Pokémon Champions has over 200 different monsters available for you to collect (counting the Megas), but there are a few that you can't obtain directly. They can only be obtained with the help of the transfer feature. While the list isn't big, they're certainly unique.

Let's look at all the transfer-only Pokémon in the current version of the game, and how you can obtain them.

How to get transfer-only Pokémon in Champions

As you might have understood by their names, these Pokémon will never appear as a recruit. Instead, you'll first need to find them in different Pokémon games. Furfrou and its trims, for example, can be found in Pokémon Go. There was an event back in Feb-March that allowed you to freely change its trims.

To transfer them, you'll need to first send them to Pokémon HOME. The Nintendo ID tied with HOME should be the same as Champions. Then, proceed to send the chosen Pokémon on a visit to Champions. Go to Pokémon Champions, accept the transfer, and your Pokémon will show up in the Recruit section.

As long as it has permissible moves, you'll be able to use the Pokémon across all types of battles.

Your journey from Finland to Russia in Road to Vostok doesn't need to be a lonely march, and that can be ensured by finding a cat on the fourth day of your adventure. If you manage to survive the first three days, you'll be tasked with finding a missing cat.

Let's look at how you can rescue it and add it as your beloved companion.

How to complete the Missing Cat event in Road to Vostok

You have to survive the first three days, and you will be able to accept the quest. The cat can be found in the Outpost area, but for that, you'll need to prepare carefully. The quest requires you to travel from the Village to the School, and then to the Outpost, and then again return via the same route. Since you'll lose hydration and energy at all levels, you'll need water and food.

Stick to the right side of the map, go past the lake, and you'll find a road. Stick to the road, head right, and you'll find the Transfer sign that takes you to the School area. Once you're at the School, walk near the cover that will lead you to the bridge. This is a straight route, but there will be enemies around.

Reach the end of the bridge, and you'll reach the Outpost area. The Outpost is extremely dangerous since it's an open area, and you can get shot. There are three bunkers at this location: the first one is immediately on the right of the spawn point. The second one will be to the left of the Red Farmhouse. Finally, the third one is to the right of the Red Farmhouse.

Once again, keep to your right, and you'll come across a small hill. There's an entrance to an underground bunker that will lead you to the cat. Go inside a room on your left, and you'll find a small well (look for the entrance hidden by wooden planks). You'll find the black cat in a cardboard box. Interact with the well to rescue the cat.

The exact location of the cat could differ on your save. It can spawn in any of the three bunkers at the Outpost location. Once you rescue the cat, head back via the same route that you came from. Don't die along the way, as you'll need to restart the entire process.

Pokémon Champions will be undergoing maintenance just after the first two days, and it will bring down the servers temporarily. The schedule was announced in advance, giving us time to prepare for the time being.

Let's look at when the server downtime begins later today, and more importantly, when it ends.

The servers will go down when the maintenance begins. As per the announced schedule, the maintenance goes live at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET/11pm UTC/12am CET. The maintenance is scheduled to last for a couple of hours.

If there are no delays, the servers will be restored at 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET/1am UTC/2am CET. If there's a delay, we will duly update the new timings on this guide. Once the maintenance begins, you'll no longer be able to access the servers. Since Pokémon Champions requires an active internet connection, you won't be able to play (since the servers will be out of order).

Unfortunately, even the trainer battles require an online connection. Hence, there's not much to be done once the maintenance begins, apart from waiting patiently. If you're in a battle, I recommend finishing it early to avoid losing any data and your in-game progression.

If you're just getting started, you can always build a team with the best Pokémon available in the game. However, you can also use Replica Teams created by other players (including pros) to make your life easier. It will be interesting to find out if there are any changes to the gameplay once the maintenance is over. The community has been unsatisfied about plenty of elements, and the introduction of a new 6v6 mode will be amazing for starters.

YouTuber ymfah has beaten Dark Souls 2 by only throwing poop at his enemies, and the result is somehow riveting and hilarious in a way that really heightens the otherwise dull and lackluster campaign, the series' black sheep.

On top of being hilarious and arguably the most fun I've ever had with Dark Souls 2, ymfah's video doubles as an explainer that bestows upon anyone the knowledge needed to also beat Dark Souls 2 in the OG Primate way.

I know I'm not the only one to find this highly entertaining content, as the comments point out the same unexpected highlights that also caught my attention until the credits rolled.

If you're one of the many who consider Dark Souls 2’s narrative severely underwhelming, give this video a chance and prepare to be moved. And no, I'm not saying that only out of jest.

As most know, Dark Souls is less about the story itself and more about the progression, out of which players will make their own assertions on what the actual history of that place could be. Besides a plot way more uninspired than that of the original, Dark Souls 2 greatly suffers from bad level design. Most of its level layouts are severely undercooked, and some of them are even randomly cobbled together in a way that makes the world feel completely impossible. This inevitably makes progression feel wonky, at best, and like a complete fever dream for the most part.

Infamously, Dark Souls 2's final dungeon, Drangleic Castle, requires players to go through a lot of unnecessary trouble to get to, as it's blocked by a knee-high pile of rubble that any adventurer would just casually walk over. It might not seem like much, but this greatly hinders the seriousness of the quest at hand.

But the poop run fixes all that. First, because it's much more fun overall, and also because now there's a truly hard obstacle to overcome—the rat that requires six "dung pies" to die, with players only having access to five. Now we're talking stakes! I mean, seriously, because most of the run is spent on the quest for that elusive sixth literal piece of sh*t. After that, it's all about breaking the game to farm dung pies and become the poop lord, the Dung Yeeter, if you will, and it's all extremely fun to witness.

Sierra has been officially revealed as Overwatch's newest hero in Season 2 as part of the Summit Breach trailer. This is the first time we have seen what she will look like and what her potential in-game kit will be. With a large plasma rifle in hand, it's pretty safe to assume the kind of role she will play.

As of writing, Blizzard hasn't officially described Sierra's abilities and how they will function. However, the trailer allows us plenty of room for speculation about how her possible kit will work.

• Weapon: Helix Rifle, which should work as an assault weapon. There will be a possible spiral pattern to the shots.
• Tracking Shot: Helix Rifle shots that will track the enemy and reveal their location unless they're far away.
• Drone: A functional drone that could provide some kind of mobility boost. Indications are that you'll be able to launch the drone in the air and grapple towards it, and then swing in either direction.
• Charge: Tremor charge that will create shockwaves upon impact.
• Ultimate: Deploy a drone that will drop explosives on enemies
• Passive: Reveal enemies beyond a certain threshold to reveal their locations.

As for her role, Sierra is going to be a DPS. With a weapon like her rifle and the drone, there's no better role that looks more suitable for her. With her, the best possible play might be mid-distance battles, as long-range sniping doesn't appear to be very optimal with her possible kit.

