#ZumaShow Memo For Programming Execs: See quotes, below, about "Zuma Dogg": Former radio DJ/Program Director/Consultant -- turned L.A. cable TV comedy icon with his "Zuma Dogg" pop-culture/comedy character; making a BIG debut on, "The Howard Stern Show," in 2000 (see videos, below) -- followed by a ten year run on cable TV, throughout Southern California. (Real life, "Wayne's World"=BIG NAME RECOGNITION in #LA.)

In 2006, Mr. Dogg became active in #LA City Hall politics, when City Council passed an ordinance banning amps on the Venice Beach boardwalk.

ZD attended several hundred council meetings; to discuss this free speech issue (and then extending into a myriad of citywide issues). The meetings were broadcast on City TV with twelve airings a week; with ZD speaking throughout=huge street recognition.

ULTIMATE DOGGUMENTARY INTERVIEW w Paul E. Amori! Zuma Dogg eventually was forced to sue the City of Los Angeles, in Federal Court; and the judge ruled that L.A. City Council was guilty of breaking the law, in censorship of the public.

City of Los Angeles had to change their shady rules, both on the Venice Beach boardwalk; and in City Council chambers, during public comment forums. It became a free speech issue that made local, national and international newspaper headlines.

Zuma was also a frequent caller on KABC/KRLA/KTLK/KFI, with several hundred, high profile calls, as a City Hall insider. (A familiar voice to L.A. talk radio audience.)

Think about that!) Also, radio legend, who told Emmis Broadcasting, that they should take their losing station, and go ALL HIP HOP. The station is now, "POWER 106." Grammy/Academy Award Winner, Seal, flew from England, to thank me. personally, for giving him his U.S. break, that resulted in his getting signed to Warner Bros. Rest=history. When Run-DMC/JMJ came to my hometown, on "King of Rock," tour, in 80's, I was ONLY person allowed backstage, with Run-DMC/JMJ. Just the four of us, in the room. When I took a trip, to NYC, Clive Davis let me spend the weekend in Whitney Houston's condo, cause she was out of town, and Mr. Davis didn't want me to waste money on a hotel. (Nice guy!) One time, Eazy-E showed up at my door, and asked to meet me. I let him. ;) Rolling Stones let me hang out, backstage with them; and I got to play pool with Keith. (Didn't understand a word he said.) DON'T ASK why Tina Turner sat in the seat next to me, for dinner, at her own party, when she came to town. Gene & Paul (KISS) also sat next to me, for dinner, at their own party. Jamie Foxx rolled up, on me, and pulled out his camera and did a selfie video with me and his kids. Stone Temple Pilots called me, for Zuma Dogg videos, for their tour bus (and shouted me out, from stage, once). Adam Sandler wore a Zuma Dogg shirt in Holiday video, for U.S. Troops. I should write a book.

Jamie Foxx rolled up, on me, and pulled out his camera and did a selfie video with me and his kids. Stone Temple Pilots called me, for Zuma Dogg videos, for their tour bus (and shouted me out, from stage, once). Adam Sandler wore a Zuma Dogg shirt in Holiday video, for U.S. Troops. I should write a book.

UNITED STATES/AUGUST 07, 2013: Today, a FEDERAL JUDGE ruled in favor of Zuma Dogg on his "as-applied" challenge to the Los Angeles City Council "Rules of Decorum" under the United States Constitution and the California constitution.

The court declined to issue a preliminary injunction but finds that the provisions of the Rules of Decorum at issue here are constitutional -- only when there is an actual disruption beyond a per se breach of the Rules. (The "as applied," ruling means the judge agrees that Dogg was not being disruptive, yet banned, anyway. #SlipperySlope #CensorshipAtHandsofCouncil)

Indeed, this incident is exemplary of why it is unconstitutional to restrict speakers from making personal attacks in City Council meetings; it chills speech critical of elected officials, which is speech at the heart of the First Amendment. In one of the largest cities in the world, it is to be expected that some inhabitants will sometimes use language that does not conform to conventions of civility and decorum, including offensive language and swear-words. As an elected official, a City Council member will be the subject of personal attacks in such language. It is asking much of City Council members, who have given themselves to public service, to tolerate profanities and personal attacks, but that is what is required by the First Amendment. While the City Council has a right to keep its meetings on topic and moving forward, it cannot sacrifice political speech to a formula of civility. Dogg “may be a gadfly to those with views contrary to [their] own, but First Amendment jurisprudence is clear that the way to oppose offensive speech is by more speech, not censorship, enforced silence or eviction from legitimately occupied public space.” Gathright v. Mercedes Marquez, the architect behind the aggressive anti-property owner, anti-business policies of the Los Angeles Housing Department has unfortunately returned to her post. After serving a short stint at HUD in Washington DC she was sent back to LA. She was confirmed on Friday November 16, 2012 in a perplexing split vote. Ten landlords managed to show up to protest the hearing. Only 24 hours notice was given for this important vote.

