Green was hired in January as the 27th head football coach in program history and will guide the Orange and Blue on the field for his inaugural campaign when the season opens in September.

The schedule for 133rd season of football opens with three straight non-conference games and features six home games this fall, including one early-season night game at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium.

For the first time, Gettysburg will open the season on a Thursday night, traveling to Juniata on Sept. 3 for a 7 p.m. game. This will mark the fourth straight season that the Bullets and Eagles have been the season-opening matchup.

Week Two will be back-to-back night games with the home opener. Gettysburg welcomes a new opponent Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium – Washington and Lee for a 6 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 12. The Bullets and Generals have not squared off on the gridiron since 1981.

The final non-conference game is a home contest in the annual Centennial-Landmark crossover, completing the home-and-home series with Western Connecticut State on Sept. 20 at 1 p.m.

After the bye week, Centennial Conference (CC) play opens with the Lincoln Trophy Game against Franklin & Marshall. That will be a 1 p.m. kickoff in Lancaster on Oct. 3.

Dickinson travels to Gettysburg a week later for a second-straight trophy game and the battle for the Little Brown Bucket. The Bullets and Red Devils kickoff at 1 p.m. on Oct. 10.

Homecoming is slated for Oct. 17 with a home game against Carnegie Mellon at 1 p.m.

The third and final night game is in Baltimore on Friday, Oct. 23. Kickoff at Johns Hopkins will be 6 p.m.

Gettysburg then hosts Ursinus (Oct. 31) and McDaniel (Nov. 14) around a road trip to Muhlenberg (Nov. 7) over the last three weeks of the regular season. All three games begin at 1 p.m. The game with the Bears is also Family Weekend. The trip to Allentown is the third and final trophy game as the teams battle for the Old Tin Cup. Senior Day will be the finale against the Green Terror.

Admission to all Gettysburg home games is free. All conference games are also available free of charge on the Centennial Conference Digital Network at centennialconference.tv.
