MANILA - ABS-CBN's weekly sitcom "Toda Max," directed by Malu Sevilla, had its final episode on Saturday after 2 years on the air. In the final show, Justino (Vhong Navarro), who is set to leave for work abroad, vows to remain faithful to his girlfriend Isabel (Angel Locsin). Macario father (Al Tantay) reconciles with Justin and lets him kiss his "labs". "Last episode of #todamax later.. :) sobrang mami-miss ko ang show na to :( salamat po sa 2 taon na tawanan :)," Locsin said on her Twitter account. Other actors in the Toda Max cast were Robin Padilla, Pokwang, PBB Teen Edition 4 winner Myrtle Sarrosa, among others. Toda Max won Best Comedy Program in the 34th Catholic Mass Media Awards.

Justin Bieber's Neighbor Called Police Twice for Loud Music

Justin Bieber's neighbor called the police on the pop star in the wee hours on Saturday, Nov. 16, E! News can confirm. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's office said they made two visits to the 19-year-old's Calabasas residence for loud music that was playing during a party. During the second visit, around 5 a.m., officers wrote up the homeowner in a report for disturbing the peace, which is a misdemeanor. Police will turn the report to the district attorney. Police said that despite the noise, the partygoers were "cooperative." A rep for Bieber did not return a request for comment. TMZ was first to report the story. A neighbor told TMZ that cops told him that they smelled marijuana at the residence, but nobody was arrested. The watch commander could not confirm this to E! News because the report hadn't been written up yet. It has not been an week for Bieber. He outraged his Argentinean fans after a video surfaced which showed him disrespecting two national flags during his concert on Saturday, Nov. 9. In the clip, the "Bad Day" singer—who was ill earlier that night—used his shoes and then a microphone stand to sweep them offstage. After the video went viral, Bieber decided to address the incident via Twitter on Wednesday, Nov. 13. "Heard about what is going on with me down in Argentina and I'm shocked. I love Argentina and have had some of the best shows of my tour there," he told his nearly 47 million followers.

Lamar Odom in Final Stages of a Deal With Los Angeles Clippers: Source

Lamar Odom is in home stretch of making his returning to the NBA. The 33-year-old athlete is in final negotations that would bring him back to the Los Angeles Clippers, where he spent the 2012-2013 NBA season, a source reveals exclusively to E! News. Odom was also originally selected by the Clips with the fourth overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft. The source said that Khloé Kardashian Odom's husband met with head coach Doc Rivers and Clippers GM Gary Sacks on Friday, Nov. 15 and said the deal was "done." Just last month, a source told E! News that the basketball player had been working out to make his way back to the court and has been sober for a month. "He is taking steps to get himself back on track," the source said at the time. The road to Odom's NBA comeback has not been without struggle. The 14-year veteran was arrested for a DUI on Aug. 30 and later pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor count. Barely a day after he opted to check in to rehab in September following his arrest for allegedly driving under the influence, Odom left the treatment facility. At the time of Lamar's arrest, Khloé and the rest of the family had been urging Odom to seek treatment. The couple have since been attending counseling sessions and are "using it as a forum to talk through all of their issues," a source told E! News exclusively. And according to the insider, so far therapy has laid down the foundation for working through their problems. "Khloé has been very, very hurt by everything. There is a lot about Lamar that she is just learning and if they have any chance of making this work, there is a lot they need to come to terms with," the source added. The rapper and businessman announced today that he is moving forward with the launch of his BNY SCC line for Barneys New York amid an investigation into claims that the high-end department store engaged in racial profiling and needlessly called law enforcement on two black customers who were just going about their shopping business. And while he's drawn heat from critics who said that he was in a perfect posititon to take a stand against the company, Beyoncé hubby insists that walking away would have been the easy thing to do. In a statement posted to his Life and Times website, the Magna Carta Holy Grail artist says that he was privy to information compiled by a third-party inquiry and, while he does not yet know the outcome of the New York State Attorney General's investigation into the incidents, he feels that he is in a "unique position" to flex his muscle with the company because he now has a leadership role on a council "specifically convened to deal with the issue of racial profiling." "I am in a unique position to use my voice to affect change to this disturbing issue," Jay Z stated. "The easy position would have been to walk away and leave policy making to others hoping that someone addresses the problem. I will not leave the outcome to others. I will take this into my own hands with full power to recommend, review and revise policies and guidelines moving forward. I am choosing to take this head on." Not to mention, his Shawn Carter Foundation, which originally was going to receive 25 percent of sales of the BNY SCC merchandise, is now going to get 100 percent. Kris assures typhoon survivors: Help is on the way