Usually in these General Manager Confirmation Hearings, the person being appointed is given a few softball questions and then voted in unanimously by the City Council. This time it went a bit different. Mercedes Marquez didn’t even show up to own Confirmation Hearing. Imagine going to a job interview where the salary is over $200,000 and sending in your friend instead. This is exactly what Mercedes Marquez did by sending in Rushmore Cervantes, another executive of the LAHD to answer these questions.

Many Councilmembers voiced their opinions on Mercedes Marquez. Councilmember Dennis Zine even said that in the past 11 years he has never seen a General Manager not show up to their own confirmation hearing. Koretz, who is usually more pro-tenant didn’t feel comfortable voting her in. Councilmember Krekorian questioned why the vote was being taken on the very last day of council session and the vote be delayed. Councilman Englander voiced strong disapproval towards Mercedes Marquez being absent as well. The City Attorney stated that since this was just before the Council Recess, she would still be appointed even without a vote, she had to be rejected outright. To many landlords in the audience, this seemed to be a purposeful strategy done by the Council President so shoo her in quietly. She was voted 8 Yeas, 4 Nos, and 3 Absent. So she won a majority of the Council by one vote, hardly a vote of confidence.

THE MUST SEE...

Obama desperate for political support, invited East L.A. political mob into the White House, in form of appointments (Hilda Solis/Mercedes Marquez) and his arm's length relationship with L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who Obama has running around in the media being a whiny, squeaky wheel...trying to get the rest of the country to fall for the same bullshit, that just DESTROYED THE ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL FABRIC OF L.A. FOR DECADES!

BUT ALL I HAVE HEARD, ON THE MEAN STREETS OF EAST L.A. is all these people Obama is fucking in bed with at the White House are connected to this political mob.

People like Vignali, Torres, Meruelo, Alatorre, Nunez, Perez. And people like Bill Clinton & NY GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO, who go along with them. (Bill, did you pardon Vignali, just cause you really, really wanted to? OR BECAUSE THE MOB MADE YOU AN OFFER YOU COULDN'T REFUSE?)

AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT: It is accidentally discovered that Obama's White House was sending high powered weapons to the Mexican Mafia cartel. WHAT IF IT HADN'T ACCIDENTALLY BEEN EXPOSED? So once it WAS exposed, come up with BIGGEST BULLSHIT EXCUSE EVER (cause there's really not much you can say, at that point): Um, we gave them the weapons, cause we wanted to track them to see what they were doing with the weapons. GOOD ANSWER!

IT'S TOUGH, I UNDERSTAND! You make a deal with the devil and before you know it, the Dark Force has a Darth Vader helmet slapped on your head, and you can't yank it off.

Didn't just happen to YOU Obama. It happened to Villaraiogsa, Jose Huizar and A LOT of these PUPPETS, who sold their soul and made a deal with the devil. THEN, they get pushed a little too far into deep water, over their head...they can't swim back to shore and the undertow sucks em away.

AND THEN, YOU APPOINT THE PUPPETS TO YOUR ADMINISTRATION AND HAVE THEM CAMPAIGN FOR YOU!

