Pros - It's well designed (i.e. adjustments for thigh height book angle). My wife likes it a lot for propping up her books in bed while breastfeeding the new baby. Top surface is smooth and well varnished. It even has a drawer in the side.

Cons - The material is pine, which wouldn't be so bad, but there are many knots and the lower surfaces were not sealed. There was an incredible amount of sap or pine resin covering the lower parts of the device. It was really sticky and has to be cleaned before you can use it. Some of the cuts made in the factory on the lower pieces, (i.e. notches to hold the angle of the book) were not clean and properly post-process sanded.

You get a little bit more than what you paid for here. To make this device out of higher grade wood, professional cuts, have it sanded, stained & sealed would have added considerably to the cost & weight. I thought about making this kind of thing by hand, but it would have taken a while and wouldn't have been as well designed and adjustable as is this device. I think it was money reasonably spent for a short term needed device (i.e., until the baby can go the night without feeding). But, if you want a laptop reading device to go the long haul, consider something made with higher quality components.

I love everything about this table. It is so helpful for when am in my bed or couch using my computer. The part that holds my netbook is just high enough for me to write comfortably while using my computer. The material is solid as far as i can tell, and believe me after a few earlier tables who even broke before i received them, this is very sturdy.

The only downside for me so far is the legs height. A few more inches would have been perfect for me. Right now i have to sometimes lower my head to read the netbook screen. This problem is probably for netbook users, since laptops have usually bigger or higher screens.

Received the item to give to my daughter for Christmas and was extremely disappointed. Only the top part of the laptop desk is stained, polished, and varnished. The bottom part of the desk is just unfinished wood. My daughter caught a splinter from the unfinished work. The desk also shows signs of some type of mildew smearing which is horrible.

Spoke with the company regarding information and they said they would refund the money once I submitted photos showing proof of damage. I sent the photos and the company reniged on refunding my money until I send the product back. Now I have to pay further shipping costs to send back this item days before Christmas.

I highly don't recommend any further business with this company. A company who says one thing and takes it back is not trustworthy of their word or their products.

It was a pretty, rather slick and light material. A little more 'golden' than cream (in my opinion). I am returning this item because I had assumed it would fit my couch without measuring my couch. My own fault of course! I suppose my couch is taller with more 'puff' than most, but it didn't even touch the ground in front of the couch when meanwhile I had it going only an inch over the back. Yeah. WAYYY to small. My couch looked like a fat man in a tiny shirt.

If you have a low couch against a wall, it would probably work perfectly. It was nice and long on the sides.

I can't stand the fact that daily brushing of our two long-haired cats doesn't prevent hairballs. It's easy enough to pick up the hairball off the carpet, but there is always some residual staining, and that's where Resolve comes in. I squirt it on the stain, wait until it dries, and vacuum with my big Dyson, and the stain is gone. It's a lot easier than kneeling down and trying to sponge the stain away, which often drives a stain deeper into the carpet. I wouldn't be without this stuff...until we can afford to replace all our carpets with hardwood!

This product has been given to me as a review unit. It arrived about 3 days after it was sent from LaptopMate's warehouse. Took it out of the package, and I was presented with a nice looking green box, similar to Logitech's box design. The bottom of the box tells you about all the features of the keyboard. Upon opening the box, I was presented with the keyboard in its plastic bag, ready to be taken out and used. Under the pull-out tray, you get an instruction manual, and a mini USB cable for charging.

The manual is well-written in English, with minor mistakes that shouldn't confuse too many people. The manual tells you the safety information, instructions on how to use the keyboard, and a small list of troubleshooting instructions in the back.

