Carl's Jr. Introduces New $5.99 Angus Maximus Burger and Switches to Cook-to-Order Standard

Carl's Jr. has switched to a new cooked-to-order burger standard it is calling its "Burger Revolution." To showcase the new process, the fast-food chain has launched the new Angus Maximus burger for $5.99 at participating locations.

Available for a limited time, the Angus Maximus features two charbroiled Angus beef patties seasoned with Carl's Jr.'s signature blend, served with melted American cheese, sliced onions, dill pickles, and special sauce, on a buttery toasted brioche bun. The beef patties weigh in at a third of a pound before cooking.

As a promotion for the new burger, Carl's Jr. is offering a free Angus Maximus with any purchase for new My Reward member sign-ups through October 27, 2026.

Papa Johns has a limited-time pizza deal good through September 27, 2026: a large Ultimate Pepperoni Pizza for $12.99. The pizza chain also has a BOGO deal.

The Ultimate Pepperoni pizza features an original crust pizza topped with 30% more pepperoni, a parmesan-romano blend, and Italian seasoning

The regular price for a large Ultimate Pepperoni pizza at my local Papa Johns here in Los Angeles is $23.49.

Papa Johns is also offering another limited-time deal where you can buy a large pizza at regular menu price and get a free large 1-topping pizza on Original, Thin, or New York Style Crust.

Jersey Mike's Brings Back Hot Italian Sub

The Hot Italian Sub is back on the menu for a limited time at Jersey Mike's.

Replacing the outgoing Chicken Salad Sub, Mike's Hot Italian features ham, salami, and pepperoni grilled and chopped with melted provolone cheese, then topped with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and chopped pepper relish on your choice of bread.

As before, it has a promotional price of $8.95 for a regular size.

Cold Stone Brings Back Banana Pudding Creation and Launches New Graham Cracker Creation

Cold Stone brings back its Going Bananas for Jell-O Pudding Creation for fall 2026. It's joined by the new Crumb and Get It Creation.

The Going Bananas for Jell-O Pudding Creation features Jello-O Banana Cream Pudding Ice Cream folded with Nilla Wafers, banana, and whipped topping.

The Crumb and Get It Creation combines Honey Maid Graham Cracker Ice Cream, cookie dough, Honey Maid Graham Crackers, and cookie butter.

Both seasonal Creations and their respective ice cream flavors are available now at participating locations nationwide through November 17, 2026.

Dunkin' Offers Free Signature Pumpkin Spice Latte with Purchase on September 8, 2026, from 2 to 6PM

Dunkin' is offering a deal today, September 8, 2026, from 2 to 6PM, local time: a free medium Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte with a "qualifying" purchase at participating locations nationwide.

Dunkin's Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte features A hot or iced latte mixed with vanilla and pumpkin spice flavors, topped with whipped cream, a caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar. A medium normally costs $5.89 near me in Los Angeles.

The fine print states "Qualifying purchases excludes (sic) individual MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treats or Cup of Water." While the fine print might make sense in some states, I don't believe you can buy either of those things at Dunkin' here in California. The small order of Munchkins is three, and water is free here.

The deal kicks off a marketing campaign where Dunkin' has partnered with two of the Spice Girls, Baby Spice and Ginger Spice, to reveal a sixth former member of the group: Pumpkin Spice.

Applebee's Debuts New O-M-Cheese-adilla Burger and More

Applebee's has launched the new O-M-Cheese-adilla Burger, a mashup of its signature Quesadilla Burger and O-M-Cheese Burger (a burger cut in half, with each half placed cut-side down on a hot skillet of queso and melted Cheddar).

Similarly, the O-M-Cheese-adilla takes a Quesadilla Burger with bacon and Pepper Jack cheese served on a sizzling skillet of queso and melted Cheddar with white corn tortilla chips for dipping. It's available for a limited time (for dine-in only) as part of Applebee's 2 for $25 menu, which includes two select entrees and a select appetizer for $25.

Additionally, Applebee's has introduced new O-M-Cheese Chicken Nachos, $6 Spooky Sips cocktails for Halloween, and Halloween-themed mocktails as limited-time offerings.

O-M-Cheese Chicken Nachos are a new, dine-in-only appetizer featuring white corn tortilla chips topped with chipotle lime chicken, guacamole, sour cream, house-made pico de gallo, jalapeños, and cilantro, served in a sizzling skillet of queso and melted Cheddar. Extra chips are included on the side.

This year's lineup of $6 Spooky Sips includes two new cocktails:

- Dracula’s Juice -Bacardí Superior Rum, Cuervo Tradicional Blanco, prickly pear, and premium lemon sour.

- Tipsy Zombie - Bacardí Superior Rum, melon liqueur, passion fruit, pineapple, cherry, and lime topped with gummy brains.

For mocktails, there are:

- Graveyard Soda -Mountain Dew and blue raspberry topped with a creamy swirl, whipped cream, grenadine, and Oreo cookie crumbles.

- Tropical Spell Mocktail - Pineapple, passion fruit, cherry, lime, and dragon fruit.

Crumbl partners with snack maker Little Debbie to offer a limited-time lineup of Little Debbie-inspired desserts available from September 7 through September 12, 2026.

Here's what the menu looks like for this week:

- New Zebra Cake - A chilled, two-tiered vanilla cake sandwiching a layer of marshmallow cream cheese frosting, coated in melted white drops, and decorated with chocolate drizzles.

- Cosmic Brownie Cookie - A warm brownie cookie topped with a warm fudge glaze and a sprinkle of rainbow candy bits.

- New Strawberry Shortcake Roll Cookie - A chilled cakey cookie sitting on a layer of melted white drops, topped with a swirl of house-made strawberry jam and whipped cream.

- New Unicorn Cake Cookie - A chilled strawberry cake cookie topped with purple vanilla mousse, coated in white drops, dusted with purple sugar, and decorated with a blue white-drop drizzle.