A Reddit user named RyanTheValkyrie had made very similar speculation about a week ago. Their predictions have eerily come true after the official reveal, which adds another indicator towards Sierra's kit.

That said, not long is left for her to go live in Overwatch. If the rumors and speculations turn out to be true, she can be extremely high on the meta tier list, especially when all DPS units are considered.

The Xeno Arena update has suddenly converted No Man's Sky into a monster-collector adventure, and at the top lies the S-class pets. All pets who fight for you will have different tiers. While you can upgrade all of them, it's always beneficial to find S-tier pets from the get-go.

How to find S-class Xeno pets in No Man's Sky

For starters, you'll need to clear a fair amount of in-game content before you'll find a quest that will guide you through the basics of Xeno battles.

There are three tutorial battles to complete as part of the Xeno Arena quest. Once those are done, you'll be able to explore and collect creatures of your own freely. Go to any planet you want, but there must be a life form on it. Wait for a couple of minutes for the animals to load on the planet, and then you'll need to use your scanner.

Once the scan is complete, you'll be able to identify the animal's tier. Continue this process until you find one with S-tier class as its base. This could also be one that was discovered by another player and scanned on the planet before.

Approach the animal, and you'll get the option to feed it. Provide food for the animal, and you'll be able to add it as a companion. It can now be used for fights in Xeno Arenas once you're aboard the Anomaly.

S-tier Xenos are not perfect. Some of them can be incredibly underleveled when you find them. Naturally, they'll still be weak. However, they will grow quicker and better compared to low-tier companions. That said, you can do fine without setting up a team of only S-tier companions.

A rebranded Overwatch keeps expanding as a new season of Reign of Talon is about to release on April 14, bringing with it a new DPS hero, Sierra, who seems like a crossover between several existing heroes, for better or for worse.

Sierra was announced today, April 9, and is going to be available with the release of the second Reign of Talon season on April 14, i.e., this coming Tuesday. She is a fast, lethally precise DPS who can utilize grappling hooks, apparent auto-aim, and a carpet-bombing ultimate that can blow the entire enemy team sky high.

From the onset, she appears like a crossover between Pharah, Soldier 76, and Widowmaker, utilizing one ability from each of their kits. The grappling hook is a spitting image of Widowmaker's selfsame ability, the aim assist is straight ripped out of Soldier's ultimate, and the carpet bombing bit is all too reminiscent of Pharah's own AOE rocket barrage. At any rate, she is a new hero, a blazingly fast one at that, who will almost certainly prove way too disruptive for a Widowmaker main such as myself.

What sets Sierra apart from these heroes is her reliance on her drone, Dorothy, which both lets her grapple onto it and aids her in battle. On top of the mentioned abilities, Sierra also seems to have a basic impact grenade that deals damage in a cone, allowing her to chunk several enemies at once, even if she doesn't have her Ultimate on standby.

The auto-aiming ability has an extra quirk that requires Sierra to land a "targeting" dart onto an enemy before she is allowed to auto-aim them to death, so that's at least one extra hurdle she'll have to hop over to gain access to another hero's literal Ultimate ability.

Either way, we'll see how and to what extent Sierra will impact the Overwatch meta, though something tells me she is going to be way over-tuned and overpowered on release, which is something I am thoroughly not looking forward to.

Sunset Visitor, the indie dev studio behind 1000XRESIST, one of the most spectacular sleeper hits of the past few years, has just revealed Prove You're Human, a sci-fi adventure where players are tasked with "putting an AI in its place." Can you think of a better premise these days?

One of 1000xRESIST's biggest strengths is its commitment to presenting original narratives in a unique way, resisting the temptations of more realistic AAA approaches. The bold stance and sublime execution earned 1000xResist popular acclaim and a Peabody Award for its immersive narrative, and Prove You're Human seems to want to take things even further.

In Prove You're Human, we play as a copy of a human consciousness tasked with testing an AI that believes itself to be human. The gameplay seems to mainly take place in first-person perspective, and dares to have players answer captcha-like riddles. Chances are you hate those things, but if you know Sunset Visitor, you also know they wouldn't be doing this if they didn't have an ace up their sleeve.

The game's usage of regular 3D environments combined with live-action footage—maybe in an attempt to better help convey the memories or feelings that make one human, or to make telling truth from fiction even more complicated. The mixed aesthetics grant the game a beautiful but uneasy feel, like a wild dream or hallucination. While I can't really point to any clear inspiration for the AI character besides the obvious GlaDOS from the Portal series, the whole vibe of the game reminds me a lot of LSD Dream Emulator for the PS1.

Gameplay details are scarce at this point, but should Prove You're Human play out anything like the studio's previous title, players should expect a wide variety of twists and turns along the way.

1000xRESIST was an unprecedented experience that felt both new and highly reminiscent of the original PS1 era, where diverging from the beaten commercial path was a much more common occurrence. With Prove You're Human, Sunset Visitor seems to remain heavily faithful to their vision, and that's why it has immediately become one of my most wanted games.

Prove You're Human has no confirmed release date just yet, but you can get 1000xRESIST for a more-than-reasonable price for PC on Steam while we wait.

Graveyard Keeper, a not-so-cozy pixel art management simulator, is now entirely free on Steam, but for a limited time. This comes amid Graveyard Keeper 2's announcement, with the original's price slashed to zero to celebrate this upcoming indie title.

Often compared to Stardew Valley in style and gameplay, Graveyard Keeper is a much more hardcore and morbid experience that puts you in the shoes of, you've guessed it, a graveyard manager keeping tabs on a medieval cemetery. The game features some of the best pixel graphics I've ever seen, with shading and textures that pop out more than some traditionally rendered titles of today. The water effects are so satisfying that I'd almost stoop into my screen to try and drink it. It's just so alluring.

And pretty visuals aren't the only thing the game has to offer. It has a full progression system where you craft, loot, and expand your undertaking business, explore vast areas, tackle dank dungeons, and unlock more and more technologies to help you do all of the above. Though often criticized for its challenging nature, Graveyard Keeper remains one of the most popular and successful games of its kind, which lets you sink countless hours before suddenly realizing the sun's come up.

Graveyard Keeper 2, announced today, promises this and a lot more. The graphics are much better, and the gameplay loop is much more epic in scope as you're set to liberate the world from a zombie apocalypse by raising an undead army to fight in your name, all the while managing a graveyard and restoring a town to its former glory.

The second game is yet to get a concrete release date, so in the meantime, you might as well play the hell out of the first one since it's free of charge. I know I will.

Pragmata, Capcom's new IP, is almost here. It's a mysterious and interesting science fiction title that'll finally break the company's focus on established franchises like Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, and Monster Hunter.

