Our playlist here : https://www.beatport.com/chart/naturaldeepmay2021/677136 The month of May, one of our favorites! Nature is beautiful, the sun more and more present ... For this new mix, we want to honor a talented artist from Switzerland: Jean Caillou! You can listening to in our mix 2 tracks of his wonderful last EP released on Sound Avenue: "Departure Unknow" and "There". Thanks a lot Jean for this beautiful music ;) Biography: Young Jean Caillou fell as a tiny pebble from the sky and struck ground in the picturesque city of Zurich (Switzerland). There the people had an awkward yet joyful custom. Once a year they gathered in great numbers to follow colorful tribal barrows, contorting their bodies to some real outlandish noise. It was at the sylvan aftermath of such a gathering, when the young pebble felt for the first time the immense freedom and energy of a pulsating euphonic moment lost in space and time and has been longing for this sensation ever since. As the years went by, the not so young anymore Jean Caillou continuously trained his musical craftsmanship to create the sounds, rhythms and melodies he loved so much himself. After some time, the pebble got the attention of a wise Brazilian shaman and together they shared some serious calumet, only to sink at the bottom of the ocean. From there the pebble reemerged, seeing himself reborn as a pretty, but unholy cow, quickly flocking together with some other real loveable conspecifics. Jean Caillou, the cow with the pebbly heart, has been seen lately at the shore of an alpine lake, contemplating over some philosophical issues of time. Let's see where his journey may lead him next https://soundcloud.com/jeancaillou https://www.beatport.com/artist/jean-caillou/542081 https://www.facebook.com/Jean-Caillou-949752568485454

NaturalDeepJuly2020

Fri, 03 Jul 2020 13:37:23 +0000

Finally the month of July is here :) It smells like holidays. This month we wanted to highlight an international artist recognized for his productions and for his remixes. We love to play his songs which bring a lot of warmth to our stories. This is Jose Solano. Jose Solano is a musician, composer and producer born in San Jose, Costa Rica in 1980. Solano’s love of music began when he was sixteen, where he tried new and different melodies with his first keyboards. He studied piano at the Yamaha Music School with Professor Jesus Castro, and studied singing with the famous Soprano Amelia Barquero. This inspired the later development of a successful career in which he explores with different tones and textures of tribal and electronic sounds. He now works as a keyboard player with the renowned soloist Esteban Calderón while making his own music on the as well. He has shared the stage with important national and foreign artists such as the Spanish Russian Red, the Colombian Fonseca, and the Mexicans Jessy and Joy. His own music draws influence from various artists, including Jean Michael Jarre , Depeche Mode and many more. This highlights his great taste for the electronic, and thanks to his multiple influences he manages to develop his original style with his own individual sound. His most popular tracks include ‘Tambura’, ‘Marrakech’ and ‘Renaissance’ which all combine deep house electronic textures and beats to create an ambient and suspenseful sound which has come to be his iconic and unique musical testament. Jose Solano’s music career is active and thriving. His discography already boasts 72 tracks and is set to increase even more. He has recently released a track called ‘Birds’ on SoundCloud and is currently working on an up and coming EP to be released in the coming months. This experience and education all lead up to his most recent achievement in 2018, where he was nominated for an ACAM award for best electronic music producer in Costa Rica. Jose Solano’s career has evolved with not only his own musical education and experiences, but his own natural musical talents. You will find a lot of his tracks on the Lump Record label. https://soundcloud.com/jose-solano https://www.beatport.com/artist/jose-solano/224153 https://www.facebook.com/jose.solano.7568596 https://www.instagram.com/josesolanomusic/

NaturalDeepMay2020

Mon, 04 May 2020 12:41:47 +0000

In this month of May, we present to you a new artist who is dear to our hearts and whose usual productions we play. This talented producer comes from Turkey and has become essential on the Deep music scene. In this new Natural Deep you will find his remix of "One Day In Tibet" by Audiotones & Adrien (RO) (43 min) and "Inborn" released on Songspire Records (2h18min). Spotlight on: Erdi Irmak. Biography: Cross-cultural sounds and influences are the calling cards of the Erdi Irmak protfolio. Born in the hubbub of cosmopolitan Istanbul where Asia meets Europe across the vast Bosphorous River, Irmak's rise to the higher echelons of the musical elite is as rapid as it is impressive. Thoroughly immersed in the sounds of his Turkish homeland from an early age, a combination of "chilled out west and far east sounds" became the fundamental tenets of a musical ideology that has brought success across a wide spectrum of labels and genres. Proficient in deep, tech and progressive house, a further foray into electronica and techno has seen the development of a prolific talent. Winter gives way to spring for our greatest pleasure and nature takes back its rights! For this fourth episode of the Natural Deep series, we present two talented artists from Russia who, like us, are lovers of nature and deep music: Volen Sentir. Volen Sentir is the fusion of two genius producers also known as Dave Pad and Poison Pro. The sound of Volen Sentir has already had an impact on the underground with releases like the popular "Vdol Po Rechenke" on Shanti Moscow Radio in 2017 and "Arrival", released on All Day I Dream's 2018 Summer Sampler. Their last release is just as magical with two tracks that we are playing on this April mix: "The Great Escape" (88 min) and "Elemental" (102 min). Thank you Volen Sentir for all these tracks that make us vibrate, we wish you the best and continue to make us travel in music! In this difficult period, so special because of this diabolical virus, we wanted to pay tribute to all the caregivers around the world who body and soul are devoted to our health !! Friends, be strong, hold on, and protect yourself, your family and those around you.

