowed his energy to plummet to a very negative level. And it showed, in his posture, manner, and the way he talked. While we were talking about some of the things he could do to help his situation, he instinctively reached for and started fiddling with a Jet tumbled stone. We allowed him to keep it as our gift and said he should keep it with him as much as possible. As you will read below, he couldn’t have chosen a better crystal to help him get back on top of things, which he did.

It seemed his luck changed quickly as he had a new job within a few days. Talking with him two months later, his whole manner had improved for the better. It was good to see Mr Gloom and Doom replaced by a positive and upbeat young man. He also said he recognised some of the reasons his girlfriend left, and he is now working on improving himself for the better. Also, he is looking forward to meeting a new love interest in the future.

What’s your relationship with money? It’s true that your relationship with money will determine how much you will have. Conversely, it will also determine how little you may have to use and enjoy. I hope you’re not like the young man in this story.

“50c, it’s only fifty cents, not worth bothering about! Stupid coins – useless things! Why don’t they just get rid of them”, he said as he contemptuously tossed his change to the ground.

I stood stunned. This young man had just moments earlier been complaining to me that he couldn’t afford the crystal he had spied. And furthermore, really wanted. He even attempted to talk my price down.

I had to ask, “If you’re so broke, how come you can just throw your money away?”
“None of your __ business” was the reply. Not surprising, I suppose. And he went on. “Besides, what can you get with them? Nothing, coins are useless, so why should I bother myself with them, they’re a nuisance, I just throw them away.”

What a pity I thought. Here is a young man unable to buy what he really wants. Settling for second best when he could have so much more with a little change in his thinking. But how many of us are guilty of performing acts similar to this? Usually without thinking about what we are really doing.

This young man had earlier revealed in conversation that he loved working with crystals and energy. He also revealed that one day he would like to be a vibrational therapist. Also, he would like to run a healing centre similar to ours. Fortunately, he still has plenty of time, but he is going to have to mature and learn a lot more about energy before he does. Especially around life force and money.

It would have been good if he had stuck around a little longer. I might have also had the chance to enlighten him about his relationship with money. I would have explained that his attitude to money and his actions were the reason he had a money shortage and other deficits in his life. We could talk about how the energy of crystals could improve his life. What’s more, we could have also spoken about money-attracting crystals.

It is often taught that money is a token and a symbol of a greater principle. And this is true enough. Staying with this example his 50c coin is a part of his life force. He traded a certain amount of his energy time and effort for some money. This 50c coin was a token representing a part of that. He just threw it away. Furthermore, every time he does this with any of the coins that come into his possession, he is throwing away a part of his life.

No wonder he is broke and despondent.

Admittedly our money has been devalued. Also, coins are of little value and it is true that they individually don’t buy much. I believe it still takes 100 cents to make a dollar. Also that the more of these I have, the richer I am. That is unless something has radically changed and I don’t know it. So why would you want to throw them away? In fact, it really annoys me that we can’t have 1 and 2 cent coins. We lose a small fortune with rounding and being denied the real value of this essential building block.

In fact, I throw most of my loose change into a jar. It is amazing the number of times the content of that jar has saved the day. Or better yet, taken us out to dinner or some other pleasurable activity. The rest of my loose coins go into collection tins around the place. Here we have the opportunity to add a little more to life. A few coins that as my young friend said, can’t do much, can be added together to make a real difference to someone, somewhere.

For me, I like exchanging my life force, and my energy in a positive way. That’s what I would like to teach him. I believe it would be much better than his negative act of throwing it away. One day soon I hope he will know more about crystals and energy. Also, that he will understand more about energy and vibration. And furthermore, how they interact with and reflect on our lives. As well as how they can be used to improve our lot in life.

The Crystal Story of Yesteryear.

This story started in antiquity, lives today and no doubt will continue long into the future. The Crystal Story is as old as the world itself and has many versions and legends. Some of them date back to the beginning of the human race. Since then many civilizations and people have used crystals for numerous purposes, including healing, protection, and powerful initiations.

