The game offers quick strategy matches where you constantly upgrade heroes, stats, and abilities. That alongside trying to survive increasingly chaotic battles against AI opponents or real people online.

You constantly mess around with different combinations. One run might have you flooding the battlefield with a ridiculous number of low-level units just to overwhelm everything through sheer numbers. Another might revolve around building a tiny squad of absurdly strong upgraded heroes that carry the whole fight themselves.

A big part of the gameplay revolves around drafting heroes and stacking copies of the same character together to level them up. You can either keep multiple copies of heroes active on the field or merge them with copies found in the shop.

Some of the weird combinations in the game include an Archer built around extremely fast attack speed or a Summoner capable of sharing power with summoned units. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game below.

Of course, Some of You May Die is a roguelike autobattler

The combat plays out automatically once fights start. You can deal with enemy setups, counter strategies, reroll for different options, and decide carefully where resources are spent.

Matches are fairly short too, with most sessions lasting somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes. That applies across both the single-player mode and the online multiplayer PvP mode.

The Fishing event in Melon Sandbox turns you into a tiny fisherman

You’re heading out onto open water with an upgradeable fishing rod. You drop your hook deeper and deeper into the ocean while a depth meter tracks how far down they’ve gone. Different layers underwater contain different kinds of sealife.

Once something bites, the gameplay shifts into a quick catch phase. You drag the hook across the screen, trying to grab as many fish as possible before reeling everything back in. The fish you collect can be traded for currency.

Better equipment means better catches, naturally. You can strengthen fishing lines to increase maximum depth. You can upgrade hooks to carry more fish at once and also add sinkers for extra boosts while diving deeper into the ocean.

There’s also a bunch of extra reward systems. The Collections tab keeps track of every species you find, sorted by depth level. Completing an entire collection for a certain depth rewards bonus earnings.

Daily challenges are part of the Fishing event in Melon Sandbox. Some tasks involve spending bait, while others focus on catching specific sealife. Completing these challenges rewards extra currency. One of the important rewards is Mels, the currency used in the Melon Sandbox Marketplace for mods and cosmetics.

Do you play the game?

For a game mostly known for ragdoll physics carnage, it’s kind of funny seeing fishing added into it. Melon Sandbox has already spent years leaning into weird sandbox experimentation anyway. The game originally launched in 2022 with chaotic physics experiments using vehicles, explosives, weapons, tools, and anything else they could smash together.

Feed the Family

The best way to get energy is to feed the family. Just like in real life, you need to eat food to get the energy to do stuff. So, give them regular meals!

Wait

You get free energy at regular intervals, so if you’ve run out and you’ve used all of the links above, the best thing to do is wait. Just don’t wait too long, as once you’ve hit your energy cap, you won’t earn any more.

A grim monochrome survival horror is what Dead Be The Fallen is

The game throws you into a black-and-white nightmare world. Here, you’re trying to survive with little more than a shotgun, your instincts, and courage. The big idea is tension over spectacle. Ammo is scarce, every shell matters, and wasting resources will get you killed fast.

Dead Be The Fallen is claustrophobic. Movement is deliberate, encounters are aggressive, and you need to think before firing because resources are scarce. The game leans heavily into resource management and survival elements. You dodge attacks, pick enemies carefully, manage inventory while moving, all while navigating dark prison corridors.

Visually, the monochrome approach is easily the most noticeable thing about the game. Everything is rendered in stark black and white, with lighting and shadows doing most of the heavy lifting for atmosphere. There are deep shadows, harsh lighting, and little bursts of vibrant red cutting through the darkness.

The sound design includes immersive audio. The environments feel oppressive and constantly threatening, with eerie ambient noise and sudden enemy encounters keeping the tension high the entire time.

The game makes a lot of promises

The developer has highlighted disturbing visuals, nonstop tension, scary enemies, eerie corridors, and a mysterious truth surrounding the fallen who rule the dark world. All you need to do is survive, conserve ammo, and uncover what happened inside this nightmare prison.

Hide & Seek Party takes the normal childhood game idea and turns it into something supernatural. Matches support up to twelve players split into two sides. One team plays as hiders who are possessed by creatures called Mysterious Grimkin.

Meanwhile, the other side becomes Investigative Journalists trying to uncover them. The gimmick is that the Grimkin Hosts can shapeshift into identical furniture pieces around the house. The Investigative Journalists aren’t left behind either.

They get to run around with a gadget called the Survey Drone. It’s a special camera used to photograph suspicious-looking objects and expose hidden Grimkin. So, if you enjoy chasing and sneaking around, this mode’s for you.

