How to score a goal after hitting the woodwork in FC 26

On paper, the requirement is simple: you need to hit the woodwork before the ball goes into the goal. You must do so using either a German or a French player. If you’re lucky, you might complete the objective quickly. However, it’s not easy for the ball to go inside the goal after hitting the post.

Thankfully, here’s how you can turn the odds in your favor.

• Start a match in the Friendlies mode.
• If you have second controller, connect it to your device and opt for Couch Play.
• If you don’t have a second controller, invite a friend to a match.
• Next, get a penalty kick in your favor. You can ask your buddy to commit a foul in the penalty box for you to get the spot kick.
• Aim to one of the sides. Your LS should be either 90 degrees left or 90 degrees right. We are going to aim a far as possible.
• Stop the circle under the ball just before it completely disappears. In simple words, the circle will be small (so that slightly inaccurate but not completely off the target).
• Use a player who has good rating in the penalty department, as it makes controlling the shooting circle easier.

If you manage to do all the steps correctly, you’ll be able to hit the inside of the post and score the goal. However, you might need to try few more times. Occasionally, the ball might fly outside the goal, rendering your attempt useless. If that happens, keep trying more penalty shots, and you should be able to complete the objective quickly.

I am, of course, talking about Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valve’s 2013 sleeper hit that became a, well, global phenomenon and the most popular first-person shooter on the market. In September 2023, just around 10 years after the original came out, Valve shut the game down and replaced it with CS2, an evolved and supposedly improved title.

In essence, Valve didn’t change so much, and the two are nigh identical, but a lot of nostalgic folks yearned to return to the classic vibes of the original Source, and the game is now among the 30 titles on Steam with the most concurrent players, with 57,000 in-game as of this article.

It stands above the likes of Baldur’s Gate 3, Rainbow Six Siege, and even Valve’s own Deadlock, proving there is still interest in “old” games and that the future does not sit right with everyone. But according to The Batman 2 writer, Hollywood is becoming obsessed with video games as it lives out the last days of its comic book phase.

As first spotted by Insider Gaming, one of the co-writers of The Batman 2, Mattson Tomlin, commented on the fabled Mega Man adaptation, which is apparently still in the works though he is no longer a part of it.

Tomlin said he had no new information to share about it, but that Hollywood’s newfound obsession with video games will likely lead to its being made at some point.

“Hollywood is sort of making a shift from being comic book obsessed to video game obsessed so I wouldn’t be surprised if it sees the light of day in some form, but after so much time gone by, it’s unlikely I’ll have anything to do with it,” he wrote on X.

Comic book movies, like the recent Supergirl flick, remain an active part of Hollywood’s casual repertoire, but video games are slowly making their way into the mainstream. We recently got TV shows that were particularly praised, i.e., Fallout and The Last of Us, and now expect God of War and even Tetris to get their own films.

It is going to take a while to shake off the comics, though, with Marvel bent on making even more of its MCU titles, but then again it all depends on one thing: money, and that, my friends, is slowly moving away from there.

GTA 6 has the worst scalpers, but even they succeed

As soon as preorders for GTA 6 began rolling out, scalpers began scooping up as many codes as they could. For reasons that I cannot fathom—other than possibly not thinking that the price for that game isn’t high enough yet—they have been successfully selling them.

Murderer only regrets he won’t get to play GTA 6

When being questioned on video, a guy who’d just murdered someone’s first response was that he was sad he wouldn’t get to play GTA 6. That could’ve been just a shock-induced response or a silly attempt to seem hard and edgy for the Internet crowd.

As I was growing up, the coolest thing about the original GTA was that it allowed kids—yeah, let’s be honest, that’s most of us that were playing it—to live out a crazy fantasy.

The only silver lining here is that the guy who turned his life into actual GTA wanted to go back to the fictionalized version, so maybe there’s a lesson in there somewhere.

Michael De Santa’s never-ending nightmare

Imagine playing a character in a video game whose life involves escaping cops on the regular, then trying to come back to the real world and not being able to because a “fan” won’t stop calling the cops on you. Since 2023 and up until recently, that was the reality of Michael De Santa’s voice actor, Ned Luke, as one guy thought it a great idea to “swat” him as many times as he could. Luckily, the perp was caught.

Hate campaigns targeted at people who aren’t even related to GTA 6

Targeted campaigns sadly aren’t a new thing in gaming, but they might be reaching new heights in terms of sheer stupidity. You see, and I’m not condoning this, but they used to be targeted at people actually working on the game. Those are no longer the only targets, as some people have been caught harassing even the wife of a guy who has a podcast about video games.

