Vollara FreshAir Box

If you are in need of an air purifier and you don't have the big money that a full house model requires, the solution is the FreshAir Box by Vollara, formerly EcoQuest International. The unit also has a UV light to help kill additional germs, and just like the bigger unit called the FreshAir Surround, it also has a high intensity mode called he away mode (where you obviously have to be away from your home) that will sanitize and super clean your air leaving it fresh and clean smelling and with less germs.

This mode runs for 2 hours and runs at the highest settings available in this machine. The maximum output of activated oxygen, or more commonly known as ozone, is used and the building or home where the machine is must be unoccupied. But it is worth the 2 hour wait because of what happens to the air in your home.

The name Vollara is the new name given to the company that was once known as EcoQuest International. The company formerly based in Greeneville Tennessee is well known for selling an advanced line of air purifiers, supplements, vitamins and other environmental technology healthy living products.

The name Vollara is a verb from the Latin and means, "to fly". I can't say that I've ever heard of the name before, or whether it's just a derivation from whatever Latin word it comes from.

The company will manufacture many different kinds of air purifiers that will clean the air in your home and office. It will also sell a line of supplements and vitamins and energy drink from Muscadine grapes.

This new restructuring from EcoQuest International to Vollara is being billed as a "ground floor opportunity" which is a bit misleading since EcoQuest has been around for at least 10 years and for 10 years before that it was known as Alpine Industries. And all the while they basically sold the same air purifiers and some kind of supplements. While the air purifiers made by the company have evolved over the years to be more advanced, they still work the same basic way they did when Bill Converse invented this technology more than 20 years ago.

While there's nothing new under the sun with Vollara, it may be a good thing for the company to be renamed since the EcoQuest bankruptcy was looming over that entity. The new things for the company are new management, new names for products, a few new supplements and a new location in Dallas Texas. Vollara is probably working on some new products so they can have something original for the new company.

Vollara FreshAir Purifier

Since Vollara is now the new name of what was once EcoQuest International, the company has gone about renaming most products in the EcoQuest line. Top on the list is Vollara's bread and butter air purifier formerly known as Fresh Air by EcoQuest will now be renamed to FreshAir by Vollara or FreshAir Surround. Kind of confusing there, but that's what it says on the company website at Vollara.com.

So far it doesn't appear that the newly named top of the line air purifier has any significant changes except that it will be sporting the new company logo. As far as I can see, there also doesn't seem to be any new images of the Fresh Air Surround on the Vollara website. It all seems to be the same graphics taken from the old EcoQuest website.

You do have to wonder also if there are a lot of old Fresh Air purifiers in stock that either have to have their cases changed or if the logo on the air purification system can easily be changed. And let's also remember that there are probably several thousands of these purifiers own, but not yet sold by Vollara distributors.

Any way you look at it though this air purifier will create clean and fresh smelling air in your home jst the way it happens in nature. The technology in this machine is known as ActivePure Technology and it does all kinds of things to clean the air in your house. It gets rid of airborne contaminants, eliminates smoke and the odors from smoke, removes dust and dirt from your home and more. It leaves you home smelling like the air does after an afternoon thunderstorm. What could be better then that?

You will surely enjoy your air being cleaned by the new Vollara FreshAir purifier. All you have to do is look up an EcoQuest Dealer in your phone book or online (phone books will still list old EcoQuest dealers for about a year) or a new Vollara distributor by going to Vollara.com and looking around for the order button.

EcoQuest International Becomes Vollara

The former air purifier company known as EcoQuest International has now become Vollara. I'm not quite sure how the new owners of the company picked that name or what it means, but the fact is, is that EcoQuest as a company no longer exists, but their former products still do.

EcoQuest used to sell the Fresh Air by EcoQest and other air purification systems such as the Living Air Classic and more, but now they will have to completely rebrand themselves and that may come at a price for the new organization. The reason for this is because EcoQuest International has been widely known as one of the top air purifier companies in the world and is widely known for their name and all of their products.

The company has had the EcoQuest name for more than 10 years now and people are very familiar with their products and their brand. Another problem this new ccomapny will have to overcome is in their search engine and internet marketing efforts. What they probably didn't think of is that there are thousands upon thousands of links to all of their product pages and they appear very high in the search engines such as Google and Yahoo for terms that thousands of people search for every day.

All that will have to begin again, because not only have they changed the name of their company, they have changed the name of all their products as well. And since the new Vollara website has been completely redone, almost everything that is in the search engines for specific search terms such as Fresh Air will now soon simply go away. As of the time of this post. many search terms that show the website EcoQuestIntl.com being on the front page of Google, now just go to the main EcoQuest front page which now simply has a link to continue on to the new Vollara website.

Also, many of the satellite companies and websites EcoQuest had are now under one roof and incorporated into the Vollara brand. Some of those companies and websites are TryFreshAir.com (redirects to EcoQuestIntl.com and the to Vollara.com), their vitamin company that was once named Infinity Nutritionals and just recently became Heartland Select has now been incorporated into the Vollara brand.

