Will we ever be able to regrow lost fingertips to get default?

Independent living aids and products include a variety of devices designed to help people with disabilities live independently. Many of these products are used in daily activities such as eating and getting dressed. Sometimes, all that is needed is an assistive device to help a person remain independent.
Household gadgets and equipment to make life easier
If you, or someone you know, struggles with everyday tasks, there might be gadgets or equipment to help make life easier.
There’s a range of equipment to help, examples include:
Going to the toilet

a chair with hidden toilet (commode) – if getting to the toilet is difficult
push button to flush the toilet
raised toilet seat

Using the bathroom

slip mat for the bath or shower
a rail to help you get out of the bath or shower
easy to turn handles for taps

Cooking and eating

a kettle with a holder to make it easy to pour
knives and forks with special handles to make them easy to hold
easy to grip jugs or graters
cups with 2 handles

Getting out of bed or out of a chair

a rail you attach to the bed (grab rail)
straps to help you lift your leg (leg lifters)
things to raise your bed
reclining chairs

Getting dressed

hooks to help pull zips, undo buttons and pull jackets on
gadgets to help put socks, tights and pants on

Caring for children

chairs to help support children in the bath
seats to help children sit upright

The researches believe that in injuries, the blood vessels are the final judge to either enable regeneration or just cover the area by excessive scars. Endothelial cells in the bone marrow may also play a role in re-enabling regenerating abilities we, humans, loose in the early age.
Seems like more and more hope for all of us wishing to get default.

Having no marks after injuries is needed by the entire population, and 1 million dollars is such a laughable amount for such a complicated research. No wonder the scientists produced no results so far. With so much money spent on such stupid things, like ad campaigns for obesity causing beverages, can’t we shell out some more money for people eager to get default?

A few media companies mentioned Linda Bannon – a woman from Illinois, who was born without hands, a condition names Holt-Oram syndrome.

As you can see, Linda got married a non-disabled guy and they got a son Timmy Bannon, who also doesn’t have hands.

While this video is inspirational and stuff, it leaves a few, very disturbing thoughts.
Evolutionary, Linda was not supposed to survive, let alone produce offspring, and the bad genes would be removed from joint human gene pool. This obviously didn’t happen, and Linda’s son is cure enough to get his own bride and continue the mutation further into generations.
This is not how evolution is supposed to work, and breaking the natures natural selection mechanisms we are endangering the genetic quality of future humans.
