If we analyze the current testing structure then aspirants have greater choice of questions that can be beneficial to increase the number of questions attempt. Common Admission Test (CAT)
Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I) this year, has been announced with dominant changes in the examination pattern. IIM-Indore is going to conduct tests for the second continuous year. CAT 2014 exam notification
Change in Test pattern: To make CAT 2014 examination more comfortable and simple IM-Indore has increased the examination time from 140 minutes to 170 minutes. It has discontinued purchase of offline vouchers and the number of questions has been increased to 50 in each section - quantitative aptitude & data interpretation, verbal ability and logical reasoning. Previously there were 30 questions in it.

Application process & test centers: The tutorial preparation time given before the start of the examination has been removed this time, candidates are advised to read tutorial from the website beforehand. The candidate need to make payment online through debit card, credit card or net banking. The candidate can switch to any other section as per their comfort. CAT aspirant will feel more flexible and comfortable this time and they have their own choice to devote less or more time in respective sections. The Indian Institute of Management-Indore (IIM-I) has cut the examination window for holding the examination. The CAT 2014 will be conducted on two days this year November 16 and November 22 in the forenoon and in the afternoon sesion. The common aptitude test will be conducted in 99 cities with 354 test sites, as compared to previous year`s 45 sites. There is an option to choose three cities in CAT 2014. According to CAT notification, “During the initial registration, the candidate does not have to rush for blocking sites and cities. The aspirant will offer preference across the four sessions randomly. The candidate will not get a chance to opt for the preferred dates and it will be selected by the CAT center.

Important Dates: The registration for the CAT 2014 will open for 56 days from 6 August and the closing date will be 30 September. Students can download admit card from 6 October till examination date. This time result will be declared in the third week of December 2014.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2015: Registration Procedure

The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)
The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national level aptitude test conducted in India by XLRI (formerly known as Xavier Labour Relations Institute), a business school in Jamshedpur in the state of Jharkhand in India, as an entrance test for its and other highly reputed institutes, including Xavier Institute of Management and Goa Institute of Management programmes.
XAT is scheduled to be conducted on 4 January 2015 in 47 Indian cities along with 2 international centers.

Registration process:

• Eligible candidates may apply online through the website: http://xatonline.net.in from 12 August 2014 to 22 November 2014.

• The application fee is Rs.1000/- for all candidates.

• Candidates can make payment of application fees by any one of the following ways.

• Online transaction on a VISA/Master credit/debit card or by IDBI net banking.

• Cash payment: By taking a print out of the XAT pay-in slip and visit an IDBI bank to make the payment.

CMAT September 2014 : Registration extended to 01/09/2014

There is a good news for all the aspirants who have not been able to register for CMAT examination to be conducted in September 2014. AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), the conducting body for CMAT has extended the deadline to register for the exam from 25th August to 1st September 2014.

They have done this in order to give aspirants more time and also, to invite more registrations. At the same time, AICTE has said that not further extensions will be done. Previously in February 2014 also, registration dates were extended.

Examination will be conducted during a 5 day test window beginning from 25th September 2014 and ending on 29th September 2014. Lakhs of aspirants sit for the CMAT examination in order to fulfill their dream of gaining management education through colleges of their choice.

IBSAT 2014 : How to fill the Application form?

IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, for students seeking admission to the MBA/PhD programs of IBS Hyderabad. Candidates can apply for IBSAT 2014 on or before 1 December 2014.

Prior to filling the online application, please read the eligibility criterion given on the reverse of the voucher and also on the website www.ibsindia.org and gather the information needed to complete the process:

1. Ensure you have a valid email address, telephone number and address before you apply. These should be valid throughout the admission process.

2. Keep the marks sheets of X, XII, Graduation and any other professional qualification ready for calculating percentage of marks. The percentage obtained is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the board/university/institution from where you will be graduating.

How to Apply for IBSAT 2014

• IBSAT Bulletin can be purchased online OR at any of the marketing offices by payment of Rs 1500.