This recent name change is also a big hurdle for many EcoQuest distributors who have their own websites and are running search marketing PPC campaigns since many of the sites they are sending traffic to from paid ads contain links that are no longer valid. In fact, I just checked an ad I saw come up for a top EcoQuest search term and the poor distributor has many links on his site and in his company shopping cart that now directly link to the main page of the new company website. So distributors that were getting sales directly from the internet are now put on hold because all their shopping carts and links no longer work.

Not only is this bad from the EcoQuest distributor, but customers looking for air purifiers, vitamins, skin care products and Muscadine grape energy drinks, will not be able to buy them right from the web for some amount of time (a quick check of their website and it appears that they no longer sell skin care products except for a product once called Invisible Gloves).

After reading the names of some of these supplements I have to think, wow, who was the brainiac in charge of marketing and name selection here? Almost all of the names of these supplements at the end of the list had names that actually reflected what they are or what they did for your body, but with this new naming scheme, customers will have no idea what they're looking at from the name alone. Everything is Re: (insert idiotic name brand). What's up with the Re: brand EcoQuest, oh, I mean Vollara? All is have left to say is, completely dumb move with that one.

How will this help the former EcoQuest by renaming and rebranding themselves? Well, it may take away the stigma from the sad news that EcoQuest was going bankrupt and had to be bought out by Aerus Holdings out of Dallas or completely go under. It wasn't actually EcoQuest that was going broke, it was the company that owned them, which was in turn owned by former EcoQuest CEO Mike Jackson.

This may help the company and it may hurt them, only time will tell. They have a huge mountain to overcome and that is rebranding themselves and regaining their name familiarity. People who were once familiar with the EcoQuest line of air purifiers, no loner will be able to find many of their products sine the redesign of the website. How, in today's world of being marketed on the internet, do you go about changing the mindset of people that don't really know who you are, they just know you and your products by name?

Anyway, all the air purifier world can do is wait and see what happens with the new EcoQuest International, now known as Vollara, whatever Vollara means.

EcoQuest Air Purifier Dealers Can Make More Money

For dealers from EcoQuest International the month of January will run from Jan 4th-Jan 31st.

During the month of January, dealers earned BONUSES will be calculated using the Old Compensation Plan. You will still need to achieve the qualifications as stated under the Old Compensation Plan. (Basically no change from how your Dec ’09 Compensation Plan worked).

However, if the New Compensation Plan would have earned you more under that Plan in January, then you will be paid the greater amount. If you are a dealer selling air pufication systems auch as the Fresh Air by EcoQuest, you will need to achieve the qualification requirements as stated under the New Compensation Plan to qualify. Settlement will take place one week following the Old Compensation Plan payout in February 2010. Weekly payouts don’t start until the month of February.

So basically, everyone will get paid the greater of the two Compensation Plans (Please note that Retail Prices and Wholesale Prices as well as QV/PV amounts will not change in January for the Old Compensation Plan from what they were in December 2009. EcoQuest will only use the new published PV values when calculating Bonuses under the New Compensation Plan)

EcoQuest International Warrently Policy Update

A. Prior Warranty claims have been very expensive, too expensive in fact. So EcoQuest International will be making some changes, including giving customers the chance to repair and replace units at very attractive prices. However, effective 12/1/09, DBG will no longer honor the warranty claims of the "old company" (i.e. Products that were sold prior to 3/28/09). Again, EcoQuest has have some creative and fair solutions for customers as described in (c) below.

B. DBG will continue to honor the warranty claims of products sold on or after 3/28/09. However, there will likely be some changes to warranty coverage for products sold in 2010. Those changes will be announced sometime in the next few weeks.

C. Beginning 12/1/09, for products sold prior to 3/28/09 that are still under the "old company" warranty policy (i.e. products sold between 12/01/06 and 3/27/09), DBG will provide special options to the customer for the following products: Fresh Air, Eagle, EcoBox, Classic, Laundry Pure. Each of those units will be eligible for (a) a complete repair OR (b) a complete reconditioning including consumable items and a limited warranty, both at attractive, special pricing.

EcoQuest Fresh Air Part 2

If you are looking at an air purifier and considering any one of a number of brands and models available today, you should check out the EcoQuest Fresh Air. It is made by EcoQuest International that used to be based in Greeneville, TN but has since moved to Dallas Texas. These are great machines and are used by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world.

In the earlier post we looked at some of the technology in the Fresh Air purifier and in this post we will expand on that a little. This air purifier has 3 different ways or settings it can be used on for different or intense air purification needs:

Normal Mode Setting - This setting uses the ActivPure RCI technology I talked about yesterday that includes natural oxidizers at a low level for all of your normal air purification needs. It is basically a set it and forget it mode.

