Topi is a 6 month old male Cross-Breed, expected to be medium size when fully grown. He is a bundle of joy who is very people-centred and loves being close to his humans. He loves cuddles, attention, and being involved in whatever his humans are doing.

Topi is everything you would expect from a young puppy: playful, curious, and full of life. He loves to run, explore, and play, and he learns quickly, especially when there are treats and praise involved. His eagerness to please makes him a lovely dog to train and grow with.

He would thrive with an active family who enjoys daily walks, adventures in nature, or even hiking. Topi would happily join in on family outings and would love to be part of everyday life rather than left on the sidelines.

Topi is friendly with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. He could live happily with another friendly, playful dog, or be the only dog in the home where he receives plenty of attention and activity.

Because he is still young, Topi will need time and patience to settle into a new environment and learn the routines of his new home. With kindness and guidance, he will quickly blossom into a truly wonderful companion.

He could live with older, dog-savvy children who understand how to interact respectfully with a puppy. If needed, he can also be tested with cats.

Topi is currently in Hungary and will travel to the UK once a home has been secured for him.

He comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, with an EU pet passport.

The right applicant will need to agree to have him neutered once fully grown.

Home check and adoption fee apply. Full RBU.

Agika is a 1 year old female Cross-Breed. She is a small mixed-breed girl looking for her forever family.

This little girl has suffered so much in her short life; still, she is a little miracle. She was rescued from a heartbreaking situation where she had been kept on a short chain that had grown deep into her neck.

Once she was released, the chain had to be surgically removed.

Despite a truly rough start, Agika is a real sweetheart—loving, affectionate, and full of life. When she was rescued, she was timid and afraid of the world.

However, she soon left her old self behind, learned that some people can be trusted, and has grown into a joyful dog who loves life, loves other dogs, and now loves people too.

She walks nicely on the lead and looks forward to her walks, which she does not get many of.

She loves attention and will happily accept any amount of cuddles or affection. Agika is ready to start a new life in a safe, loving home where she will be treated the way she has always deserved.

She wants to be part of the family and discover all the things she has not yet had the chance to see or sniff.

Experience with rescue dogs is preferred but is not essential, as all applications are assessed individually.

Agika is in Hungary and will travel to the UK once a home has been secured for her. She comes spayed and fully vaccinated, with an EU pet passport.

Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption fee. Full rescue backup is provided.

Gabriel is a medium sized crossbreed aged around eight years old. Gabriel fostered Norwich Norfolk.

Wow, I can’t believe I’m typing this boy an album, I don’t think anyone ever thought that I would….

Since the very building of the shelter, Gabriel was the heart and soul of Crivatu, he was moved there before the shelter was even finished being built and we have known and loved him since meeting him after lock down on our first visit there.

He was an integral part of my family summer holiday there a couple of years ago and a favourite with my adult children. He is special, I can’t tell you why he is but he just is and he is family to us all.

Every time we left at the end of a trip and he had to go back to spending his nights in a pen it hurt us and he cried for three days. He is perhaps not the easiest dog and he needs someone with a good level of experience.

He can be the only dog in the home or he can share his home with another non too boisterous dog. He can object when told to get off furniture, but he is very manageable to anyone who has dealt with these issues before.

He is a pleasure to walk, never reacted when the street dogs followed us down the street yapping at him, but he doesn’t like large vans or Lorries passing him. He is not good with cats.

This boy is just something special and anyone adopting him will have the most loyal friend. He lives for his walks and is so grateful for all time put into him.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog.

If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs).

The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night).

Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure.

The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm.

Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer.

Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs.

Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a crate.

Fences and gates must be 5foot minimum in height and secure.

If you are interested please message.

Phillip is a medium sized crossbreed plonked on a small dogs legs! He is around eight years old and fostered Norwich Norfolk.

This is a very special little man who comes with his own fan club/following. He has lived at the Crivatu shelter in Romania for the last few years and been a big part of all of our trips there.

He has been very happy there living freely and doing as he pleases. A combination of a change of ownership at the shelter, and our boy being older now led us to decide that it was his turn to come to the UK now and find his own living home.

Phillip has adapted very well to domestic life and really enjoys being around humans a lot more. He has been fabulous with the other dogs in his foster home but is also connected enough to humans to live as the only dog.

He is initially a little hesitant with strangers but once his trust is earned you wouldn’t find a more loyal friend and companion.

Phillip enjoys his walks but is still a little cautious of having his lead put on as he’s run freely for so long. This is improving daily as he’s learning that leads mean being taken to interesting places.

He has become a little rotund at the shelter so his fitness level will need to be increased in the coming weeks.

Phillip would like an adult home environment with no cats.

Meet lovely Nala.

Nala is a 4 year old female Cross-Breed, D.O.B. 14/09/2021, who was rescued in Romania in September 2024 along with her 9 puppies. She is a sweet, gentle dog who is still learning to trust people.