Legends of the ancient continents of Lemuria and Atlantis tell us that crystals played many key roles in their civilizations. They generated power for entire cities, provided healing, and offered teleportation across continents. The highly evolved inhabitants of these civilised societies were able to channel and harness cosmic forces by utilising the power of these crystals. Further, they used them as beacons of light and telepathic communication tools with their universal forefathers. Unfortunately, this sacred knowledge was abused and misused by an egocentric and selfish minority.

This caused the elders or wise ones to remove this knowledge from society. They programmed certain crystals with this sacred knowledge and returned some of them to the earth. They also transported others to other continents of the world and buried them for safekeeping. Also trusting that when the proper time came, these crystals would re-emerge and make their knowledge known. Furthermore, they would provide a path for ascension for the human race.

Belief has it that when the survivors of Atlantis moved into Egypt, Tibet, and South America they continued to use crystals. We will synthesize these crystals from abundantly available crystalline raw mineral materials, rather than plundering naturally formed crystals. This is about as close as we can get to free energy; to power our homes, transport, and even large segments of business and industry. Telepathic communication will be much more common and also enhanced with crystals. Energy healing will come to the fore with crystals as its main tool. Exposure to negative and harmful EMF will also be at a minimum by applying crystal energy.

More of the ancient knowledge will be available and as long as we use it wisely the Wisdom Keeper crystals will reappear. A path for ascension will be revealed (keeping in mind it will not be the only one). Most importantly I believe they will encourage us to “live the grandest version of the highest vision we can hold for ourselves’, to quote from Conversations with God.

We are very lucky in Australia that very few of us actually suffer from true winter blues.

The winter blues refers to feeling down or a bit depressed during the winter months. Some other effects are feeling tired, or having a foggy mind. It’s more common in those parts of the world where winter is colder and often darker.

These days it is well known that a lack of daylight affects our hormone levels and consequently our moods too. More so in the northern hemisphere; some people suffer a medical condition called S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder). If you suspect you may have it, you should see a doctor. The same with depression, it’s always wise to get medical advice.

What You Can Do Aside From Using Crystals for Winter Wellbeing.

Many of us tend to almost hibernate in winter. So, it’s important to stay involved in life and its activities. Be sure to spend plenty of time outdoors. However, if it’s too cold or wintery outside you can at least sit by a window—both our physical and mental health need to be exposed to as much natural light as possible.

Make sure you do some regular exercise. It doesn’t have to be strenuous; walking works well, and if you can’t get outside, try using a treadmill. You could also try stretching, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, or yoga for example.

If you have back pain, you know it, and if you don’t you know that too! So, I don’t think I need to explain it. I have put up with back pain, especially lower back pain for most of my life. And it appears I’m not on my own. In fact, back pain is quite common and affects most of us at some point in our life. Naturally, I have used crystals for back pain relief for many years as well. Most of the time they have done an excellent job, until the next time when I need them.

In this article, I am going to share with you some of the things I have tried and found to be beneficial. Plus the crystals for back pain relief I have worked with and some of the ways I have used them.

Let’s deal with the simple things normally recommended by most healthcare professionals. Now, I am assuming that you are a bit like me and like to take responsibility for your health and well-being. Also if something is amiss you consult with health professionals before embarking on your treatment system. Actually, I usually find my best way exists between the two.

So, here they are even though they don’t seem to be directly connected to back pain. However, they play quite a role in back pain relief. 1. Drink plenty of water. 2. Take decent daily walks. 3.Take care of your posture. 4. Do your best to stay calm and relaxed. 5. Don’t over-exercise. 6. Get back to your ideal weight. 7. Have regular back massages. 8. Get a Reiki healing. 9. I don’t blame you if you question this one. As hard as it is in our modern society, do your best to minimise contact with EMF.

Back Stretcher.

First and most importantly I am not recommending or endorsing this device. I came across it when a friend told me about the one she was using. I then looked them up online and chose the one I now use. If you are considering one I suggest you also look them up online. Not only will you discover there are plenty to choose from, but there is an abundant supply of information about them and their use. Many are the same device offered at varying price breaks, so more expensive does not necessarily mean better.