The other new addition, Parkour Party, goes in a completely different direction. This one lets you build obstacle courses throughout your home using furniture, platforms, walls, pillars, and trap items.

Some of the new traps are available at Bob’s furniture shop and the Research Lab. Basically, this new party mode in Heartopia creates increasingly ridiculous platforming challenges. They let you jump between obstacles, dodge pitfalls, and race for the fastest completion times to climb leaderboard rankings.

The Heartopia party mode update also changes how parties and towns work overall

A new Party Festival event system now lets you join public parties outside your own town for the first time. Also, you can now enter towns as visitors even if those towns are technically already full. So, from now onwards, getting locked out should happen less often.

There’s also a limited-time event called Kid-at-Heart Party beginning on May 28th. Finishing the Party Mode Update tasks can unlock exclusive Heartopia accessories and furniture rewards. There’s also a new Exhibition called Lustrous Parade. It includes the Floral Note and Feather String outfit sets as well as the Paradise furniture set.

There’s a lot to experience in this update. So, grab Heartopia from the Google Play Store if you haven’t already.

Nullscape Entities Tier List

Above you’ll see a visual representation of our different tiers. You can use this for a quick reference, but we’ll also go into more detail in the text below. Unlike a lot of our tier lists, you should aim to pick adversaries that are nearer to the bottom of the tier list, as we think these are the least dangerous.

AAAaaaAAAAAaaaaAAA! Tier

So named because that is the noise made when one is chasing you. These are the most hazardous entities in the game right now. Only pick them if you absolutely have to.

• Flesh
  • It’s fast, aggressive and it inflicts debuff on you. Make sure you have at least one Bell active before you even think about taking this.
• Telefragger
  • Infuriatingly unpredictable. You are never safe when the evil stickman is in play.
• Voidbound Baby
  • Everything you hated about Baby, with even more to hate!

Be Afraid Tier

You should keep your head on a swivel if these entities are active. They’re strong and hard to avoid.

• Cadence
  • Another adversary that requires a lot of your time and attention to manage, which can make for a bit of a headache.
• Voidbound Guardian
  • It’s Guardian, but worse.
• Scrapmaw
  • Aggressive and chaotic, this thing is not going to give you a lot of breathing space between the direct attacks and projectiles.
• Baby
  • Fast and relatively unpredictable, and available surprisingly early for how much of a pain it can be.

Caution Tier

A bit more manageable than the above tiers, but don’t take these too lightly, they can quite easily get you if you’re not on guard.

• Guardian
  • Not too complicated, and telegraphs its attack easily, but having a ranged attack makes it potentially dangerous.
• ICBM
  • Forces you to switch up your immediate plan or face annihilation. Fairly predictable but can mess you up as things get more chaotic.
• Voidbreaker
  • Think fast! Or don’t and get stabbed with a big scary sword. This enemy keeps you on your toes and can break your focus.
• Kolona
  • Its gimmick is relatively complicated, and so pretty tough to do on the fly, especially when you have a half dozen other monsters competing for your attention.

Don’t Worry About It Tier

These are generally good enemy picks. They’re fairly predictable once you know their patterns, so you can manage them… just don’t get TOO comfortable.

• Husk
  • Does create an ongoing pressure on you, but has very predictable patterns. As long as you keep moving then you’ll be fine.
• Springer
  • The very telegraphed stomp is easy to avoid… but don’t get too greedy and run underneath. Combining Springer with things like Husk can make things a bit more complicated, but it’s usually a better pick than most adversaries.
• Operator
  • Might kill you to start with, but once you understand its gimmick it becomes a lot easier to handle. This one can be troublesome alongside Husk, but it’s generally a good choice.
• Mart
  • Mart is an easy adversary… unless you get too many of the active at once. Then he might become a problem. Otherwise, have at it. Might be better to pick alongside Husk than either Springer or Operator.

Enjoy An Easy Time Tier

These are pretty much always a safe pick.

• Bell
  • Unless you’ve picked a curse that makes it more dangerous, Bell is practically harmless to you other than providing a minor distraction. If this comes up, pick it first.

All About Grow A Garden Easter Eggfruit

Update: With the close of Easter 2026, the Easter Eggfruit Seed is no longer generally available, all the information below is now considered legacy info.

What Is The Easter Eggfruit?

Easter Eggfruit are currently the rarest Easter Fruit in the latest event. As the name might suggest, the plant grows fruit that look like Easter Eggs. You plant these plants in your Easter Garden, and can sell the resulting fruit for Chocolate Coins.

Here’s where it gets a little complicated. There is the event-only Easter Eggfruit, which you can only use in your Easter Garden. We’ll call that Easter Eggfruit (Event) There is also the one you can get from the Easter Seed pack which you can plant in your regular garden. We’ll call this Easter Eggfruit (Seed Pack).