So, just to make it clear, not even the podcaster himself is making GTA 6 come out sooner or later, much less his wife, who doesn’t even work in games or games media, but who somehow was caught in a wave of anger about the time it has taken for GTA 6 to release.

GTA 6 has already spawned conspiracy theories, of course

The pizza index supposedly determines the likelihood of the US going to war based on the number of pizzas being delivered to the Pentagon. Low means everything is normal; high means very long and possibly stressful meetings where the fate of the world is being discussed are taking place. It’s an interesting quirk, but silly to the point that you shouldn’t use it to inform a much more complex conspiracy theory to predict the release of GTA 6.

But alas, welp. A Reddit user began tracking foot traffic, noise level, O2 levels, and overall activity around the Rockstar building to “find out” more about the game. Interestingly enough, this wasn’t even done to find out GTA 6′s release date, but just that of the third trailer—and this very scientific method got it wrong.

In his defense, the theorist said, “After some consideration, I’ve decided that spending all my time monitoring traffic may be a step too far. Instead, I’m focusing on what I believe is the most effective passive approach: oxygen monitoring.” Good for him, I guess.

The Ninth Jedi’s big bad is a love letter to Knights of the Old Republic’s Darth Revan

For the uninitiated, Darth Revan is the big bad of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. A Jedi born amidst a galaxy-wide war, Revan took drastic steps to restore peace, and he ultimately succeeded. Unfortunately, Revan’s crusade took a toll on his soul, and he ultimately succumbed to the Dark Side, setting his sights on galactic domination.

However, unlike most Sith Lords, Revan didn’t want to take over the galaxy for selfish reasons; he wanted to stop war by uniting the cosmos under one power. Yeah, his actions are inexcusable, but the reasons he commits them are, at a fundamental level, in line with the Jedi’s goals of protecting the galaxy, a truth reflected in the ease with which Revan wields both Light and Dark-side abilities.

While we still don’t know a lot about Nowaam, what little we see of him in The Ninth Jedi‘s trailer paints him with a very Revan-colored brush. The Ninth Jedi, like Star Wars‘ Old Republic-era, unfolds in a galaxy haunted by endless war, and the trailer presents Nowaam as someone willing to pay any price for peace. Even if the price amounts to deploying a planet-busting superweapon.

In any other rendition of the Star Wars galaxy, it would be easy to dismiss Nowaam’s words as mere propaganda. However, The Ninth Jedi‘s galaxy far, far away has one thing others don’t: lightsabers that reactively change color to reflect their wielder’s heart. And when Nowaam wields one of these sabers, the blade burns blue, a color universally associated with good in both modern Star Wars canon and the pre-Disney Legends continuity.

If nothing else, it’s clear that Nowaam’s heart is in the right place, even if the ways he goes about achieving his goals are monstrous. Whether heinous methods are acceptable if the goal they further is inherently noble is a question Knights of the Old Republic forces the player to answer almost constantly, and it’s nice to see a modern Star Wars project confront this riddle in a way that respects the viewers’ intelligence.

With the fate of the Knights of the Old Republic remaster in near-constant, agonizing question, it’s great to see that the game is still inspiring Star Wars creative teams to push the series beyond the confines of the Skywalker Saga. Even if we never see Revan again, it’s clear his legacy is still potent enough to inspire villains who defy Star Wars‘ black-and-white morality without betraying it.

Until you lose it, let’s be real.” I mean, yeah, physical media has awesome advantages but also needs to be stored and stored properly. Put it in the wrong place for long enough, and you’ll see it degrade and deteriorate to nigh-unusable levels, though they say putting some toothpaste on it has magical reviving properties. Who knows.

Orders for these CD-ROMs are available right now, and I have a feeling that folks are going to jump on the opportunity, if not for practical reasons, then to just prove to Sony and Microsoft that the people still love discs and physical media in principle. I’m old enough to remember the advent of the DVD, the much larger and expanded version of the CD, as well as the early days of Blu-Ray.

Every house I went to as a kid had a stack of CDs, DVDs, and rarely Blu-Rays where they kept pirated versions of all sorts of software, video games, music, videos, and so much more. Hell, my dad still uses a CD-ROM music player in his car and has a hard time getting used to SD and flash memory.

Discs are still in high circulation and quite popular, especially in countries like Japan, where the future and the past clash directly and you can find CD/DVD shops renting and selling them.