High Mode Setting - This level of air purification adds ozone or what EcoQuest calls activated oxygen for a more intense purification process when you have strong odors and need to get rid or things like smoke or want to help sanitize surface contaminants on things like your counter tops, stove, cutting boards and the like.

Away Mode Setting - As the name of this mode suggests, it is to be used when you are away from your home or the building you are using the purifier in. This setting give the strongest possible output of ozone the unit can produce and is for unoccupied buildings only.

In this mode you can set the machine to run for from 2 hours to 8 hours on this highest output and the front display will show you how much time is left on the away setting. Of course the best thing to do is to set the machine to run for the time you want and then just plan to be away from your house for about 30 minutes longer than the timer so your home will have time to air out before you return.

As you can see, the EcoQuest Fresh air has a lot of features other units that are more expensive don't have. If you are in the market for an air purifier the Fresh Air is definitely something to consider.

EcoQuest Fresh Air

The EcoQuest Fresh Air purifier is one of the most popular air purification systems in existence today. Why is that? It is because these systems can clean and purify the air in a large home and the air doesn't even have to pass through the system.

The way that works is through a process called Radiant Catalytic Ionization or RCI for Short. RCI uses ionization and ozone to clean the air and remove odors plus neutralize some harmful chemicals in the air. Ionization charges particles and causes them to clump together consequently making them heavier that the surrounding air. They then continue to gain mass as they clump and eventually fall out of the air due to their weight.

When ozone is used in the EcoQuest Fresh air (it can be turned off) it helps eliminate odors such as smoke smells, wet dog smell, old tennis shoes, musty basement smells and the like by neutralizing them through an oxidation process at the molecular level. Yeah, that's a little mumbo jumbo technical stuff there, but it's just there to let you know that the EcoQuest air purification process does work.

EcoQuest Electronic air cleaners range in price from about $50 to $749, but on some of their units dealer make a pretty good profit so you may be able to strike a deal with your local EcoQuest dealer.

If you would like to try one of their home air purifiers all you have to do is contact a dealer that sells these air cleaning systems in your area and they can arrange for you to have a free trial for a period of around 3 to 5 days.

When you get the unit in your home you will want to put it through its paces and try it out on everything. EcoQuest air purifier can clean the air in you home and leave it fresh smelling just like the air smells after a thunderstorm, but did you know you can use your purification system for much more than just setting it and forgetting it?

You can use the Fresh Air by EcoQuest to sanitize a bathroom by setting the unit on High Mode for 2 to 4 hours and closing the door and walking away. The units will automatically turn down to its normal settings once the High Mode cycle has completed and then you will have a super fresh and sanitary bath.

You can also use the unit to get the smell out of a stinky pair of tennis shoes. Just bring your air purifier out into the garage and place the shoes in front of the unit, set it on high for 8 hours and you will be suprised what a difference it makes after those 8 hours.

If you have an old car that has a stinky interior, then you can take care of that problem as well. The number one most popular air purifier sold by EcoQuest International is known as the Fresh Air. This air cleaning system will freshen and clean the air in your home up to a large area of 3,000 square feet. No other home purifier sold by any other company cleans an area this large.

The nice thing about the Fresh Air purification system and the reason that it can clean the air a 3,000 square foot home is that it cleans the air where it's at.

Okay, what does that mean?

With the technology in the Fresh Air by EcoQuest known as Radiant Catalytic Ionization it causes particles of dust (which is mainly dead skin cells) to clump together and makes them less able to float around your home. This air system also has a UV light that kills germs as they pass through the system which is an added bonus.

The Fresh Air has been around for about the last 4 or 5 years or so and replaced the Living Air Classic which was one of the original units sold by the company. If you have an air quality problem in your home you may want to consider checking out EcoQuest air purification to see if they have a system that can meet your needs. The EcoQuest International and Heartland Select Customer Service Call Center, as well as the Best Finance Call Center, will close at 5 p.m. Eastern on Friday, 9/11/2009, in order to facilitate their relocation to the Bristol, Virginia facility. Both Call Centers will reopen at 9 a.m. Eastern in Bristol on Monday, 9/14/2009. There will not be a need to dial a different toll free number to reach either call center (800.989.2299).

activTek Environmental

In addition, the activTek offices will make the transition to the Bristol, Virginia facility at the start of the day on Friday, September 11. Therefore, the activTek Call Center will be closed this entire day. All activTek offices are expected to reopen on the following Monday, September 14.

Once the transition is complete, you will continue to use the same phone number (866.736.0503) to reach activTek Customer Service and Support, however, the fax number will change. Effective Monday, September 14, please use fax number 276.645.2727.

While EcoQuest doesn't anticipate any issues with the move, there are several computer and telephone related pieces of hardware to relocate. In addition, the telephone company is doing their part to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Should there be an unexpected interruption in telephone service when we reopen in Bristol on 9/14/2009, we will promptly notify you via email.
