Sexiest Woman Believes In Gandhian

The Gandhian motto “Be the change you want to see in the world” made South African model of Indian-origin, Sashi Naidoo, to be voted the world’s sexiest woman of 2011 by 1.5 million readers of a leading men’s magazine FHM.

Naidoo says, in school she was an ugly duckling with braces and the last to be invited for a dance by the boys. She inched her way slowly to be a top class model and improved her ratings till she won the title in the poll conducted by FHM magazine.

Naidoo is an ambassador for Audi A1, has had some appearances on local TV and is running her own modeling agency, Alushi Model Management.

Naidoo was born and raised in Port Elizabeth, matriculating from Alexander Road High School in 1997. She moved to Johannesburg to study chiropractic medicine and qualified as a doctor in 2007.

This beauty has business savvy and has sold and arranged flowers since she was a schoolgirl. Naidoo now owns a modelling agency.

She also studied chiropractic medicine. She studied for five years at the University of Johannesburg.

Lingerie Basketball

Teams playing in the Lingerie Basketball League have to strip to their bras and pants for matches, reports The Sun. And the games have already got male excited in LA.

Billed as “where beauty meets the hardwood”, the competition sees four scantily-dressed teams - The Beauties, Divas, Glam and Starlets - battle it out every week.

The final will take place next month, says the report.

Poonam Pandey offered to strip

Model Poonam Pandey has described why she was unwilling to strip on national television.

Pandey first came into the news when she offered to strip if Team India won the World Cup cricket, a promise yet to be fulfilled.

But, she seems totally unaffected by the controversies that seem to be flooding the tinsel town and exclaims, “I think I was looking sexy in the MMS clip. I don’t think there’s anything wrong in that, the way it’s been portrayed by the media. My fans love me so, they shot me that way”.

But do her parents know about this? “Marwaogi kya. My parents are not even aware about this MMS scandal,” adds Poonam.

Dropping weight not harmful

Previous studies had raised concerns that losing weight might be harmful to older adults, since some research had linked dropping weight to a higher rate of death.

"There's been a little bit of a conundrum on whether it's a wise thing or not to ask an overweight older adult to lose weight."

But if a woman loses a lot of weight, this process shuts down. It's the body's way of preserving what resources it has. If a woman menstruates, she loses iron - and if she has little nutritional input, she can't afford to lose that.