• Online registration can be done on www.ibsat.ibsindia.org/ibsat2014/registration

Application form has four parts . You need to fill in the details under the following headings:

1. Create your profile: Creating your profile by filling up personal details like Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Nationality, Contact address, e mail Id and contact number. You have an option of modifying the filled in details.

2. Review your profile: After creating your profile, you need to review the same.

3. Payment: You can make a payment online using a credit or debit card or using internet banking facility.

4. Finish: After paying your application fee, the application form filling process will be finished.
After successful transaction, you will receive a mail with details of application number and password. Then you need to proceed further on the given link http://www.ibsindia.org/application-guideline/
IBSAT 2014 Bulletin will be dispatched to the candidates within seven days from the date of filling the online application form.

CAT 2014 is being conducted by IIM Indore and registration windows have been opened. One can register through the official website www.iimcat.ac.in from 6^th August 2014 to 30^th September 2014. For your convenience, we have brought step by step registration procedure for CAT 2014.

Before you start registering kindly take care of the following points:
1. Check your eligibility for CAT 2014.
2. Ensure you have a valid and unique email address and mobile number.
3. Collect all the information needed, for filling the form, such as:

Step-by-step registration process for CAT 2014:
Step 1: Registration
Register yourself for CAT 2014 on the official website www.iimcat.ac.in. Following information needs to be entered

Name of Candidate: This should be the same as on your 12th/Diploma/Degree certificates.
Date of Birth: Use the calendar icon to select the correct date.
Email Address: Should be valid and unique. You will receive your User ID on this email address only.
Mobile Number: Should be valid and unique. You will receive your Password as an SMS on this number only.

After clicking on “I Agree” one commits to be honest and fair in conduct and providing information.
Step 2: Filling the CAT Application form
You are a registered user now. Log in using “Existing User login” option. Application form is categorized in the following –
1. Personal Details:

Enter Father’s/Husband’s/Guardian’s Name and Gender as applicable.
Specify your Nationality.
Select the Category under which you are applying. If not General, then enter the additional details such as Serial Number of Caste/Tribe, State/Union Territory of Caste/Tribe, Caste/Tribe Name.
Select Yes if you are a Person with disability/Differently Abled. Additionally, enter details under PWD/DA Category of disability, Disability Percentage and Wheelchair Support requirement. Download the Differently Abled (Person with Disability) Certificate from the CAT website, fill, and get signatures of appropriate authorities, self-attest and scan as PDF document to upload.
Mention you communication address
Upload the applicable documents like Passport Size Photograph and Signature; NC-OBC/SC/ST Certificate or PWD/DA Certificate

2. Academics:
In this section, you need to fill your education details. Enter only those details that apply to you.
The sections are as follows:

Note: If you have undergone or undergoing an integrated Master’s degree or Dual degree, after your 12th/HSC, compute the percentage of marks obtained as per your University/Institute norms which is considered as equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree for this section.
3. Work Experience: If you are a candidate with work experience, then enter your experience in completed months until 31st July 2014.
4. Programmes: You may select any number of Programme Names in this section. Then, select the Interview City for interview as per the cities in the respective drop down list. Recently, the Government of India has proposed six new IIMS in the country. Interested candidates may also choose Post Graduate Programmes (PGP) in these new locations, as well as, under the section Apply to the Proposed New Six IIMs.
Exam Centre City Preferences:
You may select up to three cities as your choices for taking the CAT 2014 exam. However, the city allocated to you would be based on centre and node availability. This information will be communicated to you on your Admit Card.
5. Payment:
A General / NC-OBC candidate will be charged Rs.1600 while an SC/ST /PWD (DA) candidate will be charged Rs.800 to take the CAT 2014 examination. The final amount will also include applicable additional charges as per the table below.
Application Confirmation Email
You will also receive a confirmation email stating the successful submission of your CAT 2014 Application within a few minutes. The email will also contain communication on additional details such as Admit Card download window.

The Agriculture Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB) has issued the notification for the Combined ARS 2014 Preliminary Examination and National Eligibility Test- 2014 (II) (NET 2014-II). Last date of online application is 08 September 2014.

Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is going to conduct the APPSCC (Main) Examination 2013 – 14 for the recruitment to the various posts.