How Do You Get The Easter Eggfruit?

The Easter Eggfruit (Event) is available from the Easter Shop. This is found in the centre of the field, opposite the Easter Bunny.

Unlike regular crops, all the Easter Fruit are bought with the event-specific currency, Chocolate Coins. There are two ways to get Chocolate Coins right now:

• Selling Easter Fruit. Rather than regular GaG money, Easter Fruit all sell for Chocolate Coins at the Easter sell stand. (You can find this in the centre of the field.) Rarer crops will sell for more coins.
• Taking part in the Easter Egg Hunt. Speak to the Easter Bunny opposite the Easter Shop every 15 minutes to take part in an Easter Egg Hunt. This will hide Easter Eggs all around the field. Find ten of them and interact with them to get a random reward. This can net you anything from 500 to 5000 Chocolate Coins. (It can also give you Golden Eggs or Crates, but that’s nothing to complain about.)

Easter Eggfruit (Seed Pack) is available from the Easter Seed Pack. You can get this from the Easter Event by completing the Angry Plant requests. You’ll find the plant in the middle of the field. You need to feed him whatever Easter crop he’s asking for, and it needs to be over the weight shown. On feeding it to the plant, he will give you a Seed Pack. On opening it there’s a 0.5% chance to get an Eggfruit tree that you can plant in your regular garden.

Is The Easter Eggfruit The Same As The Easter Egg?

You might have seen other Easter Egg plants already in gardens before this event. These are not the same thing. They were one of the limited plants available as part of the old Easter 2025 event, and sell for regular currency.

Easter Eggfruit are new for 2026 and are in a whole different rarity category… though it’s easy to see why someone might get them mixed up.

Oddmar

A brilliantly balanced Viking-themed cartoon platformer that sees you traversing 24 different levels to try and redeem yourself in the eyes of your clan. It’s slick, just the right amount of challenging and loads of fun. The first chunk is free and you can unlock the rest with an IAP if you like what you see.

Grimvalor

A game that’s equal parts platforming and action. Work your way through a series of challenging fights, upgrade your character with new equipment and skills and try and stay alive long enough to get to the end. It’s tough, but it’s super rewarding. The first part is free and there’s an IAP to unlock the rest with a one-time payment.

Leo’s Fortune

A gorgeous-looking fable about greed, family and large mustaches. You’re a bouncing ball of fluff out to regain your gold after it’s stolen by your brother. This one is slick and just deep enough to keep your attention.

Dead Cells

Sometimes describing Dead Cells feels like you’re just listing off modern gaming buzzwords. But the fact of the matter is, it’s really, really good. It’s a roguelite metroidvania with some soulslike elements where you return to the dungeons you emerged from each time you die… and the warped island you need to conquer changes itself.

Flow of time convoluted, something something.

It’s hard, but controls so well that getting wiped never really feels unfair.

Levelhead

This is a title from the devs behind Crashlands. (Which may feature on some of out other genre lists.) Levelhead isn’t just a platformer, it lets you build your own levels as well. If you’re looking for an experience packed with creative possibilities, then Levelhead is definitely that. The leaping is ace too. You get everything with a single up-front payment.

LIMBO

A bleak journey through a shadowy and hostile world that seems highly dedicated to wanting you dead. You get shocks, surprises, and an art style copied countless times since the game came out. It’s just as good on mobile as on any other platform, and it’s premium too.

As you might guess from the image, there’s also a VERY big spider, so arachnophobes may want to pass on this particular title.

Super Dangerous Dungeons

A retro-tastic platformer that mixes together challenge and charm in equal measure. It’s full of neat ideas, the controls are impressive and there’s a real sense of accomplishment when you get past a tricky section. It’s free, with an IAP to get rid of the ads.

Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition

A smart, swipey action platformer that blends together the modern and the old school in some really intriguing ways. It might take a while to click, but when it does you’re going to love every second of it. This one’s a premium release as well.

Ordia

Platforming one-handed? It’s doable in Ordia, where you only need one finger engaged to play, as you help the slimy little ooze-ball navigate a strange and colorful world. Perfect for killing some time on the bus or train.

Teslagrad

Master the forces of physics in this cute but depth-filled platformer. Armed with some ancient tech, it’s up to you to scale the dangerous heights of the Tesla Tower. Another plus, it’s optimized specifically for controller use.

Little Nightmares

A port of the PC and console title, Little Nightmares presents you with a grim 3D world to explore as a tiny, yellow-coated girl. You must hop around a place far too big for you, and evade its hideous inhabitants that trapped you there.

