Evanescence Releases Brand-New Single “Who Will You Follow”

Evanescence are back with a new song “Who Will You Follow” — listen

here - which was co-written and produced by Zakk Cervini (Bad Omens, YUNGBLD, Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox) and Jordan Fish (Bring Me The Horizon, Poppy, House of Protection, Architects). The track is a preview for their forthcoming album Sanctuary, set for release June 5th — pre-order/save here. The album, which features tracks produced by Cervini/Fish as well as songs produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Korn, Foo Fighters, Rush) will be available from June 5th as a Digital Album, Standard CD, Deluxe CD and limited-edition Box Set. A double vinyl of the album will be released on September 4th.

Amy Lee said, “This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it. It’s overwhelming. Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection… good thing we have the tour all lined up or I wouldn’t know what to do with myself now! The band recently announced their 2026 World Tour, kicking off on June 11th, taking them across North America, UK and Europe — tickets here. Special guests Spiritbox and Nova Twins will open on the North American portion of the tour, and special guest Poppy will support on the UK & Europe shows with Nova Twins opening outside the UK. K.Flay, who features on Evanescence’s last single, “Fight Like A Girl,” will open the UK shows. K.Flay will also support Evanescence for their Red Rocks Amphitheatre concert.

Evanescence has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1/£1/€1 from every ticket sold will support organisations providing humanitarian aid and medical relief to those in need around the world.

The band’s most recent tracks “Fight Like A Girl (feat. K.Flay)” and “Afterlife” have been met with praise from fans & critics alike, stating “It’s an exciting time to be a fan of Amy Lee and co.” - LOUDER, and “Evanescence’s first song in four years finds the band hitting what they hit best” - REVOLVER Magazine. “Afterlife” dominated the charts upon release reaching the No. 1 spot on both Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and Mediabase’s Active Rock Radio chart in both the U.S. and Canada.

Iron Maiden announce Blaze Bayley as Friday headliner at EDDFEST

IRON MAIDEN’S highly anticipated EDDFEST weekend this summer has just got even bigger with the announcement that Blaze Bayley, who fronted the band from 1994 to 1999, will be headlining the Friday night Maidenville stage. He is the latest name to be revealed, as part of the all-encompassing celebration of IRON MAIDEN’s 50th Anniversary that will be taking place on the iconic Knebworth site.

“I’m so excited to be invited to headline Friday night at EDDFEST, celebrating 50 years of Iron Maiden,” says Blaze. “I am so proud of my two albums with the band and I'm really looking forward to playing some of the songs that we recorded together. Can't wait to see you all at the hallowed grounds of Knebworth!”

Fans can expect to hear Blaze Bayley and his band deliver a powerful set of songs from The X Factor and Virtual XI, the albums he released during his time as Iron Maiden’s lead singer. Blaze co-wrote some of the songs on those albums with band founder Steve Harris, and Friday night’s Maidenville stage has been personally curated by Steve Harris to showcase many elements of his musical career.

Steve has also invited Gypsy’s Kiss, the band he formed in 1974 with singer and guitarist, David Smith, to perform on the Maidenville stage on Friday night too. As the very first band Steve Harris ever played with they were an instrumental part of Steve’s journey to form Iron Maiden a year later and create one of the most iconic rock bands of all time.

Steve Harris says, “Having the opportunity to put together our very own festival at Knebworth, and celebrate 50 years of Iron Maiden, has given me a chance to bring together friends past and present and create a really special weekend for the fans.

I’m very pleased that Blaze is able to join us and perform some of the songs we wrote and recorded in the 90s. He has been a big part of Iron Maiden’s career and I know the fans will be really excited to see him on stage at EDDFEST. It’s also great to have Gypsy’s Kiss playing with us at Knebworth too. They were a big part of my musical heritage and it’s really exciting to have them play at the Maidenville stage.”

EDDFEST is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience what constitutes Iron Maiden’s idea of a fun-filled 48 hours of entertainment, themed areas and bars, experiences, live music and more. GARBAGE and PLACEBO deliver alt rock classics for Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall

Saturday 28th March 2026: Garbage and Placebo put in astounding performances for the legendary Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall series - at the invitation of guest curator Robert Smith.

From March 23-29, other headliners selected by The Cure legend include elbow, Mogwai, Manic Street Preachers, my bloody valentine and Wolf Alice, as well as a night of Robert Smith’s Comedy Favourites.