The pirate game to beat all pirate games, Windrose, is coming out into early access a lot sooner than I had anticipated, allowing us to sail the high seas as of April 14. That means we're just a few days away from getting stranded on islands, discovering strange creatures, looting, shooting, and pirating our way across the West Indies.

That was confirmed by the developers themselves in a new early access trailer on YouTube. The game will finally let us go beyond the limited demo, even if it was a massive demo indeed, letting us truly embrace the pirate within. I loved what the demo had to show, and it seems Windrose's early access program is going to be just as surprisingly packed with content as its free-to-play limited version was.

Compared to the demo, it seems the graphics were improved, there are a lot more outfits to wear, enemies to chop down or shoot at, and buildings to erect above azure shores. Every aspect of the game seems bigger and better, which is incredible considering it's been just a blink since we first encountered the demo that itself saw the game wishlisted by over a million people.

April 14 falls next Tuesday, and while it is a weekday, you'd better get your crew and first mate, as the sea never rests and everlasting winds blow toward the West, eagerly awaiting to hit your board and sails to take you into new adventures.

And the music is awesome, too, I just hope we'll get to hear a lot more of it by the time the early access launches (or within the game itself). Either way, time to put Ye Banished Privateers on 24/7 repeat until the game comes out.

Considered by many to be a spiritual successor to Sleeping Dogs, Samson is having a lot of trouble living up to the cult classic or just achieving a positive review score in general. Though charming in some aspects, the game is seeing horrible optimization problems, leading to a very middling reception and a "mixed" rating on Steam.

But its developers are well aware of all the problems players are facing, at least those that aren't inherently tied to the game's core design. In a Steam note posted today, Liquid Swords' creative director Christofer Sundberg thanked everyone who hopped onto the title, even if they didn't end up liking it. He highlighted that the game launched "with flaws" for "a number of reasons" and that developers are looking into "unacceptable" bugs and performance problems the community is facing at the moment.

"Early impressions are mixed, and many of you are experiencing game-breaking bugs and performance issues. That’s unacceptable and we are listening to everyone’s feedback and are hard at work to deliver the game we spent years of our lives developing," he wrote.

Liquid Swords remains "committed" to the game, the note reads, promising to grow it in every way imaginable, including "quality, gameplay, and content." To that end, a patch is set to come out Friday that will address some of the more pressing problems in the game, including crashes, general polish, more save files, and other technical fixes.

Animation improvements, performance issues, gameplay refinements, and more polish are to come in subsequent updates as the studio tries to turn community opinion around. True redemption stories are few and far between, with only Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky really pulling them off, though I am hopeful that this game will end up faring better than it is now. It's a $25 experience, so that itself gives it a lot more grace than the other two examples, both of which launched at $60.

Our Scott Duwe gave Samson a 6 out of 10, praising its unique concept, proper pricing, and short but packed main story while criticizing its technical side, particularly its poor vehicle handling, clunky combat, and bugs. Much of the same criticism can be found among the title's Steam reviews, with one top review saying that "melee combat and driving are the worst parts of this game."

Many others echo these sentiments. "Tons of bugs and glitches, sometimes even completely game-breaking. I couldn't proceed with the story further than mission two, so I just had to replay grindy missions over and over again till I paid my debt (the game's main goal) and... that's it," one review reads.

"It's just not good. The game feels heavily unfinished and extremely repetitive. The map is the size of a basketball court. The missions are the same things recycled over and over and over. The dialogue is very cringe and predictable. The driving is abysmal," reads another.

Games launching to less-than-stellar reviews is nothing new, but at least this time around, it won't cost you an arm and a leg to give it a try. Samson's pricing could actually end up having a very positive impact on Steam and video games as a whole, since developers could "get away" with certain corner cuts by currying favor with players with the price alone. Samson now has only 56 percent positive reviews on Steam and the "mixed" tag, but I am damn certain that it'd have even worse reviews had it been even slightly pricier.

At this price range, it now has a position to improve and win back some of those positive reviews, as there genuinely seems to be a good game hiding somewhere beneath all the jank.

A strange new mystery is afoot in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it seems like there might be a new villain lurking in the shadows somewhere. To start this questline, you need to tackle the A Tangled Web quest.

This mission is a pretty difficult one to unlock, but once you've got it, the actual tasks you need to get done are easy enough. Although it's a short and sweet one, it does have major main storyline implications, and is essential to check off to be ready for what comes next. The A Tangled Web quest is unlocked as soon as you complete Pocahontas's A Raccoon’s Return quest. This is her level 10 friendship quest, so to reach it, you first need to unlock Pocahontas through the Whispers in the Wind quest, then complete her level two quest, The Three Sisters Garden, her level four quest, Working Together, and her level seven quest, A Little Algae Problem.

You'll also have to have quite a few other key characters unlocked to tackle these missions, including Mike, Jasmine, Cinderella, Stitch, Mother Gothel, Merlin, Remy, Wall-E, and Cogsworth. Once all of these requirements are met, you can get to work on Pocahontas's level 10 quest.

As you rescue Meeko at the very end of A Raccoon's Return, you'll also uncover a mysterious letter from someone named The Realmweaver. Finding this letter and finishing Pocahontas's quest then triggers the A Tangled Web mission.

To finish the A Tangled Web quest, all you need to do is find the mysterious new door, snap a picture with it, and talk to Merlin a couple of times about the situation. Here's a full breakdown of everything you need to do in this mission.

First, meet up with Merlin to let him know about the letter you found during Pocahontas's A Raccoon's Return quest. He's not quite sure who The Realmweaver is, either, but you both can recall small bits and pieces about them, so you're one step closer to figuring it out. Merlin did, however, spot a strange new door inside the castle.

Next, head inside the Dream Castle in the Plaza. Once you're in, make a sharp left and walk over to the corner area. There's now an opening between the potted plants, and behind them, a mysterious new door.

Walk over to the mysterious door, then equip your phone to take a picture with it. This door looks like all of the Realm ones, but it's not active and cannot be entered. It also has a cracked symbol on the front instead of a Disney icon like the others.

How to find the secret cracked door in the castle in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The secret cracked door can be found in the bottom left corner on the first floor of the Dream Castle. It only appears after you've completed all of Pocahontas's quests, though, so if you go searching there at any point before this, you won't find it there.

Who is the Realmweaver in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

The true identity of The Realmweaver in DDV is currently unknown, but will be revealed as future updates are shared. Although we don't know who they are yet, we do have quite a few clues to think on. Here's everything we know about them so far.

