Role Summary/Purpose:
Supporting the Batam plant operational activities is a competent individual, capable of undertaking engineering responsibility for all Supply Chain related enquiries; critial to quality to ensure Oil & Gas equipment particularly Subsea Drilling equipment supplied, typically pressure containing and/or load bearing in nature, meeting internal & external engineering competence standards and quality policies.

Essential Responsibilities:

Evaluate and recommend disposition on non-conforming production items.
Provide technical support to mainly internal customers.
Carry out evaluation and recommendation of disassembly, inspection & repair procedures for returned goods for repair.
Assist in carrying out investigation on complaint items or product failures.
Participate in value engineering reviews.
Perform other related duties as assigned or indicated by responsibilities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Prior experience in an Engineering role is preferred.
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry will be highly regarded.
Ability to work and contribute as part of a large cross-functional team.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

Desired Characteristics:

Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standard and codes such as API, ASME, ANSI, NACE, ASTM, DNV.
Knowledge of Oil & Gas equipment design and operability.