So, it’s quite commendable to see a site as big as GitHub, and one owned by Microsoft at that, jumping on the side of consumers to defend a staple and cornerstone of the modern world.

As first spotted by Digital Foundry, a user on the r/SteamMachine subreddit submitted the first apparent case of the “Red Line of Death,” a moniker taking after the Xbox 360 and its notorious early-2000s crisis with the “Red Ring of Death.” As the name indicates, a red line appeared across the machine’s LED light, accompanied by a glowing red dot emanating from its power button.

When the issue appeared, the Steam Machine seemed to have been completely bricked, with the manual indicating that this red line is a sign of critical GPU failure. With the GPU soldered to the Steam Machine’s motherboard, swapping it out isn’t such an easy job, meaning the user will probably have to go to Valve directly for help with this issue.

As the user explains, they only managed to get some 20 minutes of use before the Machine went kaput, five of which were spent on playing No Man’s Sky. The other 15? Updating firmware and ensuring all was up to snuff and ready for some heavy gamin’. But I guess the Machine doesn’t like spacefaring sandbox games.

For reference, the Steam Machine has three Red Lines of Death: a big dark one meaning your device is overheating, the one like in the picture above that signals a dead GPU, and a similar but shorter one that tells you the bad news of your RAM going to greener pastures. I hope Valve’s QA process is good enough to minimize the amount of Red Lines, but if we’re getting them this early, I’d say it might be a solid idea to wait a little before committing to a purchase.

Not that you could get one even if you wanted to, since they’re all, naturally, sold out.

Today, the company shared that Cyberpunk 2077 has officially crossed 40 million copies sold since it launched in December 2020. That puts it well on the list of the 20 best-selling games of all time, with CDPR having another contender, The Witcher 3, in the number eight spot with 65 million copies shipped to date.

The contrast is that The Witcher 3 took 11 years to get to this point, whereas Cyberpunk has only had six. It’s too early to call one more successful than the other, but at this rate, 2077 could easily become CDPR’s most valuable franchise, so long as its sequel isn’t a dumpster fire like the original game was on release (in terms of its technical issues, the story was always 10 out of 10).

CDPR’s retrofuturistic RPG shares the 40 million milestone with Hogwarts Legacy, Payday 2, and Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) and is just behind, you’ve guessed it, several Call of Duty titles, because those are quite numerous on this list of best-selling titles. At any rate, CDPR can now easily be classified as one of the most successful studios of all time, having sold over 130 million copies across both of its franchises.

How to create a team with Team Builder in College Football 27

The Team Builder is available as an external website. If you have yet to start your journey, you can still make your fantasy team.

• Click on Create on the home page to begin the process.
• First, choose your preferred apparel brand.
• For logos, you need to pick your primary, secondary, and tertiary logos. You can add an image of your own, or pick one from the existing catalog. You can also use Adobe Express to create an image.
• Select Apparel brand from three options: Adidas, Nike, and Under Armour.
• Finally, pick the letter and alphabet fonts.

• Next, we create the jerseys. You can try out the presets available for each key part.
• You can also go for full customization for each part. Select the uniform part you want to customize, and then let your imagination run free.
• In the image above, I have selected a simple and solid color. However, you can mix and match between different shades. You can also tweak them further by changing the jersey, sleeve, cuff, and collar design. Similar features are also available for other parts of the uniform.

• Next, we hover over to the stadium. On your left, you’ll find different parts of your home field. You can edit the modular parts of the stadium to personalize it according to your tastes. However, you can also load the stadium of a real-life school and then edit it (go with this option if this is your first time using the Team Builder).

• Next, we head to the Program tab. This is where the fun begins.
• For starters, you can set the default strategy for your lineup, and add details about your school. This involves choosing the founding year, your rivals, and more.
• You can also add different grades for subdivisions of your school’s program. A key piece of advice: don’t go with A+ grades in every department because that will completely kill the realism.

Finally, head to the roster tab. You’ll find a list of athletes generated by the website. If you are happy with what the AI has created, you can go with the default squad. However, you can also tweak the details of every member in your roster. You are welcome to add abilities as you deem fit.

Once done, go to the Download Center in College Football 27. If you submitted and saved your creation, you’ll find it available for download. You’ll also find custom creations of other players; simply download and add them to the league to run a Dynasty mode save with these schools.

There are no ‘bad’ choices per se, but it’s important to understand how each backstory works before you invest more hours into the Dynasty mode.