The Andrea Alarcon post just blew past all others (BIG TIME), but SHOCKINGLY the post on Frederick Sutton vs Mike Bonin in CD 11 (Westside) City Council Election (March 05, 2013) was #1 for the day/week, until just now -- which says BIG INTEREST in THAT election. Zuma Dogg will be blogging on http://LACityElections.com, questions for Bonin who is CURRENT Chief-of-Staff for the district (Rosendahl's COS) -- and is REALLY the guy who does everything, while Rosendahl flaps around on TV 35 -- and shamelessly attends photo ops and campaign events. Bonin basically puts the stuff in front of Bill, briefly explains, Bill signs it and says, "Yeah, yeah, yeah...great, great, great," and so be it. So the question will be, "WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FEDERAL, STATE and COUNTY MONEY TO PROVIDE BASIC SERVICES, no longer being provided? The money was provided for SPECIFIC things. Appears David Copperfield did a magic trick in Bill's office and made the money disappear. ALSO, at first, I felt the Andrea Alacron issue was a "parenting issue," not an L.A. City News/L.A. Daily Blog, political issue. BUT, the more I thought about it, the more things didn't add up. AND, now, I DO believe it is a political issue of abuse of power -- LAPD giving preferential/bend-over-backwards/defy protocol and logic treatment to Villaraigosa's Commissioner -- and then I DO BELIEVE it was VILLARAIGOSA in the hotel room with Ms. Alarcon, HIMSELF, as the drunk people figured out a story -- called shots at LAPD and City Hall -- and Villar was on the phone thugging out, silencing people. SOME SERIOUS QUESTIONS AND THINGS TO THINK ABOUT, regarding the "Andrea Alacron" (everybody in club gettin' "Tipsy") sticky-situation. At first I didn't wanna cover this on L.A. City News/L.A. Daily Blog, cause at first, appeared to be a personal parenting issue. BUT, as I continue to think about, and see how it is being reported/portrayed in the L.A. Times, L.A. Weekly -- and the reason D.A. Jacky Lacey used to pass it Trutanich (not that I care, but interesting linguistics) -- AND, most importantly; the preferential treatment and use of LAPD and L.A. City Hall by the political insiders; and perhaps a cover-up, including LAPD (who has some camera footage at Parker Center and phone records to check) -- here's what I was thinking:

Here is how I believe things went down on this one. Sometime around 10, Ms. Alarcon told her daughter that she was going to leave for a bit. She gave her daughter her city phone and left. The daughter ran outside and saw her mother with the Mayor and or with his assistant. The daughter probably wanted to not be left alone and her mother told her to go back inside. The daughter did; but, for some odd reason ended up in the parking structure beneath City Hall or City Hall East where she was found by security.

Security obviously asked her who she was and she said who her mother was. They were also told to call the number that the daughter was given to call if she needed her mother. Security called that number and got whoever they got. At that point in time they were told to keep an eye on the little girl or return her to her mothers office or do whatever. Security didn't feel comfortable with that, they waited an hour and called the police to come pick the girl up. After all, they are not babysitters.

It does not require a lot of thought to figure this all out. My guess, security didn't want to wait all night for Alarcon to come back and their shift had ended. My guess is they called Alarcon or whoever again. Phone records would show that. In either case, Ms. Alarcon did not return and security turned the child over to the police. It would be reasonable to expect the police to immediately call the number the daughter had; but, still the daughter was not picked up by Ms. Alarcon a couple of blocks away. Nope it took hours because arrangements had to be made to protect the man that was with her.

One article says that everyone in the bar was sworn to secrecy. What does that mean? What favors or money or threats would it take to swear all of those people to secrecy? Now the police acted oddly, why wasn't Child Protective Services called immediately? What did the kid do between the hours of 11:30 and 2:00 while with the police? Did the really agree to be babysitters too? That is not normal for them. Why did the LAPD not follow their own protocol? A story had to be created by drunk people in a hurry. Those stories rarely stand up to any real scrutiny and we have seen none from the L.A. Times or the Daily News or any other rag. Nope, this town is controlled or so it seems.

Here is the most corrupt and amusing part. The District Attorney chose not to prosecute Ms. Alarcon because her kid was left with the security personnel. Did you get that? The kid was not "left" with security personnel, read the articles, she was found by security personnel, there is a difference. So, how many people don't give a rat's rearend about this child. Obviously her mother doesn't care enough to take care of her. The "man" she was with didn't care. The kid could have been raped or abducted; but, going to have a drink with someone was more important.

Here is an interesting question. Who were the cops that watched that kid and why haven't they been interviewed. Did they get overtime so that the number of people involved was kept to a minimum? The child would have been taken to Parker Center, it has many cameras, there must be video. Why is it that the media has not asked to see the videos from inside or even outside of City Hall?

Here is the most amusing thing. The police have the ability to track cell phones and find locations. They called a phone number off of Ms. Alarcon's City issued cell phone and I know they can track those. Why didn't the police send someone to pick up Ms. Alarcon? Again, just a bunch of random questions.