Last One Laughing star Maisie Adam was at the show on Saturday, as was Yungblud, a photo of whom features in Teenage Cancer Trust’s Good Energy exhibition.

Legends of alternative rock Garbage - Shirley Manson, Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig - stormed the stage, bursting out with ‘There’s No Future In Optimism’ and ‘Hold’, as well as an explosive ‘Fix Me Now’.

Manson said: “I want to thank Teenage Cancer Trust for the incredible work they do for the teenagers of this country, the future of this country, and the greatest musical community in this country. So, first of all, thanks to Teenage Cancer Trust. Thank you to each and every one of you who has supported this whole week of concerts. I mean, it's been a dirty job, but someone has to do it, right? We are so thrilled and honoured to be part of this incredible week of curation by the great Robert Smith.”

Manson covered every inch of the stage, catching every eye in the jumping audience during the likes of ‘I Think I’m Paranoid’ and ‘The Men Who Rule The World’.

Before a cover of The Cure’s ‘Lovesong’, Manson said: “Alright, we’re gonna play you a song we’ve never played live before. We thought we’d give our tribute to The Cure tonight - who we're obsessed with. Without Robert Smith we would not be here tonight, for a million reasons. We have been so moved by The Cure’s music... And so we worked this song up as a tribute to them.”

‘Cherry Lips (Go Baby Go!)’ was a riot of punk guitars, while ‘The Day That I Met God’ brought the main set to an epic close, before the pure rock classics of ‘Stupid Girl’ and ‘I’m Only Happy When It Rains’.

The singer was also full of praise for Placebo, who put in an astounding set earlier in the evening. She said: “We are incredibly grateful to the magical, wonderful, incredibly unique Placebo for sharing the stage with us tonight. They could have been headlining themselves but they have chosen to come and work with us, work with the charity towards the great good. My respect, our respect, for them is endless. We've known them since the ‘90s. We all grew up together. So it feels particularly special for us to be sharing the stage with them tonight. And what an incredible performance you got tonight. That was something very magical. It doesn't come along very often, so a big shout-out and love to Placebo.”

Placebo brought a “stripped back” set which saw a 6-piece band reimagine their acclaimed back catalogue. Singer Brian Molko told the crowd: “We haven’t played a gig in two years” and admitted to feeling a flutter of nerves. But they launched into an electrifying set that began with their cover of Sinead O’Connor’s ‘Jackie’ before hits including ‘Special Needs’, ‘Pure Morning’ and ‘Taste In Men’.

‘Slave To The Wage’ and ‘Special K’ were sublime, with a new expansive sound, the audience entranced. “Would you like us to continue?” And a huge cheer preceded ‘Meds’.

Molko shared his gratitude on behalf of the band, saying: “Thank you for coming to support Teenage Cancer Trust. It really is just breathtaking work that they do, so can we give Teenage Cancer Trust a big round of applause!”

He also thanked promoter SJM and “of course, the legendary Robert Smith and for inviting us here tonight”.

The set ended with a heartbreaking, and rarely performed, ‘Centrefolds’ and a standing ovation from the crowd.

The night was compered by Absolute Radio’s Danielle Perry, who said: “Tonight has been such a wonderful example of how music, community and charity can come together to make such a difference. Teenage Cancer Trust continues to do such incredible work and it’s been a complete honour to compere tonight alongside Garbage and Placebo at the Royal Albert Hall. The invitation from Robert Smith to join tonight was a privilege and I tilt my hat to him for curating such a brilliant week of shows.”

Celebrated accordionist Nihad Hrustanbegovic is playing at the venue each night as audiences arrive at Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall.

Cancer kills more teenagers and young adults in the UK than any other disease, yet cancer care wasn’t made for young people. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer, funding specialist nurses, youth workers and 28 hospital units within the NHS.

Its Royal Albert Hall fundraising concert series was launched and curated by Teenage Cancer Trust Honorary Patron Sir Roger Daltrey, who was knighted for services to charity and music earlier this year, from 2000 to 2025.

Welsh ragga metal legends Skindred, who are universally acclaimed as one of the best live bands on the planet, have today announced a full UK headline tour in support of their brand new album You Got This.