All College Football 27 Coach Archetype in Dynasty Mode

When you start a new save, you’ll find the Coach Backstory option after you create your head coach. There are three different options available for you to pick from.

• Motivator: “Get your players to play their best by boosting their ratings and composure. Nobody has it better than us!”
• Recruiter: “Jimmys and Joes, not Xs and Os. You scout faster and recruit better than any other type of coach.”
• Tactician: “Boosts your player’s ratings on gameday. Scheme up the big plays and let the visor fly.”

Which archetype should you pick in College Football 27 Dynasty Mode

Typically, all three backstories have had their own uses. However, Recruiter will be my favorite this year. Being a Recruiter allows you to scout faster and better. You’ll have quicker access to those Green Gems during scouting that increases the chances for you to recruit them.

Moreover, recruitment will be harder this year, since recruits can recommit themselves. If they receive a bigger and better offer, they can choose to change the school of their choice during recruitment.

Most schools don’t have elite squads from the get go. Hence, you’ll need to scout some serious talent and bring them in to improve the quality of your squads. Unless you have picked a school with an elite program, you’ll need to ace the recruitment part of the game.

That said, both Tactician and Motivator have their own use-case scenarios. Motivator is great if you have picked a school with an elite program. There’s not much need to improve the squad. As long as your superstars are focused and remain motivated throughout the campaign, they should get the job done.

I haven’t found much use for Tactician last year. However, the backstory works well when you pick a school that’s in the middle of the pecking order. It’s suited for schools that aren’t elite, but they’re quite close to it.

Austin Carlisle of ULM takes the top spot as the fastest QB. With a Speed rating of 93, he stands at the top. However, he doesn’t have the best of overall ratings, making him more of a rough prospect.

The most established name on this list is Trinidad Chambliss. He has elite speed, great overall rating, and high agility. He is the best player on the table above, followed closely by the pair of Demond Williams Jr. and Marcel Reed.

As of January 2028, no new discs will be made for PlayStation, with the PS6 likely to completely eradicate physical media and focus on going forward with just ones and zeroes, because buying something and having it in your hands to do whatever is a relic of the past.

Back in 2013, Sony sang a very, and I mean very, different tune to this, so much so that it was one of its selling points for the PS4 as Xbox and Microsoft were trying to do the same thing Sony is doing now. During E3 2013, Sony dedicated a part of its panel to expressing just how important physical media is. It highlighted how you can sell it, keep it forever, or do whatever you want with it. How the turntables.

Gamers have been digging up “dirt” on Sony for the last two days, scouring the archives of the internet to prove how the company once valued physical media and discs in particular. Now, Sony is not only ditching discs but also recently started testing out DRM means where you’d have to connect to the internet every once in a while to reauthenticate your copy.

In another clip, shared by Tom Henderson, Sony even made an entire dedicated video on used video game copies and explained how they’re supposed to work and be used. Nowadays I can go out and buy a second-hand copy of a game I want for much less than Sony’s own region-locked, dynamically priced store offers and play it as if I were the original owner. And so could the person I sold it to, and another, and so on and so forth.

This ad hoc decision to kill physical media, while justified in various ways by Sony itself and its defenders, probably only came out of a single desire: more money. By locking people out of physical media, Sony is completely killing retailers (and thus the need to split revenue with them), the second-hand market that actively reduces its profits as one copy can circulate among several people, and gives itself exclusive rights to set prices, kill access, ban, enable, and do whatever it wants with games on its platform.

It’s sinister to the core, and Microsoft seems keen on following suit.

But the least we can do is vote with our hard-earned bucks and tell these companies that no, they cannot monopolize video games, no matter how much they’d love to.

The table below has list of the 20 quickest players in College Football 27. I have used the Speed stat to determine who is the fastest. I have also added their Overall and Agility ratings by the side.

There are three contenders this year for the top spot. Nyck Harbor, Rodrick Pleasant, and Gatlin Bair have speed of 99 each. Both Harbor and Bair will have greater advantage of the pace due to their positions.

The best combination seems to belong to Isaiah Satenga III. With an overall rating of 90, Satenga has 96 pace and 95 agility. Both stats will do him a world of good in the WR position. While the table this year has some recognized names, there are a few rough gems among the lot.

As spotted by Kotaku, Godot Engine shared changes to its contribution policies on Tuesday, outlining how pull requests (requests to include community-made code in the official branch) have increased rapidly in number due to AI agents and users using the agents constantly submitting them. Pull requests are thus much easier to submit nowadays, meaning that reviewing them with a small team has become quite challenging.