NaturalDeepMarch2020

Fri, 06 Mar 2020 09:00:10 +0000

For this third mix of the year, we are honoring an artist we love very much !! For this month of March, we played 2 songs from: Lost Desert. Lost Desert is a very talented and mysterious Belgian artist producer often hiding behind a tribal mask. A major artist of the All Day I Dream label, Patrick Bruyndonx(whose real name is) travels the planet to distill a groovy, melodic and sweet deep house. His album produced in 2019 with Lee Burridge "Melt" is a marvel by its delicate atmosphere, just like his last productions that we play in this mix: - "Half an Hour" with Lee Burridge & Amari (29 min); - and "Peter Pan" on his new Souksonic label (114 min). Thank you Patrick for all these songs that we do not fail to play in each mix because they really represent the deep that we love !! Lost Desert in the words of Mr. Burridge: In a place of solitude sat a man. His studio a sanctuary. Time weathered many a landscape on his journey while his soundscapes were created and practices honed. During his time alone he crafted his sound. As he travelled towards us he always listened very carefully. Absorbing and capturing all the noises and wonderful vibrations around him . He found that music exists in almost everything if you listen closely enough. From grains of sand sweeping against the salt pillars of the White desert to birds returning from the skies above their inner cities. These sounds became textures and details in each musical expression. Now, as they meld in to one, they magically paint pictures behind listeners closed eyes. Lost Desert is a destination full of mystery. Ready to charm those who find their way. https://www.beatport.com/artist/lost-desert/546340 https://soundcloud.com/lostdesertmusic https://www.facebook.com/lostdesertmusic https://www.instagram.com/lostdesertmusic/

NaturalDeepFebruary2020

Fri, 07 Feb 2020 10:29:35 +0000

For our second mix (NaturalDeep) of the year we present to you 2 incredible artists : Gorje Hewek & Izhevski (GHIZ) Originally from Russia their style always makes us travel as much. We had the honor and the pleasure of playing alongside Izhevski in 2010. We are playing their latest song (Valkyrja) released this month on the famous ADID label at 73 min ! Pending their next album scheduled for next month, we share their biography. Gorje Hewek & Izhevski (All Day I Dream, Shanti Radio Moscow) As a living example of an organic and natural creative collaboration, Gorje Hewek & Izhevski long before the meeting had relatively common coordinates for their goals and aspirations in life. And moving their individual way, their fates crossed when they reached the same point at the same time. In such cases usually say “the right place and time.” It was an online music project that GHIZ had been working on with a partners for several years. During this period, already shoulder to shoulder, they developed and strengthened their beliefs and sights on music in general, recording several hundred studio sets and playing together dozens of hours. And they were able to consider in each other a lot of facets that complemented and united them. Felt and saw how any object or production that they touched together acquired a powerful driving force. One of these objects was their own label Shanti Moscow Radio. Which today brings to every corner of the earth an exceptional blend of originative, emotionally saturated and life-affirming music, uniting around many talented musicians of a new generation. The beginning of the formation of this division was GH+IZ’s own music, which has a foundation in fundamental and natural things. It nourishes its strength in everything that surrounds us and fills, which gives us a full range of feelings and emotions. Their studio is always full of poetry, fresh air and spices that give a taste to their work. No less natural was their alliance with the label All Day I Dream. December is the twelfth month of the year and has 31 days. It was originally the tenth month of the Roman calendar until 153 BCE. December Means “Tenth” In the modern-day Gregorian calendar and in its predecessor, the Julian calendar, December is the twelfth and last month of the year. The name is derived from decem, meaning “ten” in Latin, because in the ancient Roman calendar, December was the tenth month of the year. At the time, the calendar only had ten months and began with March. This is why the name December no longer corresponds with the placement in the Julian and Gregorian calendars. Early Names for December Middle English: Decembre Latin: December - tenth month Old English: Geol-monaþ (month before yule) History of December Originally, December was the last month of the Roman calendar since the winter period was not assigned months. It originally consisted of 30 days but was shortened to 29 days when January and February were added to the calendar around 700 BCE. During the Julian calendar reform, two days were added to December, making it 31 days long. Winter North of the Equator December is the seasonal equivalent of June in the opposite hemisphere. The winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, is the December solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. However, in the Southern Hemisphere, it is the summer solstice. Solstices & Equinoxes Worldwide Every year, December starts on the same day of the week as September and ends on the same day of the week as April. December Birthstone The birthstone for December is the blue turquoise or zircon. December's birth flowers vary according to location. In the US, the paperwhite Narcissus (Euphorbia pulcherrima) has the honor. In the English system, December's birth flower is either the poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima) or holly (Ilex aquifolium), both symbolizing hope.