Already setting the airwaves and dancefloors of the nation alight with current single ‘Can I Get A’ – which premiered on BBC 6Music, and has just been made Track of the Week on Virgin Radio – Skindred will be bringing the party vibes to Nottingham, Birmingham, Dublin, Belfast and Glasgow later this year, with an extra special show on Halloween at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace.

Supporting the band at Alexandra Palace will be nu-metal heroes Alien Ant Farm, along with fellow Californian scenesters Spineshank and Orgy. All three bands will also join Skindred at their Birmingham Academy show on the previous night, with Alien Ant Farm playing additional shows on the tour. SYLOSIS reveal 'All Glory, No Valour' live video ahead of North American tour dates

British metal powerhouse SYLOSIS are preparing to take their monumentally heavy, riff-fuelled live show across the Northern Hemisphere.

Next week, the band will be launching head-first into a collosal month-long trek across North America alongside Bleed From Within, Great American Ghost and Life Cycles.

To set the stage, SYLOSIS have released a break-neck live video for their track 'All Glory, No Valour', filmed during their career-defining performance last month at The Forum, London, a highlight of their biggest headline tour to-date.

SYLOSIS commented:

"All Glory, No Valour is a collective favourite from The New Flesh. Since the early demos, the song always stood out as one of the most aggressive that the band has ever put together. Monday 23 March 2026: With less than three months to go, Download Festival has revealed the thrilling line-up for its ultimate playground, District X. Featuring the likes of Five, Electric Six, Dick & Dom, The All-American Rejects, Creeper, MODESTEP, Bat Sabbath, TokenGrass and all sorts of other wild and wonderful delights, District X promises to take Downloaders to another dimension once again. Taking place from 10-14 June 2026 at the legendary Donington Park, Download Festival continues to re-define the traditional festival experience. SABATON release battle-ready new single and video 'Yamato'

Making another major move and breaking down walls once again, the Swedish masters of heavy metal SABATON have joined forces with leading historically accurate naval multiplayer game, World of Warships, and released a brand new single and music video entitled ‘Yamato’ — available in-game and on all DSPs now. It is being released by Better Noise Music on the heels of 2025's Legends, which marked SABATON's first album for the label. ‘Crossing The Rubicon’ (feat. Nothing More) from the album was also the band's first-ever Top 10 single on the Billboard Rock Chart.

This song notably marks the second World of Warships collaboration between the band and developer Wargaming following the mega-popular ‘Bismarck’. For the first time, a SABATON-branded Yamato is also available in World of Warships in addition to dialogue by vocalist Joakim Brodén and bassist Pär Sundström. Along with different bespoke items in game, Brodén can take the helm of the ship while the standard battle soundtrack replaced by ‘Yamato’ or ‘Bismarck’, transforming every engagement into an epic metal experience.

As history will tell you, “Yamato” was the name of a massive Japanese battleship constructed in-secret and unveiled during 1941 as the most dominant vessel of its kind. Designed to win at naval warfare, it represented the ultimate floating symbol of strength. In 1945, it famously hit the high seas on a suicide mission to defend Okinawa. Despite ceaseless fire from aircraft above and an opposing fleet of a far greater number on the water, the “Yamato” and its crew never gave up. Instead, they literally battled until the bitter end when a huge explosion rendered a deathblow to the ship. It sank in a blaze of glory…

As part of the alliance with World of Warships and Wargaming, the band filmed the accompanying music video in Belgrade, Serbia last October. Quite fittingly, it depicts SABATON aboard the titular ship during its last stand, descending into the unforgiving ocean as the band hangs on for dear life. Waves consume the deck, but each member keeps playing his instrument even as the chaos swallows the guys up one-by-one.

Testing their mettle in real-life, the musicians faced brutally frigid temperatures, weathering a continuous blast of ice-cold water for the duration of the shoot. The band remained submerged in freezing waters with the help of ventilators. Pushing it to the max, the guys even wore weights beneath their stage clothes to truly evoke the sensation of sinking. Maintaining the highest level of safety protocol, professional divers assisted SABATON throughout.

About the track, vocalist Joakim Brodén states:
“Battleships are interesting and naval stories have, from time to time, been part of the SABATON lore. ‘Bismarck’ was an exciting story for us to share and a fan favourite, and ‘Yamato’ is sort of a follow-up to that song. Our former guitarist, Tommy, wrote this song while he was still in the band. We only 'Thobbefied' it after guitar duties were returned to Thobbe!”