So, What Is a Back Stretcher?

It’s a device to effectively stretch the lower back to help relieve pain and pressure. It also helps to correct posture imbalances and increase flexibility. Easily adjusts to different levels of arching for customized stretching.

How long do you lay on it for?

Most suppliers recommend using a back stretcher for 5 minutes. Preferably, twice a day for optimal lumbar support and back pain relief. It is best to lay on it on the floor, or a flat supportive surface. I prefer to lay on it on my bed.

Are Back Stretchers Safe?

Yes, back stretchers are safe, however, there are some key points to consider to ensure your safety. Positioning is important, so be mindful of how you are getting on and off the stretcher. Start on the ‘low’ level. You can then increase the level as you feel comfortable and if needed.

Should you have a medical condition, a prolapsed disc, or a specific back injury avoid using a back stretcher, until you clear it with a medical professional.

How to Position and Remove it.

To put in position, lay on your back, pull your knees up, and slide your feet under them. Then push up lifting your back off the surface. Now slide the stretcher under your back with its middle in line with your spine and the middle of the stretcher arch under your belly button. Or, sit with your knees up and wiggle the device under your buttocks until the end is level with your tailbone, and then gently lie backward. You may find it more comfortable with a pillow placed under your head.

I find the easiest way to remove it is to bring my knees up and then roll to the side. Then I reach back and remove the stretcher, roll back again, and rest for a few minutes.

My Go-To Crystals for Back Pain Relief.

Clear Quartz.

Clear Quartz is pretty much my go-to crystal for most things. As a master healer, it is excellent for pain relief. It works by amplifying, adjusting, clearing, and balancing the bio-magnetic and energy fields around your body. It also has a powerful and positive influence on your immune system. Clear Quartz is a powerful crystal for back pain relief because of its ability to transform negative energy. What’s more, it rehabilitates and supports your entire energetic system. Another great thing about Clear Quartz is its ability to lift your spirits, which makes it easier to deal with pain, and find relief.

Hematite.

Hematite can be beneficial for back pain and is especially useful for people in pain after back surgeries. It increases the flow of life force energy through your body and also helps to accelerate your natural healing process. Plus it is a great allrounder when it comes to restoring strength and flushing out toxins. Furthermore, Hematite tends to restore strength and vitality to both your energetic and physical bodies which makes it much easier to manage pain. On top of that, it is a proficient grounding stone and is well-known for neutralizing negative energy.

Selenite.

Selenite is known for its high energetic frequency, as well as its ability to remove energy blockages and provide a sense of calm. Furthermore, it can balance your energy fields while creating a relaxed atmosphere around you. Aside from that, it is used by many healers to help relieve back pain, and to keep the spine in alignment, especially after back injuries. Selenite works with you energetically to reduce muscle soreness or pain.

Smokey Quartz.

Smokey Quartz is a superb healing crystal that helps disperse fear and lifts depression and negativity. It brings emotional calmness, thereby helping to relieve stress and anxiety. Most importantly, it strengthens your back and fortifies your nerves. Smokey Quartz also relieves back pain, can relax a stiff back, and eases muscular spasms and cramps. It also aids in the assimilation of minerals which play an important role in relaxing muscles as well as pain relief.

Amethyst.

Amethyst is excellent for removing energy blocks, and stress and tension that exacerbate back pain. It has anti-inflammatory properties, eases joint pain and swelling, and relieves stiffness caused by arthritis and rheumatism. Additionally, it also improves muscle tone and reduces muscle spasms and soreness. Amethyst encourages healthy sleep, which can certainly be hard to achieve when you are struggling with back pain.

These Crystals for Back Pain Relief are also very effective.

Malachite, Magnetite, Sapphire, Lapis Lazuli, Iolite, Amber, Cathedral Quartz, Blue Agate.

How to Use Your Crystals for Back Pain Relief.

We can all make use of the crystals for back pain mentioned above to help alleviate back tension. These are some of the most common methods with which we can harness their benefits.