The Eighth Became the Tenth October is the tenth month of the year in the modern day Gregorian calendar. It was also the tenth month in the earlier Julian calendar. The name October is derived from octo, which means eight in Latin. It dates back more than 2000 years to the ancient Roman calendar, which was replaced by the Julian calendar in 45 BCE. Middle English - octobre Latin name - October mensis - eighth month Anglo Saxons - Winterfylleth - winter full moon History of October October always had 31 days, and it became the tenth month of the year when the months of January and February were added, pushing October towards the end of the solar year, which is around 365.24 days long. The Julian was substituted for the Gregorian calendar because it did not reflect the length of a year on Earth accurately enough. Today's Gregorian calendar does a much better job at keeping up with our planet's revolutions around the Sun, but even this calendar is not perfect. Fall and Spring Month October is in the fall in the Northern Hemisphere, the month after the autumnal equinox. However, as seasons are opposite on either side of the equator, October is in the spring in the Southern Hemisphere. The seasonal equivalent is April in the opposite hemisphere. The month of October starts on the same day of the week as January in common years, but during leap years, October does not start on the same day of the week as any other month. It ends on the same day of the week as February every year and January in common years only. Calendula and Opal October's birth flower is the calendula. The birthstone for October is the opal and it is said that the opal will crack if worn by someone who is not born in October.

The month of miguet ! May is the fifth month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and the third of seven months to have a length of 31 days. May is a month of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. Therefore, May in the Southern Hemisphere is the seasonal equivalent of November in the Northern Hemisphere and vice versa. Late May typically marks the start of the summer vacation season in the United States and Canada and ends on Labor Day, the first Monday of September. The month of May (in Latin, Maius) was named for the Greek Goddess Maia, who was identified with the Roman era goddess of fertility, Bona Dea, whose festival was held in May. Conversely, the Roman poet Ovid provides a second etymology, in which he says that the month of May is named for the maiores, Latin for "elders," and that the following month (June) is named for the iuniores, or "young people" (Fasti VI.88). Roses to Virgin Mary Mayovka, in the context of the late Russian Empire, was a picnic in the countryside or in a park in the early days of May, hence the name. Eventually, "mayovka" (specifically, "proletarian mayovka") came to mean an illegal celebration of May 1 by revolutionary public, typically presented as an innocent picnic.[1] Special devotions to the Virgin Mary take place in May. See May devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Eta Aquariids meteor shower appears in May. It is visible from about April 21 to about May 20 each year with peak activity on or around May 6. The Arietids shower from May 22 – July 2, and peaks on June 7. The Virginids also shower at various dates in May. For us this month is particular because it's the Mervyn's birthday month! The spring or March equinox occurs during this month and falls on the 19th, 20th or 21st day. March also marked the beginning of the war after the winter months. January became the first month of the calendar year around 700 BCE. Although January 1st is New Year's Day, many cultures and religions still celebrate the beginning of the New Year in March. Third month of the year March is the third month of the calendar year Julian and Gregorian which consists of 31 days. It was the first month of the year in the Roman calendar of 10 months. February is the second month of the year of our Gregorian calendar of modern times. It is the shortest month of the year with only 28 days in common years and 29 days in leap years. The old Roman calendar considered the winter season as a period without months and the year had only 10 months. The month of February was added, with the month of January, to about 700 BCE, so that the calendar reflects a standard lunar year of 355 days. February became the second month of the year around 450 BC, although this is the beginning of the last month of the year. February was shortened to 23 or 24 days at certain intervals of the Roman calendar and a 27-day leap month was inserted after February to realign the year over the seasons. As part of the Julian calendar reform, the intercalary month was abolished and every four years it was declared a leap year. A twenty-ninth day was added in February.

They were added around 700 BCE. January and February were initially the last months of the calendar year, which began in March (Martius). However, in 450 BCE, the beginning of the year was moved to January 1. January originally consisted of 30 days when it was added to the 10-month Roman calendar.