Bassist Pär Sundström adds:
“‘Bismarck’ was such an exciting song but it was never part of an album, and it felt that it was missing something. We always wanted to follow up on that story. Alice Cooper announces the release of his definitive autobiography, ‘Devil on my Shoulder’, published by Ebury Spotlight on 8th October 2026. This long-awaited autobiography finally lifts the lid on one of the greatest lives in music.

Building on over sixty years of rock folklore, Cooper will support the book’s launch with an intimate 8-date UK speaking tour. Each evening will feature the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee in conversation with a special guest moderator, followed by an audience Q&A, offering fans a rare glimpse behind the greasepaint and guillotines.

There are two, seemingly irreconcilable, Alice Coopers - the murderous, morally corrupt theatrical character who threatened the moral fibre of the western world… and the man who plays him, a sober pastor’s son who has been happily married for 50 years. Along the way, the two became schizophrenically intertwined. And in a haze of pioneering rock n roll, alcohol, drugs, iconic songs and wild gigs, guillotines, slaughtered chickens, legendary friends, rumours, snakes, Ouija boards, surrealism, house fires and car crashes - they nearly killed each other.

In the Sixties and early Seventies, Alice Cooper was simply a rock group, but as their lead singer, Vincent Damon Furnier, developed his modern-day Grand Guignol character, Alice Cooper became his stage name. Then, on a wave of global success, he legally changed it to his own.

“I was born Vincent Damon Furnier but, seduced by my character’s reputation, changed my name legally to Alice Cooper, and in the process lost sight of who I really was. The mild-mannered, all-American boy I’d once been became a monster and a mortal danger to himself.”

With a career spanning six decades, Alice's story features witty, intimate anecdotes featuring Salvador Dalí, Bob Hope, John Lennon, Groucho Marx, Vincent Price, Frank Sinatra, Errol Flynn, Bette Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Gerald Ford, Andy Warhol, Tiger Woods, to name a few, but he's also an acute observer of dysfunction and despair, wildness and criminality, urges and addictions, transgressions and human goodness. Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter announce Anarchy In The U.K. Tour

A definitive sound in rock since 1976 and one of the most important bands in music history, celebrate 50 years of punk this winter.

Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock of Sex Pistols once again join forces with Frank Carter for one of the greatest nights out in rock n roll and the closest thing to the original punk experience there is.

The Anarchy In The U.K. Tour in December will take in Dublin (3 Arena, Dec 7), Edinburgh (Corn Exchange, Dec 9), Glasgow (O2 Academy, Dec 10), London (Brixton Academy, Dec 18) and London (Eventim Apollo, Dec 20).

Described as a “rip-roaring punk rock redux” by The Guardian and “Full throttle pure punk” by The i, Louder said: "With Frank Carter up front, the Sex Pistols sound like the world's greatest punk band once more." And The Standard raved: “They sounded like the slickest garage band you've ever heard.”

50 Years of Punk

1976 was punk’s year zero. Sex Pistols set it off by playing a series of gigs, causing mayhem in their native London at now mythical venues like The Marquee, The 100 Club, The Nashville and a residency at the El Paradiso strip club before heading around the UK to spread the new gospel. Incendiary music and mayhem followed and by May they had entered the studio to record the first songs of what would become their legendary album ‘Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols’.

Their June 4th gig at Manchester’s Lesser Free Trade Hall, and a second weeks later, inspired members of Joy Division, New Order, The Smiths, The Fall and Buzzcocks to form bands. By September’s legendary 100 Club Punk Special, the Pistols were leading a movement. In October, the underground went mainstream - signing to EMI, the band released "Anarchy in the UK," capturing a generation's rage.

Paul Cook remembers that first year: "It was kind of like a commando raid. I don't even think a lot of places knew we were playing there. We just turned up and set up. It was all a learning curve for us - getting out there and playing live - we were learning on the job.

“With Anarchy, I think we tapped into a feeling of unrest around the country at the time. The message was pretty simple - just have a go and get out there and do whatever you want to do. It was a new world."

Steve, Paul and Glen once more emerged in 2024 as a force of chaos and celebration with Frank Carter on vocals.

“We’ve had a blast. People want to come and see us play live,” says Paul, “If I must say so myself, we are a great live band!”