Furthermore, Godot’s creators say that “AI contributions have the added pain of being demoralizing.”

“Reviewing PRs (pull requests) is already tedious work, but it is rewarding because reviewers generally feel that their efforts are contributing to educating a new contributor,” they added. “If your feedback on PRs is just being absorbed by a machine and not going towards mentoring a potential future maintainer, it becomes much harder to justify spending your free time on PR review.”

Godot is thus putting a ban on AI, with the goal of encouraging new contributors to become maintainers, to teach new contributors, to ensure all code is made by people who can take responsibility for it, cutting off “low-effort slop,” and giving the community more reasons to start reviewing pull requests, thus making the engine better.

These restrictions include a full ban on autonomous AI agents, which will get you permanently kicked off Godot’s GitHub, a restriction on using AI to write “substantial pieces of code” with mandatory disclosures on any amount of AI use, a complete ban of using AI in communication, and a mandatory human review of all pull requests before they’re merged.

With a full-blown game engine now going so hard against AI, I can’t help but wonder if other engine makers will do the same. Corporate publishers probably won’t because of all the “productivity” BS they keep regurgitating, but open-source programmers might actually start following in Godot’s footsteps. Hopefully.

The talk around Sony’s decision to ditch discs starting in 2028 has already reached a boiling point in France, which will have its presidential election next year, as one of the country’s top candidates has begun attempting to gather gamers to his cause.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon of the country’s left-wing La France Insoumise party sounded off on the recent developments in a Twitter/X post today, taking a firm stance against the changes that are taking away ownership and choice from gamers.

“With GTA 6 without a disc in 2026 and Sony’s announcement of the end of physical disc sales for games in 2028, the question arises of how we view these products,” he said via translation. “Tomorrow, you will pay without ever owning anything. No loan, no resale, no guarantee of keeping what we’ve paid for. Video games are not mere merchandise; they are cultural assets, and the law in force must apply to them. We will open the project in 2027. Players have rights too!”

With PlayStation (and reportedly Xbox too) going fully digital in the future, it raises a lot of questions about the meaning of ownership for products you’ve purchased. Digital game purchases only grant you a license to use it, and can be taken away at any time, so there is some legitimate concern as to how this business practice will be received on a larger stage than just the gaming community.

The outcry against Sony’s announcement has been loud enough that I would not be surprised to see more politicians getting involved, whether it be simply to curry favor with voters or to legitimately take a look at the ethics of it all. Mélenchon placed third in the 2022 presidential election in France with just under 22 percent of votes in the first round, so he certainly has at least some sway.

The move to all-digital gaming began years ago, but it truly escalated with the revelation that GTA 6 would be digital-only, and now Sony announcing its unpopular plans has shaken gaming to its very core. It appears the industry is heading in a direction where physical media will be a thing of the past.

Can politicians actually do anything about gaming’s latest crisis, or is this just political gesturing? I’m hoping it’s the former.

Ava decides to check on a friendly neighbor, Joyce, who lives on the same floor. But the door is ajar, the fridge wide open, and she’s not answering when Ava calls. Something is wrong. It isn’t until Ava returns to find her apartment door open and Claire’s words start to sink in: There’s someone inside.

Here is our interpretation of Netflix Unhinged‘s story and endings.

A game of cat-and-mouse

It’s established repeatedly that Ava is trapped in every sense of the word. Outside is freezing, a hurricane moves in overhead, and thunder roars to the beat of lightning. The stairwell doors are padlocked too, a bizarre choice given the circumstances, as the lift isn’t working either. Why would the superintendent, Ben, lock the way out?

Visual reminders of Ava’s dire situation are not only in the lockdown apartment building, but also include a mouse caught in a trap. The story is a short cat-and-mouse thriller with shocking moments, where the killer is fixated on perfecting how tonight goes. In this story, Ava is the mouse caught in a trap set by a crazed killer. There’s also a mannequin in the basement which physically represents her too; a plaything or companion for the antagonist. After all, a doll cannot reject you, cannot tell you what you’re doing is wrong.

What happened to Noah?

By investigating Ava’s message log, you can deduce that Ava and Noah are exes. This trio, once inseparable, was forced apart due to the relationship turning sour, with Claire taking Ava’s side during the breakup. But it’s clear in the messages that Noah still cares.