The keyboard is well-built; the body is sturdy, and doesn't feel like it will fall apart easily. It is lightweight, and feels like only half the weight of a TV remote. On the sides, it has a mini USB port, the laser and its button, the on/off switch, and a slot where the wireless receiver is stored. To use any functions of the keyboard, you must turn it on. I was glad that the keyboard had a built-in rechargeable battery, I'm not a fan of buying a bunch of AAA batteries to operate my gadgets. The laser isn't the strongest, but it fares well for presentation from about 50 feet away. The keyboard also has a white backlight; not too bright, not too dark, perfect for operating your computer in the dark.

Now, onto the top of the keyboard where most things are found. The letters are printed clearly, and the keyboard overall has a good tactile feedback; also, the keys are made of rubber, so it makes typing pretty comfortable. It has 4 LED lights on the top left corner; the first one indicates transmission activity, the second one indicates the battery charging, the third one indicates battery capacity, and the last one indicates caps lock. The top row of the keyboard consists of the F1-F8 keys (the rest are under the Fn of numbers 1-4), and the Backspace key. The Escape key is directly below the LED indicator lights, and the main keyboard pretty much begins from there. This is probably due to sacrifice for compact design, but the bottom row of the alphabets is moved over to the left a little, so you'll have to get used to it to avoid making mistakes. There's an Fn key on the bottom left, it can be used to access additional functions on the keyboard, such as PrtSc, volume and media control, and Ctrl+Alt+Del. The right side of the keyboard is reserved for the touchpad, mouse buttons, and the arrow keys.

I plugged the USB receiver into my laptop (Windows 7 64-bit), and the drivers installed immediately without any actions required. Turned the keyboard on, saw the lights come on, and I was ready to operate. I was surprised at how I could actually hold it in my hands while typing with ease. The touchpad works great for me, and is sensitive just like my laptop. The arrow keypad is a little odd, but I'm sure if I used it more I can get used to it. Pressing the keys is easy, it doesn't require any strength. The keyboard also has an auto sleep feature, where if it is inactive for a long period of time, it will go to sleep, saving a bit of battery (although it is recommended to turn off the keyboard when not in use).

This keyboard is perfect for work and home. It has a range of around 5 meters (~15 feet), so it's good for plugging your computer up to a TV and controlling it from somewhere cozier than your chair. For , this is a pretty neat little device. Give it a try! If it breaks, not to worry, LaptopMate has an 18-months warranty, and a good return policy.

PS. This is perfect for controlling my laptop on the TV, in my bed at night! Endless midnight entertainment, here I come! :D

I was very pleased initially with this device to control my home entertainment system computer from my couch and ordered a second one in case the first got damaged. I must be psychic because the day after the new one arrived, the first one was no longer recognized by the laptop. I never turned them on at the same time so they didn't cancel each other out. The first one just died and I felt lucky to have a new spare on hand. But then the new one malfunctioned after only about an hour's use. Is my HP laptop killing these things? I don't think so but I've had it with them. The owner's manual says nothing about any warranty or how to have it repaired. I'm waiting to hear from the Amazon Market vendor and I'm sure he'll say he just ships boxes, not repair anything. These devices seem to be made in China. I've changed my rating from 4 stars to 1 star. It worked great for a very short while, then kaput!

The RII shipped fast and I could not wait to use after reading all of the good reviews. After unpacking it I noticed that the F2 key was not seated properly and I could not depress it. After getting it up and running I found that only half of the keyboard lights up. It would have been nice if they just assembled it properly. The instruction booklet is a joke though you really don't need it, just plug it in and go on Linux. I gave it 3 stars because it really is cool.

My couch is about 3 feet tall in the back and 2 1/2 at the sides. It fits well and the instructions are easy to follow. Most of the wrinkles come out in the washer/dryer so no ironing was necessary. We sit on this couch daily and I find that we usually have to freshen up the fit 1-2 times per week but it stays pretty well. No need to fully re-fit it just tuck in around the edges and smooth a bit. Love the feel of the fabric and the color is true to photo. Same slipcover sold at bed bath and beyond (although there it is )

I ordered this chair thinking it could be inflated in a a few minutes...wrong. I wanted it to take to the hospital when accompanying my friend for long chemo treatments as the hospital has really uncomfortable chairs in the chemo rooms. Not only would it take 20 mins to inflate and another 20 to deflate, the pump I bought to blow it up was ridiculously loud.