From Australia to Japan, through European festivals and a legendary show at the Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust – where Carter conjured a giant circle pit – they tore venues apart throughout 2025. A return to London’s 100 Club before an audience that included Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller and Bobby Gillespie, sealed the revival.

For Steve Jones, the mission is simple: “If it ain’t fun, I ain’t doing it. I’m too old for bullshit.”

Formerly of Gallows and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Carter joined the line up in 2024, to help save London’s iconic Bush Hall and soon received rave reviews for his energy and new life brought to Sex Pistols’ music.

This summer, the band also play shows at The Piece Hall, Halifax (July 11), Castlefield Bowl, Manchester (July 12), Cardiff Castle (August 1) and Scarborough Open Air Theatre (August 2).

Monday 23 February 2026: Download Festival, the greatest rock and metal festival of all time, has today added 14 artists to its already stellar line up for its 23rd edition in 2026. The new additions to the DLXXIII line up include A Day To Remember, THE PRIMALS, Daughtry, Creeper, Hot Milk, DECESSUS and more. Hailing from Ukiah, California, the members of AFI (A Fire Inside) met in high school. Today, they’re a band in a constant state of reinvention. Stomping onto the hardcore scene, AFI’s early albums are now essential listening for any fan of punk and alternative music. Often, their albums take on new sounds, never allowing themselves to become too comfortable in one genre. It's an approach that has grown their audience but also challenged it with a sonic identity that can shift in wild, unexpected directions. Now with their twelfth album - Silver Bleeds the Black Sun... - AFl are, once again, marking a new beginning. AFI will also be making their Outbreak and All Points East debut as December Underground hits the 20-year milestone, creating an especially special moment for the band.

Fusing delicate electronic atmospheres with the slow but hard-hitting beats of Southern rap, Salem formed in 2008. The band are credited as innovators of drag, witch house or haunted house. The group consists of Northern Michigan's John Holland and Chicago's Jack Donoghue, both of whom trade vocals over sometimes-blissful, sometimes-nightmarish tracks that borrow equally from DJ Screw and Dead Can Dance. The trio’s first official release was the Yes I Smoke Crack EP, which arrived in 2008 via Acephale Records as a limited edition of 500 copies. This EP and the Water EP, which Merok Records released as another limited edition, cemented Salem's reputation as one of the underground's fastest-rising acts. Their 2010 debut album King Night was praised by NME as “monumental” who gave it four stars.

Mannequin Pussy’s music feels like a resilient and galvanising shout that demands to be heard. Across four albums, the Philadelphia rock band that consists of Colins “Bear” Regisford (bass, vocals), Kaleen Reading (drums, percussion), Maxine Steen (guitar, synths), and Marisa Dabice (guitar, vocals) has made cathartic tunes about despairing times. “There's just so much constantly going on that feels intentionally evil that trying to make something beautiful feels like a radical act,” says Dabice. “The ethos of this band has always been to bring people together.”

Following the 2019 release of their critically acclaimed third album Patience, Mannequin Pussy returned in 2021 for their EP Perfect. They toured that release relentlessly and added guitarist Maxine Steen to the band's official lineup. Where the band members' personal lives were in transition with breakups, changing living situations, and periods of self-reevaluation, their time together on the road was a grounding and clarifying force. Much like the cultivation of Outbreak Fest, their 2024 album, I Got Heaven, is a visceral and stunning album for people who aren’t content with the status quo, made by people who challenged themselves and got out of their comfort zone. ”We're supposed to be living in the freest era ever so what it means to be a young person in this society is the freedom to challenge these systems that have been put onto us,” says Dabice. “It makes sense to ask, what ultimately am I living for? What is it that makes me want to live?”

Jamie Roberts, aka Blawan, grew up in Barnsley and first came to prominence with his 2010 debut release, Fram, on the forward-thinking dubstep label Hessle Audio. Blawan has consistently redefined his sound and perfected his craft. Emerging from the post-dubstep scene at the beginning of the decade, he achieved early success with releases on labels like R&S. Natural with fluency for rhythm and flair, Blawan’s other aliases, Kilner and Bored Young Adults, like his collaborations with Pariah as Karenn and with Surgeon as Trade, have provided additional bandwidth for experimentation. Fast forward a few years, Blawan and Pariah started a label called Voam in 2019, and returned to their Karenn project, issuing the EP Kind of Green and the album Grapefruit Regret. Blawan also issued experimental solo EPs like 2021’s Soft Waahls and 2023’s Dismantled into Juice. Balwan remains a leader of experimental and game-changing techno. His latest album, SickElixir, released by XL Recordings, was given 8/10 by Pitchfork, praising his “pugnacious style into a brutish, unhinged gestalt”.

