Isang kapaki-pakinabang na gawain ang tatalakayin natin sa blogpost na ito. Maaaring ito na ang hinihintay na pangkabuhayan ng ilan sa atin. Madali lamang at talaga namang makakadagdag pa sa income ng ating pamilya. Ito ang pagpapalago ng mga kabuti o Mushroom Culture.

Narito ang mga kakailanganing materyales:

Dayami, dahon ng saging, urea o ammonium sulfate, prawn o balat ng hipon, kahoy na lagayan (o iyong tinatawag na bed na paglalagyan ng mga dahon).

Narito naman ang proseso o metodo sa paggawa nito:

1) Tipunin ang mga nakuhang dayami sa palayan at mga dahon ng saging. Iwasang gamitin mga kapilipino ang mga materyal na dati nang nabubulok. Ibungkos ang mga ito sa dayametrong anim hanggang walong pulgada ang kapal. Iayos at pantayin ang dulo ng mga dayami.

2) Putulin ang bungkos ng materyales sa habang 1.5 hanggang 2 talampakan ang haba.

3) Ibabad ang ginawang bungkos sa tubig sa loob ng 3 oras, ngunit hindi hihigit sa sampung oras. Hanggang sa ma-absorb nitong mabuti ang moisture mula sa tubig.

4) Gumawa ng lagayan ng mga naturang dayami at dahon ng saging, o iyong tinatawag nila na proseso ng BEDDING.

5) Gumawa ng pundasyon upang suportahan ang lagayan o bedding.

6) Iayos at siguraduhing magkakadikit ang mga ginawang bungkos sa naturang lagayan.

7) Diligan itong mabuti ng urea o ammonium sulfate, 1-2 kutsarang urea kada galon ng tubig. Dagdagan din ito ng asukal, 33 gramo bawat galon ng tubig. Pagpantaying mabuti ang ibabaw nito.

8) Ihinto lamang ang pagdidilig kapag tumutulo na ang tubig mula sa lagayan o bedding.

9) Ilagay naman ngayon ang PRAWN o pinagkainang balat ng mga hipon sa mga gilid-gilid. Huwag lagyan nito ang gitna ng bedding.

10) Gumawa ng isa pang layer nito. Siguraduhin lamang na pantay-pantay at dikit-dikit ang mga bungkos.

11) Takpan lamang ito ng plastic, bag ng semento o ‘di kaya ay sako sa loob ng pitong araw.

Papaano naman ang pag-aani sa mga cultured mushrooms?

Ang paglago ng mga kabute ay umaabot ng 13 hanggang 15 araw. Pagdating ng araw na ito, sunud-sunod na ang paglago ng mga kabute. Kaya, mangyaring pakiiwasan lang ang pagdidilig sa mga panahong ito. Saka lamang ipagpapatuloy ang pagdidilig kapag naani na ang lahat ng mga tumubong kabuti.

1) Anihin ang buong mushroom kabilang na ang pinakaugat nito, sapagkat maaaring maapektuhan sa pagkabulok ang iba pang mga kabuti kung saka-sakaling hindi ito naaalis nang buo.

2) Mas magandang anihin iyong hindi pa gaanong bumubuka, dahilan sa mas masarap ang kalalabasan nito kapag nailuto na.

3) Maaari nang ilagay ang mga ito sa tray at pupuwede nang iluto.

Isang napakagandang gawain at maaaring makapagbigay pa nga atin ng pagkakakitaan itong pagpapalago ng mga kabuti. Masarap itong pansahog sa ulam, kaya pihado akong ito’y isang uri ng kumikitang kabuhayan. Kinakailangan lamang ng sapat na alaga at tiyaga nang sa gayon ay uunlad ang kabuhayan. Mura na, mapagkakakitaan pa. Ganyan dumiskarte ang Pinoy!

Iniutos ni Cagayan Gov. Manuel Mamba ang temporary closure ng ilang mga amusement esrablishments sa Cagayan.

Ito ay bilang precautionary measure pa rin kontra COVID-19.

"Gov. Mamba orders closure on cockpit arenas, videoke bars, and even public and private gatherings to prevent the novel coronavirus to spread," ika ng post ng The Northern Forum.