Not the convenience I was hoping for. Unfortunately, the company does not refund shipping charges. You have to pay for return shipping, and there is a 20% restocking fee for returns unless you want a store credit. My entire order was , including the pump. If I had returned it, I'd have paid about .00 and had nothing to show for it. SO I kept the darned thing. Recommend only if you're going to keep it inflated for a long time and if there is no one around to hear the obnoxiously loud pump I got to use with it.

I first tried this massage chair a year ago in 2009 when I was in Tokyo in a mall. Unlike other massage chairs which look mechanical, this one looks like a one person sofa in disguise. In terms of function, the feature which stands out the most to me is chopping/tapping which you don't get with other massage chairs. I'm excited to learn that the EP-MS40 is now available in the US for sale. However, it's nearly 00 USD more expensive than buying the same thing in Japan or HK which cost about 00. I will certainly consider buying one when the price drops. You can get it with different color fabric to match your existing living room sofa. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because if you use it to sit/recline while not using the massage function, your back can feel the mechanics underneath; you really need a back cushion for it. Another thing I notice is there's little room for arm rest; not sure if this matters to you or not, but it does make the massage chair take less width.

Folks, this massage chair won many awards for best design and innovation. Panasonic may not be #1 in TV or digital cameras, but it's massage chairs are simply awesome.

Maybe after looking a little more online and at local funiture outlets I could have a found a better way to rate this product for the price. I bought this to get my rear surround speaker off the floor and for my cycad bonzai plant some other place to be. Don't get me wrong, it's nice and for around 30 bucks its not a loss. The granite type top is the best part and look is nice but the quality ends there for me. After screwing on the legs, I noticed that the holes they drilled made it look "bow legged". My feeling then was this is mass produced, rush assembled in taiwan made for the consumer type office plant stand! I am not complaining, just clarifing why this is not a 5 star item to me.

Just to further describe the quality, the gold rings pictured on the legs are really just gold painted plastic washers and one of mine was chipped. The stand is assembled upside down so place a washer in between and screw the top part of the legs in, place the washers in the middle part of the legs, and then the washers on the base and that's it. For quick assembly with no tools except a box cutter for the box it comes in..5 stars! The granite type top is glued on and mine was visible but only upside down during assembly, but again 5 star is still there because it looks nice. Those bowed legs though...a shame! It could have been just mine, but honestly you can just tell that these came off an assembly line and never assembled for quality check.

The rest you can get from the picture, that's what sold me anyway! I hope you find this useful in making a choice!

We purchased this to have extra seating for when my son would come to visit for the holidays. We could not use it at all. It may have worked for a child, up to 10-12 yrs of age, but it was entirely impossible for him to sit on comfortably and a great disappointment. He is not a large man, only average. I will try to return to the sender.

I ordered this chair for my 8-year-old son's room. Figured he could use it to sit on, and we could use it for sleepover's for any of my 3 kids. There is NO WAY an 8-year-old can sit on this. Furthermore, there is no way any kid over the age of 1 can sleep on it. It is miniscule. Read the dimensions carefully and be sure this is what you want before you order it.

After buying a bunk bed and seeing how the poor quality slats start to crack I set myself to find inexpensive good quality replacement slats.
These are definitely good wood, flexible AND rigid enough to withstand weight without breaking.

The fit for our bed was perfect.

Slats are attached, so no single pieces to slip off frame. Just a little wider than my frame, so I sawed off less than an inch on one side. Now fits perfectly, and mattress is securely supported. Was a good purchase.

The wood boards are raw and unprocessed. I thought they were at least primed/painted but not. However the product works good, makes bed firm. At this price I guess it's a good deal.