• Carry Them in Your Pockets or purse. You can simply reach in and handle them whenever you feel tense, stressed, or in pain. Similarly, they may provide a few minutes of relaxation.
• Rest With Them on Your Back. You may like to recite positive affirmations or meditate for a few minutes to help you relax. Stay for as long as it feels comfortable, but usually 20-30 minutes is ideal.
• Have Someone Give You a Massage With Them. You can always ask someone you know to help out by giving you a massage with your choice of crystals. Tumbled stones are OK but larger flat polished stones are better. And they feel wonderful when massaged against the skin.
• Meditate With Them. This is particularly helpful if your back pain is caused by stress. It is also useful as it helps to manage anxiety, focus on the present moment, as well as reduce negative emotions.
• During Yoga. Whilst practicing yoga, you can keep your crystals for back pain relief nearby. You can place them on your yoga mat, or set them in a circle around your exercise area.
• Place Them Under Your Pillow at Night. Get some relief while you sleep, particularly if your back pain keeps you from getting a good sleep. The crystals will also help to relax your muscles and protect your auric field.

Using Your Crystals for Back Pain Relief Alone, or with Your Back Stretcher.

You may use each of these crystal layouts on their own, or in combination with your back stretcher. Furthermore, you can substitute the crystals for each of the layouts. For example, you could exchange Clear Quartz for the Hematite in the Grounding Hematite Ring.

In all of the exercises below, it is best to lay on your back stretcher for the recommended time of 5 minutes. However, I regularly go for ten and sometimes as long as fifteen minutes. I find that if I go longer it tends to become very uncomfortable. Once your stretcher time is up, you can always call it time. Or, once it is removed you may stay in place with the crystals for as long as you like, but fifteen to twenty minutes is optimal.

Clear Quartz to Amplify the Healing Energy.

Lay on your device and hold a Clear Quartz in each hand. Alternatively, you can place one on each side of your body level with your belly button. I like to hold onto large points or generators, but any Clear Quartz crystal will do the job.

Clear Quartz Energy Balance and Back Pain Relief.

Use six Clear Quartz crystals. Place one on each side of where your feet will end up. One either side of where your belly button will be. And one on each side of where your shoulders will be. Then move into the middle, put your device in place, and lay back, relax and enjoy your experience. This layout should sort out your energy channels and get your systems moving smoothly. Major energy channels run parallel to your spine and of course a large part of your nervous system also. Your energy moves around your body in an anticlockwise direction so it is a good idea to support this. Therefore, if you are using points line them up so that on your left they are pointing up or towards your head. On the right side have them pointing down or towards your feet.

This same method can be utilised using Smokey Quartz.

Grounding Hematite Oval.

In my case, I use eighteen large Hematie tumbled stones, but regular size stones are also quite suitable. Lay or space regularly them in an oval about 30 cm or 12 inches around where your body will be. Lay in the middle and move your back stretcher into position under your back. Laying in this energy field should help you to relax as well as ground and smooth your energy systems. At the same time restoring vitality and strength which makes it so much easier to deal with back pain.

Selenite Alignment.

You can use Selenite tumbled stones or rods of Selenite for these layouts. Four to six pieces should be sufficient. Or if you have a piece of about 30 cm, use that.

First method: You won’t be able to use your back stretcher for this first method because you will be lying abdomen. While you’re on your front, simply lay your Selenite down along your spine. If you don’t have the flexibility to do this on your own, ask a friend to assist.

Second method: Lying on your back, move your device into position, and then place your Selenite down your centre line. You may find it easier to lay them next to and alongside your body. You may even want to double the number of Selenite that you’re using. After you remove your device, you may need to reset your crystals, if you are going to lay there longer.

Selenite helps cleanse away any negative energy and helps you to be more focused and relaxed. With its reputation for helping with flexibility, bone alignment, and back pain your pain should be significantly reduced or even gone completely. You may even experience an overwhelming feeling and you might also feel that your body is vibrating.

Amethyst Bed.

It wasn’t until I was writing this article that I realised I had been using this for several years, although originally I set it in place for a different reason. And now that I think about it, it is probably one of the reasons why I notice my back more when I’m away from home. Also why I sleep so much sounder while I’m at home.