Simula Marso 14, sinuspinde ni Gob. Manuel Mamba ang klase sa lahat ng antas mula pre-school hanggang graduate school kapwa publiko o pribado sa buong Cagayan.

Iiral ang kautusan hangga't hindi binabawi ng Tanggapan ng Gobernador.

"I am suspending classes now in all levels both private and public schools and to resume until further notice. That students are to confine themselves in their homes while classes are suspended," ika ni Gob. Mamba.

Ayon pa sa kaniya, ang hakbang na ito ay dahil sa tumitinding banta ng COVID-19, lalo pa at nagsisiuwian ang mga Cagayanong galing ng Metro Manila. Ito ay matapos iutos ng Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Community Quarantine sa buong National Capital Region o NCR simula hatinggabi ng Marso 15.

Matatandaang, may 5 katao na ang namatay habang higit 60 katao na ang positibo sa COVID-19 sa NCR habang nanatiling negatibo ang kaso nito sa Cagayan maging ng Rehiyon 02.

Kaugnay nito ay may pakiusap si Gob. Mamba sa lahat ng mamamayan sa Cagayan na kumalma, subalit maging mapagmasid at tumulong para masigurong ligtas ang lahat habang umiiral ang State of Public Health Emergency sa buong bansa dahil sa COVID-19.

Inaatasan naman ni Gov. Mamba ang mga barangay officials sa pangunguna ng Barangay Captain na tiyakin na hindi gagala ang mga estudyante habang epektibo ang suspensiyon ng mga klase sa buong lalawigan.

Ayon kay Bryan Oliva, ang nag-upload ng mga larawan, isang huwarang mag-aaral ang kaniyang kaklaseng may kapansanan na kinilalang si Ferdinand Dabbay bunsod ng kaniyang dedikasyon at pagpupursigi.

“Dahil ipinapakita niya na kahit anong hirap ng buhay niya ay pumapasok siya kahit may kapansanan,” ika ni Oliva sa Facebook.

“Dahil ‘di daw hadlang ang kapansanan niya kaya siya nagsusumikap makapagtapos ng pag-aaral,” ika pa niya.

Naging bida sa social media ang isang pulis na walang pag-a-atubiling tumulong sa isang mag-asawa nang nagkaproblema ang kanilang sinasakyan sa kahabaan ng EDSA sa Metro Manila.

Siya ay si SPO1 Ariel Camiling.

Ang insidente: nagkaroon noon ng aberya sa sasakyan sina Ginang Joann Angeles Delos Santos sa EDSA North Bound at ng kaniyang asawa habang papunta sa family day ng kanilang anak sa isang eskuwelahan. Napilitan ang mag-asawa na itulak ang sasakyan papuntang Gate 4 ng Camp Aguinaldo at naghanap ng tulong para sa tumirik nilang sasakyan. Ayon kay Delos Santos, marami silang tinawagan upang humingi ng tulong, kasama na ang mga kaibigang malapit sa kanilang kinaroroonan.

Dalawang oras umano silang naghintay sa Gate 4 ng Camp Aguinaldo. Maraming mga dumaan na tow-truck at taxi, ngunit dahil walang dalang pera ay hindi magawa ng mag-asawang kumuha ng katuwang sa noo’y nakatirik nilang kotse.

Isang SPO1 Ariel Camiling, na police officer sa Quezon City, ang lumapit sa dalawa at tumulong.

Disneyland Tokyo, DisneySea Tokyo, Universal Studios, Legoland Japan Shut Down Amid Spread

Disneyland Tokyo, DisneySea Tokyo, Universal Studios, as well as Legoland Japan have closed due to the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
Just recently, Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe also asked schools across the country to close most of the March.
The decision is part of the country’s aim to prevent COVID-19 from spreading.

In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak in Japan, Disneyland and DisneySea Tokyo have shuttered in a bid to prevent the spread of the deadly COVID-19.

The parks started closing gates from the public on Feb. 29 and will remain shuttered until “at least March 15,” said the operator.

In addition, the firm said the reopening of the parks is set on March 16. However, it said it is going to contact closely with the relevant administrative organs. It will then inform the public again should there be any updates.

Based on the website of Disneyland Tokyo, the firm cited that the main reason for the decision is the elevated risk of infection in crowded places.

On top of that, Legoland Japan and Universal Studios Japan also announced a two-week closure.