• The Realmweaver took Pocahontas's Raccoon, Meeko, as "ANOTHER companion," implying that they have others. They let him go after he bit them and ate all the snacks in their hideout.
• They cryptically say, "I'll be seeing you, but will you be seeing me? Hehehe...," perhaps hinting that they have some kind of magical abilities related to invisibility or disappearing.
• Pocahontas says The Realmweaver seems to be a "trickster."
• Merlin can vaguely recall that The Realmweaver was "a trickster" who was "quite close to you in your youth."
• Merlin calls The Realmweaver a "mysterious being in the valley's shadows."

With these clues in mind, the most likely identity of The Realmweaver seems to be another original character, similar to The Forgotten or The Lorekeeper. This character doesn't seem to be evil, and is instead some kind of trickster, implying a more playful nature as opposed to a villainous one. Since they were also close to you in your youth, it feels more in line with the storyline to be an original character rather than a Disney one.

However, since all villains in DDV lean more playful than evil, it's certainly still possible this character could potentially be one of the missing iconic villains. Based on the teasers we've gotten, Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog seems like the best bet, as he's also called the Shadow Man and is well-versed in all kinds of trickery and magic.

It also seems possible it could be a more neutral or good-leaning Disney character. Bruno from Encanto seems like an especially good bet, as he's first portrayed as a villainous figure in the film until you come to learn that he was just misunderstood and is overall rather playful and goofy. He also loves food, has some powerful abilities, lurks in the shadows, and is close to lots of rat companions in the film, which could line up with The Realmweaver's comment about wanting another friend in Meeko.

The identity of The Realmweaver is unknown for now, but we're sure to learn more about them throughout other slated updates scheduled on the DDV roadmap for 2026.

Pocahontas's Celestial Celebration is finally here, but in the midst of the final preparations, a trail that leads to her missing friend Meeko appears in Disney Dreamlight Valley. To find the missing Raccoon and finally enjoy the festival, you need to tackle the A Raccoon's Return quest.

This is Pocahontas's level 10 friendship mission, which means it's her biggest and most complex quest. Since most of it revolves around a mystery, it's an especially tricky one to get done, so here's a complete walkthrough for the A Raccoon's Return quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete A Raccoon's Return in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Put the Moontide Glow decorations on Dazzle Beach

To start, Pocahontas asks you to place some Moontide Glow decorations around Dazzle Beach for the Celestial Celebration. Open your inventory, switch over to the Furniture tab, and select Pocahontas's quest icon. Place four Moontide Glow Lampposts and one Moontide Glow Banner anywhere within the Dazzle Beach region. Once you're done, meet up with Pocahontas to chat about what comes next.

Investigate inside the Cursed Cave

Remy had food for the celebration stored in the Cursed Cave, but something ate it, which means the festival is now in jeopardy. Head over to the Cursed Cave, which is located near the very eastern edge of the Dazzle Beach region. This is a different location from the Mystical Cave, which is another cavern in this biome located near the middle area.

Take a picture of the paw prints inside the Cursed Cave

Once you're in the cave, walk over to the left side to spot some glowing paw prints. Snap a picture with the paw prints, then track down Pocahontas to show her what you found. She recognizes the prints right away and is sure you can use them to find Meeko.

Gather materials for the Moontide Glow Necklace

To find more of Meeko's pawprints, you need a way to reveal them, which is where a special Moontide Glow Necklace comes into play. Next, you need to gather materials to craft this item, including:

• Five Glass – Can be crafted using five Sand and one Coal Ore.
• Five Fiber – Can be crafted using one Seaweed.
• Five White Impatiens – Can be found growing in the wild around the Forgotten Lands biome.
• Five Glowing Algae – Can be found by fishing and digging around Dazzle Beach. It can be found in some golden ripple spots while fishing, and dug up from regular sparkling spots around the area. I found three pieces from fishing and two from digging.

Once you have all the required resources, meet up with Pocahontas to give them to her.

Bring a Moontide Glow Necklace to villagers

Pocahontas will make and give you a few necklaces, so you then need to track down the required villagers to give each of them a Moontide Glow Necklace. Meet up with Wall-E, Mike, and Cinderella to grant each one of them this special accessory. After giving away the three necklaces, head back to the Cursed Cave to meet up with Pocahontas.

Put on the Moontide Glow Necklace and black clothes

Pocahontas has a necklace for you, too, so equip the Moontide Glow Necklace she grants you. After this, you'll also need to put on some black clothes to help the necklace shine brighter, making it easier to track down Meeko's paw prints. You can filter your closet with the required tags by clicking Pocahontas's quest icon.

Follow the paw prints on Dazzle Beach

Once you're dressed for the part, exit the Cursed Cave to arrive in the Dazzle Beach region. Look down to spot some glowing paw prints, and head down the beach, following their path as you go. Be sure to keep the Moontide Glow Necklace equipped for now, as you need it for the prints to appear, similar to how the Substitute Snout works in Lady and the Tramp quests like The Jailbreak, Meatballs, and The Spaghetti Incident.

If you lose track of the paw prints at any point, you can just head right to where they eventually end, which is the dock near the west end of the biome. Talk to Pocahontas at this location.

Talk to Merlin

A strange whirlpool manifested near the dock, and it seems like Meeko might be inside. You're unsure how to rescue him, though, so seek out the help of the valley's resident expert in anything and everything, Merlin.

Gather materials to make Raccoon Bait

Merlin says you need a special type of bait to rescue Meeko, so you now need to gather the required materials to craft some Raccoon Bait. The resources you need to obtain for this step are:

• Three Gooseberries – Can be picked from Gooseberry Bushes. There are six of these bushes around the valley, two of which initially start off in Frosted Heights, and four that originate from the Forgotten Lands. You can move them anywhere, though, so their exact location varies depending on what you did with them.
• Three Raspberries – Can be picked from Raspberry Bushes. Two bushes start off in the Plaza, and four start off in the Peaceful Meadow. They can freely be moved anywhere else, so they may be elsewhere in your valley.
• Three Blueberries – Can be picked from Blueberry Bushes. Two originate from Dazzle Beach, and three start off in the Forest of Valor. Like the other fruit bushes, you can move them anywhere, which means they are likely somewhere else in your village.
• Five Fiber – Can be crafted using one Seaweed.
• Five Dream Shards – Can be obtained by digging sparkling spots, feeding critters, and removing Night Thorns, Splinters of Fate, and Inkies.

Craft the Raccoon Bait

With the required resources gathered, head to any crafting station in your valley. Click on Pocahontas's quest icon and select the Raccoon Bait option to make this item. Then, meet up with Pocahontas to give it to her. Follow her over to the dock at Dazzle Beach and chat with her again there. After this, a cutscene will play as you finally manage to rescue Meeko.

Investigate the letter in your inventory

When the cutscene ends, Pocahontas will pass you a letter she found attached to Meeko's fur. Open your inventory and click on the letter, which is called The Realmweaver's Note, to open and read it. Chat with Pocahontas one last time after this to finish the A Raccoon's Return quest and officially unlock her level 10 friendship rewards.

