We had the signing of MoA between Balay sa Humay and Professor Jo Travero for the lease of farm implements and other arrangements.

We also visited BISU and the possible BIAD V PMO in Bilar

Had a meeting today with Dr. Cholie Vinluan and Nilda Saludo of Batuan Colleges and Jun Ayag, PBSP business consultant, and Liz Puno of PBSP Cebu. Jun presented an outline of the road map for Balay sa Humay. I suggested that they hold a workshop after lunch to fill in the blanks with facts and figures. Otherwise, there... is no business plan. Next meeting: 22 June. Hopefully, we will have something more solid by that time.

Danao Trip

Accompanied ABV Tony Critchley with Joyce and Natnat to Danao yesterday. Tony will stay in a room at the Jose L. Gonzaga Farmers Foundation. Had lunch and meeting with the PIT headed by MAO Fred Divinagracia, Dr. Vladimir Vitor, the head of FITS, Farm Technician Aida Liratan, and MPDC Joe Torregosa and his assistant, T...ata, who is actually the focal point for LGSP-LED for the municipality, and MTO Jerome Labra. Roles and tasks were discussed, as well as details of transport and logistic support. Tony will meet Mayor Gonzaga today.

Brought Tony Critchley around the city last Saturday. Now he has his own mobile phone number for local calls. Checked possible accommodation for him while in the city. Tony Critchley - Australian Business Volunteer

Tony Critchley, Australian Business Volunteer, will arrive tomorrow for a four-month assignment with the BIAD 5 CASA in Danao. He will be the 19th ABV deployed in Danao upon the request of the LGU during the last four years. Tony is expected to help CASA develop a curriculum for organic rice farmers from the eight municipalities of BIAD 5.
