The Sahara Hotel is a las Vegas hotel that I am no stranger to.

This hotel was a great value for the price. The check-in line was long and took awhile but that was the only bad thing I have to say about this hotel. I was able to get an exceptional las Vegas hotel deal on my room, so the long line when I first arrived was the least of my concerns - and it was totally worth the savings!

The casino was great and they kept us full with drinks. The buffet was tasty for the price. I would eat there on a weekend date because its a great value!
The rooms where decent. I wasn't expecting a great room but I was plesently surprised at the quality of what we received in compairison to my nightmare at the New Frontier!

The hotel is a ways away from everything but you could always take a taxi. However, If you're going to go towards the strip during the day, like I was, I would suggest using the Deuce busses. You pay for an all day pass and it takes you right where you need to go.

All in all, the Sahara is a really great Vegas hotel and it's well owrth the wait in line. I would suggest it to anybody who want to save big bucks on their hotel so they have lots more money to gamble with or eat with!
All in all, if you're looking to save some money and get a decent hotel I would suggest staying here. I am sure to go back to the Sahara time and time again!

I never in a million years would have expected to write an article like this, but the most terrible thing happened to my girlfriend while she was on vacation with her fiancé and his parents.

How to Get an All Inclusive Vacations for Pennies on the Dollar

you ever heard of a timeshare? A time share is a house in your state, or states, of choice that you rent for a certain amount of time (usually one to three weeks a year). The remainder of the weeks are divided amongst other people, sometimes 30 – 50 other families who also use the same house as you are. The advantages of a time share is that you don’t have to pay for a hotel, you have an incredible home to live in during the duration of your stay and you save big because you can dine in rather than eating out.

Now there are many downsides to a time share, which in my opinion, far outweigh the advantages to owning a timeshare. You have to pay monthly dues for your place which you are only going to be using a few weeks a year. You also have to sign a lease…a pretty much permanent lease that you will possibly never be able to get out of. Selling a timeshare is beyond difficult because you have to first locate an individual that wants your time share in your location, then you have to make sure they are approved for the timeshare, then go through the process of literally selling your time share which is the same as selling a home. So the process is lengthy, stressful and you generally end up losing money and never profiting. So I really do not suggest getting a timeshare. Plus, above and beyond the points
I have mentioned, why would you want to vacation in the same place year after year after year? Oh, and what happens if you are sick or life throws you a curveball, leaving you unable to vacation during your reserved week? You’re S.O.L.

Companies that sell timeshares are very successful because they are able to quickly and easily convince you that a timeshare is the best investment ever and that you’ll save so much money long term. As you can see, 99% of the time this is not true.
But since people are not beating down the doors of the time share companies to get timeshare for themselves, these companies then offers incentives to you to try to get you to buy a timeshare. The way these companies go about this is pretty darn clever. They will provide you with tons of free gifts, often even totally free vacations in their timeshares so you fall in love with them and buy, buy, buy. But if you are a smart shopper, you can take the freebies all day long and walk away without ever investing. “How?” you ask, “Easy”, I reply.

There’s so many timeshare companies that have these offers every day of the year, it’s unreal. All you have to do to get your free or almost free vacation is pretend to be a timeshare prospect. In fact, you don’t even have to pretend like you are interested, you just have to agree (whether willingly or reluctantly) to attend a 2 hour presentation provided by the company at some point during your free vacation. The presentation is ok the first time you do it, but it gets more and more boring each additional time. As mentioned, the presentation lasts only two hours, which is a small sacrifice for the amount of freebies you’re getting. The first hour of it will be spent watching some slide shows about how amazing the timeshares the companies offers are, hearing some people try to lure you into buying and even get a free meal! Now the second hour is the stressful hour that will make you want to strangle your spouse or stab the company representative with a blunt object. During the second hour the company rep will try to sell you the timeshare and will refuse to take no for an answer. They’ll start off trying to get you to pay some crazy amount – “For only $500 a month you can use any of our timeshare world wide for two weeks!”. After you say no they’ll drop the price – “What about for only $200 a month? Is that more in your budget?”. Before you know it they will have dropped the price down to $20 a month or less – but only if you sign on the dotted line right that second. Don’t let the “excitement” get the best of you. Just say no again. After you have refused their rock bottom offer they’ll try and convince you that you can afford it and that your friends and family can use the timeshare, you can pass it down to your children and your grandchildren and even the family pet of your great grandchildren. Just remain firm and say no.

Eventually…they won’t give up. This is when you use one of the following excuses –

1. I just declared bankruptcy
2. I am in the process of debt relief
Or
3. My home is being repossessed by the bank

If you mention any of these things you are automatically declined for a timeshare and they will drop you like a hot potato. You will never have seen a salesperson run away so quickly. When my husband and I told our sales rep we were in the process of declaring bankruptcy, the lady slammed her notebook shut, grabbed the stupid timeshare maps and bolted from out table so quickly, I had thought she was going to twist her ankle.

If you follow this plan you will be able to keep your free vacation and any other bonus items and you’ll NEVER be harassed by the time share company EVER again. Trust me, they’ll lose your number forever.
BUT if you play the game they want you to play, you’ll turn the 2 hour presentation into a 6 hour presentation and end up leaving with a hole in your wallet and a few timeshares that you don’t want.
