The origin story of the Intelligenz NFT collection begins with a visionary artist named Obsessive Mimicry. Mr. Mimicry has always been fascinated by exploring the connection between the physical and spiritual realms and has spent years studying various spiritual practices and esoteric teachings from Zen to Hermetic philosophy.

One day, while meditating in his studio, Mr. Mimicry had a powerful vision of a group of beings that existed in a pure energy state. From this point I scan the original artwork at 8k resolution and begin work in either Photoshop or Procreate on the iPad. I convert the main image to black and white and start clean up. Then I begin blocking in colors and eventually move on to details.

This is Mordrake, king of the Razor moths. He wields his tyrannical power over the inhabitants of the Gora forest. There is much to say about this notorious king, but that must wait for another time.

I really enjoyed working on this character. He's kind of a dark wizard of sort's. We'll have to wait and see what he is capable of and who can stop him.

Storyboards: Here we will continue to bring storyboard thumbnails sketches and changes for the live action trailer.

Concept Art: A lot of interesting art leading up to the finished ideas. Multiple changes are made frequently to work out problems and detail of the props and effects that we are trying to create. We will continue to drop new art here all the time.

Props, Animatronics and Practical Effects: This is the good stuff that takes so long to make. After we sketch it all down, it is s trial and error process using various materials to create a practical effect and prop. We'll try to update this area as much as possible.

Film Festivals: During this process we are submitting our teaser and soon to be trailer to various film festivals which are responding very well to our work.

NONAGON The world's first Crypto Noir NFT art series and story

NONAGON: Nine sides of life, nine sides of our past, present, and future meet in the world’s first Crypto Noir art series and story ever.

Linder’s latest artwork is digital meets handmade. Starting with hand-painted paper, he draws in pen and ink, and white charcoal. Each piece is scanned at a stunning 8k resolution and then 30 to 50 digital layers are added. The digital layers are printed on transparency and re-applied to the handmade drawing.

It is a one-of-a-kind series inspired by film noir and pulp fiction novels that explores the mystery of number 9, with 27 mixed media artworks that tell the first Crypto-Noir story ever. Nonagon will be released as 9 pages of artwork in three separate NFT drops.

It was a hot spring night in New York with a little rain in the air. Nona was enjoying a great time at her friend Stacey’s party with plenty of drinks, and lots of old friends. The only downside was that her loser boyfriend wouldn’t take no for an answer.

She pleaded with him earlier to stay home and let her enjoy her friend’s birthday. But it didn’t help, Derek showed up anyway. What made things worse is that after a few shots, he started hitting on her friends too. Nona had enough, after she saw his touchy-feely hands on her friends, she left the party.

Nona waited for an Uber but it was late so she called her friend Meagan to meet for a drink while she waited. The whole thing creeped her out so she grabbed the first taxi she could find and headed for the bar to meet her friend.

Nona tipped the cabbie and got out of the car only to catch a glimpse of the same stranger with a hat that followed her out of Stacey’s party. She tried to keep her eyes on him to see where he went, but he slipped into the shadows again.

Now that is strange, how could he know where she was going? How could he have gotten there before her she thought? Maybe she just had too much to drink at the party she continued.

After stepping out of the car, she noticed coins lying on the ground in front of her and something else that sparkled.

Quickly, she turned around to see if anyone near her dropped their wallet or purse or something, but no one was there. Someone definitely lost their ring and a pocket full of change right where her cab stopped to let her out.

Maybe it’s the place all cabs stop in this area and the one before her lost it? Either way, she couldn’t just leave it there. Maybe she could find an inscription on it or something to return it to its rightful owner she thought.

Wearing her tight-fitting little black dress and heels, Nona couldn’t exactly kneel down to pick it up, so she tried to reach down without looking awkward. It was an odd-shaped ring, one with many different sides.

As she got closer to it, the ring began to give off a kind of bluish glow as if it was reacting to her, that seemed very unusual she thought, but she continued to question herself, rationalizing it as maybe just reflections off of the wet street from the rain.

When she picked it up, the ring slipped onto her finger and it lit up instantly. It felt extraordinarily light for a ring this size she mused. Numbers started appearing around it like some kind of a projection.

Now, she thought it was some type of a gag or she was being filmed for a typical New York City street promotion.

The pandemic has brought many things over the past year. Most of them are horrible and deadly. Hopefully, if you are reading this you made it through without losing a loved one or becoming ill yourself. Stay well.

As an artist, it has brought more time among other things. During this time, I have used it to make art.

The first edition is sold out. The second edition of Grasspeople is coming in 2024 along with new artwork, and possibly a second issue of Grasspeople.

'Conan the Barbarian' TV Show in the Works at Netflix

Netflix's next ambitious television project will be a series adaptation of Conan the Barbarian. Robert E. Howard created the iconic character in 1932 and has been the basis for two Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, a 2011 film starring Jason Momoa and a short-lived 1990s TV series. The new project still does not have a writer or showrunner, but Fredrik Malmberg and Mark Wheeler serve as executive producers.

The project comes from Malmberg and Wheeler's Pathfinder Media, reports Deadline. It is part of a deal between Netflix and Conan Properties International, owned by Malmberg's Cabinet Entertainment. The deal will allow Netflix to develop other Conan projects, including live-action and animated movies and shows. The streamer will also have access to the full Conan literary library for adaptations.

Howard's Conan the Barbarian, or Conan the Cimmerian, debuted in a 1932 issue of Weird Tales magazine. The stories inspired the Sword and Sorcery genre. The franchise has grown to include 100 novels, video games, thousands of issues of comic books, toys, and two animated series. In 2018, a Conan series was in the works at Amazon, although it never materialized.

The Mouse Guard Animated Movie That Almost Was

Our friend David Petersen, the creator of the comic Mouse Guard was super excited when his story got optioned for film. There was a lot of pre-production work done on this movie recently which was all cut short when Disney bought 21st Century Fox. He was expecting the movie to continue, but sadly it didn't make it.
