Our Verdict

Images on the landing page show some pretty low effort outfits. I think you could probably get away with a white tshirt that had some black bits taped on. It being worth it will really depend on how bad the lines are. We will repost on 7/14. 

I wouldn’t rely on this continuing to be available so if you were procrastinating or didn’t believe the rumors and want to product change an existing card I’d recommend doing it immediately. Citi does allow product changes via chat.  

On a personal note this hits close to home, this site was originally set up because I was unhappy with the information regarding credit reports and credit scoring models for consumers. We originally started covering credit cards and bank accounts as they begun to offer free scores for cardholders and customers. Over time that has obviously morphed into the content you (hopefully) enjoy today. 

I doubt this product from Chase/Dun & Bradstreet is particularly useful for most people and it seems like a lot of the data is currently inaccurate.

Normally availability is available 12 months out. This was part of the changes announced when new award tiers and levels were announced but we didn’t know any of the specifics. The new terms state:

For Free Night Award or Points + Cash Award reservations made on or after June 30, 2026, Explorists, Globalists, Lifetime Globalists, and primary cardholders of a Hyatt-branded Credit Card (regardless of tier status) will have advance access to booking as compared to other Members.

Eligibility for this benefit is based on tier status at the time of award booking and booking windows are based on the time zone of the applicable hotel or resort.

Our Verdict

Don’t actually think this is a huge change/benefit, normally getting access to awards isn’t an issue unless it’s something in ultra high demand and even in those cases most people chasing those aspirational redemptions will have either status or a card anyway so the pool of people you’re competing against doesn’t really diminish.

Reddit user ShadesMcCool first reported that cardholders are seeing a notification in their ‘At Work’ dashboard stating that the annual credit will no longer be available to Corportate card members effective August 27, 2026 and cardholders would be informed on 6/2/26. 

Not surprising this change was made when they stopped allowing new sign ups. They stopped allowing sign ups on August 29, 2025 so basically allowing those sign ups a full year. 

Update 4/16/26: Deal is back until 5/1/26. Terms now say ‘You’re required to keep your account active with Direct Deposit through Day 90 to receive the credit’. A lot of issues with this bonus in the comments so might not be worth even trying. Hat tip to reader Kwan

Our Verdict

We’ve seen a $600 bonus in the past, but that required a $15,000 deposit to get the full bonus. This is a better option for those without that extra money sitting around. We will add this to our list of the best bank account bonuses.

Our Verdict

The gas station needs to appear in the OnePay app and $1 is the minimum, seems like that is in addition to whatever you’d normally earn. Think this just uses the Upside backend white labeled so there should be plenty of gas station options. 

Doesn’t seem like you need to use a OnePay card either, as terms say you can have another card linked from your OnePay wallet. I won’t be surprised if this gets pulled early.

Do I need the OnePay Credit Card To Be Eligible?

No. Terms state:

Additionally, for all cards other than Deposit Account debit cards and builder cards, OnePay Points can only be earned through an Upside Offer when using the physical version of the card to make a purchase. For OnePay debit cards and builder cards, OnePay Points can be earned using either the virtual card or physical card to make a purchase. OnePay Points earned through Upside Offers will be provided within 2-10 business days following settlement of the applicable transaction.

So it seems like as long as you’ve added a card to your OnePay wallet and then use that physical card you’ll trigger the offer? Can get a referral bonus when signing up or a targeted bonus, more information here. 

Does this require OnePay+?

I don’t see anything in the terms that states you do, this comment confirms.

In some states (NY, CT, NJ, DC, VA, MD, CA, or NV) it’s possible to make the deposit bonus offer ($750/$1,500) significantly better by opening a savings account and linking it within 10 days of the checking account. Currently you can get 3.7% APY for the first three months. If you do the $200,000 deposit offer you are also eligible for Citi gold. Will stack with the Lunar new year promotion as well.

I can’t see the offer? Has it expired?

Probably not, if the offer isn’t showing for you then you need to try the following:

• Copy & paste the link rather than clicking the link

I can’t see where it says you can’t have had an account within the past 365 days?

• Look for the link that says ‘Offer’ and click it. Name of the link sometimes changes but you should be able to find it.

Is there an offer tracker?

Yes, there is an offer tracker but not everybody sees it unfortunately.

• You need to use the Citi app:
  • Services > Rewards & Upgrades > Explore Rewards > Select the checking account.
  • Scroll to Citi Checking Cash Bonus Offer – ??? (??? being the last 3 of the account number)
  • After a day of account opening you should see “Congratulations, You’re Enrolled!”
    • The $325/$425 offer has number of EDD’s completed, and totals.
    • The $750/$1500 offer has the exact dates you must meet & maintain the balance.

How do I stack with the 3.7% savings account?

Firstly this offer is only available in certain states (most likely NY, CT, NJ, DC, VA, MD, CA, or NV but might be more). You then need to do the following:

• Open checking account from promo page above
• Fund with a small amount
• Open the savings account using the savings promo link. This needs to be done after the checking account is opened but within 45 calendar days. 
• Fully fund savings account within 10 business days of opening it 

Optimal time to open the savings account is as close to the 45 calendar days as possible assuming the funds are earning more than 3.7% APY elsewhere (best savings rates here). I would give yourself significant grace time in case something goes wrong. 

How do I access the Citigold benefits?

Some people have been able to sign up for Citigold while doing this promotion and get the benefits for three months without depositing $200,000. You find can find a list of the benefits here. You need to activate your debit card before being able to access the Citigold benefits, you can enroll for the benefits here: https://citigold.citi.com/subscriptions.
