Infidelity Support Group

This is a FREE support group for individuals (betrayed spouses, whether divorced or reconciling) and for couples, both betrayed spouses and straying spouses, who are working toward reconciliation.

This group is unique in that both betrayed and straying spouses are represented. This is a group that focuses on understanding the dynamics of infidelity from both sides in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment. This group emphasizes trust-rebuilding behaviors for the straying spouse and helps the betrayed spouse foster a spirit of forgiveness.

Finding Forgiveness

Betrayed spouses often struggle with finding a spirit of forgiveness after learning
of their spouse's infidelity. Understanding the accurate definition of forgiveness
aids in facilitating the often, counterintuitive process of forgiveness. Many
distortions are associated with forgiveness and act as obstacles to developing a forgiving spirit. Forgiveness is a process in which a person chooses to let go of any anger, bitterness, or desire for retribution after experiencing an offense committed by another.

Facts about forgiveness:

Forgiveness does not mean forgetting.
Forgiveness does not always require reconciliation or continuation of a relationship.
Forgiveness does not condone or support the offense itself.
Forgiveness does not imply weakness, but rather suggests maturity.
Forgiveness is necessary for personal healing.
Forgiveness is not contingent upon an apology or repentance.
No offenses are exempt from forgiveness.

The new What Happens After Shattered? book launches soon!

"What Happens After Shattered?" is a Christian based self-help book that deals with the subject of infidelity and how to deal with it and recover. A synopsis can be found here. The book is in the final publishing stages now and we are opening sign ups for the kick off blog tour as well as ongoing social media outreach. Please fill out the information below. Once we have final dates for the blog tour, we will be in touch with more details. We are looking for a variety of blogs and blog themes. Christian bloggers, Book Bloggers, Family Bloggers, Review Bloggers, etc. Also - while we will be selecting a limited number of bloggers for the tour, we will also use this list for the ongoing blog reviews....so if you are not selected for the initial tour, there are still opportunities in the future.