VP, or Victory Points, is the main currency in Pokémon Champions, and you'll need to earn a lot of them. You'll need the currency for doing almost anything in the game, and you'll feel the pinch once you're a few hours in.

Thankfully, there are some key ways to earn them efficiently.

Best ways to farm VP in Pokémon Champions

First, you should complete all the available tutorials. This includes the advanced ones that teach you about concepts like Status Effects. This way, you'll get a total of 20,000 VP without spending any real-life money. This is a nice boost to have at the start of your adventures.

The initial fight tutorial grants you 10,000 VP. To get the rest, head to Training and then select Battle Tutorials. Some of them will offer VP, so you should complete those first. The others are also important, as you'll get free Mega Stones and other freebies.

• Complete the dailies without failure. You need to complete any three of your preference, and you'll get a total of 500 VP. Do this daily over a month, and you'll have 15,000 VP in a month (assuming there are no changes to the rate).
• Log in five times in a week, and you'll get 2,000 VP (you can repeat this four times a month, earning 8,000 VP).
• Win ranked battles to get more VP every week. Winning games also fetches you more VP compared to losses, and that's also something to keep in mind.
• Other weeklies include tasks like completing Mega Evolutions, recruiting more Pokémon, etc.

There's another bonus way of obtaining more VP if you've Pokémon HOME installed. If you transfer a Pokémon from HOME to Champions, you'll get 3,000 VP. This is a one-time reward only, but it's another reward you won't want to miss out on.

Finally, you'll get most of your VP by simply winning games. Even completing matches earns you VP, but winning gives you much more. Moreover, there's no daily or weekly cap on the amount of VP you can earn from Ranked games. Hence, you should aim to use the best possible Pokémon to increase the chances in your favor.

Pocahontas is still hard at work finding new ways to prepare for the Celestial Celebration she's planning, which means she regularly comes to you with new ideas in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This time around, she wants to find some Glowing Algae in the A Little Algae Problem quest.

You set off on an adventure away from the valley in this mission, which means you're in unfamiliar territory for most of it, making things rather tricky. If any part of this task leaves you stumped, here's a complete walkthrough for the A Little Algae Problem quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete A Little Algae Problem in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Ask some Villagers to help gather the Glowing Algae

First up, Pocahontas is hoping some other villagers are willing to help you out, as she wants to return to Moontide Island, the location where you first met her, to hunt for the Glowing Algae. She asks you to talk to some villagers on her behalf, so seek out Jasmine, Cinderella, and Mother Gothel to see if any of them are up for the task.

Use the boating gear in Pocahontas's Yehakin to go to Moontide Island

After getting answers from all three villagers, head over to Pocahontas's Yehakin, wherever you chose to place it in your village. Once you're inside, interact with the white sparkles on the ground by the wooden oars to use the boating gear to travel to Moontide Island. After landing on the island, chat with Pocahontas to see what you should do first.

Clear the rocks on Moontide Island

A storm made quite a mess on the island while you were away, so before you can set up camp with the group, you need to clear the rocks on the island. Equip your Royal Pickaxe and get rid of six rocks around the beach area. Talk to Pocahontas when you're done.

Gather Glowing Algae by digging around Moontide Island

Now that the camp is set up, it's time to gather Glowing Algae around the island. Equip your Royal Shovel and explore the island in search of sparkling dig spots. In total, you need to find and dig up five pieces of Glowing Algae.

All five dig spots are on the beachy part of the island. The easiest way to find them all is to make a loop around the entire outer edge of Moontide Island, as you'll naturally come across all of them by doing this. Once you have five pieces of Glowing Algae, talk to Pocahontas to pass them to her.

Gather materials

Pocahontas's next quest for you is to gather an array of materials for the camp you've set up on Mootide Island. All of the items she tasks you with gathering are as follows.

• 15 Softwood – Can be found on the ground near trees throughout some biomes. Regions you can check for it include the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust. With the A Rift in Time DLC, you can also check The Docks, The Courtyard, The Overlook, and The Ruins.
• 10 Hardwood – Can be found on the ground near trees throughout some biomes, including the Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Frosted Heights. If you have the Wishblossom Ranch DLC, you can also find it throughout Pixie Acres.
• Six Clay – Can be found by digging in certain biomes, including the Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, Forgotten Lands, and Pixie Acres.
• Four Glass – Can be crafted using five Sand and one Coal Ore.
• One Special Resin – Can be found inside Pocahontas's Yehakin. You must leave Moontide Island temporarily to grab it. It's sitting on the ground near the back right corner of her house, close to the drum.

Bring the materials to Jasmine on Moontide Island once you have everything you need. While you were gone, some kind of algae-eating creature trashed the place, and Pocahontas set out to try to find the culprit.

Find Pocahontas on Moontide Island

Pocahontas might need some backup, so set out to find her. Walk past Jasmine and Cinderella at camp and loop around the right edge of the island. Continue walking down the beach to find Pocahontas standing by a cave nearby.

Remove the rocks to reach the beast hiding in the cave

Equip your Royal Pickaxe and swing at the rocks next to Pocahontas to reveal the beast hidden inside the cave. Inside, you'll find Mike Wazowski, so it turns out the beast was actually just one of your friends from the valley. Chat with Mike to figure out what he's doing here.

Get on the boat and fish around Moontide Island

Mike didn't realize you were trying to gather the Glowing Algae and regrets eating all of it, so he offers to help to make it up to you. Follow Mike over to Moana's boat, which is the same one you used during the Whispers in the Wind quest.

Interact with the boat and select North: The Mystery Island Wreckage as your first destination. Equip your Royal Fishing Rod and toss the line into the golden ripple spot in the nearby water. Next, head to East: The Mystery Island Rocks, then South: The Mystery Island Beach to catch two more Glowing Algae. Finish off your fishing trip at West: The Mystery Island Dock, which is the only spot that has two golden pools for you to fish out of.

After visiting all four spots, you should have caught five pieces of Glowing Algae. Travel back to the island and chat with Pocahontas to give her all of the Glowing Algae you caught.

Take a picture with Pocahontas, Jasmine, Cinderella, and Mike on Moontide Island

To finish off this mission, take a picture with the full group in front of the decorations Pocahontas set up. You need to get Pocahontas, Jasmine, Cinderella, and Mike in the shot to check off this goal. Chat with Pocahontas one last time after taking this picture to complete the A Little Algae Problem quest. In this last chat, she mentions worrying about Meeko, but luckily, you're now one step closer to finding him.

Pocahontas is hard at work preparing for a special Celestial Celebration, but unfortunately, two of her helpers have started fighting in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Because of this, she calls upon you for assistance in the Working Together quest.

