This card was created using Lawn Fawn's "Admit One" Stamp & Die Bundle. I just love the Ferris Wheel Stamp! I colored it with Sakura Glaze Pens and used Mod Podge Dimensional Magic to get the 3D look.

I used a Chevron Die and a Stitch circle die to create the background. Stamped the sentiment in the Memento Black Ink, and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Today I am featuring the Celebrations Stamp Set and the Celebrations Die Set! This die is genius and I just LOVE the Itty Bitty Tags that come with the Die Set and the adorable Matching Stamps in the Celebrations Stamp Set!

This die is so much fun to work with. If you already have Concord and 9th's HUGS Card Closure Die Set, this one works the same way. If you haven't used these dies before, there is a Video showing how to use the die set on their page.

Here I used the striped stamp to decorate the package. Can you see the itty bitty tag!? Isn't that just adorable! I used the big gift ties and added a piece in the middle to fill it out and doubled up the rows.

This is how card looks on inside. Aren't the Celebrations die set and stamps adorable!!

On this second card I outlined the gift and on the little tag there is a scroll under "for you". That part was made from the balloon string

On these cards I used the Sentiments from Celebrations, The flowers in the background are from the "You are Enough" stamp set. They have been embossed in white and the Vellum overlay has a scalloped bottom from the Bags and Tags Die Collection!

The Large Layered Flower can simply be stamped with its layering pieces. It can be stamped and cut with the base die (above in yellow), it can be stamped and using the die outline the petals (as in below: bottom right) or you can stamp everything and cut out with the outline and petal dies, cut out petals, then in a darker color, cut out the outline and Re-insert the petals from 1st image (below: on top)

There are several other ways to use this set, but I have more 2 more amazing stamp sets and a a Die set to work with that will blow your mind!

Right at Home Stamps - Be a pop of color

For todays card I used a Crafters Companion background die. I cut it in both black and white cardstock, however, since I made my base card in black I used to black one as a stencil to reinsert the the negative images, and saved the die cut bits and pieces from the Black cardstock for another project.

I then created a Rectangle Frame by using two of the rectangles from the MFT Pierced Rectangle Stax. I used washi tape to temporarily adhere them to the cutting plate exactly where they needed to be and wouldn't move. I also die cut the orange cardstock from the stitched circle and cut the banner by hand.

Carefully Cut across the "be a pop of" and cut off, and the same with the "in a black and white world" In Black Ink Stamp them onto the Circle and banner and use clear embossing powder to heat emboss. Using Clear really brings out the details.

Cut a piece of plain White Cardstock to fit card under frame. Stamp "color" in red ink and add red embossing powder. Heat Set. As you can see (from photo above) the Sentiment stamps are not filled in, so to make it look that way, I colored in the rest of the image with a Red pigment marker and heat embossed the inside of the word as well.

Then, to give it some shimmer I went over it with a versa marker and used the Judikins Iridescent embossing powder to Heat Set the world Color. For a little character hand drew some circles and dots all over the sheet in the Versamark and heat embossed with the Iridescent embossing powder, giving it almost a Bokeh effect.

Todays project was inspired by the Virginia View Challenge: All About Colors

I love these new stamps from Right at Home. They have really cute images and sentiments! This stamp is from the Color in Sentiments set. The Designer, Nicole, is simply the sweetest person I've ever spoken to! Her family has owned a scrapbooking store for some time, and she recently began designing her own line of stamps.

Acrylic Shaker with homemade confetti and Poppystamps new release

I love the bright cheerful tone of this card. I used DCWV cardstock and black and white printer cardstock.

The stamps are from Poppystamps new release that I recently won in their release giveaway. I love this set! It also has a coordinating die available that I did not win :(

They also just released another layering stamp and die set that I am dying to get my hands on called Flower Patch. It is uhhhhmazzzing! Click here to see their Spring 2016 releases.

Back to my card:
I used MFT pierced rectangle stackers to create the frame. On the frame I stamped the sentiment in Tsukineko Brillance Pigment Ink in Graphite black and Heat ebossed with a clear embossing powder from Judikens.

I love the clear embossing powders. They not only brighten/darken the image but they also give your stamped image or sentiment clarity and if the powder goes other places no one will ever know!

This stamp set is meant to be layered but I just love the scrollwork on the top layer. I used the medium butterfly filigree to stamp the background and then filled in any spaces with the two smallest butterflies

For the background I used the Sunflower Yellow Brilliance Pigment Ink from Tsukeniko and heat embossed with the clear embossing powder from Judikens.

I then applied the clear acrylic sheet to the frame and then the foam tape (making sure there were no openings that the confetti would fall out of) to the back of the frame. I used a regular hole punch for my Polka Dot confetti in the same yellow cardstock, placed the confetti in the middle of the stamped panel and adhered the frame, centering on the background.

The card base is out of the same cheerful yellow with a white and black layer on top.

Watercolor Images and perfect panels

Today I played around with watercoloring images. I just love this Mon Ami Stamp and Die set from CAS-ual Fridays, and was thrilled to get to work with it!

I stamped the images onto watercolor paper with Tsukineko Graphite Black Brilliance Ink and heat embossed with Judikins detail clear embossing powder and die cut them. Because I am new to watercoloring, I painted quite a few of them playing around with shading and other variations to see what I liked.

When watercoloring small images, temporarily adhere them to a piece of cardstock so you don't smudge the images with your fingers - I do the same thing when Heat Embossing small images so I don't burn my fingers!

When I got a few I was happy with I used a Sakura Glaze pen to "emboss" the circles above the flowers. I used a white card base with a black panel that I stamped with a sentiment from the Wallflowers stamp set in white pigment ink and heat embossed with Ultra fine White embossing powder. I tied twine around the panel and adhered to the card base and topped off with a cute little bow!

I cut each panel out of white cardstock with the Square piercing die from My favorite Things. then cut another layer out of red cardstock slightly larger than the die cut. I cut another layer in in white then I cut a panel out of red cardstock to fit just above the sentiment. I used foam dots to adhered the watercolored flowers to the top panels, and stamped the bottom squares. The lines didn't quite reach or fill in the where the panels sloped down, so I used a Faber Castell Fine Tip black pen and a ruler to stretch the line to the flowers.

I know it has been ages since I've posted, or even crafted but I have been very sick and needed a creative outlet, and I decided to enter some challenges.

I love the tone on tone trend going on but to add some interest I dry embossed the bottom panel with an embossing folder from Lifestyle Crafts.

I used a piercing rectangle die from MFT for the top 2 panels. The stamp is from Poppystamps and the stag die is from Kaisercraft.