MANILA – Television host Kris Aquino assured the survivors of super typhoon "Yolanda" (international name Haiyan) that help is on the way. Speaking on her morning show “Kris TV” on Friday, Aquino said she was able to talk to her friends from budget airline AirAsia Zest and they agreed to lend their planes to help deliver the goods to calamity-hit areas. “The good fortune na nabigay, because yesterday I was feeling desparate, sabi ko nakakahiya na tanggap tayo nang tanggap ng goods pero hindi natin pa napapakita sa mga tao na umaabot sa kanila talaga na personal nating dinadala,” she said. “Ang dami kong naging kaibigan recently and AirAsia, which bought Zest, changed pala their fleet. They were so nice to me kasi may commitment ako on Sunday with Sagip Kapamilya to bring 10 tons of these goods to Leyte,” Aquino added. Saying she has no problem with shouldering the cost of fuel, Aquino stressed that the most important thing now is to ensure that the goods will properly be delivered to those in need. “They gave it to me na ang cost lang to me was the fuel charge. Sabi ko kung hindi ka bubunot sa sarili mong bulsa at maghihintay ka pa, kawawa naman ang mga nangangailangan. On Sunday, we will at least be able to bring 10 tons,” she said. Aquino, who is the youngest sister of President Benigno Aquino III, said it feels great to know that everyone is coming together to extend aid to those who survived the super typhoon. “On the private side, we are doing this. On the government side, it’s 140,000 relief packs a day that is being distributed. Everybody is helping each other,” she said. MANILA - A teaser for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Boy Golden: The Arturo Porcuna Story" promises an action-packed thriller reminiscent of well-beloved Filipino action classics. Set in the 1960s and starring ER Ejercito and KC Concepcion, the movie is based on the life of a notorious Manila gangster, Arturo "Boy Golden" Porcuna. Directed by Chito S. Rono (Yamashita: The Tiger's Treasure), it also features big screen veterans Eddie Garcia, John Estrada and Tonton Guiterrez. "Boy Golden" was earlier excluded from the eight competing entries due to excessive violence but was later reconsidered following the withdrawal of Senator Bong Revilla's "My Super Kap." In the last two editions of the MMFF, films co-produced by and starring Ejercito won major awards, including Best Picture for "Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story" and Second Best Picture for the 2012 Emilio Aguinaldo biopic, "El Presidente." "Boy Golden," along with seven other entries for the annual film festival, will premiere on Christmas day.

The program, hosted by ABS-CBN News' Mario Dumaual and teen actress Janella Salvador, will air its first episode at 9 p.m. Sunday (November 17) on Jeepney TV or SkyCable channel 9. The debut offering of "Biyaheng Retro" will feature the stories of several celebrities including "Be Careful With My Heart" star Richard Yap, basketball player-turned-actor Benjie Paras, and film actress Alice Dixson. Yap, for instance, landed his first TV ad in 1990, which made him reconsider his ambitions of becoming a doctor. His ongoing soap on ABS-CBN is now the No. 1 daytime program in the country. MANILA – Angelica Panganiban admitted she has yet to talk to Jason Francisco after the latter's supposed rift with Pooh, her co-star on "Banana Split." Francisco reportedly got upset after Pooh allegedly questioned his capacity to support his future wife, Melai Cantiveros, and their child. Cantiveros is also part of "Banana Split." In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Thursday, Panganiban said Francisco probably misinterpreted Pooh’s intention when he said such statements. “Hindi ko nakakausap si Jason. Hindi ko rin alam ang number niya. Kung siguro minasama niya 'yung sinabi ng kaibigan ko, si Pooh, opinion iyon eh. Hindi kasi masama 'yung intention ni Pooh. Christian to perform in Japan, appeals for help for 'Yolanda' victims