With so many villagers and different personalities roaming around the valley, it's natural that some of them butt heads from time to time. This time around, it's Stitch and Cogsworth struggling to get along, so here's a complete walkthrough for the Working Together quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete Working Together in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Go to the Dream Castle

After chatting with Pocahontas to start this mission, head over to the Dream Castle at the northern end of the Plaza biome. Once you're inside, turn left to find Stitch and Cogsworth arguing by a stage that's set up there. Listen to their argument, then have a chat with Pocahontas about what to do next.

Take pictures of the valley to inspire Cogsworth and Stitch

To help Cogsworth and Stitch get along, Pocahontas suggests that they spend the day in each other's shoes. You decide to take some pictures around the valley to help inspire them in their new roles. There are three spots you need to visit to snap some pictures.

• The Wishing Well in the Plaza. You can find this well in the center of the courtyard, which is right in front of the Dream Castle.
• One of the ponds in the Peaceful Meadow. There are three ponds situated around this biome, and snapping a picture with any of them counts for this task, so choose whichever one you like.
• The bridge of the Frosted Heights. Make your way over to the icy bridge that runs over the river in the southwest end of the biome and grab a picture with it.

Once you have all three photos taken, track down Pocahontas to show them to her and figure out what you can work on next to help Cogsworth and Stitch overcome their argument.

Gather flowers to create the Imperfect Bouquet

Next up, you need to gather an array of flowers to make an Imperfect Bouquet for Cogsworth. Before you can get to work crafting this item, you need to find:

• Five Dandelions – Can be found growing in the wild around the Plaza biome.
• Three Black Passion Lilies – Found around the Frosted Heights region.
• Three Green Rising Penstemon – Can be found throughout the Peaceful Meadow area.

After gathering all of the required flowers, find Pocahontas to give them to her.

Get the materials for the Stage Repair Kit

Now that you've found a way to help Cogsworth, it's time to shift your focus over to Stitch. He's having trouble fixing up the stage, so you decide to make him a Stage Repair Kit to help. To craft this item, you need to gather some key resources.

• One Stage Blueprint – Can be found sitting on a small table inside Belle and the Beast's house.
• 10 Hardwood – Can be found on the ground near trees throughout many different biomes, including the Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Frosted Heights. If you have the Wishblossom Ranch DLC, you can also find it throughout Pixie Acres.
• Four Iron Ingots – Can be crafted from Iron Ore, which is found by mining rock nodes in certain biomes, including the Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, Forgotten Lands, and Vitalys Mines areas around the main valley. With The Storybook Vale DLC installed, you can also find some around The Bind and Everafter.
• Three Rope – Can be crafted using Fiber, which is made from Seaweed.

Craft the Stage Repair Kit

With all of the required supplies gathered, head to any crafting station you have placed around the valley to make the Stage Repair Kit. You can find it by clicking on Pocahontas's quest icon.

Dress up in casual clothes to help repair the stage

Before you can lend Stitch a hand with fixing the stage, you need to look the part, which means you need to dress up in some casual clothes. Specifically, you must equip one casual top and one casual pants.

To find items that match this, open your inventory, click on the Wardrobe tab, and click on each of Pocahontas's quest icons under the Requests section. The first one will show you all casual tops you own, while the second filters by casual pants. Once you look the part, head back to the Dream Castle to meet up with Stitch.

Watch Stitch and Cogsworth practice together when you arrive to progress the quest. Then, chat with Pocahontas to give her the Stage Repair Kit. All your hard work has paid off, as Stitch and Cogsworth are finally getting along.

Place the Moontide Glow Stage

Exit the Dream Castle and enter furniture mode. Click on Pocahontas's quest icon, then select the Moontide Glow Stage item. Place it anywhere around the Dazzle Beach region. Then, chat with Pocahontas one last time to complete the Working Together quest, thus getting you one step closer to unlocking Meeko.

The Xeno Arena update in No Man's Sky has added the feature for you to collect and do monster battles with the different fauna that you can find in space. We already were able to tame and keep pets inside the game, but now, they can participate in battles.

Let's find out all the details you need to know to set up your own Pokémon battles in No Man's Sky.

How to start your first creature battle in No Man's Sky

Once you've completed a fair share of the early game quests, you'll find the Xeno Arena mission that will introduce you to these battles. You can battle other players at several locations, with the easiest one being at the Anomaly.

First, go to the Egg Sequencer to get an egg with suitable resources. Once the sequence is complete, go and speak with Oceanus. He will be your first fight, and you'll then have to select a team of three from your available creatures.

Complete the battle by defeating Oceanus, and you'll now be ready for completing more battles. Once the tutorial battle with Oceanus is done, you'll get an item called the Retroviral Pellet. Don't use the item immediately since you won't have more.

How to use Retroviral Pellets in No Man's Sky

Retroviral Pellet is a consumable for your creatures that allows you to modify and improve it. Creature upgrades are tier-based; you'll need to complete a tier before you reach the next one fully. You need to summon the creature and then feed it to the Retrovial Pellet to help it evolve. You'll then be able to mutate its genes to improve its stats and abilities.

Once you evolve your animal companion, Oceanus will provide you with the map for the second and third battles. Complete those, and you'll have unlocked the full battle system.

If you’ve ever accidentally deleted a Pokémon habitat in Pokopia, you know that, sometimes, it can be a total pain to find the Pokémon that was living there. Maybe it got lost, maybe it deliberately packed its things and took a hike—but the result is often the same: the Pokémon seemingly disappears from your town, and searching for them becomes nigh impossible.

Well, there’s some good news, Pokopia fans. The game just dropped a new update that prevents homeless Pokémon from vanishing into thin air alongside a wave of other fixes that should make rebuilding the world of Kanto that much easier.

Before today's patch, if you removed a Pokémon habitat, a 'mon living in it would sometimes disappear, and you wouldn't even be able to locate it through the Pokédex's "Search" function, which allows you to find any of your town's inhabitants who may have wandered off. The worst part is that it's incredibly easy to accidentally delete a Pokémon's habitat by picking up items or punching the wrong item when you're all hopped up on hamburgers. So sometimes, a Pokémon would seemingly cease to exist, and you'd be without even a single lead to find them.

Version 1.0.3, which went live in the late hours of April 8, has now fixed that issue, allowing you to easily track down homeless Pokémon without them disappearing. Additionally, the patch fixes glitches that resulted in players being unable to progress in the main storylines of Bleak Beach and Sparkling Skylands. Furthermore, construction projects will no longer be affected by a bug that prevented completion until a clock change.

