Linda Jones grew up in a household filled with constant fighting and trauma, as her alcoholic father was extremely abusive. Her mother hoarded the pain and anger, which she, in turn, dumped on Linda and her two brothers. The abuse continued for most of Linda’s life until her mother passed last year. Linda spent her entire life trying to fix her mother, hoping that they would be happy once she was fixed. But there was no fixing her mother, and nothing Linda did seemed to be enough.
