In this episode, we explore transmutation; its framing, possibilities and connections. In the magic of life and its processes, transmuting is almost a given. To alchemize and transform through the cycles of life is inevitable. But how conscious are we when being given the opportunities to do so? Could we put more intention in it and do it more graciously?

We contemplate how potent it is to allow another being to be witnessed through her/his own humanity, and the gift one can give to simply allow her/his heart to meet someone else’s heart.

We talk about the breaking of spells of conditioning, judgement and pre conceived notions. We delight in magic that happens when we drop the labels and chose to be present with another in each and every moment.

Taryn and Rhoda share an important point of their Landmark training; the power of unpacking concepts and ideas about one’s own self. The importance to know the difference between identity constructs and truths, and the lightness that letting go of labels bring.

Join the Heart Collective as we dive deep into one of our favorite subjects – AWAKENING. We ask what is awakening and how it occurs on a personal and collective level, and how each affects the other. We also discuss how we become awake, what this process can look like, explore realities and choices we are being presented, and how awakening and its journey can drastically affect our lives.

In this episode, we had a surprise visit with a deer family of 4. Unfortunately, they didn’t make it into the camera shot so we had to edit out a great deal. We also had to restrain Taryn’s dog and calm her with Reiki and lots of love as she wanted to run off into the woods with them so apologies for the moments of bad audio – although we think the dog panting sounds are cute :-)! Interestingly, we looked up deer medicine and this is what this website had to say which we thought was so appropriate for an episode on Awakening:

Throughout the world, Deer symbolizes tenderness tempered with strength. This allows Deer Spirit to act even when obstacles challenge the path. Deer also comes as a playmate for our inner child reminding us of innocent times where the smallest flower provided a smile and excitement.
Deer medicine is strongly connected to the heart chakra. Where there is ambition, there is also love for inspiration. Deer, even when running from a predator, remains graceful. This means that Deer Spirit appearing in your life acts as a teacher of how to be gentle, determined and sure even in difficult situations. Remember that a gentle soul is not a helpless one. Deer wisdom shows you how to use your great horns for defense.
Deer may also challenge you to leave behind the safety of your grassy bedding for fresh horizons. Ever vigilant, Deer moves often for protection. As you move with her don’t take the negative patterns with you, rather let new surroundings inspire different perspectives. By so doing you create the energies of regeneration and renewal even as Deer’s antlers grow back when they fall off.

Integrity, a real alignment of our thoughts, actions, words and deeds is the topic of Episode 5. How do we navigate the world whole, undivided and guided by strong holds and principals?

We talk about integration, strengthening our entire beings, taking stock of all the moving parts of ourselves, shadow work as part of growth and how it can be use as fertilizer to sustain the process of expansion.

Can we be integral and whole at every moment, being present with what is, and experiencing life at the most devotional state possible? How can we experience a sense of being that is in this world, but not from it?

In the episode we talk about awareness. By definition, to be aware is to have knowledge, perception or realization of something. How does it play out in our collective experience and personal lives? Is awareness a destination, a place we get to, or a way to experience life and create its meaning?

We talk about the role of self awareness; anything created within is the first step to a new in the collective. Liz laughs at her own cognitive dissonance at exploring germ theory. We dive into responsibility, humility, courage and honesty. Can we take stalk of the effects that we have on others? In our littlest lives, can we create a big impact on the all?

In this episode we discuss what it means to forgive, and why giving & receiving forgiveness is a complex issue. Rhoda discloses a very personal story of how Forgiveness can happen in an instant. We also discuss how we may forgive ourselves, others, the effects of forgiveness or the refusal of forgiveness, and how we can be aided in grieving and healing personally and for the collective. We also examine the effects of asking & receiving forgiveness of ourselves and others, and ask if forgiveness is always appropriate?

In our second episode filmed in a dry brush nook of the Palisades mountains, the Heart Collective looks at what compassion means – for ourselves, others around us, and for the collective. Currently many are feeling extreme emotions and being confronted with challenging or new information & experiences, so how do we live from a place of compassion? How does compassion allow us to remain centered and in integrity, while still allowing for co-creative experiences?

We also look at how we may gracefully extend compassion, not only to ourselves during this challenging time, but also to others who may have differing opinions that we may not feel aligned with.

In our first episode, recorded in the beautiful mountains of Pacific Palisades, California, the Heart Collective addresses the importance of Discernment. We look at why the ability to rightly discern is so imperative now, and how to understand what is truly best for you in consideration of the well being of others. How do we properly discern with so much information and so many perspectives available? How to we remove personal judgements and be more heart centered in our discerning? What could a New Earth definition of Discernment look like?