If you’re an online player, you’ll be happy to learn that a couple of different Cloud Island errors have been addressed as well. Some players were encountering errors that prevented them from creating a new Cloud Island. In a second bug that was addressed in today’s patch, seasonal Pokémon would disappear from the town and Cloud Island if a player performed certain actions. Both bugs have been corrected with today’s update.

Voruna Prime has arrived in Warframe, and you can begin your farm to find all her parts to get yourself a new frame. The Prime version is a significant upgrade over her common variant, and it has upgraded stats (and killer looks).

Let's look at which relics you need to farm to get the parts for Voruna Prime.

How to get all Voruna Prime relics in Warframe

As usual, Voruna Prime has four parts. They can all be found from the following relics.

• Blueprint: Axi V14
• Chassis: Lith N19
• Systems: Neo V11
• Neuroptics: Meso D8

There are two Uncommon relics to farm: the Lith N19 and the Meso D8. The remaining two, Axi V14 and Neo V11, are Rares, and you'll have to try harder to find them.

Best places to farm Voruna Prime relics in Warframe

Here are the most efficient ways of finding all four relics.

• Lith: The Hepit in the Void is a great place to farm Lith relics. The mission can be completed quite quickly, and you can do better with a quicker Frame. You're almost always guaranteed a Lith relic drop from this quest, and you can farm them several times in a few minutes.
• Meso: Completing missions in Ukko will be your best chance for getting Meso relics. My favorite is the Olympus Disruption mission on Mars, but just about any quest here will reward you with Meso relics.
• Neo: The same node of Ukko as mentioned above will reward you with a Neo relic (you'll have 50% chance of receiving either a Meso or a Neo relic). As an alternative, you can also try the node at Ur in Uranus.
• Axi: To find Axi relics, your best chance is the Lua Disruption mode on Apollo. Once you defend the two conduits past Round 4, you'll guarantee an Axi drop.

Once you find the Prime relics, you'll then need to open them. To do so, head ot the navigation screen and begin Void Fissure missions. Pokémon Champions, the newest Pokémon battling game, hit digital shelves today, and it has become the talk of the town for fans worldwide. Mainly, the discourse is around many of the game’s more prominent technical issues, but some players are shining a light on it for a different reason.

As part of the game’s status conditions tutorial, players take on a Gallade with an Arcanine. There’s something unusual about this Gallade, though, as many eagle-eyed players have pointed out: It’s a female. Normally, the gender of an opposing Pokémon wouldn’t spark much discussion, except for the fact that Gallades can only be male. That’s sort of their whole shtick, really; they’re supposed to be the masculine counterpart to the more feminine Gardevoir (which actually can be male, though that’s a longer story).

Although it’s only a minor mistake, it’s an uncommon one for Pokémon games, and some fans on Reddit have said they’re surprised by the uncharacteristic mishap. It’s also a rather innocent one—one fans can actually laugh about, compared to many of the game's other shortcomings.

Pokémon Champions has several technical problems that fans most definitely aren’t shrugging off, including one that’s “[trapping] Pokémon in limbo” when players attempt to transfer them into the game from HOME, according to pro Pokémon player Justin “AzazeL” Carris. Other players have lamented the fact that the game is locked at 30 fps and that its menus run slowly. Even further still, some trainers are just simply disappointed with many of the game's limitations around battling, like how you can't 6v6.

Pokémon Champions arrived today in the eShop at the low price of free-fiddy—which is, to say, completely free, so maybe we shouldn't be too surprised at its faults. It’s not like any of the mainline series, however; it’s solely a battling game. In it, you can transfer creatures from Pokémon HOME and use them to battle opponents, or you can recruit them, like with your first Starter Pokémon. Recruited Pokémon aren’t permanent additions to your roster, just temporary ones that will leave your employ after a set amount of time.

Despite all of its issues, Pokémon Champions will act as the new home for the VGC, the series’ professional format, with the first official tournament being the Indianapolis Pokémon Regional Championships from May 29 to 31.

While the game hasn't been out for long, we can already identify certain choices that are clearly better than the rest.

GTA Online has been the subject of much conversation as the ramp-up to Grand Theft Auto 6's launch continues, and one industry source says players will be able to play the mode before 2026 is over.

Currently, Rockstar hasn't set any kind of release date for GTA Online in the new game, which has been supremely popular in the community over the last decade-plus in GTA 5. Even without official confirmation, though, we have some leaks rolling in about when Rockstar is planning to release GTA Online.

According to leaker @TheGhostOfHope on X, who has proven to be one of the most reliable industry sources on social media, GTA Online is set to arrive "within one month after the release of [GTA 6]."

This report is unsubstantiated by anyone but TheGhostOfHope at the moment, but the leaker has been reliable in the past. Previously, they were so accurate about Call of Duty leaks that Activision, the publisher behind the franchise, sent them a legal demand letter to stop reporting on inside information. Even outside of Call of Duty, though, TheGhostOfHope has reported correct leaks on a number of different games.

While we won't know if the leaker is right about their new GTA Online report, the timeline does match up for Rockstar. For reference, GTA Online was released just two weeks after the launch of GTA 5 in 2013. Of course, we're working with much different hardware and circumstances this time around, but Rockstar likely knows the potential of the online mode following its success over the past 12 years.

Apparently, though, Rockstar might only need a month to get it right. TheGhostOfHope's report is the first concrete leak we're hearing about GTA Online's timeline, and it's fairly surprising. Many fans, especially those on Reddit, pegged early 2027 as the most likely release window for the mode. That line of thinking reasoned that it would give players enough time in GTA 6's story mode and also ensure the developer had ample time to prepare for its release.

There's also a minority of players who don't want GTA Online to be released anywhere closer to Nov. 19. Fans on Reddit have said they want to give the story mode more time in the spotlight and hope the online mode doesn't launch until months after the main game.

Of course, there's another group of players in the community who believe a month is a perfect amount of time to wait between GTA 6 and the launch of Online. Looking at the responses to TheGhostOfHope's report, fans think it should take most players roughly a month to finish the story and complete everything they want in that mode.

When you think about it, however, an earlier release for GTA Online makes sense from a financial standpoint. A mid-December release date might give players more of an incentive to buy the game before or during the holidays. Not that GTA 6 won't sell incredibly well regardless of when Online launches, but extra fourth-quarter sales would certainly make parent company Take Two Interactive's share prices increase.

The window to claim rewards for Pokémon GO’s most recent event, A Shockingly Good Time, has officially closed. Now, however, a new update to the Style Store is short-circuiting the player base—for all the wrong reasons.

Outside of spawning a wave of Electric-type Pokémon, the event pulled in players for two reasons: Mimikyu made its debut, and two themed hoodies were added to the mobile game as wearable cosmetics. One of those items—the Busted Form top, a Mimikyu hoodie worn with the hood down—was available for direct purchase in the shop. The other, the Disguised Mimikyu Top (hood up, and arguably the better look), was locked behind the final tier of the event’s $5 deluxe pass.