The two companies stated on their website that the move is to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

Moreover, these amusement parks are set to reopen also on March 16.

The closure of the amusement parks is associated with the increasing number of cases of COVID-19 in Japan. In fact, as of Feb. 28, Johns Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering said there have been 228 cases in the country.

Note that the number still excludes the 705 cases plus deaths of four Japanese passengers along with a British man from the quarantined cruise ship – the Diamond Princess – in Yokohama.

Apart from the above-mentioned parks, it can be recalled that Disneyland Resorts both in Hong Kong and in Shanghai, China have shuttered since Jan. 16, again because of the spread of the virus.

The closure comes hot on the heels of the announcement of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, asking schools across the country to close for most of March.

Abe said that this coming week or two “is an extremely important time.”

The purpose of shutting down schools, according to him, is to give premium on the health and safety of the children.

Uminom ng tubig. Huwag uminom ng malamig na tubig, dapat ay room temperature lang. Iwasan ang softdrinks.

Kumain/humigop ng mainit na sabaw. Mas nakakainit ito ng dibdib na tutulong sa sipon. Ang paglanghap ng init sa mga ito ay malaking tulong din.

Suminga pero huwag maging bara-bara. Kung may nakabara sa ilong, agad itong isinga. Ngunit, huwag gawin ito sa publiko at lalong 'wag gawin ito nang walang tisyu o panyo. Takpan ang ilong habang ginagawa ito at huwag lakasan dahil may peligro ang sobrang lakas na pagsinga, sa ugat at sa tenga.

Magpahinga. Huwag gumawa ng bagay na hindi kailangan. Huwag hayaang malamigan ang likod.

Magmumog ng asin sa maligamgam na tubig. Gawin ito apat na beses sa isang araw.

Uminom ng gamot. Paracetamol ang mainam madalas sa sipon.

Magpatingin agad sa doktor kung tumagal ng isang lingo ang sipon mo.

Nasobrahan ka ba sa pagkain nitong mga nakaraang holidays? May mga paraan para magpapayat, ngunit kung hindi ito ginawa nang tama, mas magugutom ka at baka bumalik pa ang nawala mong timbang!

Kailangan mo rin ng disiplina upang pangatawanan mo ang iyong mga susunod na gagawin.

Narito ang mga hakbang:

Bawasan ang pagkain at pag-inom ng mga matatamis na pagkain at inumin. Mas nakakababa ito ng insulin sa katawan, na magiging daan upang kusang matunaw ang taba sa katawan mo. Piliin ang mga pagkaing kaunti o walang carbohydrates.
Kumain ng mga pagkaing mayaman sa protina, mga piling fats, at mga gulay. Mas maraming gulay, mas maganda. Ang mga fats na dapat gamitin ay ang tulad ng olive oil at ang coconut oil.
Galaw-galaw 'pag may time! Hindi ka matutunawan ng taba kung hindi ka gagalaw. Kung kaya mo mag-gym, mas mabuti. Ngunit, kung hindi ito posible, ang paglalakad ay sapat. Gumamit ng pedometer (na mada-download sa Android at iOS) at ugaliing maglakad ng at least 1000 steps.
Uminom ng tubig. Napakahalaga ng tubig sa pagtutunaw ng taba, dahil ito rin ang nagwawalis ng mga basura mula sa katawan mo, na tutulong din sa pagtunaw ng taba.
Huwag magmadali sa pagkain.

Tumama ang isang magnitude 1.5 na lindol kaninang madaling araw, Jan. 11, sa Lasam, Cagayan.

Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, ganap na 3:37 ng umaga nang tumama ang nasabing lindol.

Samantala, wala namang inaasahang aftershocks at pinsala.

WATCH: Annoyed Pope Francis Slaps Woman's Hand Outside Vatican

A video from the media firm The Guardian showing off visibly annoyed Pope Francis slapping a woman's hand outside the Vatican is making rounds online.

This happened on New Year's Eve in St. Peter's Square.

During the time, the pope was walking through the square in a bid to greet thousands of pilgrims.

Suddenly, a woman grabbed his hand and yanked him towards her. It appeared that the gesture caused pain to him.

As a result, Pope Francis slapped at the woman's hand. As he walked away from the woman, he appeared really annoyed -- judging from his face's reaction.

After the incident, he immediately made a public apology.
