Mohandas Gandhi is considered the father of the Indian independence movement. Gandhi spent twenty years in South Africa working to fight discrimination. It was there that he created his concept of satyagraha, a non-violent way of protesting against injustices. While in India, Gandhi's obvious virtue, simplistic lifestyle, and minimal dress endeared him to the people. He spent his remaining years working diligently to both remove British rule from India as well as to better the lives of India's poorest classes. Many civil rights leaders, including Martin Luther King Jr., used Gandhi's concept of non-violent protest as a model for their own struggles.

Mohandas Gandhi was the last child of his father (Karamchand Gandhi) and his father's fourth wife (Putlibai). During his youth, Mohandas Gandhi was shy, soft-spoken, and only a mediocre student at school. Although generally an obedient child, at one point Gandhi experimented with eating meat, smoking, and a small amount of stealing -- all of which he later regretted. At age 13, Gandhi married Kasturba (also spelled Kasturbai) in an arranged marriage. Kasturba bore Gandhi four sons and supported Gandhi's endeavors until her death in 1944.

Harry Houdini was the most influential magician of the 20th century. His specialty was escapes: slipping out of ropes, chains and handcuffs while locked in trunks and milk cans or submerged underwater. (He once jumped into San Francisco Bay while handcuffed and shackled to a ball and chain.) In an era before TV, Houdini became world famous by barnstorming across America and around the globe. He died in 1926, reportedly due to peritonitis after his appendix ruptured; the legend that he died during a failed escape is untrue. He was buried without an autopsy, and in 2007 a plan by family members to exhume his body moved forward, in an effort to solve the longstanding mystery of what caused his death.

Aquinas is the greatest scholastic theologian. He is a disciple of Albertus Magnus. Albertus provide lessons about the philosophy of Aristotle, and Aquinas's views align with the Bible. so that He is the very successful thus aligning both Aristotle's philosophy is not an ingredient that is harmful to the Christian faith. In 1879, the teachings serve as a legal doctrine in the Roman Catholic Church by Pope Leo XIII.

Thomas was born in Roccasecca, near Aquino, Italy, in 1225. His father was Prince Landulf from Aquino. His parents were devout Catholic Christian. That is why his son, Thomas, at the age of five years handed over to the monastery at Monte Cassino Benedict to be fostered so that later became a monk. After ten years Thomas was in Monte Cassino, he was transferred to Napels to complete language education. Over there, he became interested in the work of the apostolic church, and he tried to move to the Dominican Order, an order that very role in that century. His desire is not sanctioned by her parents so she should stay in Roccasecca more than a year old. However, his determination was made so that their parents give in to her desires. In 1245, Thomas officially became a member of the Dominican Order.

Thomas have skills well known, in activity he was assigned to give lectures in philosophy and theology in several cities in Italy, as in Anagni, Orvieto, Rome and Viterbo, for ten years. In 1269, Thomas was recalled to Paris. He was only three years to be there because in 1272 he was commissioned to open a Dominican school in Napels.

Main of them are thinking, Thomas Aquinas taught that all activity there is a move that is god, god is the mover that is not moving. Therefore this world there are two levels, namely the level of so-called super natural and the lower level called the natural. Natural life is not perfect, be perfect if the supernatural that is perfected with the help of god.
