I hope that everyone enjoyed the holidays and is off to a great start for 2016!

Celebrate the fall season with a set of 3 jack-o-lanterns. They are primitive and perfect for your bowls, baskets, cupboard tucks and more. These jack-o-lantern ornies/bowl fillers are made from tonal cotton fabric in colors of black, orange and beige. Each pumpkin has been meticulously machine stitched and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. After the pumpkins have been stitched and stuffed I have hand stitched eyes, added a piece of painted osnaburg fabric for the nose and hand stitched black embroidery floss around the nose, added jute twine for the mouth and hand stitched the jute with black embroidery floss. I have added a tree twig for the stem and grunged each pumpkin really well in a coffee, cinnamon and vanilla solution to make them look olde and primitive.

These primitive pumpkins would be a perfect accompaniment for your fall decorating.

A prim hang tag shall included with this purchase. Hang tag shall coordinate with the pumpkin theme.

Prim Pumpkins measure approximately: (from tip of stem to bottom of pumpkin)

Smallest: 5 3/4″ Height x 3 1/2″ Across

Middle Size Pumpkin: 7 1/2″ Height x 3 3/4″ across

Largest: 8″ Height x 3″ Across

Each pumpkin is approximately 1 1/4″ in thickness.

So prim and there’s just lots of things you can do with these handmade pumpkins. They’re wonderful for tossing in your bowls and baskets, tucked in your cupboards and shelves and also a great decorating item for your holiday trees or dressing up a seasonal wreath.

special time of year.  I am indeed thankful for the many wonderful

taking a break from my crafting/sewing in order to spend time with

Get ready for the holidays with this holiday snowman special. A set of 6 white bottle caps with hand drawn snowman faces. I have hand designed the snowman face and glued the image inside the bottle cap. An epoxy resin drop sticker has been added for additional protection. Because of their hand drawn design, no two snowman faces are identical. A perfect additional for the snowman collector.

Bottle Caps are the Newest Craze!

Bottle caps seem to be one of the newest crazes and I must admit, I just enjoy creating these as there are so many things you can do with them. Make Bottle Cap Jewelry, use for your scrap booking embellishments, Bottle Cap Hair Bows, Bottle Cap Zipper Pulls, Bottle Cap Magnets, Bottle Cap Gift Tie Ons and so much more. Here are a few samples of the bottle caps I am currently making. Keep in mind I love doing seasonal items so if you are looking for St. Patrick’s, Easter, 4th of July, Christmas or primitive ~ I can make them up for you.

I seal the bottle caps 2 different ways. I have epoxy resin adhesive drops that are very popular and I use them but my preference is 3D Crystal Lacquer. They are hand sealed and allowed to air dry for at least 24 hours. A sharp image can be found. I just like the flat sealed look but that’s just me. I look all around at how people make their bottle caps and a lot of folks are using those self adhesive resin drops. They work and look great too.

I am offering this handmade pumpkin themed candle mat for your fall decorating. I have hand stitched the four pumpkins in a dark orange color, the stem in brown color and the vines in green color using embroidery floss. There is a layer of warm and natural batting in between the mat and then I have machine stitched the mat.

After this mat has been meticulously hand and machine stitched, I have added my special grunging solution of coffee, vanilla and cinnamon to give the appearance of old, vintage and primitive. I have also dry brushed the pumpkins orange to give them a little added appeal.

This candle mat measures 7 1/4 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch in thickness. Perfect to place a candle or votive on or use to protect your furniture for knick knacks, etc.
