Dew Tour 2013 Flatland Practice

Great time at the Dew Tour this year with the worldwide flatland bmx family. It was an honor to judge the contest this year and am looking forward to next year already. I was able to film some practice so check out the best from Matthias Dandois, Matt Wilhelm, Viki Gomez, Yohei Uchino, Alex Jumelin and Terry Adams. Filmed with Nikon D5200. Slight learning curve with new equipment but I think I have a good handle on DSLR shooting now.

The Voodoo Pre Jam 2013 or AKA the Pralex Invitational was a great day that every fan of flatland looks forward to all year. I can't imagine seeing a better series of Jam circles anywhere in one place anywhere in the world. This year, the humidity was so high that my main Sony camera didn't like it, so I spent more time with the GoPro Hero3 and I am very happy with the quality it captures. Anyway, everyone is in this, either in the crowd or riding. It's long at 15 minutes but again, I wanted to chronicle the day for all of us to remember for years to come.

What a great week with my boys from Germany, Waldemar Fatkin, Stephan Kornely and Kevin Brill. We spent full days visiting Philadelphia, Stephen Cerra's Flowmountain and New York City. This edit is for our day in Philly. The guys were huge Rocky fans and it was a dream for them to ride and film at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. We also hit up City Hall and Independence Hall. Other than Kevin's hard spill and getting bounced from every spot in town, we still had a fun day of riding and getting some bangers down too. Check it:

Guys, I wish I had filmed more which is always how it goes at events. I was able to film 2 of my favorite riders in Mark Harris and Andrew Wickham. Nick killing it on his scooter was just a bonus. Anyway, enjoy.

York Jam 2010 has come and gone. Another great year with familiar faces and some new ones too. The 20th Anniversary still sounds surreal to me. I can't see why we can't have 20 more years. Lot's of riders made the trip this year. I was pleasantly surprised by the turnout. Not too hot, no rain, a nice breeze. A tent this year with Dos Equis made it complete. Check out the photos so see the flow in action. Many riders killing it all day long. Video coming soon!

Did you know that it is the 20th Anniversary of the York Jam? Be there on Friday June 25th (Hidden Spot, 1410 Sixth Ave) for the Pre Jam and on Saturday June 26th (Sovereign Bank Stadium Lot, North George Street) for the actual Jam. Can't wait to see everyone again.