Dadish 3D

3D Platformers don’t really get the love they deserve on the platform, but one game that gives them that attention is Dadish 3D, the most recent in the Dadish series. All of its entries could make the list in their own right, but if you’re nostalgic for 3D character platformers, then this will bring you home.

Super Cat Tales 2

If you want something colorful, lively, full of character, and inspired by a certain Italian plumber, then take a peek at Super Cat Tales 2. It comes with over 100 levels to explore, so should keep you occupied for a while.

Oddworld: New N Tasty

Oddworld on Android? That’s right! In fact, the impressive remake gives you the whole of the first game to enjoy. There’s platforming, puzzles, psychic powers, and farting on command. What more could you ask for?

Fancy Pants Adventures

Anyone around in the flash games golden age will have a rush of nostalgia seeing one of the old Newgrounds classics in the play store. To anyone not initiated, it’s a platformer with sketchy visuals and an intensely satisfying momentum-based mechanic. Welcome back, old friend.

Shadow Trick

Shadow Wizard Money Gang. A puzzle platformer featuring a little hooded figure with a power that lets you jump into shadows. This forms the central gimmick of the game. The jumping controls are a little bit on the heavy side, but the mechanics are genuinely fun to mess with.

Gris

Gris has made some of our other genre lists, but it spans enough genres, and is enough of a heavy hitter that I don’t think the double mention is undeserved. Gris is a platformer, though it’s primarily about exploring, puzzle solving, and drinking in the almost text-free narrative design. We’d say a controller is nearly a must in unless you’re the kind of person that would play Elden Ring with a keyboard and mouse.

The story of a Slime Rancher

You play as Beatrix LeBeau, a rancher who leaves Earth behind and heads a thousand light-years away to a place called the Far, Far Range. The story is mostly told through notes left behind by the ranch’s previous owner, guiding Beatrix during her time in the new place.

You catch slimes, raise them, feed them, sell their plorts, make money, and improve the ranch. That’s the initial loop. But then you also deal with weird hybrid slime species, manage food supplies, explore dangerous areas, and accidentally spend way too much time organising corrals.

Slime Rancher lets you use a gadget called the vacpack to suck up slimes and resources. Some slimes are easy to deal with, others are picky, and some come with special requirements if you want to keep them happy and productive. You can also combine slime species to discover hybrids.

A lot of the game revolves around rebuilding the abandoned ranch and uncovering more of the planet. Areas like the sandy Dry Reef, the overgrown Moss Blanket, and the crystal-filled Indigo Quarry all show up during exploration. You’ll also find hidden treasures and resources.

What’s special on mobile?

The Slime Rancher mobile version obviously has a fully revamped mobile UI with complete touch controls. You also get Google Play Games achievements, cloud saves between Android devices, and controller compatibility.

There are three different game modes available. Adventure Mode is the standard experience where you deal with the full ranching loop and its problems as intended. Casual Mode tones things down for a more relaxed playthrough. Lastly, Rush Mode pushes you to move faster and optimise your progress.

Slime Rancher is now available on the Google Play Store. Usually priced at $7.99, it’s currently live with a launch discount of 10%.

MLB The Show Mobile revolves around collecting Topps player cards and building a squad. You then take those teams into quick matches where every at-bat matters. Although it’s more like a card battler with MLB gameplay, it’s still fun and free-to-play friendly.

PlayStation spent 20 years making console baseball games, so this one is a first for them. But it doesn’t disappoint. MLB The Show Mobile avoids the exhausting grind that console players deal with in modes like Mini Seasons.

Who’s featured in MLB The Show Mobile?

You collect hundreds, actually more than a thousand, different player cards pulled from current MLB stars and baseball legends. Names like Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron, Ken Griffey Jr., Jimmy Rollins, Derek Jeter, Nolan Arenado, Luis Severino, and Mike Stanton are all part of the roster.

There’s no traditional batting order setup and no real pitching rotation system either. At the start of a match, your squad gets shuffled into a deck, and you draw four player cards to begin. Before each at-bat, you choose which card to play, then after the at-bat, you draw another card.

Every card costs Momentum, and you only start with 10 Momentum available. Some cards also carry special abilities that can buff teammates, generate more Momentum, or mess with opponents. Also, hitting, pitching, and fielding are all playable directly.

There are also several different modes in MLB The Show Mobile. Moments are short scenario challenges where you recreate famous baseball plays or complete stat-focused objectives for quick rewards.

Head-to-head mode is more of a turn-based baseball minigame competition where players post scores against each other without necessarily being online simultaneously. Seasons mode spreads 3-inning games across a map you explore while collecting extra rewards.