Once Ava gets to Noah’s apartment, she finds him at the center, completely still. The attacker got to him too. His face is covered in plastic to stifle his screams. His stomach is ripped open, and his innards are spilling out. But he’s still breathing, meaning this just happened mere moments ago. Duct tape on the kitchen counter, timed to the storm—this was planned. His scream brings the killer straight to Ava, where she has no choice but to watch him pull Noah’s intestines to the sink for a “clean.”

Who is the killer?

You probably put two and two together by this point, but the security room in the basement lifts the curtain. There’s a board with pictures of Noah, Joyce, and Ava. A heart sprawled repeatedly over Ava’s face, the others crossed out. This room shows not only surveillance of the apartment floors, but of hidden cameras in Ava’s apartment. Her living room, bedroom, even her bathroom.

Then the identity of the killer is revealed. Ava watches the attacker on the camera, and as he dials a number on his phone, hers starts to ring. It’s Ben, the super, asking where she is.

What happened to Joyce?

After Ava’s abysmal attempt to fight back (can’t really blame her when she fell down a garbage chute), Ben nails her hands to the table of her replica apartment. She is faced with the terrifying reveal that Joyce—just like Noah—was murdered. Based on the limited information we’re given, I presume Joyce was led here by Ben earlier that day, manipulated with a box of chocolates, and perhaps placed here in a twisted attempt to bring Ava’s loved ones together in her pretend apartment in hopes she’d play along with his insanity.

Ben’s motives are unclear. But, based on what we know—his messed-up experiments on people and his obsession with Ava—there’s a good chance Ben viewed his victims as puppets to talk to and play with. This, alongside recreating Ava’s apartment after watching her on secret cameras for who knows how long, points to his desire to create a home for himself filled with corpses he’d talk to as if they were still alive.

I could be reaching here, of course, but given his unstable and erratic behavior, I believe Ben took extreme measures for control in his life, and perhaps sought to “cleanse” his victims of their “sins” by washing their innards or removing them completely so they’d resemble mannequins/puppets. He did not view his victims as human, but something to experiment on.

Unhinged endings, analyzed

Ava shoots Ben four times with the nail gun. There’s a moment of hesitation as she reunites with her friend, as if we weren’t supposed to trust Claire this entire time. This doesn’t go anywhere, however, as there’s a time jump, where Ava receives an ominous call confirming one thing: Ben didn’t die.

There are two endings in Unhinged, and the difference comes down to the only real decision point in the game: Do you take Ben’s call?

I (as I imagine most players) didn’t pick up the call. But if you did, you see a short cutscene that slowly zooms onto the picture that fell in Ava’s living room; the one featuring herself, Claire, and Noah. Ben tells Ava they will meet again.

The endings feel symbolic of Ava’s position throughout the story and a metaphor for toxic relationships—how we must leave them behind if we wish to move on. As Ben viewed Ava as a fantasy, she too had to kill the idea of a sick man who’d stop at nothing to find her, so that she may finally heal. Ignoring the call means Ben—in her mind—died that night. Meanwhile, taking the call reignites that trauma.

You could theorize Ben did die that day and that the call was a look into Ava’s psyche processing that terrifying night, but Night School Studio’s Director Sean Krankel confirmed the final phone call was real.

How to summon the Corrupted Reaper in Diablo 4 Season 14

To summon the Corrupted Reaper, you’ll need to complete the seasonal quests in Season 14. In simple words, you must finish the following quests: Rising Tide, Setting Sun and The Looming Night. To do so, you must first unlock Torment I (it’s required for completing Rising Tide, Setting Sun).

Once done, return to Zarbinzet and enter the Pandemonium Rift. You’ll find the option to summon the Corrupted Reaper from the pedestal. You’ll also need a Greater Lair Key to open the cache you get from defeating her.

How to defeat the Corrupted Reaper in Diablo 4

To defeat the Corrupted Reaper, you’ll need to learn her attacks. She’s not the most difficult of bosses to kill, and it will be easier if you’re fighting in a group. Once you can avoid the Soul Traps, you should be able to get the job done easily.

I have listed down some main attacks you can expect from her. Her greatest strengths are her speed and the ability to trigger AoE explosions.

The key is to avoid the Soul Traps at all costs. Once again, try to matchmake and find a group to farm quicker and unlock the rewards. At the time of writing, there’s no definite idea about the loot table and what’s on offer.

However, she offers guaranteed Pandemonium Fragments that you can get from her cache. You’re also guaranteed at least one piece of gear with 850 Item Power. The cache also has a chance to reward you with Mythic Uniques, but that depends on the Torment difficulty. The higher the difficulty, the better the rewards.
