Review: Jersey Mike's - Hot Italian Sub

Jersey Mike's Hot Italian sub features chopped and grilled ham, salami, and pepperoni with melted provolone cheese, topped with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and Chopped Pepper Relish.

I got a regular-sized one for $8.95 (which is a promotional price for the limited-time sub).

My sandwich was nice and hot, but stuck a bit to the paper it was wrapped in. They probably could have stuffed the filling in a little more.

Both the meat and cheese were plentiful. The thin-sliced meat offered a nice, salty variety of flavors, and the provolone was thoroughly melted. The onions provided some sweetness.

The Chopped Pepper Relish had a low-to-medium heat and was a little too tangy. There wasn't much texture to it.

The lettuce and tomato might be fine if you're eating it right away, but they were wilted and soggy by the time I got home.

Overall, I found a good deal to like with Jersey Mike's Hot Italian Sub. The meat, cheese, and price were great, but if I got it again, I would forgo the lettuce, tomato, and Chopped Pepper Relish for a simple melt-type of sandwich.

Culver's Welcomes Smoked Cheddar CurderBurger

Culver's has introduced the new Smoked Cheddar CurderBurger, its first flavored CurderBurger, which features a breaded cheese curd patty.

The Smoked Cheddar CurderBurger features a melty, breaded patty of hickory-smoked Cheddar cheese curd inside a Deluxe ButterBurger (a beef patty (or patties), dill pickles, red onion, shredded lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a lightly toasted, buttered bun).

The new burger is joined by the return of Jalapeño Cheese Curds, which are a spicy version of the chain's regular Wisconsin Cheese Curds.

The burger is available now through October 11, 2026, while supplies last, while the cheese curds are available from October 12 through November 29, 2026, while supplies last.

Culver's will also be celebrating National Cheese Curd Day on October 15, 2026, with a happy hour special for its Delicious Rewards members: from 4PM to 8PM local time, they can get $3 cheese curds.

Popeyes Introduces New Honey Chicken Biscuit

Popeyes has launched the new Honey Chicken Biscuit as an all-day sandwich option at participating locations nationwide.

The new menu item features a crispy-fried chicken breast filet served on a larger version of the chain's signature buttermilk biscuit. Each sandwich comes with two packets of sweet honey sauce to add on yourself.

The suggested price for the Honey Butter Biscuit is $5 (it's $5.49 near me in Los Angeles).

McAlister's Deli has revealed its 2026 Halloween menu featuring themed drinks and treats for the spooky holiday. Here's what you can expect when the menu hits on October 1, 2026, at locations nationwide.

- Witch's Brew - Bright green lemonade made with water, cane sugar, lemon juice, and caramel apple syrup.

- New Twisted Witch's Brew - Witch's Brew but with a shot of Black Cherry puree.

- New Franken-Tea - Witch's Brew plus McAlister's Famous Iced Tea.

Review: SunnyD - SpookyD Halloween Mystery Flavor

SunnyD's SpookyD is a limited-edition mystery flavor of the (normally) orange drink for Halloween 2026.

It's exclusive to Walmart in 18-packs of 6.75-oz bottles and in gallon jugs. I received this bottle courtesy of SunnyD.

The drink was translucently milky in color, reminiscent of Squirt soda. It's not the most appetizing color, but according to the ingredients, they didn't add any color.

I gave it a sniff, and I thought it smelled like gum or cotton candy.

Drinking it made me think of raspberry gum with a citrusy bite at the end. It's an interesting flavor, but not one I'd gravitate to. If you try it, let me know what you think the flavor is.