She is naturally cautious and nervous around new people but is gradually opening up to her foster and showing her true nature.

Nala would benefit from a calm, quiet environment to help her feel safe and take things at her own pace. Ideally, she needs to live with another calm, confident resident dog or dogs who can help her gain trust in her surroundings.

Nala weighs approximately 20kg and stands 50cm tall from floor to withers. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and enjoys the company of other dogs. She takes no notice of cats. Due to Nala’s shyness, we recommend a home without children.

Nala can be left for a few hours as long as she has the company of other dogs. She is happy to sleep downstairs in her basket at night.

Nala is currently in Cullompton, Devon. However, transport can be arranged for the right adopter.

Stray2Me is a UK registered charity (No. 1186687), with trustees and volunteers across the country.

Home check and adoption donation apply. Full rescue backup and support provided.

Mikey is a small to medium, 18 month old male bodeguero ratonero.

Introducing Mikey, a very handsome little Spanish Ratonero Bodeguero whose cheerful personality shines through every day.

Mikey is approximately 18 months old and weighs around 10kg, making him a small companion with a big heart. Several months ago, Mikey was found running frantically in the area, confused, lost, and hungry.

Thanks to the dedication of caring volunteers, Mikey has truly blossomed and is now a happy, confident little dog who brings joy wherever they go.

Mikey loves his daily walks with volunteers and enthusiastically plays with other kennel mates. Surrounded by ten other dogs of various ages, sizes, and both males and females, Mikey gets along well and enjoys being part of the group.

While he can be a little nervous when meeting new dogs, Mikey’s bravery soon shines through with proper introductions, quickly becoming a playful friend.

Recently neutered and fully vaccinated, Mikey’s blood tests are all clear, and they are ready to find their very own family. Mikey’s affectionate nature means they love curling up on a human lap for cuddles, and their enthusiasm is contagious.

Imagine Mikey curling up beside you after a long walk, bringing warmth and happiness to your home. Mikey is very good on the lead and harness and would adapt well to a variety of home environments, thriving with love and companionship.

Trixy is a 1.5-year-old, smaller medium crossbreed girl with a heart full of love. She was rescued from the streets alongside her mum (a Dachshund cross) and four siblings.

Three of the pups, including Trixy, are still waiting for their happy ending in a shelter in Hungary.

Trixy is a lively, playful young girl who sometimes shows a little shyness at first. But once she feels safe, her sweet, cuddly side shines through — she only needs love, patience, and kindness to truly thrive.

She adores playing with her doggie friends and gets along well with them.

She is friendly with people, including children, and enjoys her walks, trotting happily on the lead. Trixy would be happiest in a family where she isn’t left alone for long hours and is treated as a true member of the family — joining in on adventures, cuddles, and daily life.

She could easily share her home with another playful, gentle dog, or be the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention. Like all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, and commitment from her new family to settle and blossom into the wonderful companion she is meant to be.

Trixy is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK once her perfect family is found. She will come spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption fee. Full RBU provided.

Cooper, 9-month-old cross-breed boy and is xpected to be medium size.

Cooper was found with his three siblings in a heartbreaking state — abandoned, frightened, and completely unsure of people. With no trace of their parents and no one to care for them, these babies had every reason to be scared.

But little Cooper is slowly learning that the world isn’t such a frightening place. Day by day, he’s opening up, watching everything around him with quiet curiosity. He loves observing the world — taking it all in with those soft, soulful eyes.

Cooper has a timid, gentle, playful nature. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality shines through, and he shows just how loving and kind he truly is.

He’ll need a family who understands that confidence grows from patience, kindness, and routine — and who will help him continue his journey from fear to trust.

Cooper comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, with an EU pet passport.

Ready to travel in January.

Adoption with contract, neutering obligation, and follow-up.

Home Check and Adoption fee apply. Full RBU.

Meet Apollo – a gentle soul ready for a new life.

Apollo, a 3.5-year-old medium size cross-breed boy, whose life until now has been far from kind, has finally been freed from a life lived on a chain. Yet somehow, despite everything, he has held onto his sweetness, his trust, and his huge heart.

Apollo is incredibly human-centred, affectionate, and loving — the kind of dog who just wants to be close to people and soak up kindness.

He is wonderfully sociable with other dogs, big and small, and plays beautifully and politely with them. He’s also an absolute dream at the vets, calm and cooperative — everyone who meets him falls for his sweet nature.

He even has the potential to live with cats; in his previous life, he used to sleep in his dog house with a cat companion, sharing warmth and comfort.

He travels nicely in the car, walks well on the lead, and is more than ready to start discovering what family life means.

Currently, Apollo lives in boarding kennels, hoping that one day someone will finally choose him.

Apollo has so much love to give — he just needs someone who will finally give him the life he has always deserved. ?

Apollo comes neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

He is ready to travel from Hungary as soon as his family is found.

Home check and adoption fee apply. Full RBU provided.