Players could only earn levels in the pass while the event was live, and they had a couple days to claim any rewards once it ended. Now that the rewards-claiming period has wrapped, Niantic’s latest update to the game has fans in an uproar. In a move some fans are deeming as “scummy,” the developer added the Disguised Mimikyu top to the Style Store today, letting fans purchase what many believed was an event-exclusive cosmetic item for 250 PokéCoins, or roughly $2.50.

“Well that was a waste of $5,” one disgruntled player wrote in a Reddit comment. “I assumed the awesome hoodie would not be available for purchase and I had to have it. Lesson learned.” Others echoed the same sentiment, saying they only purchased the pass thinking the Disguised Mimikyu top would be exclusive to the rewards track.

To make matters worse, the Busted Form top also costs 250 PokéCoins, its original price point when it was first added to the store. That means players could have bought both cosmetic items for $5 after the event ended, instead of spending the cash on the pass. If they bought both the pass and the Busted Form top, that would’ve run them roughly $7.50.

Others in the Reddit thread pointed out that the deluxe pass offered additional benefits outside of the Disguised Form hoodie, like Premium Battle Passes, extra Stardust, and other useful items. But if you were someone who forked up the extra cash for the pass solely for the top, it makes sense why you might be frustrated to see it added to the store with a smaller price tag.

Niantic has yet to respond to players’ backlash regarding the addition of the Disguised Mimikyu hoodie to the Style Store.

How to Mega Evolve in Pokémon Champions

To Mega evolve in Pokémon Champions, you'll need something called Mega Stones. These Mega Stones are only available for the names listed in the tables above. There are different ways to get these stones.

• You can buy some of them directly from the store by using VP.
• Some can be unlocked from the premium version of the monthly pass.
• A few stones are handed out for free as part of objectives/tutorials.

Once you find a stone, hand it to the applicable Pokémon. When you're in a battle, press the R button to Mega evolve your Pokémon. You can only activate the ability once in every match, irrespective of how many Pokémon have an applicable Mega Stone in the lineup.

While new characters are generally the stars of the show, Disney Dreamlight Valley updates also sometimes add in adorable and iconic new animal friends to go with them. Pocahontas didn't arrive in the valley alone, as her beloved raccoon friend Meeko can be unlocked, too.

Since Meeko is a secret Companion, it's likely you have no idea how to go about meeting him and reuniting him with Pocahontas. He's an adorable little guy you'll want to meet as soon as possible, so here's how to unlock Meeko in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to get Pocahontas's Raccoon Meeko in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Meeko is a secret reward granted upon completing Pocahontas's level 10 friendship quest, which is called A Raccoon's Return. When you look at all of Pocahontas's friendship rewards, you won't see him listed since he's a secret Companion, similar to Pluto.

Luckily, you don't have to solve a complex questline involving mysterious Mementos to get him. Instead, all you need to do is max out your friendship with Pocahontas and fully finish her final mission. Here's a breakdown of everything you need to get done to get him.

• Unlock Pocahontas. You cannot recruit her loyal Companion without her already being in the valley, as he's only unlockable through one of her friendship quests.
• Complete Pocahontas's level two friendship quest, The Three Sisters Garden. In this mission, you help Pocahontas set up a traditional Three Sisters Garden and enjoy a cozy picnic alongside Wall-E.
• Complete Pocahontas's level four friendship quest, Working Together. This quest tasks you with helping Pocahontas do some prep work for the Celestial Celebration. Stitch and Cogsworth get into a heated argument during it, so most of the mission revolves around mending things between them.

• Complete Pocahontas's level seven friendship quest, A Little Algae Problem. Pocahontas wants to gather and use some Glowing Algae for her Celestial Celebration, so you're tasked with seeing if other villagers are willing to help out and setting out to gather this material.
• Complete Pocahontas's level 10 friendship quest, A Raccoon’s Return. This is the mission that actually unlocks Meeko. The Celestial Celebration is finally unfolding, but during it, you'll come across some paw prints that Pocahontas recognizes, thus leading you to hunt down the elusive Meeko.

Meeko is unlocked near the end of the quest when you go fishing at the dock in the Dazzle Beach biome with Pocahontas. Shortly after this, the A Racoon's Return quest is finished, and Meeko is unlocked as a Companion you can equip or assign to follow Pocahontas around. Since he's a character from a Disney film, he's listed under the Notable Companions category under the Wardrobe menu.

Meeko is a foraging Companion, which means he'll pick up and find extra of any items you can forage for. This includes items like Lemons, Coffee Beans, Basil, Raspberries, Garlic, Coconuts, Ginger, and Oregano. He can also hunt for certain special event items that spawn around the valley, like Wild Spring Eggs during the Eggstravaganza event.

Listen, not everything goes according to plan. Sometimes, life gives you lemons, and sometimes, your elevator platforms just won’t connect in Pokopia.

Okay, maybe that last one is a niche issue. But if you’re reading this, you’re probably struggling with it. It's quite frustrating when you build an elevator in Pokopia and go to test it out only to get a pop-up box saying “you need to connect it to another elevator platform.” Luckily, there’s an easy fix, though the game doesn’t make it clear.

How to build an elevator in Pokopia

Pokopia teaches you how to build an elevator as part of its main quest in Sparkling Skylands, and it’s relatively straightforward: place two elevator platforms and connect them with ladders. You'll automatically unlock the recipe for the item, which is as follows:

• 8 Glass
• 8 Concrete
• 2 Tinkagear

The game will make it easy when you build your first elevator as part of the main quest; it already has most of the ladder built with the two floors in place. All you need to do is add a couple extra ladders, plop down the platforms, and you’re good to go.

Unfortunately, this makes it easy to accidentally mess up the next elevator you create.

“You need to connect it to another elevator platform” fix

If you’ve built an elevator on your own, you might’ve run into an issue where you can’t get on your elevator and you get a dialogue box saying “you need to connect it to another elevator platform.” It won’t make sense in the moment, especially if you’ve placed two elevator platforms and already connected them with a ladder. But if you get this pop-up, chances are there’s something blocking your elevator’s path.

The shaft of the elevator needs to be completely clear, or else the platforms won’t connect properly. That means you can’t place a platform on a ledge with only an opening around the ladder; the entire floor beneath the platform needs to be cleared.

This was the issue I ran into when building my first elevator independent of the main quest line. Even though I had cleared around the platform, I had a few blocks placed in my elevator’s pathway, as you can see in the images below. Once I removed those blocks, the elevator lights flipped on, and I could then enter the device.

So if you’re getting the pop-up error, try double-checking your elevator’s path and make sure it’s completely clear.