MANILA - Christian Bautista is set to perform songs of hope at the ASEAN-Japan Music Festival this November 28. The festival, dubbed as "Music for Healing After the Earthquake," aims to deliver hope and courage through music to all the people affected by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake. It will be held at the NHK Hall in Shibuya, Japan. Bautista said he can relate to the message of the festival after the Philippines was hit by a strong earthquake and super typhoon "Yolanda" (international name Haiyan). He said he dedicates his songs to his countrymen. "It's a friendship festival to thank other countries who helped Japan during their crisis time. Kasi noong time noong tsunami, ang tindi din ng nangyari sa kanila. I don't want to compare 'Yolanda' and the tsunami, both are bad. Pero ngayon nakaka-recover na sila at naniniwala ako na makaka-recover din tayo at darating din tayo diyan. "Tayo naman 'yung magpapa-music festival salamat sa tulong ng mundo sa atin, kasi ang mundo ay tumutulong. Problema na lang ngayon, sana ma-distribute lahat," said Bautista, who was personally invited by the Japan embassy to be a part of the festival. Bautista said that aside from just performing, he will do his part to ask help from Japan for "Yolanda" victims. "The Japanese embassy called us up and told me that they personally wanted me to be on the show. But this was before the earthquake, before Yolanda. So the original plan was to go there, we will help you as you are rebuilding yourself. "Ngayon, iba na. I'm gonna go there now. I want to know how you rebuild yourself and please continue to help us naman because now we are experiencing something really, really terrible in our country. It's now an appeal. Please continue to help us kasi we need a lot. I mean, billions of pesos are coming pero we need more, so whatever aid that you can give," he said. After his performance in Japan, Bautista will return as Prince Christopher in the Resorts World production of "Cinderella," which stars Karylle.

After three days of not having any contact with his relatives in Super Typhoon Yolanda-ravaged Tacloban, Daniel Padilla was only too happy to learn that his grandmother and other relatives had been located and were safe. “Oo pero ngayon okay na. Susunduin na sila ni mama at on the way na sila pabalik ng aming bahay,” Daniel shared during an interview with the press after the fashion show organized by SM Accessories where he, along with Julia Barretto, Enrique Gil, and Kathryn Bernardo were launched as the new teen royalties style ambassadors on Tuesday at the Megatent in Libis. According to Daniel, those three days that they had no way of knowing whether their grandma or their other relatives were safe had been agonizing. “Oo naman siyempre kamag-anak mo ‘yun eh at tsaka bago sa ‘yo ‘yung mga nangyayaring ganon eh. Ako naman siyempre sobrang panic rin ako,” he confessed, but he quickly added, “Pero pray lang ng pray at nasa isip ko na talagang walang sukuan.” Thankfully though, they were finally able to reach his lola. “Pinuntahan na ng tito ko na doon rin nakatira na okay, tapos okay na.” With the monstrous Super Typhoon Yolanda (International name: Haiyan) leaving behind a huge path of death and destruction in the Visayas region, stars quickly mobilized their resources and came up with their own unique ways of raising funds to aid the storm’s victims. Angel Locsin hopes relief goods will go to right people

MANILA – Angel Locsin, who has been identified as an active volunteer of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), expressed concern on Wednesday over relief operations for the victims of “Yolanda,” the super typhoon which battered central Philippines last Friday. In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Locsin said she is worried that some relief goods might not go to the right people. “Sana huwag abusuhin ng mga tao. Naiintindihan ko na siyempre may nagugutom, pero sana 'yung mga binibigay, makakarating talaga sa mga dapat na paratingan, sa mga nangangailangan talaga, kung saan talaga dapat mapunta ang budget talaga,” she said. Nonetheless, Locsin said she will continue to help the PRC in repacking goods that will be sent to the affected areas. Asked if she also gets exhausted, Locsin said: “Hindi ako napapagod, actually masaya. Dito kasi sa ginagawa nating volunteerism, makaka-meet ka ng bagong kaibigan. Kapag dito ka with your friends, parang nagiging stronger yung bonding niyo. Enjoy, hindi ako masyado nakakaramdam ng pagod dito.” Locsin said she is in no position to complain because what the people in Visayas are going through is much worse. “Dito masaya. Ang dami nating challenges pero we are known Filipinos to be resilient people, magsu-survive tayo. Its caption said the actress led the group in the activity. However, a number of local automotive websites were able to track Locsin as the owner of the car, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, and reported it. Monzon-Palma noted that "vintage car aficionados" are apparently able to identify which ones own a certain vehicle within their vicinity. The price of the vintage car model, based on listings on various online buy-and-sell websites, ranges from $65,000 to $89,000 (roughly P2.8 million to P3.7 million). Speaking with "Kris TV" on Tuesday, Monzon-Palma then confirmed that it was Locsin who brought the vintage car to Sagip Kapamilya last Sunday to have it auctioned.