Between my bed base and mattress is a line of Amethyst natural points. These are located roughly below where I lie on the bed. The good thing about this is that I receive all of Amethyst’s healing energies while I’m sleeping. Any time I use my back stretcher it automatically includes my Amethyst bed.

Swap and Mix.

One of the joys and benefits of these layouts and crystals for back pain relief is that they are interchangeable. You can mix and change them about. Instead of holding Clear Quartz, you may choose to hold Selenite or Hematite. You may surround yourself with all of the crystals instead of staying with Hematite alone. Or whatever way you want to go about it.

What I like about using crystals for back pain relief.

I like what I call the safety factor for using crystals because they are unlike many other healing items, tools, and modalities. For example, in this article, I talk about using a back stretcher and as long as I use it properly there should be no problems. However, if I don’t place it correctly, or stay too long, there is a chance that I could do some damage. If I’m using herbs, oils, or regular medications and I get it wrong, there is a good chance that I may do more harm than good.

With crystals, should I use the wrong one, or use it for too long, or in the wrong spot, the worst that will happen is nothing. It simply won’t work, or won’t do as good a job as the right selection for my problem. I’ve never heard of anyone overdosing on crystals. I’ve never heard of anyone being harmed by using them. Another interesting thing about them is that they don’t just do one thing, so they can often cover for each other. This being said, there are still some precautions you should follow with a few crystals. These are usually noted in their description. Things like not placing a stone in your drinking water, while the same stone is OK to use otherwise. And using care when handling stones with a toxic element, like Galena which contains lead.

Random Acts of Kindness Week comes around annualland February 17^th is Random Acts of Kindness Day. It is a day to celebrate and encourage random acts of kindness. But imagine how much kinder the world would be if we did this every day. If we did it every day as a matter of course. More as a part of who we are, rather than something we do sometimes.

But first, let’s consider giving a little kindness as a random act to a random stranger.

Why you ask?

Well, that little act of kindness whether it’s a smile, or a helping hand given in some way, may just be the act of kindness that opens their heart. Your words spoken in kindness, may bring them understanding in some way. A random act of kindness could even save someone’s life. Your little act of kindness can help another person in so many ways; ways you can’t even begin to comprehend. None of us know what is really going on in someone else’s life. We are taught to put a brave face on life, and yet behind so many faces can be a state of complete despair.

If you’re going to do a random act, do it unconditionally and without any expectation of return. You will never know how it was received and the truth is you don’t need to know. However, the universe will know all unconditional acts of kindness, repaying them 10-fold over and over again.

It’s the Law of Attraction at work: What we give out, we get back—so that little act of kindness, given freely, will turn into healing for a complete stranger. Furthermore, it will manifest back into your life as healing.

What about those close to us?

So, if we can do this for a stranger, why not do something kind and unexpected for those close to us as well? And better yet, let’s not just do this now, but continue to seek out opportunities to add a little delight and surprise into our loved one’s lives.

Consider this, just smiling at someone and wishing them a good day, could well have a profound impact. We help ourselves by helping others, and undoubtedly, the smile on their face along with yours will make it all worthwhile.

How often do we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or even those smallest acts of caring? Yet, all of these have the potential to turn a life around.

It’s amazing how sometimes it’s the smallest act of kindness that has the biggest impact. Merely saying please or thank you can turn things around, and make life seem that much better.

Try gifting crystals.

Gifting crystals is an ideal way to share kindness in a positive and very effective way. Every week at our market stall we get the opportunity to share in at least one story or act of kindness. More often than not we help out in several instances of reaching out in kindness and gratitude. We are sure this is happening online as well, but we are not present to observe it.

It comes about because a customer is looking for a particular crystal to help someone they know with a particular problem. They check with us that this crystal is the best choice because it is a gift for this special person. So many find it relatively easy to be kind to others while remaining so tough on themselves. If you’re one, why not let yourself off the hook and do unto yourself as you would do unto others?

Moreover, Random Acts of Kindness Day reminds us just how important kindness is. Furthermore, it encourages us to get out there and be the light we want to see in the world.