South-African born with Sri-Lankan (Tamil) heritage and an upbringing in Naarm/Melbourne, Ecca Vandal strutted her way onto the musical landscape in 2015 in traditional punk-style with an edgy disposition and something to say. Ecca’s debut White Flag hit the nerve of a raucous youth, securing high rotation on triple j and rave reviews. With the momentum of ‘Battle Royal’ and ‘End of Time’ in her wings, Ecca would go on to soar with her self-titled debut album – her biggest release yet. Formed by vocalist Jason Walsh and lead guitarist Sam Rickerby during their college days, the band completed their line-up in 2018 with Ian Souch on bass and John Wallis on drums, and made their initial impact with their debut EP, Bloodlines, which helped build their formidable reputation as a compelling live act.

The following years saw KILL THE SILENCE support the likes of We Came As Romans and Mallory Knox, while releasing the dynamic singles: Inevitable, Sinner, and Lost At Sea. Rhythm guitarist Daniel Ridding also later joined the band, adding yet another layer and dimension to their already engaging sound.

After time spent writing and refining new material, the band returned with their recent single, Hide & Seek, which is their most successful release to date. The track received support from Kerrang! Radio and BBC Introducing, marking a triumphant return.

Their upcoming EP, Resolve, reflects the band’s progression and focus. Vocalist Jason Walsh says: “We took our time with this EP and made sure it really represents where we’re at as a band. It feels like the most honest thing we’ve released so far.”

With more new music on the horizon and live performances set to be announced, there’s nothing stopping the band’s ascent.

BLOODSTOCK'S WINTER GATHERING returns in December 2026

After an unforgettable debut last year, BLOODSTOCK’S WINTER GATHERING storms back this winter, bringing the spirit of the UK’s premier metal festival indoors once again for a full day of festive heaviness. Returning to take over KK’s Steelmill, Wolverhampton, on Saturday 5th December 2026, this one-day celebration promises towering riffs, intimate chaos, and all the community magic that BLOODSTOCK is known for.

Just a 20-minute walk from Wolverhampton station, with all-day parking nearby for a couple of quid, KK’s Steelmill is easy to get to. Alongside a stacked lineup of crushing bands, there’s a range of food available to help you keep up your energy for 8 hours of solid headbanging, plus a fully stocked bar serving drinks throughout the event, with cash, card, and contactless all accepted. And because December is definitely coat weather, there’s a cloakroom available too - drop off your big coat and warm up in the pit!

Doors will open at 2pm, with bands performing from 3pm – 11pm, ensuring wall-to-wall metal across two stages from start to finish.

Headlining the main stage are Greek metal legends ROTTING CHRIST, whose ritualistic blend of black metal, gothic atmosphere, and commanding live presence has earned them acclaim across more than three decades. Joining them are Ukrainian blackened death metal outfit 1914, whose harrowing, World War I-themed sound delivers both sonic brutality and emotional weight. Leeds crossover thrashers PEST CONTROL bring razor-sharp riffs and ferocious energy, while vivacious slam extremists PARTY CANNON guarantee chaos, colour, and full-bore pit action. Self-proclaimed neoclassical fantasy pirates RED RUM offer up swashbuckling riffs and theatrical flair, but perhaps impeccable, classic doom purveyors WITCHSORROW will be more your thing? Kicking proceedings off in style, punk-infused eclectic progsters SQUARE WILD will open the stage.

The second stage is headlined by UK thrash powerhouse SHRAPNEL, delivering precision aggression and modern bite. They are joined by doom/death heavyweights THE CRAWLING, epic metal storytellers MOON REAPER, and Staffs-based punk bruisers HEAD DENT. Also appearing on the second stage is a live Bloodstock Festival Management Q&A, giving fans a rare chance to hear directly from the team behind the festival and ask their burning questions.

Beyond the music, WINTER GATHERING once again delivers the extras that made last year so special, including S’tanta’s Grotto, band signing sessions, giveaways, and the now-infamous snow machine making its frosty return.
