On the News helicopter, We took a RC Aerodyne Chaos 600 and added a trex 700 tail boom and torque tube. Some light modifying on the length of boom and added some wood formers to give the mechanics some height. Everything else fit into place with no modifications.
The stock Chaos 600 Combo kit gave us enough power to still do 3d maneuvers such as simple loops and rolls.
