It's not the quickest to make but it lasts for days. The recipe makes around 100 scones. It's a bit different from the usual British style scones as it's savoury and doesn't go well with jam. But great as a party finger food.

I have a bit of trouble how should I call this in English, but I stick to the term of macaroon. Although it's nothing like it. Or you can just simply call it puszedli (poosedly). But this would probably send you to a fit of loud laughs.

It's quite a popular dessert in Hungary during the Christmas/Easter period. Although we used to have it regardless of the occasion. One thing you have to bare in mind, consume with care as contains a bit of calories.

Recently I went to London, and on the way home, I squeezed in a quick visit to Borough Market, where fresh meat, vegetables and other food and drink related commodities are in abundance. As I was planning to make pate sometime, it was an obvious choice to take home some fresh chicken liver. It's a bit messy, but very easy to make.

Summer is over, and we're getting closer to winter day-by-day beyond recovery. This week I had to turn my heating on!

Tragedy!

To tackle this, I've decided to bake an apple cake. There's something magical about it when the scent of the cinnamon, apple and slowly caramelising sugar fills the warm air. Just sit back and enjoy the warm cake with a cuppa tea and a good book.

In Winchester, UK we have every fortnight Sunday an excellent Farmers' Market with local producers. Few weeks before I've spotted a decent game meat seller, which came handy when I've read this recipe. I've made it with croquettes instead of mash, and also left out the Thai basil. Even so, with my friend we have managed to ate up all the 2 pair of breasts in one go with the croquettes.
Let's cook it...
