<p>The Infection Prevention and Control Manager leads the Infection Prevention and Control activities through facilitation, teamwork and collaboration using evidence based methods, knowledge of the regulatory environment and data analytics for implementing change across the DH healthcare system. The Infection Prevention and Control Manager acts as a resource across the organization to provide timely data analytics and feedback for Infection diseases management, metrics, facilitates teams engaged in improvement efforts, collaborates with leaders and staff, and is competent in team training, data analysis, and external/public regulation &amp; reporting.</p>
<p>DUTIES INCLUDE:<br />
Monitor and investigate known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and contain potential outbreak.<br />
Review sterilization and disinfection techniques and recommend changes as needed.<br />
Identify opportunities for improvement based on data trends and analysis.<br />
Responsible for facilitating change management processes across the organization. Demonstrates competency in evidence based improvement methods (PDCA, Lean).<br />
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of publicly reported infectious illnesses and diseases. Identify gaps in compliance, collaborates with leadership to lead improvement by facilitating team process and working closely with executive management and other leaders.<br />
Develops action plans and follow-up monitoring processes for improvement efforts related to Infection Prevention and Control.<br />
Demonstrates competency in regulatory laws, rules and regulations &#8211; specifically Joint Commission, Bahamas Ministry of Health, Public Health Authority, and other external agencies.<br />
Demonstrates competence in database/registry management and oversight.<br />
Contributes to policy development and approval process.<br />
Performs other duties as directed.</p>
<p>EDUCATION:<br />
Microbiology Degree required<br />
Bachelors Degree in Public Health, Business, or related field required<br />
RN/BSN Degree preferred<br />
Masters Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business preferred</p>
<p>EXPERIENCE:<br />
At least 3-5 healthcare-related experience required<br />
At least 3-5 years experience in Infection Control and Prevention preferred<br />
At least 2-5 years experience in clinical Nursing preferred.</p>
<p>LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:<br />
Infection Control and Epidemiology certification preferred.</p>
<p>KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:<br />
Excellent interpersonal skills both oral and written.<br />

<p>This position is a key part of the Shell Trading &amp; Supply global network (STN), the principal trading and shipping business of the Group. The STN is one of the largest trading and shipping companies worldwide and continues to be a dynamic and rapidly growing business. Commercial Operators are responsible for oil and freight operations to the various business desks. Commercial Operations staffs work alongside Traders / Trading Managers to optimize the deal portfolio to provide commercial benefits to the business. It is a fast moving and changing environment and Operators will work alongside a diverse, multi-cultured group of people. The work is extremely varied according to the desk, but Operators are developed to gain a common set of professional skills.</p>
<p>This role is specifically to provide Commercial Operations support to the Latin America (Latam) Crude Oil trading desk.</p>
<p><strong>Accountabilities:</strong></p>
<p>Ensure that all obligations arising from the contract/charter party are carried out and seek to add value by exercising embedded commercial and logistical deal options by using a pro-active approach to problem solving, in tandem with the wishes of the Traders.</p>
<p>Highlight any contract optimization opportunities, thinking on your feet to deal with contractual problems (e.g. off spec cargoes, vessel delays, etc.) and ensuring that these are managed professionally and optimally for the trading business.</p>
<p>Deal with oil and freight counterparties, terminals, vessels, agents and inspectors on a regular basis regarding all post-deal activities ensuring operations are expedited and all necessary operational information is communicated in good time and documentary requirements are met.</p>
<p>Make oil and vessel nominations, prepare and send voyage orders and monitor progress of vessels. Appoint independent inspectors, expeditors and ships agents.</p>
<p>Ensure that all oil and freight operational information is entered into Trading systems (FED/DEX, RADAR etc) in a timely fashion and ensure that the trading position is accurate at all times and adequate records are kept to meet legal and fiscal obligations.</p>
<p>Understand the potential commercial impact of cargo/demurrage claims and ensure that the necessary commercial actions are taken to protect Shell&#8217;s business position both during and after the physical activity.</p>
<p>Liaise with Finance Operations to ensure that deals are correctly and timely settled.</p>
<p>Gain &amp; use a full understanding of all operational aspects of the Oil/Shipping deals and Global Trading Network Policies and Guidelines and ensure all commercial contractual/policy obligations are complied with.</p>
<p>The incumbent needs to be extremely detailed orientated, to be able to reconcile, agree volumes with third parties and answer queries on payment quality contracts</p>
<p>The incumbent is required to drive improvement programs specific to Latam operations across boundaries.</p>
<p>In addition to standard physical cargo operations the Latam Crude Oil Operator may also be required to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Manage storage locations and stocks</li>
<li>Manage monthly forward allocation declarations</li>
<li>Operate specialised vessels operations including COA nominations and COA Owner liaison</li>
<li>The scope of this position may vary depending on the Operational activity assigned per portfolio / desk</li>
<li><strong>Dimensions </strong>The incumbent will be working on the Latam Crude Oil desk, but is part of the Crude Oil Commercial Operations team, and will be expected to learn the other roles within the team in order to provide flexibility. A competent operator should be a good communicator, with strong stakeholder management skills, well organized with commercial awareness and team skills; to be pro-active in showing initiative and have or gain knowledge of all parts of the trading business.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Experience and qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Previous knowledge of Oil and Freight operations would be advantageous.</li>
<li>The incumbent will have to be extremely adaptable, be able to work under pressure, be able to successfully prioritize work depending on current situations and must be a good team player.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Trading systems such as RADAR / DEX / GMAS would also be advantageous.</li>
<li>Understanding of pricing structures and the concept of pricing exposure would be desirable but not necessary.</li>

<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Education:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance with at least 10 years’ experience or a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years’ experience. CPA or ACCA designation is preferred;</li>
</ul>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Skills/Experience</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Proficient in Quick Books.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">The ability to effectively present and explain financial information and respond to budget and accounts questions from department, institutional and government personnel.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Skills examining operations and procedures, formulating policy and implementing new strategies and procedures.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent speaking, writing and presentation skills.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">A high level of computer literacy and IT skills.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and records.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of the government fiscal regulations and processes.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to quickly interpret a variety of information/data in written, oral and graphic form.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to effectively interact with ministry and other senior administrative personnel.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Strong supervisory, interpersonal communication, problem solving skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart information to a range of clientele.</li>
